Black Oak Heritage Park: what do users think?
yvonne Becker: Nice walk
Richard Deslippe: Fantastically, peaceful
Wendy Proctor: Clean trails! Wonderful paths! This park is a DELIGHT!
Shawn Spicer: Nice walk near the river.
Michael “Miguel” DeOliveira: This place is an absolute hidden gem in Windsor. By far the best biking trails in the whole city, and the black oaks are hugeee!!!
Kristine Olive Racine: Beautiful bike/walking trail . Lots of deer 🦌
Veronica Keenan: Awesome
Vince Londini: Well groomed MTB trails.
The Coastal Ontarian: The forest was beautiful in the evening and had a somewhat mysterious feel to it. The hiking trails are just as they should be: natural and just wide enough as to not disturb too much undergrowth. Oaks & Walnuts were abundant. Glad I finally got to visit.
Brian Wright: Great place to trail ride
K P: We love the trail and dog park here. Great biking trail
eddy Jaz: Bicycle did almost run us over if I didn't scream at him to stop ,😠😠😠He did not even apologizeJust went pass us as if this is his drive way... very rude personThanks God that I did look behind me
Zayed AlShaddadi: Family orientation and nice hiking
Julia Thibert: Love this park, however, it is VERY easy to get lost and difficult to find your way back to the parking lot if you are not careful. This park definitely needs better exit signage.
Zack: Lovely spot for a walk in the woods. Some areas of the park have hundred plus year old Black Oaks. The main loop takes about an hour at a moderate pace. I've only been here in the winter and the trails are kept quite nice. Unpaved, no gravel, so could be muddy in the spring. If you have a bad sense of direction, don't wander off the path marked as trails. Very few people stumbling around, since most of those types go directly to Ojibway which is quite close.
greg greg: The best for biking and hiking!
Blue theguy: Hiking and biking, hike seems quite interesting with signage indicating things about the area, plants and animals. If you're not into hiking there is a pretty decent biking trail seperate from the hiking loop which is pretty fun with various turns and curves.
Manolo “Manny” Esquivel: Great place to mountain bike or hiking... You get to see lots of different types of Bird, but all kind of other animals like deer, fox , raccoons, and others ..... Highly recommended!!!!
Sebastien Gaspar-Woods: It's a great place to go bike riding or for a short walk. It's one of the more dense wooded areas in Essex-County and it has plenty of paths to explore.
Wiji Sixstar: A full growth oak savannah awaits your visit. Twisting hiking trails which double as an exciting mountain bike adventure for avid cyclists. Deer, birds and unique flora delight the senses.
Andrea: Secret gem hidden behind the dainty rice factory. Several walking and biking trails throughout the woods.
