Detroit Police Department, Twelfth Precinct: what do users think?
Tracie Smith: You can forget about receiving help from this dept, they do not answer the phone. Left on hold for years.
Joseph Dixon: Smh.....................
Eric Z: Thank you so much in advance for patrolling LaSalle St, between Pilgrim & Puritan.
BeautifulNerd1: On 3/26/22 I called DPD at 12:05 AM regarding a female that keeps blowing her horn, banging on my neighbor's door, and screaming/yelling. I've had to call the police on multiple occasions regarding this female. She left and came back with a dark colored truck. The truck left and she parked her vehicle in front of the house next door her ex. She started banging on his door and ran when the police came. She came back to the car and pretended like she was having car issues. I watched her on my porch for a few minutes. There was a unit that remained behind. I went to the police vehicle and asked the female officer what do I need to do to get them to make her leave and explained what has been going on for the last few months. I walked back to the house and had a verbal exchange with the female that was causing the disturbance. The female officer and her partner came around the corner. The female office proceeded to chastise me and tell me that I was also causing a disturbance. She became visibly frustrated with me telling her to do her job and tried to intimidate me by asking me for my identification. I instructed my daughter and her girlfriend to go back in the house because I did not want anything to happen to them. I refused to give it to her, provided her with the physical address, and requested the shift supervisor. She then directed her attention to the female disturbing the peace. Two additional neighbors because expressing their frustrations about this female from their window and front door. Finally, she was arrested, and her car was impounded. I should not have to call the police multiple times about someone disturbing the police, I should not have to fear the Detroit police intimidating me because they are not doing their job. Eventually the shift supervisor spoke with me and provided me with the information to file a complaint, but did not provide me with the female officer's name. I have multiple live Ring video footage of the female causing issues and of the interaction that I had with the female officer. I thought the point of the police was to protect and serve... not let their emotions get to them when they are being called out. This type of inadequate response would not have occurred across 8 mile.
Tee Rolla: Hope I have correct precinct for 8mile & woodward area. Shout out to the officer who helped me out this morning with the task at hand it was much appreciated, God is grand!!! Stay bless and stay safe...
The Beauty: Nice ppl
Kennard Goforth: Just in travelling pass. Sgt Nccant RIP
Phil Lewalski: My son & I went to the 12th precinct on June 15 to report a stolen car. Every officer was pleasant, respectful and helpful, even regarding such a mundane issue.
Yo S: Rude with horrible attitude and provided no assistance for a stalker.
Patrice Tinnon: Only a 1 minute wait for phone service.
Donyelle Hill: I’m not speaking for all precincts around Detroit but my experience either going in or calling the station horrible, nasty , rude, condescending. If you work for the community trying to help the community/people it should be better communication skills, why certain people go in this field of work that don’t have customer service skills or any sympathy. Ohhh let me go to work and get this over with.
Stephanie Wasson: Called 911 during an ACTIVE shooting, no one ever came. No one. This is my local precinct. Smh
Robin Morton: I'm not from Detroit but I called for a friend and they were nice to me but as for living in Detroit I will never move their it's a high crime state .I'm happy where I'm at in good old cowboy state .. I do know that the officers have jobs to do like everyone else their jobs can be stressful and tough their jobs are never done and it can be scary for any officer of any state some will come home some won't its just the way it is ..but where I'm from our cops care about us and when somtheing is going on crime wise their on it ..we don't have on hold calls if we call 911 or the non emergency number they will answer .. Our officers US wide are hear to serve and protect us ..I feel bad that some of you feel your not being treated fairly by the officers in your state but Detroit is a dangerous state I wouldn't move there for a million dollars ..
Kim Trice: My sister and i were attempting to make an accident report. We were nearly ignored and treated badly. Cops were not friendly or helpful.
Katy Barclay: To me its 5 stars because their help young people get summer jobs
Mark Banks: They have always been a well ran very polite precent hats off
Yung Nigguh: They arrest me but I dindu nuffin
Tyler Long: Officers assulated me and were very disrespectful and I did nothing wrong they were looking for someone to harass.
darius gray: Was basically handed a fake 100 from a delivery. Requested an officer and over 3 hours went by and nothing no one came. Even as the person who gave me a fake 100 threatened me.
Joyce Williams: Law and order
amel posner: Lock up had moldy pbj sandwichs

Detroit Police Department Tenth Precinct: what do users think?
Michael Nied: Best Platoon Four Lieutenant ever!Driving down violent crime-everyday.
Amanda wylie: I made a complaint with the department and I'll change my Stars once I get the call back that I asked for about my complaint. And to be clear about not knowing the officer's name it's because he had a partner in the car and he was too much of a coward to come back and hand me the ticket himself.I was pulled over this evening by officer Barron he was so unprofessional that he wouldn't stop to answer any questions about my tickets or tell me his name.I got tickets for tinted windows, a light bulb on my plate, registration which I gave him and I just bought the car, and finally my seatbelt which was around my waist behind my shoulder because I was just pulled over, and I tried to get his attention but he would not listen to me no matter what.it was very clear his only intentions were giving a ticket, I've never dealt with a member of law enforcement that would not answer my questions or address me directly like a human being. I gave him a second chance at another parking lot where he had somebody else pulled over within 5 minutes which also tells you what he was out to do that night, and all he could do is scream see you in court, what kind of officer does that.it's disgusting that someone like this who is supposed to lead by example & not ignore people that he just pulled over and refuse to answer their questions is able to walk around as a member of law enforcement losing the respect of almost everyone he deals with I could imagine. making police officers everywhere look badMr Barron you screamed at me see you in court and you bet you'll see me in court, I will take every step I have to until I see that you are coached to learn how to handle the job that you have been given. you handle it like a child throwing a tantrum with no communication skills. except the only difference is you're the child with a badge.flat out you are an embarrassment to our society tickets aside you are disgusting as a human being.
Carmela Edison: My son's and I are greatful for the help and support we received from here. My sons were assaulted an had their birthday gift (bikes)forcefully taken from them. Within a week both bikes were recovered due to the hard work of the detectives assigned to our case. Also my son's were given brand new ones by those same detectives 🤧. 💜 I can't even fully Express how moved I was from this department's actions. I felt like family at that great moment. The detectives on our case never gave up looking and they moved rather quickly to my suprise... NOT everyone is the bad guys... Thank you 10th precinct...
Ess Cooper: I haven’t heard good things about this precinct , but my experiences were not bad. Yes no matter the profession is, there will be unprofessional people, and some that work simply to make money, but the people that risk their lives deserve praise.🙏🏾 This station is the cleanest and greenest, and I’m thankful for them.
Adam Roberts: This place is a joke. Only ones here trying to file a home invasion police report and they are laughing like hyenas behind the desk. These people need to lose their jobs. Very unprofessional. Worst service ever. Will be escalating this complaint.
martez harris: Worst department ever
Jay Bannerboy: This precent was consolidated with the 11th on W. Seven Mile (in Palmer Park), and is no longer a Detroit Police Station.
Brianna Lopez: My ex works there lmfao.!!
WizWay: Unprofessional
Jasmine H: im glad some of them closed down but there still needs to be more policing

The Detroit Police Department: what do users think?
P J: That video circulating around, makes you look terrible
Remus Sulea: The worst possible came 25 minutes late
Scarlett Anderson: They don’t care. They give you an additional number to call so it’s no longer their issue.
T S: quite the embarrassing video circulating of your officers not understanding what a treaty, ordinance, and laws are. Scary stuff.
Amber Harris: When regarding to questions about anything when u know they help u they don't I don't why there they don't do there job
Talent Security: Good job
lucky Dog: I have called 3 times yesterday with a non emergency problem that could potentially become an emergency but as others have commented i guess someone has to be half dead. VERY DISAPPOINTED. By the way i also went to the station . got a phone number to the neighborhood police, voicemail was full. No help. Waiting to call 911 if the problem escalates. Hope IT works🙏
AL Nehme: They never answer the phone. Probably to busy filing their nails
Brian Martin: Jokers.
Chole burns: Listen OFFICER JOHNSON(a female) definitely shouldn't have a badge.....just watched her and her partner drive an intoxicated young man towards a dead end... INSTEAD OF THE POLICE STATION, SHE also said her body camera was on, and her supervisor has spoken to her before about the way she talks to CIVILIZATIONS 🙄.... seconds later shots were fired....... don't know what happened but I do know why black don't trust blue....no MATTER the racial background....SAD!
Robin Davidson: Today my child and I was walking (as a single parent I have to do what’s needed to do) 2 officers stop and asked if we was ok. I said yes just going to the bus stop to take my daughter to the babysitter then to work. The officers offer us a ride to drop my baby off in which they did. I so appreciate good officers. Not knowing what my situation is they stopped to even ask if we were ok is a plus. I don’t know the officers names (it was called in so I’m thinking they will receive the recognition they deserve) but I thank and really appreciate them for their efforts at helping me today. It actually made my day go smoother than it was going.
Online Person: They always pull people over, but They often fail too Protect and Serve. This area is still Dangerous. I work in the area of this police station. As I drive home I see, Uhh let's just call them.... ILLEGAL FEMALE WORKERS. I think to myself Why do they always pull people over instead of preventing things like THIS?
Ess Cooper: Thank you DPD You do a great job thanksTo the offices that live and work in the city you are important to us the citizens of Detroit!!A few bad apples don’t spoil the bunch
Michael Howell: Very friendly and understanding experienced staff
Tiera Sticks Jones: I'm here now with my sister. She goes in tell them her boyfriend has choked her and took her phone she needs help. They tell her she needs to call 9-1-1.
Raven Bloodshadow: Just horrible service, this place is the pure example of not protecting and serving, I would be more detailed but this place has to many probelms It'd take me a day or two to list them all they need some Change of employees.
martez harris: Worst department in history
Candy Cook: A man was just banging on my door at 1:40am crazy the 911 operated said she can't stay on the line with me until the police came...i begged her please...but no. But the police came in minutes. The officer got the man put him in the car and drove off. I never got a chance to say Thank you to the officers...so.... Thank you for being on time for me... Candy Cook
Jamal Saleh: My business is right down the street. You get call operators that are rude, and the police actually never show up. I called on 4 different nights twice each night. They don't even show up.
Brittany Duncan: The house next door to me was being broken in to and vandalized. The guy next door wasn't home. When they broke in his alarm started going off. I call the cops the ghetto operator said ill send a unit as she poped her gum in my ears. It's been 30 mins my dogs are howling and I have to be up for work soon. I guess they don't see this as an emergency maybe somebody should've gotten shot.

Detroit Police Department Sixth Precinct: what do users think?
Lena Ford: There was a man unidentified man prowling around on my porch Friday May 13, 2022 at 1:30 a.m while i was away on business and i cut my trip short and drove in early too see whats going on around the home front .. by the way reguardless if you have insurance on your valuables no one wants their property to be violated and In the world we live in.. i never thought that the police would not even look at video or pic or even let you write an statement .. very disgusted ... So i will share the clip on here and everyone including Law Enforcement be safe out here on the streets ..
Jada McGowan: Seems to be a nice program.I've had a closet and pantry in my basement for years. Some people take their jobs to a whole different level when approaching people that need help .If something isn't explained noone knows how often you can come .I just feel I didn't deserve to be treated like I was when I called. One 5hing I have learned dealing with the community is you never know what it is people are going through so a few words of kindness in your voice and gesture never hurts
Carter Keville: one officer started massaging my right arm and repeating "oh my look how you've grown" over and over again.cops not that racist tho overall
T S: Dad's house was broken into, you guys said you'd make it out there but he waited two days and came to you, with my brother, in his wheelchair.
Nick Jett: Cooll
Holly Timlick: The fire Department is more reliable than the 6th precinct, and if you have any problems call the fire Department before the 6th precinct. Sad ain't it? Trying to take care of an ongoing problem that's been going on for 9 years, that still continues. Called NPO officer staples sent text messages, with no phone calls, emails or text messages in return. Hate liars, and people who don't enforce the law to protect caring citizens. The police say one thing, but doing another. Got to love this precinct! Totally messed up if you ask me.
Babylon Babylon: Great police station very helpful and polite
Jenn D: How the hell do you get thru to this department? I have lived here for over 2 decades and have called multiple times with no success. As a property owner, resident and tax payer i dont feel safe because i dont have a police department to rely on. These officers should be ashamed of themselves.
T. A.: They're completely useless, rude, and do not care about their jobs or the people of detroit.
ThunderHorseGaming: My truck was stolen from my driveway August 13th. Detroit pds 6th Precinct found it 3 days later on August 16th abandoned. The state police had it listed as stolen. The officers who found it never wanted to do their jobs right and marked it as abandoned and impounded. Well here we are October 3rd and we get a letter of Secretary of state showing it in inpound. Not once were we ever notified until today that they had it and let it sit in inpound for over a month collecting storage fees. Now we have been trying for hours to get all the needed info. Every officer we have been in contact with has given us the run around and been flat out lazy. They were supposed to release the hold on my truck an hour ago and we can't even get into the yard to look at the condition. Every officer we have dealt with has given us different stories. Because of the games they have been playing with us all day and for the last month, I am on the hook for thousands of dollars I don't have to recover my vehicle on a situation beyond my control.I fully support and back the blue, but now that I am dealing with DPD playing games its obvious Detroit police does not care about the situation I am in and care for nothing more then the money I don't have. They have been playing games nonstop with us all day, they refuse to tell us anything, wont even tell me the conditon of my vehicle. Making us drive over an hour to get to the lot to pay $75 just to see the condition of it. If the truck isnt driveable thats another hour home to get a trailer and another 2 hours of driving. The 6th Precinct is full of corrupt cops who dont care about the situation at hand.
M R Lukas: Det. S and Lt. H. Rude and dismissive. I was assaulted on 8/16 and the responding officers wrote the report the way they wanted. The errors were pointed out to Det. S. whose dismissive demeanor over the phone, i.e., "This don't don't go the way you watching it on tv," was a clear indicator of his lack of commitment to serving and protecting in my case.He was more helpful in person; however, he then caused a scheduling conflict that jeopardized my job when he lied and said he would have my report prepared for a warrant to get signed on a particular day. I travel for work and I made teeth pulling arrangements with my job to be in town on the day and at the time stated by Det. S.He told another lie to his supervisor saying he had called me two days prior to notify me that he was unable to have the package ready and that I didn't return his call until two days later. That's a lie.His supervisor sided with him. They all stick together.By the way...Det. S. also told me the assailant could possibly walk around free for the rest of the year unless he's caught on a traffic stop.I took this to mean...The Detroit Police Department does not actively seek out criminals under arrest warrants. They just wait for fate to magically drop them in their laps.I am sure somewhere on this planet there are police dedicated to their jobs and do them with the utmost integrity.Feel free to respond here with who they are.The Universe needs balance.
A Red: Incompetent- just hope that you never need them or have to deal with DPD. Officer was too busy flirting with girls to address the people waiting. You call they never show up - I feel bad for the people that live locally and have to depend on them.
Johnny Johnson: Too busy to be bothered. Nap time can’t be disturbed. Rude
Sub Zero: i was on my go kart the police pulled me over and told me he pulled me over because I don't have a plate on my go kart then he turn it off the wrong way Jack supercharger $250 policegonna pay for it no I be there tomorrow morning when he could have let me turn it off and they get no star from me but you got to give them a star
Soreal Beauty: Still waiting for police to show up to break in reported at my house...7 months ago.
SirRoyalty: I was there only 15mins. No one greeted me or asked why I was there...! The Fact that I heard someone call out Chief to this One Guy who was looking at me, and I was still un-helped really irritated me... I only came in to File a report... NEVER WILL I WASTE OR EVEN THINK ABOUT THIS PRECENT AGAIN... please fix this Specially when You have people waliking in...!
larone cook: This 5 star rating is for Officer Heather Ivey. She is all about helping the citizens of this city resolve their issues. I've tried for almost a year to get 2 neighborhood problems addressed. I called telephone crime reporting four different times as I was instructed to do. NOTHING GOT DONE! I walked into the precinct on two separate occasions with my concerns. NOTHING GOT DONE! My wife complained in person at the precinct. AGAIN, NOTHING GOT DONE!Then I was given Officer Ivey's phone number. I explained my two issues to her and in TWO DAYS both problems were solved.Thank you so much Officer Ivey for a job well done. You are appreciated!!!Stay safe out there, and if I had a vote for Officer of the Year you would definitely get it.
TaA Davis: Absolutely Terrible
Brad Houston: Helped out alot with info
Amber Avouris: It's a P.D. Yes, it was helpful, but I'd imagine that as long as you aren't a criminal(as I am not), it would be.

Detroit Police Department-Southwestern District: what do users think?
corinne dayon: A video has gone viral! Your department should be ashamed. How do you sleep at night? Addicts are people too. #justiceforrosita
Mer Kitten: Addicts lives matter guys. Thats someones son, someones daughter. Thats someone who lost their way.Do better.
Mary M: Justice For Rosita!!! Since when did we stop investigative crimes involving addicts? This system is so sad and corrupt that it sickens me!
mahalia simpson: I hate this police department it's rediculous I filed multiple police reports with the same individual and they did nothing about it
J Man: A lot of good officers at 4th Precint but come to find out corruption still exist unfortunately at the 4th Precint!!!
Ayo Adam: I went to file a police report with the 4th precinct this evening With a police office called Q Lehr, he’s a real class act. He just wants to laugh, and take nothing serious. I wouldn’t expect much from a boy from the suburbs to care about the minorities in the city. Completely unprofessional, he should be placed in the front Desk but instead in the back of the precinct away from people.
Charles Cini: Our hero’s in BLUE who serve to protect us in all times! God Bless you ALL !
Tommy Fuson: Used to be a 4th precent explorer back in the med 70s remember doing midnight secerety at the mighigan State Fair. I used to ride with officer Lott he was my menter
james dyson: Kids had a blast at the fair
Alexandra Feodorovna: BEST COP SHOP IN THE D.OPEN 24-7. ALWAYS CUT YOU A DEAL. GREAT GROUP OF MEN.WOMEN. MUCH LOVE n RESPECT. EVEN IF THEIR FOODS FROM TEL- WAY.
Xan Bishop: This is the sorriest excuse for a "police department" I have ever seen.
Pez Pesavento: Drove all the way up here from Dayton just for them to tell me I had to pay for my own police report? How do I have to pay for my own records?
Frank B: I went there to get my attendant lot license upon arriving the lady at the front desk had no idea what I was talking about I went and spoke with someone in the back where they made me pay $45 dollars all together plus an extra ten for a lady to sit with me I asked for a receipt and she said they don’t give receipts for help. I believe the lady just scammed $10 off me at the police station and everyone just played dumb when I asked and they rushed me to do the wrong paper work. When taking my ID photo she randomly took it leading to a blurry and bad photo for the wrong license. I suggest going to that police station with your guard up. Very upsetting for a Detroit local
Shandrafaye Dunn: Very helpful, respectable mannerable officers. Keep up the great work!!!
Xclusive “Xclusive Fights TV”: Overall great experience. They were very gentle when they handcuffed me and put me in a squad car. I complained about the seats and they were able to bring in an SUV which was more spacious and had cushioned seats, at which time I was transported to jail. Once in jail they took the handcuffs off and put me in a room at which time they got me some food for free, which was delicious. Had a great conversation with the interrogating officer about how the crime took place. He laughed at all my jokes and made me feel comfortable. Once I was booked they put me in a very spacious 8x10 cell where I was able to sleep on the best mattress I’ve ever slept on. I just can’t say enough about the time I had here. Getting bailed out and leaving was a bummer. Definitely looking forward to getting arrested again by these guys and you should to. If you got a crime in mind that you want to commit, these are guys you want to see afterwards. 100% recommended.
Kenneth Sanders: Rude over the phoneDidn’t help me
Joey Kelly: Biggest joke ever...you'll be dead before they show up or do anything.Try getting help & they'll just mouth off to you because they don't wanna do their job.
Santos Quinones: These are the laziest police officers I have encountered. The police officers at this district needs better training and have a sense of pride to serve and proctect the community and not just do the minimum to get by and collect !
Jonathan Keck: The cashier's office closed at 3:45 which was a bit of a drag, but overall the staff and officers were all very pleasant and helpful
Rodney Emery: S.M.I.B.
Junie B: The lady who did my finger rolling was very helpful & pleasent which was a total surprise compared to some of the other staff. Aside from service the interior of the building needs some remodeling & better decor.

Detroit Police Department Eighth Precinct: what do users think?
Eric Respress: DPD IS MY HEROES I LOVE THEM
Detroiter Girl: Love 💘 Detroit Police DepartmentGod bless you all. 🙏
Jackie Clipper: Still haven't heard back from the detective.
cleria Epperson: Awesome
Tiffany Riley: Poor service was there forever
Tashenna Williams: Great
Nekeishia Robles: The worst precinct I've ever dealt with. Called to report ID theft, no one answered from any line chosen. Even waited over an hour with no live person picking up the phone. Went in 2 months later and officer Harmon was extremely rude. Asked me why it took so long for me to come in. I told her that every time I called no one answered. She claimed that wasn't true because she personally spoke with me and knows my voice because she never forgets a voice. I told her multiple times that she was mistaken but she wanted to keep going back and forth. Then once I told her she may have spoken to someone that sounded like me, she turned to have a conversation with her 3 male coworkers to talk about someone's eyebrows. Made me wait on purpose. Then the officer that finally called has not returned my multiple calls with my open times to discuss my report for details. Worst precinct in Michigan.
Myisha Tolbert: The Officers are considerate.and will answer any questions or suggest who can.Its also good for safe place for ATM transactions if needed.
Kay Washington: This station a whole JOKE! Took them days to do something that would had took 5 mins. Ridiculous!
Waqas Nice: I went there to make a report and the lady I talked to was very cooperative and nice. I thank Detroit police for hiring nice people like her.
A R: Response time can be really slow but I understand the city of Detroit is always in need of officer assistance. Neighborhood police are generally helpful, professional and friendly once they do arrive. DPD however has been slow with updating their system that reflects when protection orders have been served.
Nur Mohammed: Great !!..
Tiera Sticks Jones: Moses is so sweet and kind. Parking is cool.
Diana Weronka: The lady I talked to on the phone today was rude when I told her the 6th precinct told me to call the 8th precinct she scoffed and had a nasty attitude.
Ben Hearns: Called about speeding cars on pembroke no response. Well if the police lived in detroit maybe they would care.
Ware She: Ms. Officer Draper who answered my calls was EXTREMELY rude on 2 different occasions.Put me on hold for 5 minutes, then hung up, when i called back she Talked over me, got loud & I never had my question answered?!No help at all - 8th precinct needs a new woman to handle their calls.THIS WOMAN WAS SERIOUSLY HORRIBLE TO SPEAK TO! She was miserable, hostile, loud, unhelpful & rude for no reason.
Grisel L-A: Very poor community policing. Transferred a community policing issue to an already burdened 9-1-1 who after 2 hours were still a no show.
Stacy Buchanan: Have left multiple messages for NPO Williams and have not gotten a single call back. I guess you have to be seriously injured or killed before they pay attention. Have lived here 25+ years and can't stand it anymore.NPO WILLIAMS don't bother calling me now..you are part of the problem here and that is why I am being forced to move.
Vincent Murad: Wow. What a mess. Detective Wright is the detective i dealt with in a case regarding destruction of property to our commercial business, and barely attempted to follow the case, even after we did most of her job for her (we located the address and names of the vandals, and included material footage of the event). Every time i called, she sounded like she didn't even open the file. After her 2 week vacation, she called us back and said that she knocked on their door and no one answered. Case closed. That's Detroit Police for you. And DPD never showed up to file the report, so it was filed over the phone a few days later. Sad excuse for a police department.

Detroit Police Department: what do users think?
Jeff Yates: Extremely untrained police officers and very dangerous to the public.
Nicholas James: Protect yourself, they won't.
Ass Man: They give away free snacks at the end of the day, some officers offer food to me sometimes but they would wink at me and say something like "we're going to protect and serve you~" which I find strange and I end up mostly declining their offer but other than that it's a pretty good spot to hang out and relax.
Katelyn Siano: A family member was taken by gunpoint and to multiple ATMs through out the city. Police said there was no proof of a crime and wouldn't let him file a report. Do not plan on police protecting you in this city.
A R: After diligently trying to reach Detective Upshaw in the Domestic Violence department (for a week)I was finally able to get a hold of him. Unfortunately once I did he began to openly rant about not wanting to be at work. He eventually printed documentation pertaining to my case and sent me on my way to the Coleman a Young City Council building. Once I arrived they notified me that a show cause hearing against my offender (he violated the order by stalking me and was arrested in my presence) was dismissed because I did not show up for the hearing.Imagine if detective Upshaw really did want to be at work...maybe I would have been given the information necessary to attend that hearing..?..?I'll also add that this is not my first encounter with detective Upshaw.A month ago I complained to the 8th precinct that my active ppo was not showing as served in their system although I had provided proof from the sheriff's department that the ppo was served. As a result of that I was contacted by detective Upshaw. He called me into his office only to ask me to have a seat as he looked into my inquiry. He reappeared 5 minutes later only to tell me that he showed that the ppo was active on his end (still not sure why he couldn't just tell me that on the phone.. very odd).Anywho.. Days later I get a call from him asking me did I meet him in office? He explained that he didnt complete his notes for my case so he was unsure. I verified my attendance, reviewed our conversation and ended the call...YOU CANT MAKE THIS STUFF UP..UNBELIEVABLE!
95060atl: Only serve to protect themselves. Crooked cops
Ashley Osantowski: Towed my car off of Woodward and Fisher after asking a Detroit police officer if we were legally parked and he said yes, Called the non emergency line asking for an officer to be dispatched that was an impossible task from the non emergency number, they informed me that there is another number but only gave me three digits before placing me on hold again, and refused to give the rest of the number. A serious inquiry needs to be made at the Detroit police station. I went above and beyond to make sure I was obeying the law when I made sure with the officer directing traffic, was misled, and now unable to retrieve my vehicle due to the disgusting ethics of the Detroit police station.
Juanita Tutt: Peaceful and quite
Leah Langlois: Last night after the Muse concert at Joe Louis Arena, there were approx. 80 Canadians standing at the bus stop outside Cobo Arena waiting for the Transit Windsor Tunnel Bus to pick us up and take us home. Waited for well over 2 hours for a bus that did not appear was ever going to come. A couple of cruisers from the DPD came by and checked on us, probably wondering what we were all doing out there at 1:00 a.m. While I was not part of the conversation, it appeared that one of your officers got in touch with Transit Windsor and let them know that they had a whole lot of people waiting out in the cold, and that they needed to send a bus to come and get us. We all ended up walking to the tunnel entrance and waited there for longer still, but FINALLY, bus showed up. Just wanted to extend a huge THANK YOU from a lot of cold, tired concert fans, for helping us to get home.
Jennifer Ramcke: The Detroit Police Department Museum is located on the 3rd floor. Really great Detroit history!
Khaled Al Horani: Nice building
nicol robinson: Very friendly.....
James J: Very nice building and the people are very polite

Detroit Police Department: what do users think?
Steven McClure: Rude and incompetent
Parker Smith: I was given the opportunity to do a ride along with them. Great group of people keeping the public safe. Stay safe out there.
Steva Slimino: WHY IS IT THAT THE CALLS TO 911 GOES TO VOICEMAIL????????????????!!!the worst people The worst police department in history..every time o leave work they are constantly by 711 like that where my tax money goes to the lazy cops ..the worst and most rudest female cop is a short fat lady with red hair she thinks she’s a man bc she act like one ...fire her asap she’s nothing but an embarrassment to the team ...she mean and disgusting with her attitude
Side Project: Straight to voicemail. Voicemail is full.
Prof.A.Solzhenitsyn: I was just walking by the river walk and some crazy lady (maybe in her late 30s) started screaming," I want my momma" several times and then she tried to jump in the water! I wasn't too sure if she was on drugs or not but me and 4 other guys jumped over the fence to prevent her from jumping into the water. One of the guys walked her to the police station for them to handle, I hope she gets better and finds help.
Tyler Barron: Terribly unhelpful and unfriendly. Made me regret filing a police report. Very cute cat named Jax, he was outgoing and friendly. 5 star rating for him.
will asper: Exactly what James said...crazy... Called multiple times; it just rang and rang, no one picked up, and then voicemail box was full it said....disgraceful
Lucas Odinson: Well don't try calling this number. Nobody answers, the voicemail is full and there is no attendant....
Mahesh R: Very rude reception area. I have no words to explain how bad they are.

Detroit Police Department Eleventh Precinct: what do users think?
Theresa Dodson: Two things: Does the 11th precinct have CIT trained officers, regarding mentally ill calls? If you are driving the "speed limit" on Nevada Avenue, BEWARE of a rogue officer(s) from the 11th precinct tailgating you because (as Senior Investigator told me, while taking my statement), "Police officers always suspect the driver is committing 'some type of illegal act,' if driving the speed limit. The reason is, alot of drivers do not drive the speed limit."I was tailgated by an police officer from(Nevada and Conant) to (Nevada and Fenelon Street). The vehicular harassment discontinued when the officer was 500 feet from the 11th precinct. I filed a police report. The Senior Investigator contacted me for a statement.I gave my statement, and I believe she was recording my statement, although she "did not state" my complaint was being recorded.I contacted the same Sr. Investigator after waiting 6 weeks for the results, and she stated my file was stacked "somewhere" on her desk with many other files. 4-5 weeks later, I received a letter stating "nothing" regarding what the officer said, if the officer was reprimanded, no name of the officer, nothing.I contacted the Senior Investigator's office, and she has not returned my call to explain why I received a generic letter regarding the vehicular harassment committed by whomever the officer was. The conclusion is, "The investigators at the Commission believed a lie the officer told them." All trust is GONE.I still have my original complaint, and I wrote down the conversation during my statement with the Chief Investigator verbatim for future reference, if needed. If I am harassed by a 11th Precinct police officer's vehicle again for driving the "speed limit"on Nevada Avenue, I will definitely hire an attorney. I should have listened the first time.I thought filing a complaint meant something. It is your words against a 11th precinct police officer's. And, you are not given a full report of what that officer said.Filing a police report will only be placed on a desk with several other reports, and another Investigator who knows nothing about your case will mail you a letter saying, "NOTHING" about a resolution to your valid complaint. Thanks for nothing, and I will keep all my documentations on file, and file a suit against DPD next time it ever happens.
Kimberly Edwards: Went to get items from my car and they said you must have an appointment.
Emily Anderson: Whoever answering the phones this morning is very rude. Nasty attitude way to early to be upset. If people don’t like they profession they should pick another on. So sad we depend on these people to protect and serve... 🤦🏽‍♀️
Ruby Wells: Officers Schlak and McCallum came out to my residence on an unknown dog situation, both were more than helpful and remained professional. Ofc. Schlak attempted to get the dog from my porch by coaxing him into the patrol vehicle, which was unsuccessful. They then informed me that animal control had been notified and remained on scene until they arrived. Once animal control arrived the animal was subdued and removed from my porch with much resistance. I felt hostage in my own home because the pit bull wouldn't allow me to exit the door(s). Thank you officers of the 11th Precinct! Names may be misspelled, but you know who you are.......
El Jireh: The police almost ran me over thiry minutes ago turning off seven mile just to point the car at me to use their magic wand to see if i was carrying a firearm. Try doing some real police work!
Spata: worst district and I can just write pages about my experience with this district. My home is being squatted and instead of their help they just gave me hard time why I bought and so forth . I called them while I was at the premise and they showed up after 1 hour 43 minutes after several calls. When they came by the premise, instead of going to the propery and asking the squatters for any papers, they got loud at me. I then went to the district. after I saw no help with the officers, I went to the district myself x4 to speak with the supervisor there and still got out empty handed with no help at all as I showed the copy of my deed and ownership papers. I indicated to them that the squatters in the home are armed and could be killed right there. Even though I mentioned to them (district 11) that the squatters are armed in the home, my story didn't seem credible to them and instead indicated to me that I could go to the squatters and take their personal stuff out because "we dont have enough personnel today" .This simply is an example of how detroit will never see any progress. I am saddened by their zero assistance.
Sherea Brown: The officers here are really pleasant. We had a bad situation where a vehicle was stolen and we had to make a police report. The officer handling our situation made sure he stayed on the phone with the appropriate department (rather than waiting for a call back) until we were able to get our report number.
Ess Cooper: Thank you platoon 3
Latrona Jackson: I hate them
Mz CHYNA: Staff is friendly and helpful. They have neighborhood events.
Billy iam: You guys don't wonderful job of the equipment you have keep up the good work because it is looking better
Dan Robinson Sr: Awesome officers
abdo fadhel: Police are very respectful
