Advantage Living Center Northwest: what do users think?
Elizabeth Spunar: The first day I was here, both of my debit card numbers were stolen. They managed to get $800 dollars from one of my accounts.  $500, then $300.  The other account only had around $35.00 so they were stopped.  I still don't have access to my accounts.I wanted to order a Walker because I was laughed at when I asked about physical therapy.   "My broken down wheelchair was my therapy " I was told. At least I could stand and walk.  I wasn't able to get a Walker or even order one.Next I had a pin that said "Hard of Hearing ".  It has not been found or replaced. Now I just lay in bed getting weaker.  I can only hope that help will come .There is a theft ring operating there. They stole my debit card numbers the same day I got there. Then, they actually stole my new debit card and activation code from my mail when they were packing me up to go to the Orchards of Armada. They used it the next day.It took a long time to get it all taken care of.I had to pay $10 to extend my due date for my phone bill until my new debit card arrives 🙃.
Melissa Rozier: Just GHETTO! Can't believe this place is open and running and these ppl are nurses, they can't have real degrees! Nasty attitudes, look like they just hire anyone who cant work in a real hospital. Negative 1 star. The workers are rating this place lol like cone on now.
Sherry Paszkowski: I recently stayed there for 10 days of quarantine because of Covid. I must say that I had a very pleasant experience staying here. The staff was so kind and caring. The food was good. They kept my room very clean. I would like to say an extra thank you to my favorite nurse Nina she was the greatest and 2 very caring CNA Kaitlyn and Tavia and Larita from housekeeping. They work so hard at making you feel welcome and comfortable. I would definitely recommend this facility to others.
Fruity Unicorn: Ghetto place full of ignorant, rude, and narrow minded staff staff. Supervisors will blame the new employees for stuff that the pervious staff had done. God forbid if you get into a disagreement with a staff member who been there longer than you. The supervisor will always listen to them and choose their side even what they did was wrong. Don't work here, seriously. Especially you not ghetto like any of these people here. They will sense that and bully you for it. This place barely have the important bare necessities to even take care of the residents. Barely have towels, soap, don't get me started on the food. House keeping always do stuff half way and let trash can over fill.
Vivienne Reviere: Great facility to work
Tynasha Skinner: Very friendly work environment!
sonya watkins: Northwest is the Greatest ,they give the best care, the staff is very friendly and caring, over the pass years I have had over 6 family member's in northwest for care ,and they will always hold a special place in our heart.
C.M.H: My sister and I recently sent our mom here and it is a very nice place! The admissions director was very helpful with providing us the necessary steps to take as well as the business office admin. All of the staff are nice, helpful, the place is very clean! So glad I found this place
D D Harris: The place looks very nice on the outside and in the lobby. It was the worst until I had a viewed inside. I made the mistake of sending my son there, where many falls and neglect happen After an inside visit I can't forgive myself.. The State made them fix it up.I am still grieving over my son's death that help to cause it
Karen Walker: Friendly staff who genuinely cares about the residents
Deborah James: The staff here is very loving and caring and loves the residents treats us with care the food isn't that good but they're getting better with the food choices.
Brenda Howard: This is a picture of my father's bed, If this place is as great as all those reviews are stating, it just maybe a lie.The staff broke his earring aid, took his tv out at night and broke then blamed him.The management team is horrible
Shay Lighten: Came here to visit my cousin. Never noticed this building in all the years I've visited over this way. The area is not welcoming however the building looks as if it is secure. Entering the facility felt like entering a jail on visiting day(I worked in a county jail). The building and mechanisms are old and outdated. The elevator made me feel uneasy and the walls are painted a dreary prison gray. Honestly it feels depressing. The residence seems clean until you get hit in the face with a strong odor of urine on ther 2nd floor. My cousin is being treated decent and he is given his meds so despite the gloomy feeling atmosphere, he is getting the care he needs. I always wonder how the pictures of places like this look immaculate on their website but different in person. I was asked not to take pictures.
Dushawn Burt: The staff makes you feel like your with family and friends, very caring people.
Aliyah Life: I am a fairly new employee as the infection prevention nurse everyone have been very supportive. Great staff and good patient care. I would recommend employment here.
Mary McPherson: I work at a place that can really challenging and stressful at times; the behaviors the struggles and ailments our residents suffer from; what I do know is with all adversities and obstacles we may face on a day to day basis, I work with a great team of people that makes it all worth it because we come together strong and finish on top always with commitment and determination and whole lot of love for our residents. if I had to place my love one it would definitely be at Advantage Northwest because I know first hand how much they care..Great Job Northwest You Guys Rock !!!!!!
Kristen Jones: ALC- Northwest is a Great place to work! The Nurses are knowledgeable and nurturing! It’ a pleasure to do what I love at such a wonderful facility! It was just what I was looking for!
duke s: I would like to thank the staff at Advantage Living Center, Northwest for showing great concern and love for my relative. You all were very knowledgeable about the medical attention that is needed to care for your patience. The facility was clean and nicely kept.Again thank you and continue to do great works.
Quita Pierre: I just want to thank the staff for their professionalism and attention to my needs. They were all very knowledgeable about the services your facility offered. I was a visitor in your facility and the staff was amazing, they took time to answer all my questions and concerns. I am very confident that my loved one would be in great hands. The facility was clean and tidy. I also enjoyed the layout of the building down to the modern look of the place. There was plenty of outside area. I was very impressed with the facilities emotional and physical stimulation activities for the residents. I would recommend this facility to anyone looking for somewhere to have their loved one in great hands.
Karen Moss: Wonderful place for employees and residents. I’ve been employed here for 9 yrs and I’ve had friends and family receive skilled care here. I’ve seen residents come on a stretcher and leave the facility ambulating. The success of a resident comes from great care from staff as well as a supportive family.
Cheryl stroud: although I am fairly new, my experience at advantage northwest has been good. we are a hard working team that put our residents first !!

Orchard Manor | Assisted Living in Farmington Hills MI: what do users think?
Florina B: If you're looking for a place where you want to have peace of mind, I recommend Orchard Manor for your loved one. The staff are CNAs with over 10 years of experience and the residents are treated with dignity and respect. The place is spotless and the food delicious and fresh. You won't regret going with Orchard Manor, I certainly dont.
Josephine Forskin: Your loved one will receive the best care at Orchard Manor. That serve homemade meals daily, keep the place sparking clean, and are attentive to the needs of each resident.
Ellen K. Finestone: Caring community in an immaculate and beautiful setting. So grateful to have Rodica and her staff taking care of our loved one.
Karen Blake: Orchard Manor in Farmington Hills one of the best place away from home for the the elderly thst needs a lotd help. The atmosphire is good they have a caring and friendly staff 24/7 at their facility.Orchard Manor its a best place for your loved one.
Gemini Stone: It has been a pleasure working at Orchard Manor it’s a very clean and well organized environment. The residents are treated like family and the care givers are awesome. A gentle word, a kind look and a good natured smile works miracles. It’s definitely a great place of work . Thank you 😊
Andrew Lawrence: I feel so lucky that my mother found Orchard Manor. It’s a huge relief for me to have her in a place so caring and safe.
Bill's Harley: Hi everyone. My name is Bill in March of 2020 I found myself in need of help as I had been taking care of my mom but became difficult for me. A social worker recommended this group home so decided to take a look. The moment I walked in I knew that this is the place for my mom. The staff are absolutely great! The home is very clean and they have sensors on doors to alert if someone is entering or existing.Rodica who owns 2 homes altogether is warm and friendly. I would highly recommend this place if an opening should arise.Thank you Orchard Manor. 😊
JJ flow: I was looking for a assisting living for my grandmother... I went through Fruit of Spirit Placement agency!!! Fruits of the spirt recommended for grandmother to look at this place and she thought this home was so beautiful and clean.
Kathy Marshall: I have treated patients at Rodica's home and I have known her and her family for many years. She provides exceptional care to all of her residents and families. She is a registered nurse, and her skills allow her to provide for a higher level of assessment and care for her residents. Her standards are high when she hires caregivers and unlike most facilities she personally orients and trains them. As a provider I truly enjoy working with Rodica and her staff, they are the very best example of compassionate caregivers
Frank Wales: I was made aware of Orchard Manor in January 2014 when I needed to find a good home for my father. I told the people that were assisting me in finding placement that I wanted a home between Harper and Woodward (east to west), and between 11 mile and Hall Road (south to north). Even though Orchard Manor was much further West than I wanted, when I met and talked to Rodica I felt confident that she is a caring person. I wrote a check that day and scheduled the move. My father was in her care from January 2014 to August 2019. She welcomed my input to my father's care including medications, dosage and adding vitamins. These were implemented with Rodica's and the doctors written approval. The last two years of my father's life he was bedridden and needed total care including feeding and changing. My father never had any skin problems, no rashes, no wounds and no bed sores (pressure ulcers). He always was dressed and ate in the dining room with the other residents.I still keep in contact with Rodica and her family because she is not just a RN that owns a nursing home, she became family.
Joan McG: The Orchard Manor provided a homey setting. The limited number of residents meant individual attention and care The wonderful staff was caring, competent and kind. It was as close to being at home as possible. I would highly recommend it for care of a loved one.Joan McGlincy
Dragos Blindu: I personally know the owners. They are a team of amazing people!
Ricki Veneziano: This was the first home that my sister and I looked at for my mom and we were very pleased with what we saw. Still, we looked at eleven other places before choosing Orchard Manor. It was the right decision! We were impressed with the spaciousness and cleanliness of the home. Everything looked new. Orchard Manor has a beautiful backyard deck with an abundance of flowering plants. My mother loves being outdoors, and at Orchard Manor, she can sit on the deck and read while enjoying the open view and colorful flowers. My mother is in a wheel chair and the large areas make it easy for her to navigate. She really likes having her own bedroom and half bathroom. My mother uses oxygen and gets daily nebulizer breathing treatments. Rodica is thoroughly familiar with all of this, which has been a godsend. Another family member at a large senior facility needed oxygen and very few caregivers knew how to use the equipment. It was a nightmare! The owner, Rodica, is very conscientious. She has called us, regardless of the time of day, when she has concerns about my mother’s well-being. Her nursing background is a bonus. The caregivers help my mother with activities of daily living and take a personal interest in her needs. She always looks well groomed. One of the caregivers makes appetizing home cooked meals.I am a retired R.N. who has worked for a home care agency and I feel very comfortable with my mother residing at Orchard Manor and would recommend it to others.
Diane Thurner: I am so happy we found this wonderful place for my sister. The atmosphere is like home and her needs are taken care of above and beyond what I could hope for. Staff works with her. She is always clean and neat. Home cooked meals and an open dining area. Rodica's professional and skilled nursing care is wonderful.
Loren Zeidman: From the moment my wife, sister and I walked into Orchard Manor we knew that this was the right place for our father. I can’t say enough good things about Rodica and her staff. If you have a loved one who is near the end of life I highly recommend you look into Orchard Manor
Joseph Polocoser: The home is always clean, well-staffed, smells good, beautifully decorated. The home is in Tip-Top shape with amazing staff and amenities. Everyone is very welcoming, and the service you get with this home is of high-quality and rare to see! Highly recommended!
Cindy Borton: We moved my mother into Orchard Manor from a corporate owned big facility April of this year. What a huge difference, mom is clean, all her needs being addressed by caring, loving staff. Because there are only 6 residents the staff really has a opportunity to know their patients, which is wonderful because mom has dementia. The home (yes a home in a neighborhood, not a building in a business district) was designed and built specifically for caring for infirmed people: wheelchair accessible throughout, wider doorways, no thresholds, one level, open concept living/kitchen/dining areas, beautiful large deck, landscaping, in addition, the home is meticulously clean & landscaping is beautiful. The owners are caring & registered nurses, they also know all their patients, so they know when something isn't right - they give us a heads up. They work with several home healthcare & hospice companies. Mom needed to be hospitized, the nursing & social worker staff at the hospital told us that she has been taken care of very well, she was cleaner than they see often. We couldn't be happier with mom's care. ♥️
Ken Pettibone: We went to talk to the owner and check the home out before committing my dad to live here. The place is designed specifically for home care. It's very very nice with an open kitchen and living room (and bonus points for the deck on back). The owner (Rodica) is a registered nurse and is a very caring and organized care giver who is there often herself. A lot of the food is home made and the ladies working there are very attentive to the patient's everyday needs.
Julie Dron: The owner of this senior care home is a Nurse which sets her apart ,you know that your loved one will receive the best medical attention. The care that is provided at Orchard Manor is amazing right to the last detail. The home is beautifully decorated and the landscaping is prestine. I high recommend placing your parents or grandparents in this place.😃
Michelle Varvaroi: Beautiful Home, inside and out. VERY clean, and all the staff is wonderful..! They sure know what their doing, and all the elderly is taken care of, beyond great.!!.. I highly recommend this home, to anyone looking for a home for their loved ones..

nita Campbell: My mother has been in 3 Adult Foster Care Homes since 2014, and this was the best home that she lived in thus far.The owner is such a sweetheart, and her staff was great! Unfortunately my mother was relocated because of the change of her medical insurance and I wish my mother could go back there.

Woodhaven Retirement Community: what do users think?
Catherine Niland: I am writing to thank all the staff at the Woodhaven Retirement Community for the wonderful and compassionate care provided to my mother Santa Maria Fredette. My mother was a resident of the Woodhaven Retirement Community since November 2018. She passed away peacefully on April 11th, 2023.Please share my heartfelt thank you with all those involved in the care of my mother as I am grateful for the excellence of the services provided to her. It has given my great peace of mind to know that she was safe and comfortable and all her needs were quickly met. I can’t thank you enough for the compassion and care provided by everyone at the Woodhaven Retirement Community.Catherine Niland
Marie Airoldi: I can’t say enough about Woodhaven’s care & facility. My mom became a resident while healing from a broken back, age 92. A very well run & clean facility inside and out. Had the pleasure of working with a lot of people on my mom‘s care team. Respectful, knowledgeable, and very caring. I recommend this facility to anyone looking for top notch care for a loved one, whether temporary or permanent. Many thanks to all staff! Our family is grateful!
Matthew Ritzler: Don’t walk away from this place you need to run from this place as fast as you can for your loved ones sake. The care given to my grandma was pretty good while she was doing good at this facility. The care greatly went downhill when she was put on hospice. This place is not where you want to be if you’re on hospice, believe me! During her final days, it was very tough to find any employee that knew what they were doing, and they seemed incompetent. There were a select few employees that were great until the very end. I feel sorry they have to work at a facility like this. Once my grandma passed away my family was shocked that not a single administrator from this facility, reached out in any such way to say they were sorry for our loss. It seems like all they’re concerned about is getting your money.UPDATE!!!!!The director of the facility contacted me after posting this review and he is looking into my concerns.
linda stonier: I really wanted to leave a good review. Some of the staff were very kind to us and accommodating during some of the darkest hours of our lives. But the lack of compassion at the very end was shocking! I know most of the staff wanted to get rid of us because we were there all the time and constantly bothering them. But I never thought anyone ( especially a nurse)could be so cold when you have a family that just witnessed their loved one die before their eyes . She treated my mom who was lying there next to us dead with very little dignity. I think the worst past was when we were sitting in the lounge area and she passed by us and waved and said “bye” almost in a taunting way (good riddance kind of thing). She never even acknowledged our loss or grief. Someone that is that cold hearted should not be in a profession if they don’t have compassion or empathy. I know that there will be some raving reviews that will flood in after this so mine won’t be the first someone sees. Please know that they are manufactured reviews so they can keep a higher rating. It’s really a shame. There were some staff from the previous night shift who were kind and comforting to us and we really did appreciate that.
Beverly Golec: Woodhaven has been my mom’s safe haven for the past five years. She has been cared for physically, mentally, and spiritually and we are blessed to know that she is safe and loves her home.SincerelyBev Golec
Steve Balint: The staff are professional and very friendly. They offer many activities to keep residents active.
Carol Welty: This not a place to pass off your loved ones to be taken care of…this THE place to invest your loved ones to be nurtured, watched over, cared for and loved. These folks are not staff, but servants at heart, and friends who are so valued and appreciated. Thank you team for loving on our Mom, Grand-mom, and Great Grand-mom!
Eileen: My husband, Matt, has been in Assisted Living at Woodhaven for almost a year. He receives very good care from the Nurses and Aides. He is mostly bed bound, so he doesn’t make it to the Dining Room for meals or activities very often. He enjoys all the visits from the Activities Staff who always stop by to say Hi! or bring treats, puzzles or reading materials. He enjoys most of the meals very much, especially soups, desserts and various ethnic foods. He is not always in the best of moods, but I truly appreciate the care and attention he is given, especially since Covid changed our world and made life much more difficult. You are ALL Heroes!!!
Craig Jones: My Mom has been a resident at Woodhaven Assisted Living for 4 years now. She loves her apartment there. The staff and aides are the best. Very caring and attentive. Thank you all for taking such good care of her!
ashley arrambide: Our experience with Woodhaven Retirement has a been very good. Mom has resided in the Memory Care Unit, but now just goes to their every day adult care where we know she is safe and looked after. They love her and we know she is in good hands.
David J. Kramer: This is a superb establishment that cares about its residents. It’s also run by a Christian owner who cares about people. Kudos
Janet Horton: I am a retired RN and 4 years ago I was looking for an assisted living facility for my 94 year old Aunt. I looked at many facilities and chose Woodhaven Retirement Community. I am so glad I did. She has now been living there for these past 4 years. She has lived in the Assisted Living area, the Skilled Care area (Health Services) and is now living in the Enhanced Assisted Living area (Memory Care). She has had many changes in her condition throughout the years and Woodhaven has been able to accommodate all of her needs along the way. The staff members have all been great. They know how to work with the elderly resident population very well. The dietary staff is also very professional. They take pride in their work and get to know the food likes and dislikes of each individual resident. As a bonus – the food is excellent! The administrative staff is extremely responsive to any issues that need to be handled at a higher level, and are wonderful at making suggestions to make your loved one’s stay more pleasant and personal. Even the Housekeeping and Laundry service personnel l are exceptionally meticulous in their work and very respectful to the residents. I could not be happier with the choice to move my Aunt to Woodhaven and I would not have any problem recommending Woodhaven to anyone who is looking for any level of living for their loved one.
Cristina Sousa: This place is atrocious. They don’t require their staff to be vaccinated against Covid 19. Incredibly idiotic for health care workers to expose our most vulnerable ppl in society to covid. Aside from the gross mismanagement of this place and the rampant incompetence the staff are incredibly unethical to a negligent degree. If you have any love for your family member, do NOT leave them here.
Chloe Mertz: I Loved visiting here while my grandma Garver was there
C L: The Staff are very friendly. We come here for the Adult Day Care. The office hours could open at 7 am instead of 8 am. This place deserves 5 stars.
ANS: Exceptional care and environment. Light years ahead of most others in the Livonia/Farmington Hills area. I highly recommend it. Go in person and start the process early. There is a wait to get into this facility.
Ricky Eldido: Wonderful amenities
Candice Cubba: The nursing staff was wonderful. Most aids were great, but keep your eyes open. There are a few who can’t be trusted. Stay on top of everything. The place is clean the food ok.The director doesn’t seem to be on top of things. Would rather believe the staff than the patients or advocates. The most important thing I would stress is they have a cold heartless doctor. He doesn’t read the advocates directions. He takes it upon himself to decide what your loved one needs. I still to this day feel he overdosed my mom with morphine. Granted she was sick. He had orders not to change her meds without conferring with me. He proceeded to give her morphine without even a call. He stole my mom and I having a final talk. My mom was very much with it right to the end. No one explained anything to me. I finally asked for her records. Beware of Dr. Nandish. That’s all.
Carolyn Craig: Beautiful ..... very kind Staff
Destinie Brown: I've worked at many nursing homes while being a CNA and I have to say that this was the only one the consistently kept supplies, linen, events for staff and thorough meetings to better the environment of not only the staff but the residents we care for. Janet is constantly progressive and wants new ways to improve the facility and I appreciate that because that means she listens to our opinions and thoughts. Rarely did I feel stressed enough to not give a resident a smile because the team felt supportive enough to help and that's definitely decreases CNA burn out (which has happened A LOT for me).
Susan Share: Woodhaven Retirement Community is a wonderful place! My Mom has been there for almost a year. I can't say enough about the great care and compassion she receives from everyone at Woodhaven. From the management team, who knows her by name, to the excellent care provided by the nurses and caregivers. I would recommend this place to all my friends, co-workers and family.

St Anne's Mead Assisted Living | Nursing Care | Memory Care: what do users think?
Virginia Fitzgerald: St. Anne's Mead was a blessing for our family. The care my mother received here was excellent. The staff, from the nurses to the custodians, was kind, friendly, reliable, respectful and helpful. My mother's needs were many, and she was near the end of her life. She was able to end her life in peace here.
Shanta Jones: Truly a great place to work at loved my residents upper management is very cool long as your honest if I could come back here and work I would
Forest Hudson: Wonderful place!!!
Tim Moran: Our mother lived in the Memory Care unit of the Mead for the final six months of her life. Her dementia and confusion were significant, but the staff at every level stepped up magnificently to preserve her health and her dignity. Each time we visited unannounced we found her well-dressed, her hair combed and brushed, and she was always in active areas with other residents of the unit. We had great communication from people in both nursing and social work, and any time we needed to be in touch for any reason we had quick responses with genuine care and concern. Despite the strictures imposed by Covid-19 and the limitations it put on 'normal' parts of visiting we were able to be with her in her room and we never felt unwelcome. The facility was spotless and they made every effort to make her feel truly at home, from hanging her personal art on the walls to organizing her clothing and books for her. We saw the careful kindness extended to every resident of the unit as well. Hospice was carried out for our mother there, and the staff did absolutely everything they could to make her final days quiet and loving, even bringing in an iPad to play the classical music she always loved. The Mead is a genuinely caring place where the good of the residents is their primary concern. It may not have the flashy finishes and front-of-house amenities that some long-term care places show off, but its heart is solid gold.
patti fraley: staff is very attentive to all the residents needs. Daily activities for all. I will use this facility for my family members.
Sheila Brice: For over four years my Mother has been an Assisted Living resident and continues to benefit from the high quality personal care she receives each day and evening. She greatly enjoys the variety of delicious & nutritious meals. The family and she appreciate the fine job from the housekeeping team that keeps all safe and secure. My Mother values not having to deal with elevators and together we are grateful to walk outside often and enjoy the lovely grounds.
Fred Capaldi: My father lived at St. Annes' for nearly 7 years. The staff treated him like he was their father. They were always very attentive, caring, concerned and we never worried about Dad because we knew he was in good hands. We often ate with Dad and I must say the food was excellently prepared, tasty and varied to accommodate the residents' needs.I've often said, if I had to be in this type of environment, this would be my choice.
Sharon Levine: My mother lived here for two months shy of SEVEN years in nursing. No one lives that long in any nursing, but at St. Anne's Mead, the care is above and beyond amazing. The love and nurturing they gave her every day was obvious in the wonderful life she had. My father visited with her twice a day and once he stopped driving only once a day; but each day he was treated with the such kind respect and love as well. He was made to feel that they were both part of the family.Unfortunately his health declined, as he had stage 4 lung cancer and needed the full-time care they provided, and the final 10.5 weeks of his life he joined my mother. St. Anne's Mead made it possible to allow for both my parents to spend their final days living together for the first time in 9.5 years. My father passed away this past December 30th and 10 days later, on January 9th my mother join him.St. Anne's Mead not only allowed both of them to live their dreams together, they were there holding our hands and crying along side us, as we had to say our good-byes to my cherished parents. They are family and St. Anne's Mead is our home (away from home).I will forever be grateful for the amazing care, kindness and love they have given both of my parents. The got the perfect care; something that is very hard to say today about most of these places. Most are facilities; St. Anne's Mead is home.
Come In Get Diva'Licious Certified: I didn't want to give them 1 star but had to in order to write a review. Please do not send your love ones here, they mistreat the seniors, give them wrong medication if they give it to them at all. A horrible place to send your loves too, what appear to be a nice place to move my grandpa too was all fake, lies and a big cover up!!! This place needs to be shut down!!!!
John Truitt: The staff became family. They took such good care of mom. My visits where often and random. I was always greated warmly. The staff interaction with the residents was always great. The staff interacted with family very well. Family members have direct access to management including the ED. The negative reviews here puzzle me. The food is 90 to 95 fresh. Not Gordon's reheated. The cost is below market. It is the right number of residents. Every effort was made for religious accommodations. Mom's passing was there surrounded by family and the staff. They where so respectful of this sacred time. It is so different a non profit faith based organization vs. The for profit places. A good number of the staff have been there 10 plus years. In summary we became partners for mom care. I could sleep at night knowing she and all the residents where cared for. I am forever grateful for this place its people and their mission.
Lynn Good: Went to visit a couple seniors here and it just so depressing and dark and dingy. I certainly wouldn't want to be put in here
Denise Rodgers: I don't know where these people have their loved ones, (those with the bad reviews), because it couldn't possibly be St. Anne's Mead. My mother has been there for more than two years. She is well treated and cared for by a loving staff. I am grateful she is safe and in a facility small enough that everyone knows her name. Also, the staff is respectful of people of all faiths. I absolutely recommend St. Anne's Mead!
Alice Wainwright: The Staff is disrespectful of the various religious faiths of the residents and the residents are not allowed by the staff and management ti have the services of their faith. Religious services are disrupted by the staff on a weekly and daily basis. The staff does not cooperate with the activities department in getting the residents to and from various activities.
Schuyler Lifschultz: These guys know how to party!

Royal Oak Assisted Living: what do users think?
jazmin ivery: Very nice community! Breanna the caregiver is very nice. The residents are very nice. I’m glad I picked up a shift here.
lisa ray: I guess it is nice. Never been there. My father in law was well liked but now that he has passed we can not obtain his prrsonal items. They said tgey talked to me while i was there, i have NEVER set foot inside tgeir building. I may have to involve lawyers and police. So sad
Susan Cahill: While I'm happy (and surprised), to see that others had a good experience at Royal Oak House, we absolutely did not. Staff almost always ignored the call button, they made a medication "mistake" that had my mom on an antipsychotic medication for a month before i caught the error,(the state cited them for a violation for this), laundry wasn't done, wounds were not tended to, and I ended up removing her from the facility when the double pneumonia she had developed went unnoticed by the staff and was only addressed when i called their attention to her labored breathing and elevated temperature. So, if you do decide to give Royal Oak House a try, here are a few bits of advice.1. Get a copy of every piece of paper you sign.2. Do not use their house doctor or pharmacy, if at all possible. You may provide your loved one's medications, as long as they are blister-packed. If your pharmacy doesn't offer this service, order blister packs online.3.If you must use their pharmacy, do not set it up for auto-pay. Have the bill sent to you, so that you may monitor what they are administering and charging you for. We were billed for many things my mom didn't need or use.4 Nanny cam. From Day One. The only way to get the real story.Best of luck to you and your loved one.
Bonnie Pioch: My mother lived there her last 2 years and was treated like a princess! She loved the activities, nurses, staff and we couldn't have been happier. Once she needed Hospice, the people of Assured Hospice were equally wonderful. Karen and her crew were fantastic - HIGHLY RECOMMEND
Saurav Sahore: The facility is great! The level of care is excellent. The staff is great and very friendly.
judy davids: The staff at ROH takes wonderful care of our mother. They are all very friendly and treat our mom like gold. The facility is clean and the food for residents is always delicious.
Guillermo DeLaFlor: I think the residents and staff are all great. I love them all!
B K M: Staff is wonderful and helpful. I couldn't be happier that the care and attention my grandfather received.
nikkimonae b: I am an employee at ROH, I love everything about this place, from my boss, to the building, the food, the best residents, I mean this place is just beautiful. I've been a CENA since 2002 and this is the best place I have ever worked. I'm so proud to be a part of this team....
Jen M: We moved my mother into Royal Oak House Assisted Living and Memory Care in July of 2018. We are very happy with the care she’s receiving. Management and support staff really listen and do all they can to accommodate resident and family needs. ROH opened in April of 2018, this is NOT American House, totally new owner and staff and facility was completely remodeled. Everything is sparkling clean and brand new. From care techs to housekeeping to kitchen crew, everyone is kind, respectful and approachable. Everyone is willing to listen and do what they can to make residents and family members feel safe and comfortable. We visit daily at least twice a day and we have never walked into an unpleasant surprise. Any small problems we’ve had have been immediately addressed and rectified. I would highly recommend this facility. The locations is fantastic too, just North of downtown Royal Oak. Always plenty of safe secure parking and you have 24/7 access to your loved one. The best thing about ROH is that the staff truly cares about their residents. They go above and beyond to offer kind and compassionate care. When we say goodnight and leave in the evening, we don’t worry once home. We know our cherished family member is safe and in good hands.
Linda Toppo: We recently moved our brother to Royal Oak House for rehab purposes. The staff at this facility have been amazing! Attentive, caring, and well trained! They have not only helped with physical therapy, but also make sure he is involved in activities.Plus, the food is so good that our brother is eating more and gaining strength as a result! We want to thank Karen, Sheila, Rachel (PT) and all of the wonderfully involved personnel at Royal Oak House!!
Dee nunya: I have been working at Royal Oak House for 3 months and have never had such caring co-workers. They all go above and beyond to help the residents. If one department is in need of assistance they are all willing to help each other out.
Ruth Goldner: I have been so impressed by the work that Karen and here team have done at Royal Oak House. It is a beautiful facility and the food is outstanding. It is clear that they really care about their residents, and everyone who works here is warm and kind.
Linda Smith: I enjoyed my tour and lunch. The food here is the best with lots of variety in meals. The wait staff are very friendly and kind. Thank you Karen.
Deb Olszewski: This facility is newly reopened with a new staff and management. I recently moved a family member into assisted living. They have been extremely helpful during this difficult transition. The facility is lovely and reasonably priced in this market. The staff has gone out of their way to keep me informed and make sure she is safe and happy.
