Meghan Naif: MetroEHS has been an amazing experience for my son. He started when he was 4, having only said maybe 5-10 words. He’s been coming here for almost a year now and is speaking pretty fluently. He loves coming and loves working with Caylin and Cassidy at the Dearborn Heights office. Everyone in the reception area is wonderful, the scheduling is very flexible and they’re super accommodating with payments. I would recommend this place to anyone with kids who need speech therapy. They’ve all been wonderful.

My son used to refuse to even allow food near his mouth or even smell and only drank a bottle. But after therapy services here, he’s eating everything we are and more. He gets excited when its time for therapy and loves it here as well. Today was his last day here and he was upset because he really enjoyed seeing his occupational therapist and spending time with her. I definitely recommend this place and am thankful to them as well. Thank you Abby and everyone who worked with him as well!

Amal Taleb: Jocelyn at metroEHS Parkside in Dearborn heights is amazing! My son loves going to speech therapy because of her. She makes the session so fun and my son who’s a teenager actually looks forward to his appointments. I already notice improvement after only 3 sessions! Ryan who helps with scheduling is super friendly and honestly all the staff in the building welcome us with a smile. I love the professionalism but mostly I love the sincerity and kindness I see around the building with the kids.

Da Yungz: This is the worst experience I have had with working professionals in quite some time. I scheduled an evaluation for my daughter, only to be told after the evaluation was complete there was one spot available to continue treatment. This timeslot conflicted with work and school schedules and was not discussed prior to the evaluation. I told them it was not fair and did not want to pay for the visit. They billed my insurance anyway. I would recommend asking all questions before scheduling anything and getting everything in writing before you waste your time coming in.

Josh Gelvin: We were hoping to find a location that actually cares. We have been struggling with a 15 year old newly diagnosed autistic child. All of the specialist recommend ABA therapy. We wait and wait to be told this location cannot help and she does not need the therapy they offer but mental health therapy which we have already pursued and been recommended to this location. Yet turned away because they claim the services they offer will not help. More like they are too incompetent and unwilling to help. If they have to do more than minimal work you are not worth their paycheck.

Amanda Richardson: My son had his very first appointment with this office to do an evaluation. That was September 11. In October I called and they said they were having trouble with insurance. They said I'd get a call back by the following day and that I would get a follow up call to see how the last appointment went. I still haven't heard back from them. So unprofessional. So disappointing.

During these past 9 months of trying to rehabilitate my wrist and hand, I have worked with SEVEN different PTs/OTs. Kurt is, by far, the most professional, and the most effective person with whom I have worked. He explains everything thoroughly, he answers all my questions, and he has given me confidence and HOPE. I can not say enough about how much he has helped me. I will be forever grateful to him and Dr. Singer.

matt norden: The 2 main therapists i worked with were Kurt, and Jamie. Both people had great "bedside maner" and clear knowledge of their job. No rehabilitation is physically comfortable, but they made it mentally and emotionally comfortable, and that makes the physical discomfort more tolerable.

Gwendolyn Smith: With the skill and expertise of Kurt Kruger and some of the crew at Motus, it made a most devastating injury to me a cross I was able to carry. Demonstration technique and of course adherence to Kurt's instructions for home care made a great difference in how I was able to handle pain, position, and gave me a better outlook to my healing. Alice Bate: My hand was trapped in an elevator over the summer causing me to need PT. I came to Motus (Dearborn) to receive treatment for a few months and I can’t say enough wonderful things about this place. The office staff is friendly, the facility is clean, they are following all covid guide lines. Most importantly the physical therapists are AMAZING. I had Kurt for my entire treatment. He is very experienced, caring, knowledgeable, listens to everything. I was kinda nervous about PT from some horror stories from other people who had bad experiences other places but Kurt and the whole Motus staff exceeded my expectations. I’m all healed now, but unfortunately my son fractured his ankle. He is currently in treatment at Motus with Lucy. She is just as fantastic as Kurt. She’s don’t such a great job with his treatment and goes the extra mile. She is funny and full of life & almost makes it fun for my son I want to say. I would never go anywhere else for any of my physical therapy needs. Thank you so much Motus for providing such excellent care for me & my family.

Nicole MacDonald: I've been extremely happy with my time at Motus Rehab. This was my first experience with physical therapy so I was not sure what to expect. I have been greeted with friendly faces and treated with respect since I walked through the door. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and will get you where you need to be by pushing you to keep pushing yourself, explaining how your injury has affected your movements and muscles, and by showing you what you can do on your own to recover. I know I would not be where I am in my recovery without the staff at Motus Rehabilitation. They made physical therapy enjoyable for me by reminding me to be patient while I get back to my normal and to celebrate my successes no matter how little they may be. I highly recommend Motus Rehabilitation for all of your physical therapy needs!!

Kaylee Murray: The staff are always very friendly, the clinic is very clean! My husband tore 5 tendons and cut his artery. We were devastated, and didnt think he would gain function, within 2 months his therapist worked wonders! He has gained function and can use his hand really well, we are still working on strengthening but its hardly noticeable. I will always recommend Kurt at Motus! He is always very friendly and gives us exercises to work on at home, he is very Knowledgeable and has great techniques! He really cares about his patients and puts the time and effort into thier rehabilitation. Im so thankful for Kurt and and for all the work he has put into helping my husband return to his normal life!

Bridget Smith-Botos: Here's the thing with physical therapy- you have to do the work. You also need a physical therapist that works hard for you. Stephanie was my third Physical Therapist for a hip issue and the first one who actually figure out what was going on. She customized a treatment plan to me as an individual. She even employed creative techniques to help improve my mobility. I appreciated that she constantly modified my plan as I improved.

Deborah Nappo: Team Rehab is the best. I went there after I had joint replacement surgery on my great toe. I could barely walk without pain and I missed going for walks in the park. My therapist was Maria and she was great. She made a plan for me and helped me every step of the way. All of the staff were awesome, pleasant, encouraging and very helpful. Paulette Hemphill: I have been a patient/client of this facility a few times. My exprience has always been wonderful. The rehabilitation specialists and the staff are awesome! As soon as you walk in they make you feel special. They make you work for your progress and they measure the progress to make sure it is working.I have been to other rehabilitation specialists where they are afraid to touch you personally. Team rehabilitation specislists make sure your body's muscles, ligaments, bones etc. are in alignment to progress and heal with massage and manually feeling the area of your injury.The staff always work with you regarding your appointments. It is always with a positive attitude. They go out of their way to make it work.They are caring, knowledgeable, responsive and effective! If I ever need any rehabilitation I will be at this Team Rehabilitation location.

Khaled Grizz: Today marks exactly nine months since I horribly broke my humerus. Today was my last day of working with team rehab on getting back on track. For about 8 months these wonderful people helped me get my arm back to work and I am 100% back. I've also watched them help other people heal wonderfully.I hope no one ever gets hurt, but if you unfortunately do, this place will get you back on track, and with many laughs too.PS: They gave me a really cool shirt on my last day.

Belinda Bobo: This has to be the best rehab I have been to. The staff was amazing. They make sure to address you by your name.. how the heck they remember all these names lol. My therapist was Eli(Eliana) super nice sweet ...very caring ...I’ve seen her go out her way for patients. She has killer hands ( I mean that in the nicest way possible). Sad that I have to go but the whole team is absolutely fab. If your looking for a place where you feel comfortable and safe this is the place to be.

Yashua _Child: I have been going to Team Rehabilitation Physical Therapy for more than six months and I must say this clinic is ridiculous. As an African American, I know first-hand how it feels to be discriminated against and receive unfair treatment because of my race. This clinic does not provide appropriate treatment for African American clients. African American clients are left alone on machines without supervision from their assigned therapists. My therapist was Ellie (Eliana). This therapist did not take my injuries seriously. I was thrown into therapy, without being informed about a treatment plan. I complained to the supervisor, Rebecca, about how I was not satisfied with the treatment plan because it did not include 1 on 1 therapy. I also explain that I was not receiving the same treatment as other clients (of a different race). My complaint was not taken seriously. Rebbeca refuses to make adjustments to my treatment plan because she holds racial beliefs towards African American clients. After reporting this issue, Rebecca responded "Oh, I thought you were a nice person" and "And if you do not see improvement then it because of your age". I explained to her my age and being a nice person has nothing to do with me receiving 1on1 therapy. The therapist work on my knees for less than ten minutes. She tells me to do several different exercises, but when a Caucasian client come in for therapy, the therapist work on the patient legs for half an hour to an hour. I have seen this since I been going there. My therapist spends more time talking about her boyfriend and traveling adventure, that she failed to take care of her clients. She is not professional. The supervisor let this therapist do whatever she wants. I tried to be nice. I bought everyone gifts for Christmas to show my appreciation (before I notice subtle racism practices). Rebecca gave my gift away to another employee… But she accepts liquor from a client without any hesitation. This clinic is unprofessional. Please do not go here!On a good note, I enjoyed all the Arabic staff, they were very professional! I would recommend them, hands down.

Mandee Ordaz: My ten yr. Old son and I have been to several therapy clinics around the area since he was 2 yrs. Old. I love the intimate, small setting that is easily accessible (in and out) and the set-up here. He loves the swings and ball pit and toys here- it is very well equipped to maintain his interest! The play based approach is proving very successful as well! It's not aversive- he's just doing what he loves to do but Jessica knows exactly how to help his brain make connections. I've seen improvements after only 3 sessions!

Monica Leibson: Everyone here is AMAZING! They are a WEALTH of knowledge. When your child has issues all you want is someone to understand it, be able to explain it, and have a course of action. They do exactly that. And they work as a team so my son had to do occupational therapy AND speech therapy for a little while and it was great to see the practitioners working together. We have since graduated but I still e-mail them from time to time with questions and they are SO helpful. So grateful places and people like these are available to support the next generation of kiddos.

Andre Gilbert: I had a terrible experience as soon as I entered the door to reception. I only wanted to collect my mother's referral form that she called ahead of time to get. I was not greeted by the gentleman upon entering. He didn't even look at me when I said good morning. He only pointed at the sign in sheet with his pen. I found this to be very rude. How did he know I had an appointment, which I did not. I was then left to wait for almost 10 minutes, and the whole time the receptionist never acknowledged me or inquired as to why I was even there. I shudder to think how my mother would have been treated if the front office is that rude and neglectful and one cannot help but wonder if the back office staff is just as rude. I'm glad she decided not to use their services. I understand that workers at the front office have to deal with terrible people sometimes, but that does not give anyone the right to treat others in a disrespectful manner.

Vernice Alexander: I went to Athletico for physical therapy related to a knee injury. My first visit was a consultation and I paid my deductible. I completed 5 sessions. Weeks later I received a bill saying I owe for a service while they completed my consult. After consultation we scheduled my appointment times and days. They charged me for a service they had not discussed with me. I wrote and emailed the billing company saying I was charged for a service without my approval. A representative for Athletico in the GM building called and threaten me and she said I better pay. If anyone is planning to complete Rehabilitation with this company make sure they explain and get your permission to provide a service. This company is not truthful. They have shady billing practices. Ask questions or just find another Rehabilitation facility and save yourself the headache. Don't do business with the Athletico in the GM building or downtown facility.

I worked primarily with Nichole who is incredibly knowledgable and employed various treatments to help with my knee pain (e.g., resistance bands, cupping, massaging). I graduated from my sessions feeling a lot stronger and confident in my body's capabilities.

They tracked results from start to finish so we could measure the changes over time from when I came in to when I ended. They even gave me recommendations for how to help the team I coach with injury prevention. Top tier.

They make you feel like you are part of the family which helped me feel more comfortable after dealing with chronic knee and back pain for so long. Ahmed Zindani: Was told I only needed 4-5 weeks of PT for a proper diagnosis of my progress and my knee’s overall condition to get an MRI. I was also told that my insurance would cover everything. Turns out I was being charged $80 per visit and I would only be there for about an hour every visit. My knee felt worse by week 4 and a few days in and I let them know I couldn’t continue PT because I felt like my knee was only getting worse although I trusted that it was normal to feel the discomfort. I didn’t find out I was being charged until week 4 of my visits and at that point I was disappointed that I was paying so much only to be in more pain. I called my PCP and they said that I was discharged by the PT that I was seeing because I stopped too soon. I felt betrayed and lied to, and that’s to say the least. I was never able to get approved by my insurance to get an MRI because the PT discharged me. Again, I was told 4-5 weeks and I was there twice a week for a little over 4 weeks, and I was discharged for leaving too soon.Extremely disappointed especially because they were actually nice people, but let me down the way they did. Brutal experience. She constantly pushed and pushed the idea of me receiving additional treatments that costed more although I clearly made it clear that I wasn’t interested and it almost seemed as if she would get angry for me not agreeing to pay for the costly voluntary treatments.

Mary Kramer: Nichole Chakur, who leads this Athletico team in the Renaissance Center, is a terrifically gifted therapist. I have gone to PT before over the years and basically, someone sat with a clipboard while i did exercises. Nichole did a very thorough analysis of my issues -- i needed work after hip replacement surgery changed my gait and alignment. She provided exercises for me to do on my own and then provided hands on therapy on problem areas. It was remarkable. I can walk without pain, I have my own ongoing set of exercises to keep strengthening my hip and glutes and i am walking without pain. HIGHLY recommend. Plus it's easy to park in the deck, they validate parking and it's easy in-and-out of the RenCen.

Beverly Love: Athletico is a great all around facility and is highly recommended.It's conveniently located, modern, well equipped and utilizes the most effective techniques.The staff is professional, friendly and very encouraging. I always looked forward to the sessions.My therapist, Nichole, was amazing. Under her care and expertise, surgery for a shoulder injury was avoided. Craig Conley: I recently completed physical therapy at this location and I must say that this was the most beneficial and satisfying that I have ever experienced. I would like to commend the entire staff for their exemplary service that they provided. My therapist Paige and Mohammed were both extremely knowledgeable and always expressed sincere concern regarding how I was feeling upon returning for each and every appointment. Additionally they were always patient and willing to adjust/modify my treatment at any time that I had a concern/complication. Please forgive me if I misspell the therapy assistants name Shanice who was equally as pleasant and extremely efficient. I must also mention the therapist Dave who I did not have the experience of treating with but was always greeted me as well as inquiring as to how I was doing etc. All in all I will say that I have been to various therapy facilities over the years and I can truthfully say that this has been the best and most satisfying physical therapy experience I have ever had. I do highly recommend anyone in need of physical therapy to seek the services of the staff at this location and experience the care and concern that I've never experienced anywhere else. Believe me they'll treat you right.
