Devries & Co 1887: what do users think?
Alex Freeman: BEST. CHEESE. EVER. 🧀 they do free samples and have specialty aged cheeses. Tasty, delicious. They also have discount cheeses for those wanting to spend $2-10 on some quality cheese. Perfect for charcuterie and fancy dinner nights !
Rachel Kimball: Home of the oldest working elevator in Detroit! 3 floors of cool gifts and food. The HANKS gourmet rootbeer is fantastic.
Dylan Capello: Great cheese selection, hot sauces, and more. Lots of local goods.
Willard Stacer: If you love cheese, this is your place.
Jason Jones: DeVries & Co. 1887 in Detroit, MI is a must-visit destination for anyone looking for high-quality specialty foods and gifts. The store offers a wide variety of products, from locally made snacks and sauces to imported cheeses and chocolates. And with a beautiful and historic building that dates back to 1887, it's a great spot to explore and discover unique and delicious treats. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a great specialty food and gift store in Detroit.
Cindy Roos-Ritz: Really fun store with lots of unique and special items. The history there is part of the fun including the need to holler when you need an elevator ride. The cheese tasting is great as are the businesses who share their products for sampling.
Michael Sharpe: They have it all. Best cheese in the State of Michigan.
Shanon Kirkland-Morgan: They always have great products and they keep everything safe and moving!
keith wisdom: Gd
Mandy Brezzell: Cute store. Was very disappointed with the service I received. Directly asked a few employees questions and I was ignored.
Jennifer Milas: Fun place to visit!
Monica Dycus: Good selection
David Griffey: Devries is a must if you are planning on going to Eastern market. It is the only store I know like it. The staff is very knowledgeable and can help you find that special cheese for that special event.
Anna Cook: If Adam wasn’t with me… I’d probably be in this store for an hour or so 😆 Will have to come back here with my sisters and my cousin @sj_from_around_the_way Bought ourselves some local snacks and more 🤤#devries #easternmarket #easternmarketdetroit #detroit #buylocal
DeAnn Marston: If you love cheese you should go here. Nice gift ideas and holiday signs too.
Maggie: I’ve been going here for years, great store with great items, I can’t help but load up on everything they have and pack multiple baskets full. It’s a definite go to when I’m in the area
Brad Daneliuk: One of kind store located in Eastern market. The selection of goods is amazing and if you like certain types of cheese, this is your place. Three floors of well priced products with the oldest freight elevator to take you up or the restored stairs are also an option. Many edible products on the first floor are made from vendors located in the Detroit area and that's nice to see. If you want that special gift for yourself or someone else the second floor is your place. Jeff & Kaye who operate that section as well the outside of the store are the most friendliest people I have met while visiting the market. The selection of goods is astonishing.Third floor has different unique items with a music studio operated by Luis Resto. (amazing ) Over all this seems to be one of the gems of Eastern Market .
Stuart Harrell: A Michigan transplant colleague of mine asked me to bring back some Mackinac Island fudge, and remembered seeing it here in a previous visit. So glad I could count on DeVries!
Jay James: Always a fun visit. Tons of Michigan goods!
Michael David: Cool store. They have a lot of interesting stuff.
Jim Stewart: More than a cheese shop, I could of looked around this shop for hours, such a range of cool stuff. As a visitor from UK a great place for some authentic American gifts

Michael Sharpe: Food: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 4/5More
Josh Wise: Really you come here for the ambience, food is pretty decent but they up charge on everything and it’s funny you get better value at PARC.Double check price tags on the groceries as some items have a reasonable premium for a bodega and others they’re ripping you off ($14 bay leaves?!).
Ron Reed: This is where I go as my downtown Capital Park standby. There's not a lot of seating indoors, but there's a large patio for spring, summer and fall. They have several very healthy choices on the menu. The bartenders make great craft drinks and the staff is great. They tell me they're expanding, so I'm looking forward to more seating. There's a solid grocery in the back of the restaurant which is why this place is a complete go to for the Capital Park neighborhood. Parking is on the street, so it's not super easy to drive too for groceries or a quick bite, but there is usually street parking, and there's a lot and garage around the corner. This is a great pre or post-game meeting place.Vegetarian options: They have a few choices for a vegetarian, including the Moroccan Bowl, which is a favorite of mine.Parking: Parking is on the street or nearby surface or parking lots.
Mel: My favorite salads in Detroit. Other good food on menu too. Great happy hour. I love the patio. Europe vibes. I wish the cocktail list was better.
Josh Levey: Tasty foods and drinks, indoor and dog friendly outdoor seating, friendly and attentive staff. Ordered the Moroccan Bowl which was very tasty.Recommended dishes Moroccan Bowl …More
Trix Mensah: Good food. Lovely ambianceFood: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Avocado Toast …More
Eugene C: Brunch Time! Fried chicken sandwich was great! Service was a little slow, my friend never got his French toast. Not sure I would come back. cocktails look good, so maybe I’ll try happy our out!Recommended dishes Hand Cut Chips, French Toast, Market Fried Chicken Sandwich …More
ragheed rabban: Food and service was phenomenal
Ray Rabban: Great staff great good
Arber Velencia: Recommended dishes Avocado Toast, Market Fried Chicken Sandwich, Crispy Brussel SproutsMore
Chris Hallock: Great happy hour with fun and friendly bartenders. A smaller venue which made it a more intimate setting. The happy hour deals were great with good quality drinks.
ART IN MOTION: Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5More
Mz Marvel29: 12/31/22 I really enjoy this spot. I would have loved to sit at a booth but alas it wasn’t meant to be. It was New Year’s Eve so what can you do. I was in town from Alabama for the weekend and I wanted to take my daughter out for dinner for her new year’s birthday. Well I wasn’t disappointed at all. Service was nice and the food was as well. I will definitely come again when I’m back in town.
Sydney marie: Smells bad and the hours are wrong online
Thadd F.: Great little market with a killer chicken sandwich and really good drinks. The housemade chips were really good but that chicken sandwich was just... WOW!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Market Fried Chicken Sandwich, Hand Cut Chips …More
Alexander Lazar: Great place if you live in the area and need a few odds and ends to complete your grocery list. The friendly staff and upscale space are nice added perks.
Collins Whitfield: The food is amazing.
Don Kaufman: I had two drinks that were very poor. The roasted peppers and Brussels sprouts were both good although the Brussels sprouts were heavily carb'd. Tenderloin was excellent, although the sauce was mediocre. The salad was ok @ best, but $10 for 3x20 count shrimp was pretty shocking. The table next to us had five shouting drunk girls that were pretty obnoxious but I can only look at them having fun. Pic attached.
Eric Blackmer: Best place in Detroit in my opinionMy brother introduced me to Eatori a couple years back and after all this time I felt compelled to leave a review. If you are living here I recommend taking your dog to the park next door and stopping in for their amazing Brussel sprouts or even their espresso martini. The pink drink tastes amazing but its shine is quickly forgotten when all you can remember is the absolute stellar people who take care of you here.
Vaibhav L: Nice little place tucked away in tall buildings of detroit downtown. Outdoor seating is a win to enjoy nice weather. Food was really good, salad was winner and then wings. Took one star away for mussels that were more than usual stinky. But rest was great service friendly and quick

Its seems to be popular because I always see people ordering dinner.

The Amazon return person, the people working in the meat department, and the cashier.l — all went above and beyond to be helpful and make me feel welcome in the store. Great experience.
Kateria crawford: Fake organic foodThey been on the news too much
mia scott: POOR SERVICE, I’ve been coming to this location for over 7 years for smoothies in particular. Ever since the reconstruction of the smoothie bar, everything about this location have went down hill. I’ve been trying to avoid writing a review based off my loyalty to this location. Today I HAVE HAD ENOUGH!Went to the smoothie station, after being told they close strictly at 3:00 - 3:30. I was online at 2:25 ish . (There was a lady with a disable son in front of me) The host at the bar, finished up the lady in front of the lady with disabled son and stopped us both and said , “Sorry We closed” I looked at the lady, she looked at me and we looked at the host. Then I doubled checked the time, like it’s NO WAY y’all are closed. She the goes to say, how, she has to go on break and when it’s time to come back, she has to leave.I’m just sickly sick of this location and will NEVER return.Let’s not talk about the supervisor that, seen me at customer service and didn’t even greet me.Oh let’s not also talk about these organic but GMO- Products. Just simple DONE!
lenneter williams: Very expensive

Honey Bee Market - La Colmena: what do users think?
Mark Gianotto: Stopped in this morning first thing at 9:00 a.m. bought a bag of tamales was a half hour after and I couldn't resist and got into him dry as hell just like the last time and they're $17 a dozen absolutely ridiculous this place is going downhill and has been for the last year or so
A.D. Mitchell: My family especially my son loves honey bee Market I mean love it love the ambiance the care of the customer he loves the meat the vegetables everything in there I cannot say not one thing negative about that place I wish I had extra money I would be down there twice a month I love that place so do my son that's his go to place
Anthony Wiggins: My 1st visit here was unremarkable. Let me change that, it was rather memorable (and not in a good way, I assure you). I came here during their lunch rush and ordered a steak a la mexicana meal (the server said the steak was mild, in fact, it was anything but). Within a few hours of eating it, I began experiencing “flu-like symptoms” (feverish, nauseous, severe vomiting & diarrhea, and aches/pains all over). It was literally a nightmare that last for just over 48-hours. That lunch was the only thing I ate that day and NEVER AGAIN will I ever visit this place. To those who read these words, please take heed. Run and don’t look back!!!
FELIX: Elegante muy confortable
Seppe Ovink: Excellent grocery store! This large store had everything I needed. The store is clean and staff is friendly. If you are into vegetables, meat or anything in between, they have it.
Chris Gibson: It's a very nice small organize market that will compliment your Latin and Mexican dishes! I was able to find products and food that's hard to find in just American base markets. I love this place!
Scott Harwick: Great lunch time food
Terry Miles: Always a great experience and pretty good prices.
Jennifer Kusch: Lovely market with great to-go food. Awesome tamales.
Forrest Boyles: Best market around, we travel 30 miles for this Little gem. Try the tamales.... especially the cheese and jalapeño ones... they are the best, just wish they sold them during the week.
Krystal Grames: Been going here for over 30 years. Fresh and always good.
ATIBA Jones: You can see the fresh products when you walk through the door as well as the cleanliness
Diane Orley: This market carries ALOT of GOYA products. GOYA gives millions to TRUMP and i will not purchase anything from them. I won't be back at Honey Bee until things change.
Toya Davis: Great Food, Reasonable Prices
Derrick Hardy: A great market with everything in stock to make all kind of recipes . Lots of fresh fruit and vegetables.
K Hop: Great selection of authentic Mexican foods.
Daniel Ratkov: Always on point
Bill Mccreadie: Love this market for Mexican food that is fresh
Spring 14: This place always has great avocados fresh produce and the hot food is good too!!!

DelPointe Food Center: what do users think?
Eric Rybicki: It's the only grocery store we have around here I've been coming here since it was farmer jacks
Walter King: A great place to shop.
Michael Robinson: Safe and clean environment. Reasonable prices. Fruits n vegetables available and fresh. Parking lot clean.
Mahalia Brayjohn: this store should of been shut down years ago , the meat is old and smells. I never buy nothing from here but boxed foods .
Lynda S. Jackson: Never buy anything that doesn't come in a box from this store. produce is old meat is brown and milk be expired Idk how they are still open
Earlene Drane: They really need to shut down selling people this food they are disgusting and I will be calling health department Monday
Joseph Wood: In my humble opinion, this establishment is of the highest caliber. I challenge the assertions that being located in the "hood" as some have said is a deterrent on a wholesome small business supplying their patrons with impeccable produce at affordable rates.
Angela Patterson: Very nice ppl and clean!
Latesha Baker: They have some good hot soul food for a reasonable price
Stacey Meckes: the younger looking lady always got a attitude problem when you get up to the register
bbbyface jay: It's an ok store just needs more options food wise
Porita Walker: Hard to find certain types of food.
Max Spears: They are over priced and sell rotten produce. Basic ghetto grocery store. Keep moving. Nothing to see here.
Charles Ellis: They also got good soul food
Myster Michaels: Shoppers Mecca for quality foods
Oleta Lee: Pricy!
Arnold Waston: Bad service
Mercedes Washington: A little pricey but its cool
Calvin Black: Clean and organized store. Great sales and service.

Meijer: what do users think?
Theresa McCurtis: Shop at Meijer weekly. Always clean and have what I 'm shopping for.
Katrina Kiritharan: Produce department has hung up on me twice tonight.
Delisa Mack: Happy they had Virginia brand sausages!
MiuKing Jay: Favorite place to shop easy to find anything
Lulu H: Clean Clean Abit pricey Bt it’s a lovely store ..Rotisserie chicken always fresh unlike Walmart .
Ariel Dudeck: Its set up really weird, like the bakery and pharmacy is the hub in the middle of the store and everything else is set off around that, its just a weird store. It is a bit messy in the aisles, there's always stock blocking the way to go.. if you are stocking you should only be allowed to pull out one pallet at a time, have to put it away and then go get the rest. when people stock and they bring it ALL out in the aisle, where tf do the customers walk?
Lynn White: Everything good. Short lines. Good fruits.
Loretta Wilson: I am sorry to say that COVID has taken its toll on both Meijer (1301 Eight Mile and 21431 Grand River) stores. The prices are higher, the sales don't mean a thing, items on the shelves are about 85% non-existant. They have been installing new weighing machines that don't work since forever; good luck finding a working price check machine, and when you do, 90% of them don't work. I am too ashamed to add any photo(s).
Sherry Maloy: Love the fresh veggies and fresh fruits
Shawn Swichtenberg: Busy and expensive
Alonzo Johnson: Store is grimmy.
Chiketa Palmore-Bryant: It is rare that I can't find what I'm looking for at Meijer.
Detroit89: The best grocery store
A. Alkorshomi: Clean and organized. Prices are bit higher than others.
Mike G: I hate the layout of Meijer's stores. They are so disjointed that it makes no sense how they are laid out. Why not just number the isles sequentially like your competitors. The produce department looked like one from a third world country after a raid. People don't want to work their probably because of the pay so the lines are long and you can't find help in the aisles. If your local store is good shop there or go to Kroger.
Mal: Meijers always gonna be staple for me, and I can see it's the same for everyone else too since them lines be longer than a strand of Rapunzel's hair. They have a nice large variety of anything you may need or want and everything is organized. And let me tell you when I seen those plants they had out last week I had to pick me up a lil something so I'm telling you they got what you need, even yarn too for you crocheters like me as well.
Rodriguez Pierre Jayvan Bell (Jay): Safe
Susan Williams: Safe, clean, and open late
Suzanne Pitts: It's the ladies at the Gas Station.Very cool
Mark Johnson: Clean nice people
Chris McDonald: Clean. Safe. Great service. Well stocked and good sales.Bottle return now opens from 9am to 9pm.
