Micole Heggs: Dr rozzelle did a 8 hr reconstruction surgery on my son head when he was 2 yr old. When I tell u I was a nervous wreck but dr insured me he would be fine and sure enough it was a success. He’s 4 now and u can’t even tell he was cut from ear to ear. It was a long healing process but I thank god for such a gifted surgeon like her. I recommend her she is awesome.

Rebecca Swoveland: I won’t take stars away for Dr. Rozzelle because she did amazing work on my daughter. Her current office staff, or at least the lady I spoke to, leave much to be desired. I called to inform her there was a pile up on the freeway and ask if we could still come if we would be late. I told her my appointment was for 4:20. She very hatefully told me that no it’s for 4. I told her “I’m sorry the appointment card said 4:20” She then says “No it didn’t but it doesn’t matter! She’ll still be seen.” The whole interaction was unprofessional and if I hadn’t already had appointments with Dr. Rozzelle, I may have considered other options.

Joshua Aylward: Dr Rozzelle has done surgery on 2 of my kids. My daughter had crainio vault reconstruction at 8 mos, which turned out beautifully. She has done 2 surgeries so far on my son for a bilateral cleft lip & palate. She is skilled at what she does. Dr Rozzelle takes her patients care very seriously. Their health and safety is a concern for her. I feel like she will do everything in her power to make sure our kids medical needs are addressed. She is a perfectionist & it shows in the quality of care she provides her patients. She’ll even get down on a child’s level to explain a procedure to them in a way they can understand. Her office staff have been helpful over the years (so far we’ve worked with her for 7 1/2 years. We have another decade to go). Her assistant, Peggy, is particularly helpful. Dr Rozzelle is definitely a doctor you want on your child’s team.

Her misleading statements led to the removal of my child. 18 months later & $6,000 later...my child was returned...with an apology from CPS! I was told not to google my kids procedure due to the graphic nature...I wish I wouldn't have listened to that...Do yourself a favor...take the trip to U of M Mott Children's,Ann Arbor or Beaumont Children's, Royal Oak

Linda Matthews: I’m posting anonymously due to the nature of the type of surgery. I’m writing this after going to two other consultations and experiencing how other professional clinics are. When I went for a consult at Straith, the young lady at the desk ignored me and had her back to me. Presumably she didn’t hear me, but I saw her shopping on Amazon. What kind of office allows for their staff to sit with their laptops propped up in a way that could record us, or take our personal information. No other staff including the doctor had a portable computer or device. Another gal came out to greet me who was pleasant, the nurse was pleasant and the most enjoyable part of the visit, however the consult with the doctor felt rushed. I had some questions regarding my skin, they introduced me to the skin tech, turned out the rude young gal was the skin tech. I could tell she was disinterested in my concerns, and had something negative to say about every product I use. Which is fine, but the attitude was not needed. I asked her about her expertise, it didn’t sound like she’s been doing it very long. I’ve gone to two consultations since then, one last week and one today, the doctors both took their time, and at one I met with the skin lady. She was very thorough, including putting my face in a special device to better understand my needs.

Timerie Yocca: I had the best experience with Dr. Goffas and his staff. I came in with a botched lift and implants. When I woke up from my first surgery I told the doctor my right breast was hard and hurting. He was nothing but rude and told me I didn't know what I should feel and to go home take meds and come back in a week. My one week appt was again awful and I cried my eyes out and the doctor basically said oh well you can pay again in another year if your not happy. Dr. Goffas was very compassionate and respectful from the start. He took his time to exam me and talk to me letting me know what needed to be done to correct the issue and get what I should of got in the first place. I never once felt rushed and I never felt like it was all about the money. I wasn't just another surgery walking thru the door, I was important and my happiness was important. I was traumatized from the first surgery and all the pain I was in. He assured me he would make sure I was comfortable before, during and after. Everything he said to me he held true. I would do this over and over again all day with Dr. Goffas and he fabulous staff. My only regret is not doing more research and finding him first. He will not disappoint! Awesome experience!!! I called in to the office the next morning to schedule a consultation and felt very rushed to end the call by the receptionist.I am hoping this experience skews in the positive direction at my consultation as my experience speaking with the reception was negative. She did not give me a chance to ask any questions, and when I did confirm the office location she quickly said, "Yes, okay bye".I'm providing a very generous three star rating due to the welcome email and them at least answering their phone.

Dr. Goffas removed a sebaceous cyst from my head. He was so caring. Explained everything he was doing and made a follow up call the same evening to check on me. brooke wiese: Overall experience with surgery was good. I was told they provide 3 complimentary laser treatments for scarring. My 3rd appointment was set and cancelled by them due to the machine breaking - in January. I had to call about rescheduling 2 times- once in February and again in March. And the 2nd time was told I can no longer get this laser treatment at a time I previously was seen for it (4:30pm) because they set a new schedule. This procedure takes a total of 5 minutes and as someone with a full time job until 4 pm I cannot take off work to drive 40 minutes round trip for a 5 minute laser. The front desk staff I spoke to was not accommodating at all. Very disappointing considering I am not happy with the scarring at this point- 7 months out.

Yasmin Traini: Nov of 2020 I went in for what I considered reconstructive/reparative surgery (tummy tuck, muscle repair) and not what most consider purely cosmetic. I was met with a physician who has the same attitude. She showed me that she believes medicine and care need to be held to the highest standard regardless of if the procedure is elective, a concept many surgeons hold very loosely. I went to 5 consults before I met Dr. Hardaway and every doctor was sales-pitchy, over-promising and obsessed with appearance. Dr.Hardaway was frank and clear, reserved in nature and strictly professional. Finally! Why is it so hard to find that?Her surgical nurse Lisa is …perfect. That woman is a saint and Brenda the Nurse Anesthetist is so compassionate and professional too. Their two personalities will balance out Dr.Hardaway’s (sometimes) dry personality. It’s the perfect mix of welcoming and kind yet professional. They work well as a team.I had only 2 minor complaints that I share only as a warning. The recovery time post surgery is non-existent (literally got me dressed and sent me home). I later saw that they do make up for it with very dedicated post-op care in the 2-52 weeks after surgery.Secondly, the nurse who took care of me for post-op appointments can sometimes be aggressive when removing stitches or doing checks on wounds. But she is receptive so I just had to remind her a couple of times to ease up and she tried her best. Just mentally prepare yourself that those appointments aren’t fun.Overall though, my experience was great and I’ve already recommended her to 2-3 friends who have also gotten surgery by Dr. Hardaway.Dr.Hardaway has a lot to be proud of; ownership of her surgical center and practice, both of which are dedicated to clinical excellence, speak for themselves. The office full of empowered females of diverse backgrounds, different professional levels and roles which is great. It is not lost of me the time and energy she puts in to her overall business/career.
