Candace Venable: The Y feels like a second family! When I first moved to Detroit I didn't really know anyone. Because of this the Boll Family YMCA became my happy place. A place where I could feel accepted and where I could feel a place of community. The Y has also helped be consistent in my weight loss and fitness journey. Since being at the Y I have lost 35 pounds and it is the culture of health and fitness that has helped me keep it off. Over the course of the two years that I have been at the Y, I have seen the fitness class options go from pretty good to amazing and I'm pretty excited that these class additions will help me to accomplish my long standing fitness goals. Not only would l suggest that someone join the Boll family YMCA but I have suggested this to people that I know and at least one person has.

William Lloyd: I just recently joined the YMCA program. I truly can't speak on anything cause it's to soon. I will say that this facility is a very nice and clean facility and have everything you want and need for working out and building a better and healthier body. If you're looking for somewhere to go to and concentrate on you and maybe even socialize if you choose then I recommend that you give the YMCA of DETROIT a visit. Do it for YOU!!
Cukeyra Blackshear: The front desk staff is always friendly and welcoming. The Y always has activities for me and my family to participate in. My 4 year loves going to the Y for winter camp, summer camp and parents night out. He enjoys running around the track with his dad and working on his soccer skills. I like the workout classes and being able to workout with my family.
Antoine Ward: Went here for a visit to see if I want to be a member & nope. Customer service was horrible. Who hires these folks. Equipment was mediocre & most of them were out of service. Will not be returning. I’ll stick with my Planet Fitness membership.

Andrew Coutts: Excellent clean facility!! I love coming to the indoor track in the mornings on my days off. The pool and jet tub are amazing. The views of the city are great while working out. The staff are always friendly. Overall great facility!

Dan Polovina: We love it here and send our kids to camp. Amenities are great. Pool is great. Sometimes the schedules have been hard to find though. Otherwise, happy family members.

Benjamin Bailey: This facility is a Downtown gem — pristinely maintained, expertly designed, big enough to host activities that can appeal to a wide range of interests. As an organization, they communicate regularly and effectively with members.
John Adamovicz: The staff are friendly but the hours are terrible, and the workout equipment is sub par. They don’t have enough workout equipment and a lot of the machines they do have are either useless or unusable. Additionally they like to kick people out of the gym before the closing time on weekends.
Dom D: You can't talk to anyone or get ahold of anyone at the front desk. When you call the number no matter what selection you make it always goes to a voicemail. I'm glad I have a membership here lol. I will be canceling it soon!

Hamza Azam: one of the BEST MUSEUMs in Michigan, and especially the detroit have to offer. This location has one of the LAST full IMAX 70mm screen in ALL of the midwest and United States, and us local have to do everything we can to continue to support this place!One of my fondest memories was watching Christoper Nolan’s “Tenet” in full IMAX 70mm during the pandemic and feeling like i was inside the movie. I hope they also play his next movie “Oppenheimer” coming in July and I will be sure to spread the word!

erika mbah: lots of exciting, hands-on exhibits for children [and adults]. even with several school groups, it iwas easy to navigate & didn't feel overly crowded. the imax offerings were interesting & the theater was comfortable. there are several elevators, so accessibility isn't an issue. on-site parking fills quickly, but there is plenty of street & ramp parking nearby.food & beverage options are very limited so if you have children that like to graze frequently, bring your own snacks.

Denyce Detkowski: My grandson had an accident with a glass tube and was belittled and treated very poorly by the staff. He love science and I can't believe they would treat a child like this. Accidents happen and children need to understand it happens and it is okay. His first experience with a school field trip and now he never wants to go on one again. Very sad.

Makayla Sorrell: This is a really great experience for kids under 15. There are some cool things to do for the older folks. There great photo opportunities here. The food is expensive. We went to the Sound Scapes planetarium show and it was geared for children under 10 which was fine, but it wasn't great. It was just being projected on the dome. It was also ridiculously hot in the whole building. I don't think their AC was turned on yet, but after a couple hours it was awful. Again, it was a cool experience for the kids.
