kiyoji nakaniji: Always behind schedule which is not easy with two small children. Also short staffed frequently. Waited for 45 minutes to place my Christmas card order and now I’ve received the cards and it’s not what I ordered. JCPenney studio told me to call lifetouch because they “are not trained to handle mistakes” I have now been on hold with lifetouch for more than 30 minutes when I was told my hold time was 1 minute. Clearly nobody wants to answer. Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced in store and through lifetouch. Definitely wouldn’t recommend.

Sarina W.: I came here for my son's 6 month photoshoot (10/16) and I don't recommend anyone to go there. My appointment was at 4p and they called to reschedule me until 430...cool. I didn't get seen until 5:15p and the girl did about 6 shots then the camera stopped working. The photographer kept saying how it was her 2nd day and the other person left her. She said I would need to reschedule my appointment due to the camera breaking. The pictures we did get done I was told I couldn't get them because I'm doing a new shoot. This was THEE WORST experience and I didn't receive a call from the manager to apologize about this. I gave them 1 star because I had to in order to write this review.

Sarah Alaw: I had a session with my family at 5pm. After hours of preparing children we made it there to be informed they were overbooked and had cancelled us. They said they had called to inform me. I checked my phone to see I had a missed call at 3pm. I did not answer because I was busy getting children ready for a photoshoot. They did not leave a message. Very unprofessional. They should have cancelled in a timely manner if they were not prepared.

Like literally take the mouse and favorite them. She didn’t give any direction at all! My daughter wasn’t looking, my husband and I are hunch back and you can see up our noses. Absolutely horrendous! The worst experience ever! The Oakland Mall location is so slow they were running an hour behind on all shoots! How can you schedule a party of 6 people in a 15 minute photo window! Then I needed to reschedule because they were so late and the guy didn’t even reschedule me! He typed on the computer for 20 minutes, told me I was rescheduled and NOTHING! My information was nowhere to be found in the system. I’m never going back to JCP Portraits again!!
