Melissa Vongpunsawad: Do you live in Detroit and are in need of gardening supplies/plants? Don’t want to drive out to the big box stores? Support local businesses in your community instead! Allemon’s is great for every gardening need you could think of. Mary helped me today and was so kind and patient as I tried to figure out my planter boxes. Despite being a local store, their prices are extremely competitive. They even have a store cat that my daughter loves to find. Every time I walk in, someone comes to assist me within minutes. Can’t say the same for Home Depot and Lowe’s gardening centers. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

David Vandenbroucke: I just went to grab a flat of flowers to plant with my 1st graders on the last day of school. They were in shabby shape & more than double the price of the flats I bought elsewhere last month. So I left empty handed & now need to explain to my students. :(

They've never disapointed me..So I drive a little farther but it's well worth the rewad..Lastly, let me just how nice and helpful everyone is..You won't be sorry driving a few extra miles, not in my 3 years has ever been a dud..
Starpointe Photography: This was my first Visit but it won't be my last. It's a much larger space than what it looks like from the outside. A vast and impressive selection of flowers plants, seeds and seedlings. There were things that I was able to find here, that I was not able to locate at much bigger nurseries. The workers are all friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. And although there was only one check out on the outside that I could see she was fast and knew the pricing of most items.

Kim Westlake: Beautiful plants, lots of neat garden statues, yard products. The price was good on the barley straw for ponds. Also their plastic garden fencing was lower priced than other stores I've checked. Different statues than I usually see available including this really cool meerkat decoration which I was tempted to buy for the office as a joke (officer workers pop up like meerkats - peering over cubicle walls).
