I started at the school almost 4 years ago and stopped but decided to go back and finish. I'm so happy I did! Mazal's job placement helped me land a job at a really awesome mobile bartending service. They also offer TIPS training which is 100% recommended. 10/10 would recommend to anyone!

Sora Lunzer: I contacted two bar-tending schools. One called Professional Bartender School... spoke to someone named Ken Taboh who said their $99 classes were full until August, but when I drove by there it was shut down. I called the school board - who said he is shut down and not licensed. I also was checking out All American Bar and Casino Trainers which moved to Southfield a couple years ago and it is beautiful! Loved the course. The staff was nice, they let me practice as much as I wanted, and I felt confident working in a bar when I finished.

Tasha Johnson: I took the 2 week course at the school during the week from 10 to 2. Gregg was an amazing instructor who taught me how to pour drinks the correct way and taught me how to layer drinks and do a two handed pour. The job placement director Mazel sent me some very good leads for good paying jobs. I would recommend this place because it's fun, they offer job assistance when you graduate and they also have a summer special.

I enjoyed the drink practices (especially the Long Island Iced Tea drink!), and it was great to know that I could come back anytime to relearn recipes. I believe that the double-pour method has helped me put on a good show at the events, and draw some attention as desired! Kelly Pce: ABC Bartending School is definitely worth your time and money! Once you spend the money, you have unlimited access to the classes and information. The instructors are great because they have a plethora of knowledge, tips, and experience. Mazal is also fantastic with setting you up with leads for job placement after you graduate. I started working less than a week after finishing the classes! She has an incredible network with bars and restaurants all throughout the Detroit and surrounding areas. If you are looking to really set a good foundation for bartending, this is the school for you! Whether you want to just learn for fun or put your newly learned skills to work.

Leslie Heinzen: I hired Bar and Casino to bring a Craps table to my boyfriend's 30th surprise birthday party. They called me an hour before my party and told me that their truck was broken and they were not going to make it, when they knew 4 hours prior to my party that there were problems with the truck. (I had no time for a back up plan to entertain 50 people in my house). I requested a full refund, and I had to call 3 times to get them to give a refund. Would not recommend.On another note, our bartender was AMAZING! We really liked having Cayla to serve drinks.

Marena Roberts: The entire toilet was broken and took them 20 minutes to fix it at 1AM when we came back for the night, we checked in earlier but went straight to the casino so we didn’t know anything was wrong until then. Also, they only allow one toilet paper roll at a time if you request extra. What the??? Do not stay here and don’t trust anyone here. Especially if you have a condition like the person I’m staying with. Never staying here again.

The Detroit people mover has a stop next to the casino.Safety: The Greektown area has been the location of police activity and arrests. The police have been added additional officers to the area.Walkability: The Greektown area is on the near east side of downtown Detroit.Food & drinks: Food availability can limited during off hours and days.
