T V Lounge: what do users think?
Mathew DeGutes: Great club with great vibes and artists in Detroit!Food: 2/5|Service: 3/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Pee Thomas: Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5More
Deana “Dee”: First time over Memorial Day weekend. Ended the night here twice, had a really great time on Saturday night. But man, I’m tempted to almost give 2 stars. The older black guy who ran the door on Tuesday morning (5am) had the EGO the size of Jupiter. So rude and arrogant 0 reason. Should be spreading kindness. I watched him be hyper rude to an older man, just giving him grief for pettiness, all while that man maintained calm and positivity. Then a group of 5 individuals cut directly in front of my small group. Tried to mention it and he told me “ don’t tell me how to do my job, you must not want to come in” … idk what was in his cup, maybe a cup of attitude juice. I know everyone has been up and awake and working, but geez did not have to be so hostile. Several people in the line were turned off by his behavior, but obviously said nothing else because we just wanted to continue with our party.
John Litvinenko: Run by thugs with an inflated ego. No respect for the patron.Sad because it could have been great.Food: 1/5|Service: 1/5|Atmosphere: 3/5 …More
Nikki Marie: Dirty, grimy
Jack: Love this place
W. C.: Definitely had a decent time here when I was here last
Ahmed Badr: Great musicAll season
Sam I Am: It's a very cool venue with great music but I give it a 4/5 because the drinks are way too expensive and the bartenders are way too slow at getting them out to you! I understand they get busy but it's pretty ridiculous honestly.
O' Dags: Edit: I found a review on Yelp where this same exact situation happened to another person. They said I'd you forget who your bartender is they will keep your card. My bartender forgot he was my bartender! What a joke. The Yelp review also stated that security attacked these people physically that were just trying to get their card back . Sad. The music is good but I won't tolerate this type of low class disrespect from anyone.I gave the bartender my card to open a tab. Later, I tried to close the tab and he told me he lost my card. I told him multiple times it was in the other register and he didn't listen. He told me the other bar tender had it. She did not. He lied and said he already closed me out. I told him, no he did not, that i never signed anything! After making me go through this song and dance, wondering where my card was for at least 30 minutes HE FINALLY LOOKED IN THE DRAWER I TOLD HIM 3 TIMES TO LOOK INTO and found my card. they refused to offer me any discount for the bs i had to deal with. I will never come back here.. I would appreciate someone in management reaching out about this matter
Tracey Spencer: Always a great experience w Triandos Ginn...
Eric Jackson: The last of the Detroit original party spots. A part of the fabric and community of old Detwa'
Evan Malinowski: Overpriced cover, bad setup inside, terrible drinks.
FalJPromotionsEnt: My favorite place for day party music and good vibes only! Only the mature will enjoy like me!
Darryl Swint: Wonderful!
Kimberly Hudson (Kimm H.): Great upgrades! Kelly was great! #blaaqgold
Escada Gordon: TV Lounge is always a good move!- Escada Gordon
Derek Williamson: HOUSE OF E FUNK PARTY FOREVER AND EVER. seriously one of my favourite venues in the city.
Realtalk 4eva: I went to this bar the Thursday before New Years of 2022 and gotta say, music was good and the DJ's - I think were all women! Shout out to this place for keepin my sister's in business and for the music on point. I had a black bartender who was super nice and on point, and then we had a bartender, white girl who had an attitude, and was slammin those drinks down to you on the other side of the entrance. It was cold, but I bet when the weather gets better all areas of the bar will be open. They had no cover charge, music was on point, they also had finger food at the front door, maybe because of holiday, but with no cover, it was lit! The only draw back for me was the drive because I live in A2. I found most of the staff, including Security to be friendly. I have only been here once and this was it!
Derek Reynolds Jr: Place is awesome!
Al Young: Excellent music

Level Two Bar & Rooftop: what do users think?
Lauren Jones: If zero stars was an option that’s what I would leave for this establishment. We paid $20 each for a cover to get to the rooftop, no problem. Let me tell you that it’s not a rooftop. It’s a little room with an open ceiling. With zero seating. The seats were roped off and all had reserved signs on them. In order to get to the actual rooftop, you have to pay another $10 per person. They did not tell us that downstairs. So essentially after your $20 cover you pay extra to sit. There’s no wonder why this bar had no line and delmar had a line down the block. Wish we would have gone there. I definitely won’t return and I’ll advise others not to as well. I’ve worked in the industry for 12 years. Try being honest it will get you more business.
Yani S: The bouncers that were at the door didn’t allow my group in cause of the shoes we were wearing mind you when we left and drove by they were letting a whole group in with slides if it really is a rule apply it to everyone not just who ever you don’t want in the bar!!!!
Rachna Chandra: We were at the bar to celebrate a roof top holi party.Roof top is not a roof top, it’s a room with no roof.Party was nice, we had lot of fun with colors and DJ.The inside bar area looks very tiny too. It’s very close to parking lots too.
oVaporeon: Over hyped and over priced
Rasheka Smith: So basically I’m new to Detroit and I’m trying to find places to go. Hopefully everyone who left a review can respond to this… So this is a bar with racist staff, the bouncers aren’t trained, it’s downtown in the center of Detroit but disgusting and they are extorting people for money at the door?
Ron Reed: This is a good place to meet friends in the evening. The staff was very attentive and everything came quickly. The food is solid, and there is enough variety to take care of a range of choices.
Thalia Crespo Diaz: Went for my fiancés birthday, mind you, we have been there many times. Saw them sing happy birthday to one young female, but they neglected to sing for my fiancé, after I advised them, and told them it was his birthday . Please speak with you’re employees regarding discrimination. Just wanted his night to be special
Timothy Myer: Went there by chance when just walking around Greektown. My wife and her girlfriend got in (pased the bouncer) while I parked the car.Unfortunately for me, (according to the bouncer) , "I wasn't dressed for club."ok, dress codes; I get it. Jeans and sneakers not good enough. Then he said "For 20 dollars he'd let me in". What a joke.Called my wife to leave, and wont be going back. She said she didn't like the inside either.
Kate Davis: Great for our staff holiday party. Staff is kind and very helpful. Food and drinks are great! I love that they put up with our crazy trivia games and endless hustle dancing...
Brandon Phillips: they are super rude to their customers, from bouncer to bartender, and they dont honor the bar crawl specials that they sell wrist bands for. id completely skit this one, the place mext door is way better.
Steven Wallace: Went here few years back with really nice people.
issaiah horney: Dress code makes thinks complicated.
Kajuana Peterson: If black people can't enjoy like everyone else why the hell is this place still open
Alyssa: Don’t come here. The girl with glasses will steal your belongings and tell you they are thrown away.
Christian Reasoner: Terrible, overpriced, and unprofessional
Jake Pittman: Good DJ but the cigarette smoke was thick enough you feel like you are going to gag and die. As someone who has chained smoked before, this smoke was thicker than a bowl of oatmeal.
Amy Mathis: My daughter was just at this place eating steak bites. The steak bites were served, she turned in her seat to begin eating and a RAT was eating her food. Video available is needed. Please stay away from this place.
Kelsi W: Went there for a bachelorette. Dj pushed my chest back when I was clearly behind the ropes of his set they put up and when I asked for a song he said “I played one for you already” when the dance floor was pretty much empty, not many people asking for songs. Will not be back
Sarah Menig: The bouncers straight up beat the hell out of my friend out of nowhere after they had been joking around and chilling. 1/10 DO NOT GO HERE. They almost put him in the hospital.
Travonna Conoway: This place is disturbing. I’ve never felt more uncomfortable anywhere in my life. Blacks are not welcome or wanted here. Some of my girl cousins and I stopped by for a drink. We were literally the only people in there the staff would not serve or seat us. They stated “everything was reserved nothing was available”. Keep in mind it was a Sunday at 4PM with not a soul in sight. We felt so uncomfortable we left. They might as well just put a whites only sign in the window because I felt like we took a step back into the 60’s. Detroit it filled with African Americans if y’all don’t want to serve blacks get the hell out of a predominantly black city. I’ve never felt more disgusted or disrespected in my life. I hope they close down.
Rachel Thomas: Just no...

Bleu Detroit: what do users think?
Angel: Don’t come here on Saturdays!! Rude & disgusting, grimey trolls working at the counter where you pay. Trash workers & club.I was supposed to go to Annex for my birthday but instead we decided to stop by Bleu since we thought it was a Latin club (Fridays) cover was $60, my fiancé put $100 on the counter & the black girl working there yelled “don’t throw shi* at me, hand it to me” in a disgusting tone, I handed the $$ to her to deescalate the situation since I wanted to have a good night, the other girl was snickering in the corner. But I really should’ve taken the $$ & headed to Annex or a strip club instead. Walked in club was dead, drinks were gross. The vibes were horrible & dead. Walked out not even 10 min later. Waste of $$ & time.*I hope those fat, grimey trolls see this, I hope someone puts them in their place. Y’all work at a ghetto, trash club which matches your personalities perfectly. Miserable grimey a** jealous bvtches.
Asia Thomas: I love my job
alfred samano: Let 16 yr old girls in but only 21+ guys
Brows Almighty: I can’t believe I’ve never been to this Gem! They say it’s been here for years . But me and my wife and our buddy’s came downtown out for a drink last weekend we saw the line and we wanted to go in ! Security was tight but not all aggressive like at some clubs downtown. The Drinks were STRONG just like I want them to be. Long story short We didn’t have to pay tons of money to get drunk at this place!!! LOL we will be back for R N B Sundays !!!!
Shay G.: LOVEEEE IT HERE !!!!! Reserved booths for my Birthday AND my graduation party here The vibes are good Waitresses are pretty and give good service. And they have tight security which is a must for me when I go out to clubs. They have a forever customer
Static Streetz: The downfall of this club will definitely be the security at the front door. One security guy consistently creates problems with people and is known to be short tempered, which could create an unsafe environment for the club and people in it or waiting outside.
Danny Bravo: Close down
Bailey Buck: Guess I turned up a lil too hard on Halloween when working this event as a promo girl… The blonde manager had some type of bad intentions set towards me from the moment I introduced myself to her hmmm odd because I was making the business money and 4 hours into the night she decided to randomly kick me out when I was simply with my team out on the floor having a toast. Still to this day can’t understand who this woman thought she was to put her hands on me, extremely unprofessional of her. That’s ok will not ever be returning, just should have worked at Annex as a promo girl instead of this s*** show of a place.
My Reviews: Club Bleu is a nice large club to go party and is located right on Woodward Ave. My main issue is that you cannot tell what event is going inside. I've been to Bleu a few times in the past year and every time I called, I was told its was just a regular bar night, even got the same info from the bouncers. When I arrived and paid a cover, I would walk in and notice it was a private event. The venue should be more up front before making people wait in line and pay $30+ dollar cover only to walk into a private event.
Keshia Allen: Only thing that was great was the music. If I could give a half of star I would.
Corey Mills: There 10 minutes spent 70 on covers and 50 on a beer and three shots. Really lame, the entertainment was some guy just yelling over music. Payin that much, I expected at least some sort of performance. Waste of money
Brooklynn Racquel: The way this club is operated is just way too aggressive. The staff, and especially the security team are extremely combative towards all of their guests. If you stand in the "improper" area of the club they will immediately threaten to kick you out or carry you outside.. It was really hard for me and my friends to let loose and have a great night here. I would not recommend this club at all. Plus it is really small in there.
A Foundational Black American Man: On a friday... White Hispanic night. For me neither bad nor good. Just... neutral.A decent spot catering to the dance crowdOne major bar, less places to sit. Less places to stand.Twenty dollar entrance fee.Relatively a clean modern lookMeh, but perhaps worth a visit again on a different night.Hollered at a few of the women. Expected nothing from them. And I'm not waiting for any of them to call me back either. It's been about two months now. But who's waiting?
Chy L: A bottle girl or whoever she is was walking around with Jell-O shots. I asked if I could have one, and she said “here I’ll give you two!” Bet. I gave her $20 and she gave me $4 back, and I looked at her crazy like did she just scam me. She claims I asked for 2 but you know and I know that I did not ask for 2. If I was sober it would’ve been different.
Escada Gordon: As a young black guy from Detroit and lives in Detroit Issa nice space to vibe especially on Sundays. Shout out to Sysko
JKPRODUCTIONS: Love the way it flows here with many very richly
Elizabeth calles: Exelente
Parker Landis: Ordered a drink never got it. Was forced to pay $26 for it even thought the bar tender never gave it to me and yelled at me to tip him, genuinely one of the worst bars I’ve ever been too. All they try to do is steal ur money and make u feel dumb about it.
María Camila Carvajal Arenas: The most traumatic situation I have ever experienced, I was physically attacked by a security guard, who lifted me by the neck simply for arguing when he touched my body. Nobody did anything, the situation was really sad. The owner being a woman said that she took me out in a kind way, this is even sadder, this never happened.
Eric Martin: I've been there several times and I only had one problem with one of the bar tenders not returning my credit card saying they couldn't find it. Last time I was in there after this they don't take credit cards anymore but only cash and I think that's why. Besides that I love going to this place and get my dance on.
Carlo Chalhoub: Good party vibes

Cliff Bell's: what do users think?
miles fitzpatrick: Very cool vibe… Jazz Club in Downtown Detroit. Okay, you’re gonna spend some money here but it’s well worth it!! Dinner was very tasty. My wife and I had the shrimp appetizers and then had a couple of drinks.
Consuelo Marín ordoñez: Excelente
Vlad Tovbin: Amazing vibe , tradition, highest level jazz music and atmosphere. Remarkable food drinks and entertainment
Lélia Ramos: Bacana voltar na história dos tempos aureos da cidade de Detroit. O bar, que traz shows de jazz, foi restaurado totalmente mantendo a arquitetura e decoração da época.Necessita de reserva para os horários dos shows
Felicia Montgomery: My son in law is the head chef. Loved it!!! Period pooh!!!
Yujin Julia Jung: Unexpectedly pleasant surprise! A great classy jazz place in the city. Bartender was extremely nice, the quality of old-fashioned drink was pleasant, and the jazz performance was outstanding.
Randy D: Great listening and dining experience
L'aShawn Dallas: Loved the atmosphere, food, and service!
Brian Ross: We saw an afternoon show at the Fox, needed a place to grab dinner, and happily stumbled upon Cliff Bell's (which is just around the corner). Interesting cocktails, excellent food, and (most importantly) exquisite jazz will have us coming back for more! Catch an early show at the Fox, then get dinner and a world-class jazz concert at Cliff Bell's
Mike Hunt: Awful service and a cocky and dismissive owner. Stay far away from this place!!!
W. G. Maciel: Foi uma experiência muito agradável. O espaço é histórico e o show de jazz de altíssimo nível.
Tim Bresnahan: Great food, service and entertainment. Where else can you get that in one venue?
Felicia: I had a wonderful time here. The food was excellent, I had fried shrimp & the dipping sauce was amazing! The live jazz was very good! Our waitress was very attentive to us! It was a bit pricey, but the experience was well worth it.
Tommy Bee: AMAZING MUSIC AND INCREDIBLE FOOD.I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU COMING TO CLIFF BELL'S AND DIG THIS SCENE.IT'S A LITTLE TASTE OF THE MOTOR CITY'S STYLE AND CLASS
Archak: music really good, server pushes a bit to pay quickly, unable to relax
Kristofor Harrison: Classy... Tasteful... Nostalgic...
Elon Williams: Love the food and enjoyed the music. Looking forward to the next time.
Steve Tymczak: Amazing interior design transporting you back in time to when jazz clubs were first popular in the 30s. Excellent entertainment, service, food, and drink selections
Darla.B: Amazing musicians!
David Zlo: One of my favorite spots in Detroit. Always great music, tasty food and amazing atmosphere. The place is pricey, but worth the money.
lina allen: I had an amazing night. I took my honey there for day 2 of his birthday and i didn't want to leave. My first food choice, lamb wasn’t the greatest but the steak was awesome. And the band… BRAVO!!!! The servers were attentive and the host made you feel welcome as soon as you walk in.. i will definitely return!!!

El Club: what do users think?
Ever Eschenweck: So dang hot in here, vibes cool though
Chloe Weaver: Great acoustics and great music
Joel Watson: I like this venue alot...small, but the place is cool, the drinks are reasonable, and the sound is fair, given the size
Gabe Jackson: Sound was good for Roc Marciano, who is the pinnacle of live hip hop. Sounded better live, which is crazy to say
Erica Kalmerton: Great little club. Hard to see as the area where they set up the band can't fit all the people in it. But they do have tvs around broadcasting the performance which helps. Nice outdoor area. Typical club prices for drinks
Ej Dowling: Great venue. Nice vibe. Lack of parking is not terrible due to street parking. Drinks a bit pricey but the orange green tea was delicious. Sold out show meant we couldn't even get into the room. But at least we could semi see from the bar. Outdoor area is nice.
Randy Gray: Great place to see a show. Small and intimate. Sounds great. Everything about this place is cool
1-4 Nitzo: Dope Spot
julie Hines: What a great space!!
John Trummer: This place is dope. My SO's fav band (Weval) had this place on its new album tour...Great vibe, perfectly designed for small concerts.Friendly and fast staff. Keep doing what you're dojng!
Elise Bancroft: Ive been here 2 times. Cool venu! Always way oversold and packed. Makes it hard to enjoy yourself when you can't move your arms 😂 Taco truck across the street is delicious and the bakery next door is amazing! Worth stopping before any show
Joshua Summerlin: Awesome place, will definitely return!
Clara Couvillon: Saw War & Treaty here with William Prince opening the show and it was awesome. Small space but the intimate show was beautiful. War & Treaty brought down the house. Would definitely come back to see a show.
kelly mcdermott: This is a great venue to see a show. I love the character, the bar, and the ceiling is amazing. Totally love that they have an outdoor area too. We saw War & Treaty ... the whole vibe was perfect the whole night. Very mixed crowd of people too.
Leslie Aretakis: Love the venue! I like a more intimate style while listening to indie artists. 10 outta 10, would recommend!
Jonah Roznowski: Over sold shows, unsafe with how oversold their shows are. Avoid going here
Mikal West: Cool smaller music venue.Drink prices pretty average, selection was good. For a sold out show, drink lines were reasonable if you picked your moments. Minimal wait for mens room, looked like a decent line for the ladies room for much of the night.Large outdoor area for smoking or getting some fresh air.Sound is great if you are in the main room, but it was uncomfortably packed for a sold out show. Even if you get a decent spot, it's a huge hassle getting in and out through the crowd to piss or get a drink. From the bar area you can hear the music, yet with poor sound quality and see a grainy imagine of the artist on flat screens. For a show that isn't over sold the place is great.
Art Brownell: Went to War & Treaty concert. Excellent show! They are getting the attention they deserve. Too bad El Club isn't a little larger on the music side for shows like this.
Kurtis Moore: Oversold showsDangerously packed venueSold out shows and they still sell tickets at the doorMoney hungry at the risk of safety
David Birch: Good venue, don't forget hearing protection as it gets LOUD
Abigail Bolen: Really a smaller venue but the vibes were immaculate and we had a lovely time.

The Monarch Club: what do users think?
Cris Sinnott: Great drinks, service, viewsFood: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Alexandra Walker: As a native Detroiter, and a frequent visitor of the Monarch Club, I am beyond disappointed in my experience on the 5/28/23. I came to Monarch as a walk-in and was told that my party would have to leave within the hour because of an incoming reservation, although we were literally three of 10 guests in the entire venue. But nonetheless, we continued to order drinks. I ordered an espresso martini with tequila and a splash of baileys. When the drink came out, I reminded the waitress that I had requested baileys in which she responded that she totally forgot and she took the drink back. She brought back an entire new drink, which was completely white in color and tasted as if, they had forgotten the espresso. She agreed the color was totally off and took it back to be remade again. The final time it was brought out, it tasted totally disgusting and as if they had used old and expired coffee grounds, so I took one sip, set it to the side and decided I wouldn't drink it because it was so gross but would pay since they remade it a couple of times (because of their shortfall). I ordered an entirely new drink and and when the receipt came, I realized the espresso martini costs a romping $38!. Because I didn't drink it, I thought I would talk to the manager. He proceeded to come and eyeball the drink twice before speaking, as to almost make sure that I wasn't lying about how much I drank. Then yelled at me about having to cover their liquor costs and he wasn't interested in my opinions but only the facts, as he proceeded to clap his hands while talking to me. Not only was his behavior hostile but embracing to myself and my friend. So of course I was made to buy a $38 cocktail that I took literally a sip out of. I am astonished, at how I was treated and felt like even race seemed to be a part of how he decided to handle the situation. I hope that this manager is dealt with appropriately as to save others from having this encounter.
Chris Paetzke: Great experience
Julie Cicerone: Beautiful rooftop views! Service, drinks and small plates all great! Please enforce your dress code and this will be a top notch place to go in Detroit.
Lynda Fleek: Drinks and food were average and highly priced. Had just finished our food and still had drinks when the manager asked us to leave because they were closed and needed to mop. They close at 12 and it was 12:11.... Just sayin. Horrible hospitality
Gary R: WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! The Manager has to go! Please take my advice and stay away from this place! The manager is definitely the most arrogant and rude individual in the restaurant/bar industry. Before I explain, read the "lowest" reviews first and compare those reviews to any other similar establishment anywhere in the country! This guy is on some kind of power hunger trip. Here is our story; 5 of us were in town on a business trip. Very early in the evening (approx 5:30) we walked from our downtown hotel for a drink. We asked for a table on the terrace but were told that they were taken by reservations. So, we sat at the bar for half of our drink. Then we decided to take our drinks to the terrace simply to see the view. We asked a server if it would be OK. Two of us sat at a 2 chair table, not really thinking it was a problem. All of us are professional, polite and peaceful individuals. We definitely would have gave the table up "if" anyone came in. Now, please understand that there were a lot of empty tables. Then, out of no where the "POWER HUNGRY MANAGER" came screaming in a loud angry voice to get up. We were shocked at his agressive and rude reaction. We stood up to leave. We walked into the bar and my wife asked him why he was so angry. He was shaking in anger and talking loud, aggressive and rude in front of all the customers. My wife told him that we wouldn't be back. He actually said "good, shut up and get out or I will escort you out". I didn't hear that or Ivwould have been escorted out!!! One of the guys that did hear, told him that he should be embarrassed talking to a lady like that. The manager told him to leave. So...we all did. We have brought several of our top clients there on different occasions but never again! PS...we walked a few blocks to the MGM Casino and had a great evening.
Julian Castro: Visited the place to find a great spot for business meetings and great cocktails only to find that the manager was very rude. He literally kicked us out of the place and said “I do not care if you ever come back” very sad to find this guy does not care about new customers and have no concern for customer service. Will never visit or recommend this place to any friend or customer.
Stephen F. Takach: Elegant location. Beautiful views from the terrace. Visited with my family to celebrate my daughter's having taken a new job.
Val M: Beautiful space, nice staff and wonderful views. The drinks are really good, price is $18-20 per cocktail. Worth it for the experience. I went on a rainy Tuesday, so it was not busy. Reservations are probably essential for a nice day or weekend. I'll definitely return when I visit Detroit again. Perfect for date night. Can't comment on the food, I was only here for drinks.
Lucy Madrigal: Awesome gem of a place with a great rooftop vibe & view. Only had drinks.
Denise Rouse: Chef James. Thank you for the spectacular friendship! We will certainly be back to see you. Our drink server was spot on. Thank you for a great experience!
Jen German: Excellent service!!!
Jonathon Tryszczyla: Stopped in for some late night drinks at sunset for a friends birthday. The drinks were tasty, and our curly dark haired server was awesome…she was attentive and sweet! Definitely worth the price to enjoy the view by the fire…check it out!
Julie Vaughn: Fun bar. Great views. Was too cold to be outside but snuck out for a view.Tequila espresso martini. Quite good.
Gebo's Garage: MAKE RESERVATIONS! This is a popular place. Come into the building, take the elevator to PH. You'll be met by the host just outside the elevator and escorted to your table. Be sure to check out the rooftop seating for a beautiful view of the city. Yes, the truffle fries and fish dip were very good. Excellent service and perfectly crafted cocktails. You'll love it. ❤️
Josh Culbert: I really want to like this place, as I stay frequently at the Element hotel, and the views of downtown are great. But, the attitude of the management/staff and the slow service that many are complaining about is a real problem when your trying to sell $20-$30 cocktails in the Midwest. The approach seems to be to have everyone wait at the front rope to create some false elitist atmosphere until one of their overdressed hosts blesses you with one of the many empty tables available. Detroit is not New York, London or Los Angeles, people aren’t going to return to phony luxury just to look off the roof at 5 story buildings on Woodward.
Tangie Davis-Johnson: You gotta see it for yourself! The views from the roof top, The Monarch Club, are gorgeous!
Brennan Callahan: Waited 15-20 minutes for a server then left after 10 more minutes because our drinks weren’t started yet. Extremely noisy environment with employees who would rather socialize than serve guests. The manager walked around the bar on his phone not seeming to care what was going on in front of his face.
David Sayah: I’ve been here a few time, added photos from multiple visits including todays. Decent drinks, great outdoor views of the city on the 13th floor, decent food, great service! A nice bar option for Detroit views.
Patricia Watkins: The Monarch Club is a perfect place to start an evening, a photographers happy spot inside & outside. Intimate, yet cozy, small plates, drinks & conversation....
Toadnurse: None of the cocktails sounded good so they quickly modified one for my liking, then I showed them something I do at home and they decided to make note.

Tin Roof Detroit: what do users think?
Anne Herrmann: Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5More
Dino Torres: Bartenders take forever to get to you and every floor except for the roof and outside is so loud you can't even hear anyone next to you. Don't order anything other than shots because the bartenders won't make it.
Thaddeus Juan Walker Sr.: The sad part is that theyre missin out on Detroits energy! Were not big on Country & Western but they wanna keep shovin it down folks throats! They need to come into the city and use its musicians more…Detroit has a sound believe it or not!…🤷🏽‍♂️
The Official Josey Joe: Throughly enjoyed this place! Love that it’s a mixed and diverse crowd!
Matt Hotel: So fun!! Went there before and after a tigers game!
Seth Kleinglass: Nice bar with cool outdoor patio. Great spot for before a ball game.
Suzanne Secor: The service was good but both women’s bathrooms were horrible! They were bad before they got busy so I can’t imagine how bad they would be after the crowds got bad.
I Was Made for the Nomad Life: As I read through the other reviews I can't help to wonder how in the world this place receives such stellar comments. Maybe they were having an off day when we came in. I thought bars were supposed to be able to handle busy times and events being as they are across from comerica Park baseball stadium. Our burgers were done and sitting on a counter for at least 30 minutes but I couldn't get the attention of anyone to check. $30 for 2 burgers that were tiny and just nasty tasting. We were there during the climb for air. I will not revisit. My opinion is just that, my opinion. By all means do not let that keep you from trying it. It seems more a place for drinking, however my rum runner was almost just pineapple and orange juice . Best rum runners are at Ocean Deck in Daytona Beach.
Richard Winbigler: Great view and good food... relaxing.
Paul Wezner: Rude bartender, didn't honor the pedal pub discounts we were supposed to get
Isaac Shure: Friendly staff and tasty food
Jessica Spiegelberg: Delicious food, great location to Comerica and surrounding. Our family of 4 wanted a unique spot for lunch during our visit, the kids enjoyed the scenery from the rooftop bar, we ALL enjoyed the food (even our picky little eaters!), and although it was a bar and probably not a great spot for kids at night, during the day it was a nice option. *Roof top doesn't have servers, so scan the menu and order at the bar.Chips and salsa, cheeseburger, Casear wrap, BBQ quesadilla, and pulled pork bbq sandwich.
Dan Tripoli: Fun bar to grab a beer on the rooftop.
Kelly L: Saw someone order a "special drink" IYKYK had the hardest laugh. Great location. Right beside Tiger stadium. Glad we stopped in.
Yujin Julia Jung: Great view towards stadium. Quite smaller rooftop than I was expecting, but the vibe was still fun.
Jack Helminski: Excellent food excellent service good atmosphere a place that I can really call a top-rated Lounge
Mike Dockus: Great place to go before a Tiger game.
Emil Kyek: Good live rock music
Danny Grudzinskas: Good beer selection prompt service
Jay Ambrozy: Awesome
E Walton: The pizza was okay. They had a good service

Second Best: what do users think?
michael c: I came here accidentally at the same time as a huge crowd of people that were awaiting a nearby concert and despite it being elbow to elbow my friends and I were able to get drinks and food ordered and served all within about 30 mins! We all had the chicken sandwich and potato wedges, actually Almost every person that ordered food there had the same meal, so you know it's a winner from that alone. The interior was well designed, the drinks were great, and the staff were on top of things. I highly recommend Second Best!
Bethany Cardona: got the chicken sandwich and the cheese curds and they were both AMAZZZINGGGGG
Corie Johnson: Food was really good, staff was aloof and not really welcoming but of course, it is downtown Detroit so I'm not surprised won't go out my way to return
Heather Miller: Very cute little bar. Food was pretty good. The Gummy Bear was pretty epic. Tastes just like a gummy bear....be careful!! 😁 Prices are reasonable! Gummy Bear was $12. Sandwich was $13.
Junk Man: The bar is pretty cool. The bar seating is very comfortable. The service is not particularly friendly or welcoming. Not the kinda place that makes you feel like your at home. Not rude, just didn't stand out as friendly as some other places are.
Derek (Hurfone): Still the 2nd best place in the city. Great pub style food , drinks and beer selection. Great atmosphere centrally located in midtown. Small outdoor seating area. Their are also a couple of pub style arcade games.
Thomas Reid: Don't miss the hot chicken sandwich!
Alicia Branch: Chill place to grab a good drink and catch a vibe. They serve food as well, the chicken sandwich is amazing!! I love the Gimlets too!
Julian Aidan: (Not so secretly) an excellent cocktail bar.
Zac Sackko: Sick vibe, cool crowd, good music, awesome food. Wish they had more ciders tho.
Samantha Sanchez: After date night dinner at Bakersfield, we stopped in at Second Best for a night cap to finish off our night. They weren't busy, they were cleaning bottles off around 845 pm. We sat at the bar, staff was attentive and friendly. I highly suggest the Gummi Bear Drink! We will stop in again maybe even give the apps a try next time!
Abdelkader Fares: The fried chicken sandwich tastes like an authentic Nashville hot chicken sandwich, and it is absolutely delicious. It is relatively expensive but well worth the price! I really had nothing bad to say about it and I am confident to say it is probably the best one I've had in Michigan. I will definitely be returning just for that sandwich.
Karen Donald: Staff and atmosphere is amazing! The food was EXTREMELY salty and not good. So disappointed
D B: Very rude service by female bartender. Not friendly to people of color.
Sam I Am: Good bar to watch a game
Tyler Pattullo: Great bar with friendly staff. Awesome place to meet up with friends.
Dino Torres: Sometimes it's to loud to even hear the person next to you talk. Other times it's perfect! That just means that there's a time and place for everyone and if you get a cocktail it will be well made!
Keith Becker - Becker Home Advisors: We love this bar. It is absolutely fantastic! We always come here before or after when we have reservations across the street at their sister restaurant, Grey Ghost. It has the feel of a dive bar but not dive bar food even though it is served in plastic baskets. And they make cocktails as well...not just drinks...cocktails! Like a Smoked Old Fashioned or Smoked Margareta or Rock & Rye made with Rye whiskey and house made Rock & Rye soda. The Nashville hot chicken sandwich is a must try, and be sure to get it with a side of potato wedges. Their Jamacian short rib beef pies with curry sauce melt in your mouth and are so rich and delicious. They recently had chicken wings as a special, and they were some of the best wings we have ever had. They need to add them to their regular menu.Bottom line...don't hesitate if you are thinking of checking them out everything is delicious.Keep in mind that it can get crowded here before and after events at Little Caesars Arena.
Scott McIntyre: I usually love Grey Ghost, Second Best, and Basan. Spent a lot of time and money over the years. Last night I purchased a round of drinks for five of us, standing along the side wall. I went to the bathroom, came back, and my high noon was "cleaned up". A normal human being after this accident would have replaced the drink (thats good service for an accident). She went and got the bouncer and had me escorted out of the building. I was sober lol. Won't be back.
Lance Peters: Without Nick this place is a 3 star. With Nick this is one of the best customer services I’ve had the best experience downtown I’ve had in years. Good wings and good deals during the Lions game.
Megan Sonnenberg: Great place to watch the lions game. Friendly staff and good drinks!
