J D: Hands down the best petshop around. This is not just a pet store, it's a destination. The atmosphere is amazing with animals at every corner. The entire store is clean and tidy, the animals are exceptionally well taken care of, great selection of food, supplies, enclosures and the staff is not only knowledgeable, but they are friendly and talk to you, not at you.If you haven't been here yet, you need to get there soon!

Devon Green: Great shop! Very clean with a large variety of reptiles, birds and small mammals that all seem well cared for! You don't always get that in pet shops unfortunately. It's refreshing to see reptiles properly housed in clean enclosures. There are two large rabbits that roam the store that are very cool to pet and feed. Sometimes with these types of shops the animals they're trying to sell feel like a product and not something that needs to be cared for. I think if you by from this place you'll be buying healthy animals. Kudos to this shop!

Graceful Wings: A friend went in the store yesterday and two conures for sale. No Conure toys. The cages were nasty and moldy. THIS OUGHT TO BE AGAINST THE LAW TO SELL BIRDS IF YOU CANT TAKE CARE OF THEM IN THE STORE!I have a picture of the two cage. Nasty water. These birds will be sick if they aren't already. PETCO is getting worse and worse and the prices are RIDICULOUS. Before the pandemic they were 250-350. $ 899.00 is outrageous and uncalled for.THE TWO HANGING LINKS ARE NOT TOYS AT ALL. They can't even play. They just sit there day after day. SHAME ON YOU. Whomever the manager is, NEEDS TO BE FIRED. There are plenty people that love to work. GET RID OF THOSE WHO DON'T GIVE A FLUP ABOUT THE BIRDS. They are NOT like cats & Dogs. They need toys. Something to chew!I hope the government stops you from selling precious birds.

Hannah: Trying to book through their app makes it impossible to get both of my dogs groomed anywhere near the same time. I’ll go somewhere else then because not only is that obnoxious it’s incredibly wasteful. Why would I drive there twice and why should I have to take time off of work to be able to get both dogs groomed in the same day? Scheduled one appointment for 3:30, scheduler showing 14 available times including 2:30 and 3:00 appointments still available. Go to schedule other dog and only 7 available with nothing after 1:30. Cancel appointment and go back in all 14 afternoon times available. I’m just go somewhere that cares about efficiency.

Plus my mom dog has been whining like she got hurt. I will never take my dog or my mom dog there .

Earl Sutton: My daughter and I and my wife have taken and bought many fish from the store we run a plant life filtration system versus a carbon filtration but we find that we enjoy the fish from this store they taken have long life spans and they enjoy our fish tanks fairly well one of the things that I've put in our tank is a philodendron and one of my Japanese algae eaters has decided that it is a hammock for him but that's part of what makes him special is his personality

April Dionisi: Dropped off a small dog I found running around harper woods. Spoke with owner Kurin. She was very nice and assured me that she would make sure she would try to find the owner and not just adopt it out to just anyone.

Shamira Sinclair: Me and my family went to this adoption place because they were having an adoption event everything seemed fine until we walked in and we were the only black family in the building, now thats fine because that would be expected considering the area we live in. But the issue was every animal we wanted to see they seemed have an excuse for but other people seemed to be able to see them. We didn’t feel welcomed at all and it was just an uncomfortable experience, my brother just wanted to see a few dogs and barely saw any because they keep them hidden away yet this is supposed to be an adoption event?
Robert Dege: No kill facility. Will place animals with foster families while awaiting adoption. Adopted animals leave spade or neutered. There is an adoption fee. One-on-one meetings are scheduled to determine compatibility before adoption can take place.Every Saturday there are viewings for the purpose of adopting. Cats/kittens 10-11 am and dogs/ puppies 1-2 pm.

Scott Smith: Have always had the best luck with this place. Other major pet stores can not compare to Critters! Unique pets and the staff is always happy to help. Our kids love to make a visit to the shop and see what new things they have in the tanks or roam around the shop.
