Graceful Wings: A friend went in the store yesterday and two conures for sale. No Conure toys. The cages were nasty and moldy. THIS OUGHT TO BE AGAINST THE LAW TO SELL BIRDS IF YOU CANT TAKE CARE OF THEM IN THE STORE!I have a picture of the two cage. Nasty water. These birds will be sick if they aren't already. PETCO is getting worse and worse and the prices are RIDICULOUS. Before the pandemic they were 250-350. $ 899.00 is outrageous and uncalled for.THE TWO HANGING LINKS ARE NOT TOYS AT ALL. They can't even play. They just sit there day after day. SHAME ON YOU. Whomever the manager is, NEEDS TO BE FIRED. There are plenty people that love to work. GET RID OF THOSE WHO DON'T GIVE A FLUP ABOUT THE BIRDS. They are NOT like cats & Dogs. They need toys. Something to chew!I hope the government stops you from selling precious birds.

Hannah: Trying to book through their app makes it impossible to get both of my dogs groomed anywhere near the same time. I’ll go somewhere else then because not only is that obnoxious it’s incredibly wasteful. Why would I drive there twice and why should I have to take time off of work to be able to get both dogs groomed in the same day? Scheduled one appointment for 3:30, scheduler showing 14 available times including 2:30 and 3:00 appointments still available. Go to schedule other dog and only 7 available with nothing after 1:30. Cancel appointment and go back in all 14 afternoon times available. I’m just go somewhere that cares about efficiency.

They never answer the phone or call you back when u leave a message. So unprofessional. I recently took my mom dog an she came out looking worse when they got through. Plus my mom dog has been whining like she got hurt. I will never take my dog or my mom dog there .

Have to ding a star for the store review because you can’t come see the animals to browse, so the in-store experience isn’t great. However, I trust them with their care and expertise, and that matters most!

Marissa Ramirez: The mother and daughter that run this shop are beyond rude!!! First of all, they cut anyone down who asks questions. Their shop smelled unclean and it makes me worried about the care their reptiles receive. Take a look at the other reviews, any time another person says the owners were rude, the owner doesn’t apologize for their bad experience and instead begins to cut them down. I think that is very telling of the customer service you would receive here. I would never spend my money here.

These gals are personable and friendly and give the best care advice. They have great prices too. I get all my feeders from them, too. The best reptile shop I've been to. Highly recommend.

Laura Brock: 1. They are rude and extremely unhelpful. We had a bearded less than a week and went to buy all the proper equipment. A 4x2x2, an arcadia t5 at 12% and so.e other items. The lady told me in her first sentence, your baby is going to Die! Scare tactics don't work with us! We found it very rude. Also, the store is not ADA compliant, so my husband couldn't shop. But then again, you can't actually shop the store. Only 4 ft is open to the public. This was a negative experience all around. Thankfully we found another small business who was patient, kind and jnowlegable. Just because you've been in business 20 years doesn't meant you know it all. Actually, this little knowledge that was imparted was out dated. Was a huge disappointment.

Tim Wheeler: I bought a bearded dragon from this place approximately 4-5 months ago. A baby hypo leatherback pos. He/she has shed 2-3 times in that time span. Which is completely irregular from my experience. He/she are just about the same exact size as the day they were purchased. On another note they have been consistently breathing extremely heavy, which could be possible signs of a RI but since the heavy breathing is consistent and ongoing for quite some time i don’t believe this is the case. Don’t worry the little guy/girl is going to the vet for this issue that has been happening. Now this lack of growth and shedding has nothing to do with me on my hand, as i’ve done countless years of research own 4 other bearded dragons who thrive and have successfully grown and had no issues. I’m mostly writing this review to inform anyone who wants to purchase any reptile, but specifically bearded dragons, to be leery of the baby bearded dragons having health issues and lifelong problems due to they way they were bred.

Bic Bones: It's very small shop, and I fully support shopping small and independent. Friendly people, but you can't browse through the store anymore. It has counter service only. And if you use a debit card there is a $2.50 charge.

Cameron Shawcross: Although they have changed quite a bit in recent years this shop is the best in the area. The owners actually own the animals as pets - so they aren't just giving advice - they know what they are talking about.

Michelle Barrett: Me and a friend drove 2 hours to visit this shop based on the reviews alone. The staff was extremely helpful and gave suggestions based on your setup and type of reptile you own. They saved me from an overly pricey purchase by telling me to change the wattage of my bulb. My only complaint is you can only explore 5% of the store. The rest is closed off. It is not good for those who are claustrophobic and get anxious in small spaces. It was well worth the trip overall.

maurice nolin: This is the first review I have ever written. Today I bought a ball python and everything to take care of her. The reason for the review is the service I received.The lady who helped me was extremely knowledgeable and unbelievably helpful. She answered every question I had, helped me decide what accessories I needed without being pushy, and even helped take a bag to my car while I took the tank. She also gave me a hand made diagram showing the proper layout for the terrarium to make sure the snake had a healthy home environment.I found out that they breed their own snakes which is amazing as well!

Shayna Bennish Goldner: The owner Completely lied and misrepresented the truth when I posted a bad review in regard to a tortoise I purchased that came with a tick.Firstly, I called to ask about the lights and heating elements and did in fact state the turtle was doing well. I asked the owner mother (the elderly woman who answered the phone) if I was going to be delayed with the lights being turned off at night if it was better to keep them on for an extended period of time or if it was better to keep the heat lamp off for a little longer than normal but keep the UV light. Due to some religious obligations I was going to be delayed so I was calling to inquire what was BEST for the tortoise. She instructed me what was best and I said thank you! I never said anything about a religious ceremony or not using electricity.Secondly, you stated you were on the phone for 45 minutes with me on a Saturday but I called on Friday. The first phone call was 3 minutes. The second phone call 2 minutes and 35 seconds and the third phone call no more than 4 minutes. I checked the phone logs. So get your facts straight. Clearly if you don’t even know what day I called you can’t keep your facts right.The second phone call I called back shortly after inquiring about the lights Because that was the exact time the tick fell off the tortoise. I was so scared and worried about the tortoise! You wouldn’t even tell me if he should go to a vet. Again, it was the elderly mother I spoke too. She also told me it was impossible and began interrogating me and accusing me that I did something wrong when in fact we followed your orders to the tee.Lastly, the third phone call was indeed made by my mother who lived across the street from you. She called because my kids and I were so upset and she couldn’t believe after all the support and business we gave you over the years that you would treat us this way. She called to see if perhaps there was a misunderstanding. This time the younger owner (the daughter) spoke to my mother. And my mother was treated with rudeness.All we wanted was to know if the Tortoise was going to be ok. We never asked for our money back or to return the tortoise. But you couldn’t take any personal responsibility or even admit it could have been possible for the tortoise to come with a tick.We love the tortoise and thankfully he appears to be doing well. I’ve already contacted a reptile vet and we will only use them in the future. But a little apology could go along way. My son visibly saw the tick on the tortoise in your store but he didn’t realize it was a tick until it fell off the tortoise. He is 10 and it was stuck near his tail so my son thought it was part of the tortoise’s private parts.I’m sure you try really hard to take care of your pets and I wasn’t trying to blame you I was only looking for guidance and to help the tortoise.For you to blame me and misconstrue a story about a “religious ceremony” is racist and antisemitic You clearly hate Jewish people. That terminology was never used by me. I was trying to briefly explain to your elderly mother why I might be delayed with the lights and was brainstorming what would be the best solution. I never said anything about not using electricity. This is how hate crimes continue, people blowing stories out of proportion with lies.If you would have just said that you were sorry and that perhaps the tick was there and the elderly mother missed it but then advised me the tortoise wasn’t harmed …that kindness would have went a long way.

It was odd that we were not able to see the pets before purchase. You have to order the pets online and pick them up at the store. Please do not shop here.

I love that this is within walking distance and my dog loves to explore everything within her reach, opposed to big-named stores where she usually doesn’t seem interested in checking out anything. I have yet to buy anything here that hasn’t been far above average in quality and prices are good too. Staff has always been welcoming and friendly, plus they have Apple Pay, which is helpful since I don’t like to carry cards or cash on me while my dog and I walk. The only negative is I feel there are too many options within such a small space and it just feels a little crowded.
