Cinema Detroit: what do users think?
Vstang 60: A great place to watch a movie. Love the ambiance of the building. The staff are very professional. 👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿
Omar Faruque: Nice theater. Has parking.
Ron Reed: This is where you can watch indy films in Detroit. Good parking and a good snack bar. The seating is not typical theater se a ting, but pretty comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Benoît Majerus: A miracle. This place is just amazing. Excellent programmation. Nice staff.
leah labean: I went their with my brother dad and his girlfriend we were justing thinking let’s go see a movie and this popped up and we didn’t think their was an actual cinema their and it is it so beautiful and historical absolutely amazing
Justin McLaughlin: One of my favorite places in Detroit!
Justin: Cool neighborhood theater. We caught buffed up here tonight but they show all kinds of indie films.
Vapor K8: Old-style film house with low-to-the-ground; slightly reclining, but comfy seating. Patrons were respectful of the quiet needed to get dialog, especially from the older movie we were watching. I noticed however, that Subtitles, in the upcoming Preview snippets, were impossible to read because our seating was on the same flat surface as the seats directly in front of us. Movies shown though, are consistently thought-provoking, as was the one i attended (a James Baldwin documentary) recently.
Shea Schoenberg: I love this movie house! Great film selections, good snacks and the old school seating I even appreciate.
Sandra Carter: I love the old fashion look. As soon as we walked up too the the ticket booth my 17year old daughter said, “ WOW “. I feel like I just step back into the past. And the price is not too bad either
Darryl Motley: A very nice theatre with all the latest amenities
Jerry Kitchen: I’ll be back ❤️
Mara Furlich: New to the city and am so glad to have found a theater that offers independent films. It’s no fuss, if you’re looking for a recliner chair you’ll have to drive out to the suburbs. The staff are kind and popcorn salty. I also greatly appreciate the fact that they are still maintaining covid protocols to try to reduce patrons’ risk of infection. While the rest of the world may have embraced covid, those in the disability/chronic illness community do not have the luxury of risking repeat infections. It’s nice to feel safer and welcome here. Thank you.
G: My partner and I, who live over in Lansing, were excited to visit Cinema Detroit for the first time to attend a showing of Lost Highway, until disaster struck and our transmission went out.I won't say we bought a new car just to attend... but it was an extremely powerful motivator. We not only made the show, but fell a little in love with this fantastic indie theater. The atmosphere and staff are wonderfully welcoming. They show movies you won't find elsewhere in the area. Do check it out!
Erik Mylenek: Good underground cinema house. Sound could be better.
Marie Crafts: It's a beautiful place. The staff is very friendly.
Sarah Karner: Love this place.
BC Starr: Good staff very welcoming.
Mark Sweetman: If you want luxury, not for you. If you want fine art, come here.
Angelo Sherman: Saw the premier of the black panther...2017 .We practically had the whole place to ourselves.Nice staff and great atmosphere... definitely old school no pun intended.

Bel Air Luxury Cinema: what do users think?
Maurita Grimes: Love my local theater
laveta davenport: I give Bel Air 5 Stars! I hosted a private screening of the Little Mermaid, and i'm so glad that I did! The service, popcorn, drinks, movie, nachos, hot cheese, jalapenos! My guests enjoyed it all!
Noel Robertson: The place was clean and quiet. The concession stand was clean the food and drinks was tasty 😋. I will be back
Valerie King: Great place for a movie
Amey Thomas: Love this place. Friendly staff. Beautiful inside. Best popcorn around.
Helen Giles: It was nice and cold. There weren't but a few people about 8 there. The seats ate comfortable but do not recline. There wasn't a lot to choose from to watch that day.
Melvin Burns: Great Great Great Theatre
Larry: Had theater all to my self came at right time
darcelious simmons: Nice neighborhood quick stop.
trey: the movie sceen was alll black u couldn't even seen the ads if i could rate this 0 stars i would personally i wouldn't even come back to this movie the movie came on and it was still black i went to see super mario and i waste 40 dollars to not see anything stayed like the photo the hole time
Larry Taylor: Great
Ellisa Nelson: It was a beautiful theater. I had an amazing movie going experience
Susan Christie: Popcorn was the best I've had in Metto Detroit area. 2 ppl $22. Tickets & 1 extra LG. Popcorn w/ lg. 2 drinks $22. Parking lot needs work & way better lights but movie, seating, legroom, &cleanliness was good.
Nichelle Haith: The first face I seen was at the ticket counter and he was an older gentleman possibly the manager. When I reached the counter he had his head down reading something, he raised his head looked me in my eyes and put his head back down about 30 seconds passed and he looks at me again and didn’t say a word. He displayed no customer service skills whatsoever. When I got to the theater door popcorn was everywhere I couldn’t even step over it. Inside the theater was worst. Nachos in seats soda spilled candy litter in every single row. I did not have a good experience on March 31. I did go to the ten o’clock showing but there we’re only 8 people in there so no excuse why to place wasn’t cleaned. Anyway no more late shows up there for me.
Leonard Curry: I LOVE this place 😍😍😍😍
David Howard: John Wick was great
Joyce Ann Alfred, BA: I'm grateful they're still open and I can enjoy a place within the city of Detroit with my child as my parents did with me! Thank you!
Black Pill: Was really fun but I don't like how people don't clean up after there staff
Libra Xoxo: I love coming here so much. It's literally so comfortable and peaceful here. I also love the food. I just hate that every time I come the cheesesticks be out which is my fav...
Dedan Douglas: Last time I was here , was the nutty professor and New Jersey Drive was playing!! Lol..
Kanisha Houston: Too many come after 5pm. They weren't quiet during the movie

Senate Theater: what do users think?
Mark Lewis: Great silent movie. The organist (Scott Smith) was awesome!
Belinda Massey: Went to see a play was cool...Lighting was good easy parking entrance and exit...didn't like barrooms being upstairs not good for handicap people
Ema: Went to see their animation fest, it was fun! The pipe organ was beautiful.
Twonni Mathis: Visited this theatre for the first for the 8th Annual Detroit International Festival of Animation and it was super cool. There was hot dogs, pop corn with a variety of sodas and candy to choose from. It was nice to learn a bit about its history and the Organ Overture was amazing!
Mali: Went for the Animation Festival. First time going and first time being in the theater. Been there since 1929. They are raising money for renovations. Everyone was friendly.
Edgard Alicea: Love the vibe and the volunteers are so kind I like the fact that I don.t feel discriminated against when I go with someone to the event I will try my best to go to alot of the shows would to see old kung-fu movies in there one day like 5 deadly vemons
Jerry Perzanowski: Great theater with a rich history (and a Mighty Wurlitzer!)
April S: This place is part of historic Southwest Detroit. I really enjoyed the "stand still in time artifacts" in the lobby and bathroom. One of the owners was a little uptight about running a credit card for popcorn but we got through it.
Kristina Spear: Had the opportunity to walk through the organ chambers. Beautiful place, so glad it is being restored and preserved.
Shaun Hayes: Great classic theater vibes. They usually show a pretty good selection of movies and do a great job with the overall customer experience. Cool selection of posters and t-shirts as well. The restrooms could use some improvements.
Paul Keenan: Eclectic old theater going experience, complete with an organ performance, cheap concessions, and classic films. Makes for a charming evening.
Ernestine Howse: It was Awesome All the Storytellers was great.Mrs Alberta did an excellent job.
crocusvernus: The theater itself is not nice. The women's restrooms had no lock on the doors and they are upstairs, so very hard for people with disabilities to access. The show we watched was so worth it though, Ballet folklorico de Detroit, amazing talent!
Linuxfox00: Closest place in Michigan to me to come listen to theater organ. I was never really a fan of organ music before coming here but I am now. Everyone should check out this place and give it a listen.
LuckeySev: Fun very Nostalgic. Old-school movies felt like time traveling.
Bionic Wonder: Loved it! Very nostalgic! Artsy feel! Great staff! Great concession stand prices. The organist and live organ playing was such a nicely added treat. The Christmas songs were great to hear for the season. We really enjoyed ourselves. We will be back again.
Rae: Went there for the first time to see Halloween. It’s a very welcoming atmosphere with drinks and snacks too! Can’t forget the beautiful and powerful Wurlitzer organ! A one of a kind experience! If you’re looking for a nice date night this is a place to add to your list. We can’t wait to go back!
Sarah Maier: Such a unique experience! We had a blast at the "Halloween" movie showing! Will definitely return.
Robert Klacza: The Wurlitzer Pipe Organ originally was installed in the Fisher Theater in the Fisher Building in the New Center area. It was removed from there, and installed in the Iris Theater, and later moved to the Senate Theater. The organ has four keyboards and 34 ranks of pipes, numbering around 2,000. The Detroit Theater Organ Society keeps this vintage instrument very well maintained !
Richard Scott: Amazing organist accompanied silent movie. Must experience this.
Ronda Hart: Great Haunted Place
