Nick Horlock: Definitely coming back here! The restaurant is beautifully designed, delicious food, and some of the best service we have had in a very long time. We ordered the lamb chops, filet, eggplant toast and maitake mushrooms for appetizers (incredible!)As we were leaving the owner came to the table and said we needed to try their signature trileces dessert, and he gave it to us for free! My wife’s grandfather favorite desert was this, so it plucked on the heart strings. Then Alex the manager and incredible server for us gave us a wonderful gift (image attached). We will be coming back here with friends very soon!

Melissa Behring: Excellent options for small plate, sharing and or dining alone, and or in a large group or a couple. Their service was excellent and they had an amazing wine selection as well. Our server was attentive and we were able to get in and out well before our need to be at the little Caesars arena for a very popular concert later that night. It’s only a 15 to 20 minute walk or a 7 to 10 minute Uber ride depending upon your spry-ness.

Jill Zachmann: Immature Upscale Dining.Upscale dining is not only about the quality of food, it includes ambience and the overall dining experience. My husband made reservations a week prior making note that it was my birthday and a special occasion. We were greeted by a host and seated at the smallest bistro table in the restaurant near the Front door located in the bar area. We asked if they could provide us with a more suitable table for this occasion. We were told unfortunately nothing was available but they could accommodate us to a bar high top (As of the bar was a better option!?!). We decided to leave and book a reservation at a more seasoned establishment.For a dining experience costing $300 plus this is far from acceptable and this experience speaks for itself.Their menu clearly states, “Our guests before ourselves”, however I experienced quite the opposite.

The parking was in a lot across the street but Besa offers a small validation fee. Ava was our hostess and she was very accommodating. She even made me a special drink! I ordered the chicken breast dish with some moderate changes and the tres leches cake... Delish!10 out of 10 recommend

Jasmine Irani: The Whitney Mansion is a beautiful property with a lot of history. I visited the Ghost Bar on the 3rd floor and ordered the "Witching Hour" drink. It was supposed to be layered tableside, however, the mixologist looked at me from behind the bar (as though I didn't know) and made the drink at the bar. Also, the staff encourages the exploration of the mansion and the area around it (horse stables, garden, exterior of mansion, etc.). But while observing the exterior of the mansion for it's architecture, I was told to wait around in the garden at the front as though I was being suspicious. I didn't like being treated like that.

Crystal Marie: I thoroughly enjoyed the tea service at the Whitney. The staff was amazing, and I got rave reviews on my hat selection (tea time.always requires a hat, lol). The tea menu was delicious and just enough bites to accompany the tea and mimosa. YES! You heard right tea AND mimosa! We drank tea as my girlfriend and I spilled some tea too! Will definitely be returning. I wish they still did their brunch on Sundays.

The dessert was dried yellow cake with ganache on top. As I looked around I saw many plates left behind with this dessert only half eaten.The server bought out dishes before we were finished with the plate at hand. The best part of the night was our server Tiffany. She was very engaging and kind. She gave us recommendations on what to try from food to drinks and they were spot on. Tiffany is the epitome of a great server and a great asset to Parc. I wish there was a Tiffany at every restaurant I went to.

Luis M: The restaurant was kind of busy for a Tuesday afternoon but there was a pretty big convention nearby. My boss and I sat down ordered drinks and then looked at the menu. About 5 minutes later they take our order, he gets lobster rolls I get the Bolognese. 45 minutes pass and nobody checked on us. We saw other folks get their food that sat down at the same time or shortly after us. We finally flag down our server and they apologize and said they're going to go check. About 10 more minutes pass and the manager comes by and said sorry but they'll go figure out what's up. Finally a little over an hour we get our food. It's a real shame because the Bolognese was delicious. My boss said the lobster rolls were mediocre. After all that not even 10% off or like a little dessert or anything. Not mandatory but it would've gone a long way to show a little accountability for the error.

Kelly Hall: Where do I start? The Mister and I stopped in for drinks Sunday afternoon. We sat at the bar and were immediately greeted by Shakira. She offered us water and food menus. We informed her we would only be having drinks. Her level of service and friendliness remained exactly the same as she asked us what we would like to drink. Since I saw freshly squeezed lemon juice on the bar I was comfortable ordering a lemon drop martini. The Mister ordered a margarita. Shakira quickly and efficiently made us the two cocktails from scratch. She even tasted them to make sure the mix was just right before serving. Total pro move! We didn't have food so I cannot comment on that. But, if you are going to Parc for drinks I hope you are lucky enough to meet Shakira!

David Sayah: Tonight was my first time trying this restaurant. It is located inside the historic Penobscot Building in Detroit. Lovely dining experience, I arrived earlier than my guest, and was happily given a tour by the host Matt. I was able to learn the history of the restaurant, as well as the building, and chat with Matt for a few, very nice gentleman. We started at the bar and had our bartender/waitress Shelly improvise lime mocktails for us, and she did not disappoint, they were great! We made our way to the dining table where we started with the burrata caprese and made our way to the T-Bone Dry-Aged steak with a side of mac and cheese. For our dessert, we ordered the chocolate torte and biscoff cake. The only reason I’m not going through item by item is because I have one thing to say about all of them, phenomenal. I recommend every single thing listed! It was all presented beautifully as well. Big thank you to our waitress, Shelly. She was very personable and happy to share a very thorough explanation of the history of the restaurant. She also was able to go through the items on the menu to help us decide what to order. Very kind of her to provide such great service! The atmosphere is gorgeous. It’s very modern yet it somehow still has a traditional feel to it. Unfortunately, it looks like the pianist was not there today however, this just leaves another reason for me to come back soon! Kdmil: I stopped in for a quick bite after work and I wanted to make sure I left a review about my experience. I found the service to be good and the restaurant was modern and beautiful. The live music was a plus and the piano being in the middle of the dining room made the experience feel very intimate and special. I can see how this would be a great place to bring a date or a special group of friends. The main thing was the food. I had the crab cakes and a spring salad. Both were excellent, but the salad was amazing...very fresh with a wonderful champagne vinaigrette. My martini was spot on and the whole meal was a "wow"!
