7 Greens Detroit Salad Co.: what do users think?
Dishonne Bell: Food: 4/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 5/5More
Lauren M: SO GOOD. OMG. Love the Wonder Woman Burrito.I've eaten in, gotten it delivered ( when they had this available), and got take out... every single time has been great.I wish they still continued to do delivery orders and had more locations / open on weekends because I would eat there all of the time.
Jakob Senyko: Gave me food poisoning never going back. Had their chicken biggies burrito.
Ramiere: good fresh food and customer service
Brittany Kelleher: Pricey, but quality ingredients. Very refreshing. Can’t go wrong with your basic Greek salad.
Ron Reed: A great healthy choice for downtown lunch.Food: 5/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 …More
Christopher Wiley: Super friendly staff with fresh ingredients
Taylor Green: The honey oat latte is outta sight!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
S Watts: Nice big healthy salads!! The only problem is it's only downtown and not throughout the city!
L S: Food is always fresh and service is always fast and friendly.
keith wisdom: Gd. Reduce price overcharge for individual items. Salad should cost no more than 12.Greens are cheap. 8 for small bowl of greens, they should give you double amt and you should have a to go box if you spend 16 for a salad. Curry tuna is the best other then that my home salads taste better. They treat.
Audrey S.: Fantastic selection of fresh and delicious salad toppings, cozy ambience, and very friendly staff. However ... the server (who was very polite and cheerful) added more toppings than I asked for (I would ask what something was and she just added to salad, for a $1/topping). What was meant to be a simple mid-day work-week bite to eat turned into a $23 salad that was too rich and sauced to eat. The cost system for build your own salads was deceptively organized, and not very transparent. I would revisit, but I'd definitely protest if they added things I didn't ask for. Live and learn!
Margaret Fikany: Easily the best spot to grab a salad downtown. I get it about two times a week. I can’t get enough!!!!
Victor Signorelli: Driving from north to south of the city for work. Never been to Detroit so wanted to check out the stadiums. This place was great to grab something quick and healthy. Lots of great options. The Maurice salad was amazing as well as the dressing that came with it. You can eat in or take it to go.
Emily Wash: If you have an allergy of any kind or are worried about cross-contamination DO NOT GO HERE!I have a severe tree nut allergy and ordered a smoothie—when making the smoothie, the staff went off of the recipe and added granola because they were missing an ingredient. This granola happened to have pecans in it—the nut I am most allergic to.Anyways, after realizing I was having an anaphylactic reaction and urgently needed hospital attention. We promtly left, I ran over to CVS down the block, they helped to administer my Epipen, monitor my state, and called an ambulance. The owner was initially very kind and understanding at first. As a mother herself, she said she understood what it would feel like to see your child almost die (I was with my mom at the restaurant). She offered to help with the hospital and ambulance bills, or give me an Amazon gift card…I said that’s great, but I just want to make sure this never happens at your restaurant ever again. She said she wanted to meet in person to chat about better protocols and we agreed. When we were supposed to meet the following week, she went dark on us and we never heard from her again. The total for the hospital bills was $400 for the visit and $1,200 for the ambulance—this cost sucked (obviously) but the thing that left the worst taste in my mouth was that the owner left us on read. For my sake, don’t go here. It’s overpriced, the staff is not friendly, and they put random ingredients in the food. In my case, it almost killed me. Don’t let this be you!
Ali Tiktib علي تكتب: Good for first time date, couples and groups. Their prices are unbelievably convenient. I think everything is under 4 dollars, literally everything, although the servings are smaller.
Crystal Watkins: I get the Maurice Salad, with added ingredients, FABULOUS
Saad Gasgous: Doesn't get old! Great make your own salads with ton of options! Healthy healthy!
Jason S.: Las Bear with chorizo and jalapeno was life changing
Erica Hill: Great salad but the times posted don't always coincide with when they really open. I work downtown and have limited time to wait. They are sweet but I would recommend adjusting the open time if it can't be upheld. Today for example I arrived at 11:05 to a locked door and ended up walking next door to a restaurant that was open.
Amanda Foltz: Food is a overpriced and the quality has gone down recently. The chicken they use in their salads tastes canned. Has a bland taste. Paid $17 for a salad that filled about up about half of the bowl. Sadly, I won't be returning.

John Walker: The Salad & sandwich was good. I'll be back againFood: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Jorden Foster: Love this place!!! I go about 2 to 3 times a week. The customer service is great and the food is great every time!! I love the rewards you can get by going so much…. They really care about it’s customers.
Krista Kendall: This was my first time going to the big salad and the customer service was so bad. The African American lady that took my order was very rude and had a horrible attitude. She didn’t give me what I asked for and ignored what I was telling her. I’m not one to leave a bad review this is my first one. I’m my opinion I work in the food industry and I am a manager and that is not how you should treat customers especially new customers!
tamia mendenhall: Use to be my favorite spot for a couple of years but the customer service has definitely went down. I stopped going as much because the experience is not the same! I don’t like that employees don’t acknowledge their customers. It takes forever to get my order taken and when I call to place an order for pick up they never answer the phone!
Maria Cody: Been going here since high school 2017. Used to be a good spot but changed management recently and the sanitation practices has gone down a lot. Has potential but until they fix that I won’t be coming back.
Damita Maxey: This place has went downhill even further than before
Barbara Haug: I LOVE this place! I like "pick-a-pair" cuz I come for the salad but also the soup. I guess "build-your-own"isn't part of the pair, but that's ok, I love their club. The included cookie makes for the perfect ending. Always friendly service, too. I will be back soon! Oh, LOVE the Monteith artists' work on the wall, too. Thank you for supporting young artists! I wish every restaurant would do this.Vegetarian options: Get just whatever veggies your heart desires. Nice selection!Kid-friendliness: Good food choices and children's art work on the wallParking: Handy street parking. There are meters, but service is fast.Wheelchair accessibility: No steps. It'd probably help for a courteous person to hold the doorDietary restrictions: I have a food allergy they helped me accommodate.
Moriah Conley: Service was terrible.
A C: Great food and service
Tobias Davis: Markila was friendly, served me with a smile. I loved the atmosphere there at that restaurant. Keep up the great work! Oh and by the way the salad & sandwich Turkey Club was Deeeeelicious🙂Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Spicy Turkey Club …More
Katie Hackstock: We were so excited to finally try this place, as everything looks so good on their online menu. We were overall very disappointed. The portion sizes of both soup and sandwich were very small for the price. The salad had no dressing. $2.25 EACH for a chocolate chip cookie that was burned on the bottom and rock hard. My husband got the caprese sandwich and it came with one piece of spinach and a half of a tomato. These are the main ingredients of this sandwich!!! We will not be going back.
michelle frost: Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Southwest Chicken, Club, Spicy Turkey Club, Cobb, Caprese Sandwich, Greek Salad, Cobb Salad, Chicken Caesar, Soup, Absolutely WonderfulMore
Sherri White: Great place to make your own salad. I love the spicy salad dressing!!Food: 4/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 …More
Jenny Davis: Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Chicken Caesar, Absolutely WonderfulMore
Spencer Ray: I can not recommend this location until staffing issues are resolved. A pick up order of 5 items took more than an hour to prepare. (big salad's own website told us 30 mins) Dressings were ordered mixed in, but were neither mixed in or on the side. Premium toppings were paid for and missing.Their Uber eats menu is also broken, you wont be able to order anything without multiple premium ad-ons because each section is "required" with no option to skip. there is demand for this type of business here, I believe the franchise owner is missing out on revenue via missed customer turnover during rush periods.
Malia C: delicious but misleading. my family and i are loyal customers looking to carry out 2-3 times a week after we workout. unfortunately, your hours are advertised as closing at 8pm. past 2-3 trips you have been closed around 7, 1 hour before close. it’s a shame you are loosing loyal customers, and i will think twice before choosing to dine here as 7pm is an appropriate dining hour
Janie: Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5More
Ronald Slay: Food: 5/5|Service: 3/5|Atmosphere: 4/5More
Brianna Phelps: Excellent salad
Amy Marie: Staff was nice, chicken ceaser salad was good. I got the salad and sandwich combo. The caprese sandwich was garbage. I love all things tomato, basil, and mozzarella. But I took four bites out of this sandwich (two because i couldnt find anything but bread), the bread was rock hard to the point it could break teeth. The sandwich was mostly bread. With hardly anything on it. It had a balsamic vinegar instead of a glaze. I eat pretty much anything. But I actually had to throw that sandwich away.
M B: Delicious and healthy. Dan was very friendly.

Chantal cavaletto: Had a great meal here! Was looking for a place that makes daily soups and I found mine! Tried the Turkey Chili and the Potato Corn Chowder and both were to die for! Definitely gonna be trying them all one by one. Great customer service too, everyone was very nice.
Alicia Stephenson: My favorite part of my day at work is coming to Green Room for their soup!! Every morning, my co-workers & I wait for the new menu of the day to post on Instagram and we get so excited to pick which soup we’re going to get that day! I have my list of favorite soups including the chicken enchilada, lasagna soup, broccoli cheese, chicken pot pie, potato dill pickle, turkey chili, etc. But I love all of them! The salad bar is also sooo good!! There are so many options to choose from! Thank you Brian & everyone for making this our favorite place to go to & for giving me something to look forward to. You’re the best!!
Joseph Hardville: Largest variety of soups in downtown Detroit. Always hot and delicious. Stumbled upon them by accident and very glad I did so.
Jae Huth: Great spot for a BYO salad and soup. Very quick and great service.
Deema Abukhader: My favorite soup spot downtown, and I have tried just about all of them.
Olivia Zidzik: Always a variety of soups to choose from! Perfect for a midday lunch break.
Maria Brink: The best homemade soup downtown! So many options.
Kristina Mullins: Love making my own salad only issue I would say I have is it is overpriced, Dressing comes with a salad so paying to weight it is Silly to me my salad would be like $6 but because of dressing I'm paying 9. Need to rethink that!
kjh jhg: It’s very meh, clean enough but not very clean, enough selection but not great, fresh but not crisp. There was a lot of cross contamination ingredients wise.I didn’t try the soups but I’d recommend going elsewhere for a salad bar.
Delia Rios: This place so much better than the old location. Great salad choices, clean counters, bread rolls nice & fresh. I’ll definitely be back!
J L: So happy they weathered the shut down and reopened. Best lunch deal in the city, and super clean and organized.
Little Italy: So happy they opened back up! Best salads, homemade dressing and soups daily
Leor Barak: This place is great for soup and salad. Located in the beautiful Guardian Building, they have a solid salad bar, and very good soups that are not salty (as they often can be). They have a nice variety of soups, including vegetarian and vegan. Also, they have a jammin' ecclectic music playlist.
Joel Kirsch: Great ingredients and helpful staff. Lot of soup options.
NGN HTC: Their lobster bisque gave me food poisoning.
Kurtiss W.: Kinda hard to find, but this is the place to go for a good fresh, inexpensive salad. This is a self service salad bar that has many different options and choices. They charge by weight. I'll be back to this establishment again. Great if you work downtown and need a fresh meal to go.

Hannah David: Came here with my sisters over the weekend and it was amazing. The fatoosh salad and supreme chicken shawarma are my favorite things. joe31400: Came here for lunch and got it to go after seeing a good review on tiktok. I was a bit dissaplinted in the rice, it had a good taste but was wayyy too mushy. I have not had such mushy/water rice in my life, on top of that they filled 60% of the bowl with rice. The chicken was good, but the portions were very minimal. The hummus had a good taste, but was very watery. Overall, this place is a 3/5, but the service was great. I’m sure I came on a bad day, because I know the rice can be better and that portions or chicken can be better.
Rejhane Asani: omg a hummus dream - very delicious! 😍
Yessenia Alyousef: Disappointed! Ughh I been wanting to check out this place for a while. I ordered the falafel rice bowl but it looked like a falafel soup. For your reference I will attach the picture of what I was thought I was getting vs what I got.Cons:-too much tahini it hides all of the veggies. How can I taste the rest went everything is drowning in Tahini.-hummus as well as garlic sauce were runny. Can’t even tell you what they tasted like.- can’t even tell you the taste of the falafel either as the sauce covered themPros:- huge portion-falafel still crunchy after all of that sauce (hence the only reason I gave it two stars)
Dylan Limon: Lego my falafel
Pete Smith: Excellent! I had the Falafel Rice Bowl and it was made fresh to order. Absolutely delicious. And I had enough to take some with me for a snack the next day. The place is very clean; the service respectful; and a fair price. Located downtown, a few blocks walk from where I was staying at the Fort Ponchartrain Hotel. I searched Google for “salad” I believe and thankfully this place appeared. I highly recommend it.

But it didnt much seasoning but I can tell that it's on purpose. Next I'll have the Chicken Salad, which my friend ordered. It looks delicious
Darlene E Wallace: First time there on a whim!! Myself and my Niece ( Running late for the concert first time getting a chicken shawarma very good/ filling and garlicky lol I would recommend to anyone 😉Vegetarian options: If you are a vegetarian🤔
Kristin Jamali: Great service and the best homemade fattoush dressing I’ve ever had! Can’t wait to come back and try the falafel.
Sherri: Great food! The service was fast and great.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Burger, Chicken Shawarma, French Fries …More
K IP: Ordered a rice bowl for takeout and was given a Shawarma Wrap instead. Didn’t notice until I had already left the shop. Flavour was good, but the wrap was terribly messy to eat. Would rate better if they took more care in filling orders.Recommended dishes Chicken Shawarma …More
Brendan Flippin: Food is always super fresh, right off the stovetop and into your hand. One of the workers, Edward, loves to experiment and offer new sauces for the dishes, and they are always delicious. Lots of love goes into each dis
Jay Will: Terrible customer service. Wasn’t greeted, employee was too busy running his mouth with a customer about random stuff to even acknowledge I was in the building let alone take my order. I’m assuming the guy was his friend by how engaged he was in the conversation and wouldn’t even break it off to service a customer. Wouldn’t EVER step foot in there again.

Mr. Kabob Xpress Grille & Catering: what do users think?
Heather C: Mr. Kabob is an institution that started in Berkley and brings the same high quality food to downtown Detroit. Top notch fresh ingredients, excellent hummus and garlic sauce, and an easy build-your-own bowl or wrap can appeal to lots of dietary needs and tastes. In short, they serve up shawarma or shawarma bowls with lots of Mediterranean favourites like tzatziki, tabbouleh, and fattoush. Obviously grilled chicken and beef take centre stage here, but they offer a dizzying variety of veggies, sauces, and toppings to customise your meal. Shawarma on a base of brown rice? Sure! Prefer red pepper hummus? Go for it!The express means an assembly line along the grill, starting with a fresh pita or bowl, adding the base, and moving all the way along. You can order ahead but Mr. Kabob works fast. I never wait long to get piping, fresh food. Their app is easy to use and they stay busy between 11am-1pm during week days so that can help avoid the line. There's a lot of seating here and free water, but the restaurant can get awfully busy. Fortunately there's lots of seating around Cadillac Square or Campus Martius if you walk a few hundred feet.Simple, reasonably priced, and delicious: what more can you want?
Andy Frey: Great falafel. Have had other dishes. Also good quality. But I'm a fan of their falafel which I think is awesome. I'm always intimidated when I order because so much but the staff is kind. Great place to eat for lunch. But get there before noon so no waiting. But they are fast. I always get the brown rice bowl. $2 extra but worth it.
Monee Whitney: Came in at 1:50pm, when I walked in all the staff looked at me like I was bothering them. Since everyone was looking at me I asked were they closed, everyone looked around like they were trying to decide if they wanted to take another before someone finally shouted we’re closed. This place could use better customer service and employees that are willing to do their job.
Zaid Yahya: Nice place with Excellent service
ruffiØ: Still my favorite place downtown. They are short staffed so go easy on them.
Malik Rehman: Food: 5/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 3/5More
Wei Zhou (Jack Zhou): Fast and cheap
ARCHIE MOORE: Always a good good timeFood: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 …More
Jp Jonna: Great food great service even better people
Nabeel Asghar: Best kabob place in Detroit. Fast service, good food, cheap prices, and halal.Edit 2020: food is terrible now.Edit 2022: food is good again.
Brandi Barnett: Food was ok, mediocre at best. Stopped in for lunch and the employees seemed bothered and in a hurry. Yet there was no one in the restaurant and I ordered online. The food seemed overpriced for the portions. But, due to the location its understandable. Probably won't return.
Christopher Taylor: Very good food. Service is fast and friendly. Clean eating area.
Daniel Macomber: I flew in all the way from North Carolina to try this Shawarma!!! Okay, I did have a company meeting at Ford Field!!! This was the best shawarma I had eaten since eating one in Israel!!!! Authentic middle eastern taste...clean and fresh!!!! I would fly in again for another shawarma here!!! Was so good!!!
Alison Macomber: Delicious food reasonably priced, great service, and very clean!
Aaron Salo: My companion described it as Mediterranean Chipotle and that’s pretty close. Choose wrap or bowl, and move on down the line to choose protein and toppings. Not bad.
Rob H: Have had catering before and steak schwarma wraps are good.
Greg Moots: Chicken shawarma was very good. Prices are reasonable. They have Great Lakes Soda products, which is a nice touch.Vegetarian options: Offer various vegetarian options for sandwiches or bowls.
thomas rohmer: The guy was so rude, he was rushing me for no reason. I’ll never go to this location again.
