Lee Wyatt: Reposting for my friend Amy Marie ......So for anyone that might consider shopping at Hiptique on Mack, owner blasted my daughter on FB for having an anxiety disorder and then when she and her boyfriend called her to let her know they would be coming up to retrieve her consignment items called my daughters boyfriend (who is African American) a “nigwad.” Spread the word. She was on speakerphone I heard it with my own ears.

ALLEY: Not impressed with the owner threatening violence over the internet like it's funny. Doubling down on a CUSTOMER when they disagree with suggesting anyone be 'slapped like Chris Rock' for stating their opinion on a community page is ridiculous. Laura Losert: I love this shop! Hiptique Resale & Gifts is an amazing store on Mack full of reasonably priced treasures including high-quality name brand clothing. I always find something I just have to have every time I go. Today I purchased three items. The owner went out of her way to provide excellent personal service while following social distancing guidelines. Her shop was super clean, and I was offered disinfectant for my hands when entering and exiting the store. When I paid with cash, the cash was sprayed with a disinfecting solution before it was placed in the register. I highly recommend this shop.

The shop is filled with clothing for both men and women, accessories like jewelry, scarves, hats, and handbags, and well as home goods. Perfect for shopping for yourself or for others! The owner was friendly and quite helpful, pointing out items we were looking for as well as items she had recently gotten in. We both found something to buy!!

Excellent knowledge of the different brands and type of need you might have shopping for a car seat and stroller. Not only was I shown all the bells & whistles of the carseat and stroller I was buying but the car seat was installed for me as well!
Trinity Nichols: I love love love this store! The people who work here are absolutely amazing and some of the nicest people I’ve ever met! They have a great selection of baby products and toys! My favorite part of the store has to be their Jellycats though! I highly recommend this store for all baby and Jellycat needs! I imagine for those with strollers and kids this makes for a much more accessible shopping experience. Wasn't overwhelmed by the service but we did run in close to closing, although timely and efficient with our purchases. Will be back again!

Everything from clothes & games & toys to first aid and cosmetics, baby plates, cups and utensils, an amazing array of stuffed animals and more. If you ever need to pick up a gift in person, this is the best place in the metro area, for sure. They even offer gift wrap! I hope they stay open forever.

They also never pressured me to purchase a more expensive item, instead they helped me find the right fit for me. My little one is already obsessed with our purchase! She also loves going into the store and exploring their stuffed animals, because they have literally any type you could imagine!

August Nicosia: Why is this placed closed every time I try and stop by. It is Wednesday 3:50pm and the store is closed and it says on the door that it closes at 5pm. This is not a close drive for me so this is very disappointing.

Lisa Vogel: I tried shopping at this store a few times over the years. In the past, I felt it was over priced for being resale. I really hoped the new management would fix the store but still disappointed. The items are scattered everywhere so it's hard to shop with a stroller. Toys are missing pieces or appear dirty, strollers for sale out side were a lot older than expected to be, prices still not cheap for resale. Overall, I wouldn't recommend which is sad. Also a few times I drove by during open hours they did not appear to be open. So to load kids in the car for nothing wasn't appealing.

Last year a younger women, 30's, was working and she wasn't the most personable. Yesterday when I went there was a women, maybe 50's, working and I found her to be friendly towards my rambunctious 2yo boy.The clothes are in decent condition and prices are comparable to other resale shops. Excellent selection on clothing, accessories and toys.

About 3 minutes in she says i don't mean to rush you but I have to close the store early today i said, Oh okay, what time? She says at 4 PM. It was 3:57!!! HOW RUDE!!! Why even let me in at that point, you're basically kicking me out. Plus the store had a very very small selection and way OVERPRICED. I love supporting small businesses but not when they take advantage of people. (These clothes & items are USED)! Needless to say, I will not be returning.
Jennifer Smith: I love this store. Things are always clean and in good condition. The ladies are very particular about what they purchase to sell in their shop. If you find it here, it will be like-new. I have bought name-brand winter coats, snow-pants, boots and shoes here for my son and daughter, and paid less than half what I would in store or on-line. As with other re-sale shops, it is hit or miss, but most of the time I have found it to be a “hit.”
Bob Viel: I wanted to stock up on my son’s clothes for the next two sizes so I bought what would easily be $700+++ new for $70 including tax! The owner is very friendly and even took my name and number to call me when she gets what I’m still looking for. I sold a baby carrier I no longer use and got a fair price to apply to my purchase as well. I’m VERY pleased and will be back for years to come!

Kelly Hatton: Horrible experience for the first time ever going. Was recommended by a friend to sell gently used items. I was happy that I could support a family owed business. Went on Friday morning right when they opened. A VERY RUDE employee would not even look up to talk to me. She continued what she was doing and said I had to call back and make an appointment and then they can determine if I have what they need. I asked if I could make an appointment while I'm here instead of calling. Clearly she made it obvious she did not want to help me. I ended up walking out. I was very shocked and disappointed after seeing such high reviews. Not going back.
Maureen Wolfbauer: I liked the items and the quality and was pleasantly surprised by some of the brands. My only issue with the store was the price was a bit high for the items offered in comparison with other resale stores that offer comparable items (Funky Frog and Restyle Child). So all and all, nice store and items, and the owner leaves you alone to shop- which I personally prefer.
