Third Wave Music: what do users think?
Envision Studios: Great place for musicians great service very patient great atmosphere
Cj Singer: Very cool vintage equipment and the staff was great. Pretty cheap prices on bass strings as well. Worth checking out.
Anna Tomaszewski: Five stars because this is a really cool store but please fix your hours. I just drove down here with my sibling only to find out it's closed despite google saying it's open. (Wed April 27 at 1:45)
Venus Hernández: It's kind of pricey, and the parking is kind of an issue too..but it's a nice place, the guy was courteous good service
Sean: Wish they would answer the phone
Mohammed Foisal: You can get musical instruments here in reasonable price
Eric Waters: Jen and her staff are always super helpful and willing to order anything for me they don’t have in stock and at a good price.
Yousef Asiam Shuuja: Awesome products, customer service friendly & knowledgeable
jordan zielke: This place rules! What a gem of a music store to have right in the middle of Detroit. From fun and funky instruments to the necessities, little bit of everything!
Robert D: Great little place with friendly workers. This is the best spot to get a guitar set-up/repair. They focus on quality rather than quantity
Steve St. Germain: Love this shop! Last weekend they hooked me up w/ some gear for my record player- including a perfect vintage amplifier and nice set of Bose speakers. Super easy to talk with (they actually respond to customers!). I didn't have time to play w/ the acoustic guitars or all the other fun stuff they have so will definitely be stopping in again.
Matthew Hire: Awesome unique selection of guitars and tube amps, great service, and the guitar tech does a fantastic job!
Brett Red: Like it. Some Gems in there! Great staff.
Brad Potts: Brought in my Fender Jazz Bass for repair. Got it back and it plays beautifully. Great prices, awesome staff. Thx Third Wave!
Paul Emery: Really helpful staff. They know brass instruments as well as guitars.😁
Zack Walter: Great and local
Deanthony Wallace: Just perfect.
Jose Ángel Sebastián Peral: Fantastic vibes in this store, so many interesting retro and new synths at a very reasonable price
Joe Iafrate: Musical heaven at the corner of Forest and 2nd Ave! Great vintage music gear! Great store, staff and location!

Music Go Round: what do users think?
Vytautas Malesh: Absolutely wonderful shop - excellent selection of new and used gear at great prices. I stopped in here with my nephew and was really impressed - the staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. Plus? They know and appreciate Thundercat, which is worth at least 4 stars alone.
Sabrina Voiland: Great guys
Andrew Ekstrom: They are a go to place for used gear. Even though they are part of larger Corp, unlike Guitar Center, they are all franchises. And to anyone that shops there when I'm there, I appologize. I tend to talk with the staff too much. That's on me not them.
Allecia Gates: Awesome music store!! They fixed up an old guitar my students found. Made it sound goood!! and gave me a great price!!! Good people and great service!!!
Miles Huijgen: Awesome music shop with a unique inventory you won’t find anywhere else. Everything from synthesizers to flutes, they have it! Nick and his dad Keith are great owners with friendly staff. They’ve also got lots of new instruments too. Plus they put everything they have on their website. Always a great experience every time I visit!
James Blum: This place is stuffed with goodies for us incorrigible musicians. Timbales, saxophones, an electric upright bass, a DX7, on and on plus the usual guitars and so forth. Nice folks.
Guitarplayer86x: Friendly staff, great selection. Excellent place to find what you need to get started (equipment and lessons/advice). Excellent used pro audio section.
Daniel Peter: A fantastic music store. Keith, Nick, Evan, and Adam are great people, and they’ve taken MGR to a whole new level. This place has tons of gear, and a lot of unique pieces come and go. I’ve definitely found some gems at this spot, and you never know what you’re gonna find each time you visit. A very nice establishment. Well done, guys 🤙🏻🙌🏻
Amber Bowman: Terrible customer service. They don't stand behind their equipment. If there's something wrong with it they are in no hurry to fix it once they have your money. We are a family of musicians and will not be shopping here again.
Tyler Clincher: Went in just to buy strings but had to wait a couple minutes because some clown was arguing with the associate behind the counter about the price he would be getting for his amp. The worker handled it like a champ though and he got to me swiftly. It was cool to look around at everything they have too as a first time shopper. Will be returning soon
David Kreucher: Great Store! I'll be back for sure...
Do Your Job Right: Ruined my guitar twice cant trust these people (edit): according to another store these guys broke my truss rod nut and i gotta get a new neck
Anthony Freeman: Their customer service is incredible. I was selling some heavy, bulky music gear online, and I asked them to package it for me for safe shipping. They went above and beyond to thoroughly secure/protect my items, and box them up right. I was really impressed with their effort. Great people to work with at Music Go Round in Troy.
jeffrey bare: My go to spot for all of my son's instruments and accessories. Great staff
Thomas Kondoff: I have been coming here for many years to both buy and sell equipment and they are the best in the area! Great selection and great staff.
Drum With Jay: I was there to sell off a few things. Everyone there was super cool! They paid me a fair amount for a stack of drum heads I had, considering how they have to resell for a bit of profit! The store is very clean and they have lots of nice things.
Tet Suo: They have a large selection, because their items are mostly overpriced. They ask top used prices. Not a lot of deals to be had here unfortunately.
Charles Palmer: Music Go Round Is A Joy To Me. Nick Found A Part For My Guitar, And Made Me Feel Comfortable On A Very Busy Day. I Would Not Hesitate To Recommend This Location To Anyone I Know. Thank You Very Kindly Nick. I'll Be Back.
Rev Kevin Tanner Sr: My new drum store! Fast friendly courteous. Ill never set foot in another music store, the drum doctor was on point! Suggest Music go round for ALL of your music needs!
Chris Topher: Staff was rude and treated us as if we were in the way. Wanted to buy a guitar, but left out of frustration and disappointment.
Ronda Devine: Nick and his dad were wonderful to work with and I really enjoyed meeting them and the young man behind the counter. We drove 6 hours each way for drums and they were well worth it. Great experience, honest people!

Detroit Guitar: what do users think?
Tyler Willison: Fantastic store. Have bought a few guitars from them and they’re great to deal with!
Daniel Vigil: Agree that it’s a mixed bag here. The service is hit or miss. I’m also really not a fan of them calling them selves “Detroit guitar“ when they are in the wealthy suburb of Birmingham. If you want to claim the name, be in the city and contribute.
Bert Daer: I'm in my 70's. Been playing Gibson's since the middle '60's. The 50's and 60's Gibson's feel and sound 'real' to me. I have a several of them that I bought long ago. Got a super nice '52 no serial but no LP with humbuckers.I bought a Gibson Custom '59 Les Paul Standard Reissue Dirty Lemon Burst Murphy Lab Light Aged from Detroit Guitar. About the same aging as my '59 ES330TD with a similar neck. But the action is quite a bit below what I thought was possible. Sound is similar to my '62 Explorer but both sweeter and harder depending on volume setting. Detroit Guitar told me all that in slightly different ways. The Guitar exceeds what they described. The guitar arrived in perfect condition 2 business days after the order, no issues at all with shipping or packing. As I was told by Andrew at Detroit Guitar, this is truly a superb guitar. The magazines and Gibson are correct. Gibson is making its finest guitars now.The guitar far exceeds my expectations and is quite a bit better than the local 2013 Duane Allman Artist I had been looking at. Even if the Allman was priced at say $6k or $7k and not $17k on Reverb I would have chosen this one.Doing business with Detroit Guitar was smooth, personal and professional.Thank-You Detroit Guitars!
baron: It was very relaxing and cool!
30roundz: Great gear! Great people!
Aaron Galore: Nice shop. Cool environment. Unfortunately the worker who helped me charged me 101.99 on a pedal that was clearly marked 97.50. I didn't see the price tag til I got home . It's what the guy charged me , before tax . Nice shop but feel kind of ripped off . Over $5. But 5 bucks is 5 bucks .
Marc Di Lembo: What a stellar shop. Andrew was helpful, and patient. Dealing with the team at Detroit Guitar was a wonderful experience. If you’re a Fender fanatic, this place is a must. I’ve never seen such a line up of truly wonderful instruments. Can’t speak highly enough of this gem.
Joe Pawlowski: Ok
Joe Arozarena: Boutique guitar store with surprisingly wide selection of electric and acoustic guitars. Not many basses to choose from. Mostly mid to high-end prices.Parking space Somewhat difficult to find parking Parking options Paid street parking, Paid parking garage …More
Nick: Charlie is fantastic to work with, has phenomenal prices, and great selection. Charlie took time out of his evening to get additional pictures for me (I’m pretty sure he did this even after the store closed). Happy to have found this shop. Seemed like he cared about making the sale when so many dealers just blow you off these days since the demand is so high.
Chad Coleman: Phenomenal selection of guitars to choose from, I felt like a kid in a candy store! The owner was really nice too, I'll definitely be back.
Fred: Mixed bag here. Visited many times over the years. Some folks are very welcoming and encourage you to grab a job and jam. The guy yesterday was overly concerned about anyone touching a guitar. Even told a couple of young guys they couldn't plug in and try a guitar about 30 mins before they closed. I get being careful. With your guitars. He just seemed way more concerned with his guitars being touched and getting people out before he left. I was actually going to buy a PRS but I ordered from Sweetwater instead. My new PRS Studio is being delivered tomorrow!
Joe V (joe1234): I never like to leave poor reviews on small businesses because I believe in supporting local business. That being said the manager in there is in need of a serious attitude adjustment. Has no passion for the job and even in an empty store doesn’t want to be bothered. Giving three stars because it seems they have nice stock. I took about three minutes of his time purchased the item I wanted only to find out the seal was busted when I got to my truck. I just left didn’t want to go back inside and will not return. Go here if you know exactly what you want but do not ask them questions.
John Negosian: NO PLACE TO PARK!!!! Located in the heart of downtown Birmingham. In the middle of all the chaos. WAY too congested in that area. Zero places to park. Totally not worth it.....To the owners- Sorry...but You guys picked the stupidest location. Good luck....
Hayt Cryme: Great guitar store, with fantastic guitars, very good taste. I was helped out and able to play some guitars that I had been wanting to try for awhile. The person helping me was knowledgeable about details of the guitars including hardware, electronics(pickups) and manufacturing. If you are in the market for a guitar and near Birmingham, this is a must visit.
Dave Moore: I stopped in for the first time a few days go. It's a smaller than average guitar store by square foot but they had a lot of guitars. What really impressed me was every guitar that I picked up was in better than new condition. Super clean not a smudge on any guitarthat I looked at. They were all perfectly in tune and had a good setup. Every guitar I played had nice low action with no string buzzing. Someone spends a great deal of time keeping these guitars in showroom condition and in tune. Nothing like what you see in the other guitar stores. And the prices were very competitive.
Up Up: Nice vibe and great selection. The guy that helped my daughter was very helpful.
david yarbrough: Very nice boutique guitar shop. A Fender lover's paradise. Could have a few more bass selections though. 🙂
George Watkins: Pretty cool store, higher end guitars 🤘
Ryan Kargleder: Good selection of guitars, and the staff were polite and friendly.
Colin Hicks: Great store, amazing guitars. But their service is very lacking. They’ve had my guitar for a month now just to switch the set up from 9s to 10s. I was told 2 weeks, 4 weeks ago. Again, love to support local businesses, but I cannot recommend servicing your guitar here.

Guitar Center: what do users think?
Chris Michael: Dan is the man! I called yesterday to ask about a Parker p44 and possibly getting it on layaway. He was super helpful and explained what I had to do on my end to secure this guitar. He even went and got it to tell me about the condition of it and everything he knew about it. I ended up being able to work something out and buy the guitar outright but I’m super grateful for Dan taking the time to help me out and check over the guitar for me. If you see this, Dan, thank you very much! I’m really excited to receive the guitar!
Derek Seed: Bubba in repairs did an awesome job on my Paul Reed Smith! Highly recommend!
Chuck Gurskey: I recently purchased a new Fender Japan Stratocaster. Had some minor issues. The guitar tech, Bubba, went above and beyond what I even expected! What I thought was going to be a long process turned out to be a piece of cake..if you will. I haven't had enough experience with the current sales staff but I'm sure they're just fine. However, Bubba is Da Bomb!!
deon johnson: Extremely racist. Came in to sell an item and they assumed it was stolen and would not purchase it. Also did not give me any reason for why they would think it is stolen.
jessica weeks: My son went in to this guitar center today and was helped by Scott. He was extremely helpful and went above and beyond to provide great service.Keep up the great work Scott!
D Dailey: Always excellent help
Stacy Maxx: I'm a singer, so whenever I need something, or I just want to check some equipment out, I always come here. Super cool, down to earth staff workers are great every single time.
Jake Saporito: Really big waste of time to do anything requiring customer service.
CJG313: Dude with the mullet was one of the best employees of anywhere I've been as far as customer service goes! Thanks for the help man!
Dennis Thompson: Never bought a guitar from here, but I have bought plenty of guitar strings, and a piano, lol!Really wish they had a better selection of guitars, though? For a place called "Guitar Center", stock (mainly electrics) is really low.
Richard Jasper: I just set out to learn guitar and I will say that the conversations I had with a couple of the guys at the Allen Park location has been nothing short of awesome. The knowledge and the sincere honest opinions that they shared with me while I searched for an acoustic was unbelievable. I have stopped in this store on a number of occasions over the last couple of weeks to decide what I wanted and never felt pressured to just buy something, rather they took the time to explain all of the options (from the cheapest to the very high end). The gentleman that is responsible for the repair section was honestly, and absolute blast to deal with. Stopped what he was doing to help me with selection and also didn't try and upsell anything which in the end made my decision easy to purchase from them. If you need anything related to the music world, whether it be lessons, equipment or service I highly recommend you see Bubba and the guys at the Allen Park location. I look forward to chatting more with these folks as I continue down the journey of learning guitar. Cheers Fella's!!!
PAUL RITZ: Daughter bought a bass guitar with amp here. Friendly and professional clerks.
Anna Roman: They have great wing suggestions! I was in there buying new strings and Bubba is the man to talk to about good chicken wings nearby!
Rich Garbacik: After purchase of the Alesis crimson 2 SE. We were told this is a very good drum set and will have no issues. My 15 yr old step son after 1 month had a symbol stopped working now within 8 months all four symbols stopped working. Guitar center won't do anything and after multiple emails Alesis will not respond. I would not suggest working with either company.
Damn B-Yung: Super helpful
Malek Al: Was charged 3x for a sustain pedal, and the store manager hung up on me multiple times after asking for a refund. Now I am taking this to Civil Court. Very big headed egotistical indignant people there. Shop at Marshalls music.
Diana Wasaanung'gokwe Seales: I would give this place 10 stars out of 5 if I could. The staff goes above and beyond and stay very calm and helpful even when the place is packed. They were so kind to my 11 year old son who is learning to play the drums. Even though we just made a small purchase today they made us feel like rock stars. We will be back!!
Nathan Asfour: Bubba was amazing with my guitar setup. Usually I frequent the Canton location, but AP has my heart now.
Dyon Borner: My grandson takes piano lessons there he loves working with Lauren she is so kind and patient
Raymond LaBeau: Helpful staff, clean and wonderful
Gerardo Pavone: I had a great experience today at Guitar Center in Allen Park, Michigan. The manager and the staff were friendly and, most important, knowledgeable. I was looking for a specific guitar and they called me back to confirm that they had it in stock. When I drove to the store, they did a price match and I was able to get the guitar at a very good price.

Guitar Center: what do users think?
Brent Olivache: Weird employees. Had to wait forever for help to get no help.
Courtney Agosta: Came in on Saturday and Ellie was a great help. Prior to coming in I called and asked for two specific guitar stands (sorry don't know who I talked to) they were there and ready. Ellie was quick to assist in additional last minute needs!
andju2hikari: I bought an used guitar from this shop using Guitarcenter website. Well packed, fast shipping, and even a great follow up service (replied an email within one hour with courtesy).I live in Charlotte, North Carolina and two Guitarcenter local stores are really bad. So, I checked the review here and I know this Southfield store is nice!! One of the happy purchases!!
Tristan Ross: This is the best DJ place ever. Glen is amazing
George Gary: Called to make sure store had it. The Southfield mi store n yes still there. Told the employee I’m calling progressive to buy it now. I did n was told that there is no item with that store. The girl suspended it n now it been almost 5 hours in still I can’t buy it ???? You would think when I talk to the manager he would’ve said give me your phone number. I’ll call you back as soon as this is straightened out. Nope I get to keep calling keep calling keep calling keep looking very poor service.
Aidan Johnson-Hill: Great service and an excellent selection of all types of music products
Mrs Hall: Understaffed (but knowledgeable), high prices but good selection.
Fred Crandal: Always have been helpful to me. Reasonable prices and personal service. I need this place and am glad they are here.
Bryan Tewkesbury: They had what I wanted, good price, great service. Can't complain.
Dustin Leslie: I just had a tremendous experience with Dave in the Speaker/Audio Dept. He helped me diagnose a very affordable solution for a major commercial audio project. I couldn’t be happier with the level of professionalism and insight. Thank you!
Sara Adams: Not much for a brass musician. Small selection of music stands and lights.
Ken Sturm: Much better than the Canton store which is low on stock and no drum techs. This Southfield store is bigger and I found what I needed. The cymbal selection could be better..
Gerardo Pavone: Returned an item with zero problems. Guitar Center's return policy is absolutely customer friendly.
Dylan Tobin: Thank you for the awesome customer service. What made this a 5 star experience was that the Guitar Center Team Member whom I spoke with, went above and beyond to provide me with accommodations so that I didn’t have to come inside to the store.
Diontae Respress: I recommend you bring your kids or just yourself here for lessons. You can really tell that all of the teachers and the head of the lessons department (Chris) really care about what they are doing. This isn't anywhere close to a money grab, my son has made leaps and bounds with his guitar lessons.
johnathon banks: Awesome place with very friendly and kind staff.. they even offer piano lessons here.. so I'll definitely will be taking some lessons
Joey Kittel: Audio section where it at!!!
Maryann Cromwell: Favorite!
William Trees Jr: Our sales guy was great… Thank you John, 100% helpful and very knowledgeable!!! Helped my son get a new drum set… Made great suggestions and was never pushy… Honestly great job and service!!!! Thanks again John
N Calv: I would never recommend doing business with this company.I was charged for drum lessons for my two kids and still had two lesson’s remaining each. They charged me for four more lessons each. My account was then cancelled and all was lost.Again. I would never recommend this business to anyone.
C.A.T.O Taylor: Love going to the local Guitar Center! The staff is always helpful!

GarageBand Music: what do users think?
Do Your Job Right: Guitar has been there for 5 weeks
Daniel Welch: Welcoming atmosphere, friendly and knowledgeable proprietor.
Korey Krause: Great store and the owner was really nice and was very knowledgeable. I was there picking out my first electric guitar and he was very knowledgeable on the subject and didn’t try to upsell me at all. If your in Utica Michigan I definitely recommend coming here
Kevin R.: I love this place! The owner is super knowledgeable and friendly. they have an impressive selection. they carry a ton of pedals like Boss, JHS, Electro-harmonix, etc. They carry high quality guitar and amps plus other cool stuff like skateboards. i had them do a setup on my PRS and it was very reasonable and well worth it. I'm glad there are still places like this around it blows Guitar Center out of the water
Isaac C: The shop was sympathetic to my curse of left handedness 🙃A friendly and patient owner that happily answered my many questions and helped me find the few little things I needed on a snowy weekday afternoon.Cozy and fun shop vibes. You'll be seeing me in the store again soon. I'll bring my bass next time dude. Thank you!
Will Dozier: Great place, lots of nice wares
James Tomlinson: Knowledgeable and friendly serviceGood music teachers
Nicholas Silvestri: First time coming here, Mike was eager to help me get started. He didn’t push expensive equipment, but quality tools that I would need. He was very helpful in pointing me in which direction to start my learning, hope to be taking weekly lessons soon.
GreenyEcho: Was super helpful, didn’t just try to sell me super expensive products but showed off things within my interests and questions and directed me toward the amp that best suited my needs. Made conversation and talked to me as a person and not just a stranger here to buy something. I plan to head back when I need more equipment.
M Malta: My advice... if you’re heading out to visit your hometown and decide last minute to bring your guitar, remember to grab everything. But if you don’t... Garage Band Music has got you covered. Not only was I able to pick up an emergency amp/cord but they were able to restring my guitar super fast after I snapped a string with no spares or tools to do myself! Great selection of strings, cords, amps. I also saw some mighty nice ukuleles in the back! Mike was great! Super knowledgeable, flexible and a pleasure to meet! Thanks for the rescue!
Matthew slanec: Helpful and friendly staff.
Scott Soucy: Great place to shop and talk. Good selection of strings, as well as all manner of stringed instruments.
Andrew Rickert: Mike is cooler than the dudes at guitar center
George Montgomery: That place is awesome!! the guy is very helpful and knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend this place..
James Alexander: Mike has been providing courteous, quick, and expert service for years. With Covid19 (84) just call with your order and he will deliver it outside to your parked automobile. Online orders will continue to be shipped out as promptly as possible.
William MacGregor: One of the best local music stores around as probably the nicest owner and he's right there in downtown Utica
N H: They have a great selection of ukuleles, Guitars and accessories. The staff was very friendly and even tuned instruments I wanted to play.I wish I knew about this place sooner! 👍👍👍👍I will definitely be back! Great store!
Michael Lang: Have to give a high rating.. the people are great and know the instruments.. only issues is it lacks the variety of guitars and accessories, if the people were different I have a lower rating.. there pretty close to what going prices are for guitars , couple times eBay or guitar center were cheaper but not by much. It cost more in gas to buy it. So I’m ok with it. There used gear is good. Fair prices.. I like the store I go there before I go anywhere else’s or online
Mary: Purchased a ukulele here and they were so helpful and friendly. Cozy, nice place and good vibes.
Jon H: Friendly
ArmyStrong 204: Don't count on the owner for repairs, you will be blown off for a week straight. He will tell you it'll be done in a day then that turns into a week... but everytime you go in there he's doing nothing.

Guitar Center: what do users think?
Ken Hamilton: What stupid place. I went in and was there for a PRS Custom 24 ten top. After looking around 30-45 minutes and several employees passing by, I asked one gentleman if he was the the manager, he said yes. I told him no one even said hello can I help you. I said how can you let potential customers walk around like this and he said “sorry “. Not what can I help you with. I said that’s the new generation. He said sarcastically “we suck”. Good Job Guitar Center of Roseville Michigan! 😂👎Today I purchased a PRS Cusom 24. Ten top from Palen Music 4500.00. Thanks again Guitar Center could of been your sale!
Dfree Dfree: Bobby is the greatest!
Kevin R.: Heres an updated review with some helpful information. Guitar Center is not a great place to buy guitars. They do nothing to ensure the guitars are set up correctly, and they rarely ever come set up correct from the factory. Back in the day guitar shops would inspect and fine tune each guitar before they hung it on the wall. That way it actually stays in tune and plays well. If youre looking to buy a guitar, find a small shop that still cares. Now for repairs, for anything more than a simple string change, find a luthier. I learned the hard way. I was having issues with tuning stability. Guitar Center, Huber and Breeze, and 2 other smaller shops all did a bare minimum, rush job where they slap some strings on, and never diagnose the problem. But they charge you like they did ($100+) only for you to be disappointed.I found an affordable Luthier who actually does the work. Chris Frantz, Clinton Township. He brought my guitars back to life. He builds amazing guitars and can fix anything. He was the 5th person i tried and the only one to put the actual time and effort in. thats why im mentioning him here. i want to save someone the hassle i went through. None of those other places were able to get my guitar to stay in tune after using the whammy bar. That was their assignment and they all failed. pretty basic stuff if you do repairs. they should hang their heads in shame. except for chris frantz.
Catherine Private Email: I don't understand this. But maybe I should of said something, but in away it's ok, just to let you know they lost a customer, a good customer. We constantly buy at Guitar Center for everything for our group and my issue here was, that i had my bass and guitar tuned here before and we were told you don't get charge for that, but today we were charged $20 to get a guitar tuned. I seen he was very busy and a lot of work, but that's exactly for what he gets paid for. Anybody knows anything different.? Roseville 👎👎👎👎👎👎 What t t they don't know i do reviews and honest reviews... This mis your Review 👎👎👎👎👎👎 WHAT WAS SO DIFFERENT FROM TODAY TO THE OTHER DAYS?
Dave Anyguy: These guys are almost always on point. There have been a couple of associates in the past that haven't been that great. In the last three or four years though I haven't had a problem at all. I still think their prices are absurd but then again all prices are absurd right now. There are some really good used deals in the building though.
Lisa Edwards: Went in the buy a pedal board Bass tuner. No one ever addressed or ack owledge me despite the fact that I was standing at the counter. I decided to go to Huber * Brese.
Alford Daniels: Bobby,Chris,Tom,Billy and Dylan was very helpful in my questions and music needs. Would recommend this place hands down for all your musical needs
Tim Parlin: Awesome selection, very nice staff
Taylor B: Bought a bass from there today, and was assisted by AJ. AJ was very friendly and knowledgeable on the stock they had in the store and he was very helpful in assisting me with trying out a few basses. The best part of of it all was that AJ went above and beyond to assist not only me, but many other customers on the sales floor. He told me that his shift was set to end at 4 pm, which was about the time I walked into the store, and he stuck around for long after 4 pm helping me and others. If looking for buying an instrument, ask for AJ. He was very helpful and easy to work with.
Brandon Williams (CAPO): 🐑
Nick Wood: Seemed a little understaffed but all the employees were super helpful got me what I needed and were very friendly.
Heather Brewer: Great customer service and nice selection.
Jeremy Hogan: My brother and I came in today to buy a lot of music equipment. My brother had help almost instantly and got all his questions awnsered within no time in the recording/ audio section. However for myself in the guitar section I got zero help and when I picked my guitar out I got the guitar snatched out of my hands while finding a matching strap for it. You guys need to find new employees for that section. You lost a huge sale today considering I was about to buy a new orange amp, gretsch guitar, chords and pedals. If im going to spend over a k on equipment I expect help. The guy even asked me if I've been helped and I said " absolutely no one has put in a effort to help me out" . Yet still after that he didn't even bother to help me! He just walked away with my guitar!
Timothy Cullensla2i9 9 opp wy: Great store except useless employees, associates at walmarts help out more when looking for something, OMG, 2022 and went back to that store and it is worse, they discriminate now
DeeDee Allemon: Billy was the BEST KNOWLEDGEABLE, FRIENDLY & CONSIDERATE salesman... explained what we wanted, showed us a few different guitars and he explained all options with them. Never felt pressured, but was completely comfortable with the guitar we chose for our son. Thank you Billy, I will always recommend you. 👌
Joey Kittel: Best spot for quick gear!!!
Robert Hickey: Why give Guitar Center in Roseville on Gratiot Ave a 5 Star rating? Buckle up... Service, respect of customer, friendly, knowledgeable, willingness to go the extra mile, and quality! I ordered a new intermediate f attachment trombone as a Christmas gift for my son. It arrived at the Roseville store. Tom brought it from the back for me. We opened the box and case to check it out. Glad we did. Not Guitar Center's fault... the trombone had issues with the finish and the packing from that company's factory seemed fishy. Without hesitation, Tom grabbed that "new" trombone away from me. Offered a refund or try one more time with that company and model trombone. This time, he would call GC's Kansas warehouse to open the replacement and physically check it before it arrived at the Roseville store. True to Tom's word, Kansas did just that. I'm happy to report that only moments ago, Tom and I opened the second new trombone box/case to find a shiny unmarked trombone just waiting for my son on Christmas morning! Thanks to Tom, the Roseville GC store, and their Kansas warehouse we will have a very appreciative and happy son and rising trombone star! Thank you Tom!!Ask for Tom, I promise you won't be disappointed!Bob
David Buller: Great employee's aways very helpful and considerate 👍.
Max Senopole: This place is great. I play guitar and love to come here to check it out. They have everything you need for guitar like strings, amps, pedals etc... and they also have stuff for bass, keyboards, drums, and more. Workers are always nice. Sometimes there may not be a whole lot there but, it is still a great place.
Carla Chaudoin: Very helpful staff
Gloria Sanborn: Great and helpful employees

City Pawn: what do users think?
Leonard Hren: The scumbag I dealt was a liar. Sent complete info with 12 photos of item and was given a fair market price. Loaded item on borrowed truck when we showed up with item price dropped by 1/3. Scumbag liar said he did not realize age of item. Which was B.S. Photo and info I gave him showed year item was manufactured. It was 15 minutes prior to close on weekend and we were in desperate situation and due to time we were unable to take item to competition and scumbag liar was aware of this. Plus the borrowed truck weakened our bargaining position. ALSO item weighed 700lbs and I did not want to unload and reload item the following Monday. Ended up taking B.S. OFFER. NEVER AGAIN!!!!
Lamar Clark: Trades, Buys or Pawn! Come look for, Trades you needs!
Suzanne Laffrey: Friendly staff
David Wilson: 👍
Robert Kendrick: Yeah it has a good pond and you Pond and stuff I haven't bought anything from there yet so that's pretty good
Gwendolyn Maxey: At first, this place was a good pawn shop to go to. Then, on a most recent visit, my husband and I went in to pawn a tv. Long story short, the guy working there got over on us. When we came to pick it up, somehow, they claimed we never came in with the tv. After much debating and proof that we were there, they sent us home and said they’d look at cameras and give us a call. Call never came in. We gave them a week. We went up there today and now they’re claiming the tv was sold. We never sell items, only pawn. When asked to see the video and proof, they stalled and ended up coming with a paper that claimed we sold the tv but never received any paperwork for it. Why this wasn’t shown prior, I have no idea. (Because they didn’t have it when we first came in) Then they said they were going to work with us and sell us a tv for 180. Nooooo, we pawned a 50 in tv and got 85 for it. Do you think we would have sold a 50 in tv for 85??? Not at all. And How is this working with us? Terrible experience. No matter if you went once or a loyal customer, you could be a victim so beware. And the employees are rude and tasteless. Especially the lady that works there.

yendor 187: My mom use to come here all the time. This was her spot before she passed. Seem like an average pawnshop. All new faces must be under new management
mike g: Horrible customer service, extremely rude, and unprofessional. The guy didnt know how to properly operate a certain tool, so he declined the purchase. This place wont last long, eapecially in this area.. bye bye 🤣
Tim's Drywall Plaster Repair: Did not get much cash for my tools
Tina Lambert: They are the best pawn shop around and the workers are friendly and kind
uptown rome: Worst pawn shop in Detroit!!!! If you really love what you have, take it somewhere else because they all in for the profit they sell your stuff right away no chances, all smiles ,and we lost out on something we cherish.
T N: I went into Bims to buy a diamond ring for my soon to be wife. I did some research before going, so I was a bit prepared to ask a few questions and get some professional advice. As soon as I started to ask simple questions they got super defensive. They do not want educated customers. These guys are crooks. WARNING THEY ARE UP TO NO GOOD! DIRTY DEALING AND MISGUIDED CONSUMER IS WHAT BIMS IS ABOUT. Lets just hope they shut their doors soon!
Ecko Adams: Dont Waste ur time, and if ur goin here to pawn or sell anything dont let the LOW BALLER named Willy help u, he always tries to act like there is something wrong with anything u try to pawn or sell, very bad business practiced here
Joe E: Great people and service
Jonathan James: Well lets just say i got riped off. I bought a ring payed $220 in cash. And my wife came up there two months later and just ask how much would they give her for the same ring. Believe or not the guy offer her $15 for the exact same ring. Unbelievable this ppl are crooks....... I advice everyone to stay away from this thieves.

Guitar Center: what do users think?
CASEY HOFF: Lots of acoustic and electric guitars to be had here.
Ray Yang: Went in to sell my old banjo and trade up. Alec the manager was the kindest and most helpful guitar center staff I’ve ever met and he runs his crew incredibly well. I will definitely be coming around to get future gear as long as Alec is around!
Zack K: Guitar Center has lost its flavor over the years. This is not the best GC in the region… I’d opt for the Southfield location over this one
J Pete: What happened to Guitar Center in Canton?!?! You go in every employee was standing around laughing while people need help. The store got leaks coming from the ceiling, buckets are kind the store catching water. Go to check out a floor model piece of equipment wanting to spend money and it’s broken not working properly. Why would you want to spend money on when the display there for you to use is making the product look bad. Come on Guitar center you got to do better. The only solution I got was to go to another store, they may have floor display items to try out in better condition. Smh 🤦🏽‍♂️
Christina: Martin went out of his way to help me make my son's birthday gift extra special! Superb customer service. We knew what we wanted to get our little guy and Martin ran and grabbed it and made sure it was all there. Great customer service, I love that all kindness is not dead.
beav909: Poor customer service. Walked in with the intention of spending 3k+ on a new keyboard and couldn't get the attention of anyone in the place. I think I saw 4 employees and not a one even looked at me let alone asked if they could help. I stood at the pro audio/keyboard register for 5 minutes trying to be patient. Still, no one came over. Fine. You don't want my business, I'll go elsewhere.
Brent Wellman: This place surprises me. I bought my first guitar online to pick up instore. When I picked it up the gentleman opened it up to show me and the guitar had no pick guard where there was supposed to be one. He sent me home with it anyway. It’s my first guitar (Martin D-10) so I thought maybe the guard was in the box still. Then I signed up for four lessons. The instructor I had spent almost a whole 30 minute session texting on his phone. I quit the lessons after my third to go to Northville Guitar. Then I had a string break while I was tuning the guitar (because I’m brand new to guitar). I called up to Canton Guitar Center that I bought this 1000.00 guitar from and asked if they could help me change one string and they said I had to wait two weeks for there tech to get back from vacation and that it would cost 30.00 to change one string. I’m giving them 2 stars because the gentleman that schedules and runs the lessons was a great guy. Guitar Center in Canton showed me exactly why brick and mortar stores are going the way of the dodo. Hey guitar center, it literally took me five minutes to change the one string from a YouTube video. When you have a chance to service a customer (especially one that just spent over 1000.00 on a guitar with you) take it.
Jay Macarus: Got everything you need and more including friendly and helpful staff!
John Shook: Absolutely horrible customer service. I would not recommend going to this location.
D. “D. Boogie” Washington: Pretty good, actually no one in the store on a Wed afternoon.
Mark Dunham: Exceptional staff. That location has everything needed 🎵 🎶 🎵 🎶 🎵 🎶 🎵 🎶 🎵.
Carlyle Carvalho: Great store. No pressure to buy while browsing
Bob A: I recently bought a used Heritage 150 electric guitar at this location and the whole experience couldn’t have been better. The store is well stocked with everything from low priced beginners gear all the way up to anything a touring pro could need. The staff, Milton and Alec were great and the store manager took the time to make sure I was happy with my purchase. I’m a very happy customer!
Fred Crandal: Did not find what I needed but the staff was knowledgable and friendly. A good experience.
Jack miller: Been a regular here for a very long time. Selection is plentiful and staff is always helpful!
Pamela Mitchell: Nice place for instruments
Sherrie Miner: Helpful staff, quality merchandise
Christina Fisher: They have everything!!
Gerardo Pavone: I was at Guitar Center in Canton Michigan on December 12, 2022, to return two Remo synthetic djembe drums and exchange them with an authentic rope-tuned African djembe. I got first rate customer service, the two sales representative I dealt with were friendly, professional and the transaction went very smooth. Thank you.
Carol Konesko: Great place to shop for your musician !
Jesse Jennings: Nice place, and the employees are super knowledgeable and helpful.
