It can be really intimidating learning how to sew on a machine but I came out of this class with a new dress and the knowledge of all the basics to make my own garments and I am so excited about it. I highly recommend this class.
K B: This is a great class for beginners. I’ve learned so much in a short period of time and time flies! I was very intimidated to try something new, but LaTerry makes it fun and easy to learn! I would highly recommend it.

Saeeda Mohamed: It’s a very nice and friendly place. I love it
Hana Abdo: I have to say this has been the best decision I made to attend a course with Sew Modest. I entered the class with basically no sewing experience and by week 4, I was making a dress for myself. The instructor was very knowledgeable and helpful. She was very patient and the class was intimate. This is the only the beginning and my only regret is I didn’t join this course earlier.

W.E. DaCruz: LaTerry and her team at Sew Modest Studio are solid. My daughter (now 8 years old) started last year as part of the inaugural girls summer camp and we enrolled again this year. To have a safe and responsible place for my daughter to go and express her creativity and become fully expressed in one of her may gifts is a treasure for any parent. Two amazing dresses designed and sewn under the leadership at Sew Modest to perfection. I look forward to support the growth of the program and the vision of LaTerry!
Amanda Smith: My daughter attended a summer sewing camp here and it was a fantastic experience for her. The space is beautiful and welcoming, the owner LaTerry is really sweet and talented, Ms. Denise her instructor was absolutely wonderful and encouraging, and all the instructors that work there we interacted with were kind and friendly. It's a very warm and non-judgmental set up and was absolutely worth the drive for us. It's a unique and one of a kind experience and they will make your daughter feel so special while she learns.
Katch Davis: Highly recommend sending your child, children or yourself to Sew Modesty. The instructors are amazing and uplifting and the teaching is unmatched. I am beyond thankful for the smile they have placed on my daughter's face and the skills she has gained.
DETROITPHOENIX1: LaTerry is absolutely amazing. A great person, great instructor and seamstress. The atmosphere is positive and welcoming. The size of the classes is just right. Your able to get step by step instructions. Any questions that you may have are enthusiastically answered. All materials are provided down to a tote and instruction manual. All aspects of sewing are taught. I can't emphasize enough how great of a person and instructor LaTerry is.

Sew Many Things Sewing Center: what do users think?
Darlene M. Davies-Warner: I needed border fabrics for a quilt I just made and I had a very knowledgeable employee help me find the perfect to finish my project
Marcie Dravidzius: Went in for help on a Judy pattern, and left there very pleased, was explained to me and now I'm able to complete my quilt
Just Me: I asked for a particular item and they chatted and found it in the store. I appreciate your time!
Jane M: Sew Many Things Sewing Center is a terrific one stop shop for all things quilting and sewing.I recently had my sewing machine serviced there. The technician took the time to keep me informed of the repair. Also, I had a one on one sit down conversation at the shop so I completely understood what was causing my issues.I’ve never had this level of service at any other Sewing Machine Dealer in the Metro Detroit area.I highly recommend this store and authorized brother retailer.
Debra Esper: Such a great shop! Love walking around and dreaming of what I could make with all the beautiful fabric.
Patty Howell: Love the class I am taking there! Jean is a great teacher!
JoAnn Smith: Great owner! Very helpful staff!
Patty Romanelli: One if the most knowledgeable, great choices, and well rounded choices of merchandise!
Patricia Romanelli: Great service.
Nancy McMurray: Always very helpful and encouraging.Wide selection of fabric and notions.
S Miller: As a first time visitor, I was happy to find that this little shop that has specialty quilting fabric lines like Moda, Hoffman and Freespirit. The  customer service was exceptional.  Karen inquired about my project and made suggestions. Besides cotton quilting fabric, they had quilt patterns and nice knit fabrics for attire. I am definitely inspired to make a return visit.
Amanda Smith: My almost 10 year old daughter took a sewing class here and really loved it. The price for the amount of time and activities you get to do is more than fair and the teacher never made her feel at all rushed or stupid which is something I worried about a little - my other daughter had previously taken a crocheting class at a Joann's and despite being the only person who showed up to the class it was a disaster that put her off even trying anything similar. Sometimes these environments can feel very unwelcoming and insular but this store and the ladies who run it seem very kind and welcoming. The store itself is very good sized and I hope they eventually offer more classes for kids.
Kimmy T: Love this shop the ladies are so nice and helpful and the classes are great. One of my favorite places, can’t wait to go back and get more fabric and take some classes. They make you feel at home! ❤️

Elle Marie: LOVED IT!!! Had the best conversation about quilting and classes. I had so (sew 🤣) much fun just talking about projects. Very helpful and VERY NICE!

Rico the great: They are awesome
Kathleen Pawlik: Friendly, helpful staff, great customer service. Small store but good selection if quilting fabric and supplies.
Kathye Harris: Nancy and Pat are The BestIm learning sew many things from them both

Donna Busch: Good variety. Staff very helpful.
Steph J (GlittrGirl26): Beautiful Quilt shop!! Tons of fabric choices and lots of notions!
Traveling Construction Superintendent: Nice quilting shop that we visited during an annual quilting shop hop. The shop hop included quilting stores in Ohio as well as Michigan. Sew What is difficult to locate if heading west from Jefferson St as they don't have any signage on Eureka Rd side. They do have a lit up sign on the west side of the building, which is plainly visible if heading east along Eureka Rd. Quaint little shop with very helpful and pleasant staff. They have everything you could want for your sewing or quilting projects, including sewing machines. Please support your local small businesses so they will be there for us when we need them. Two thumbs up 👍👍

Ludwig Von Mises Was Right: CHILDREN's (beginners of all ages welcome actually) CLASSES. Patient, and engaged with student. My daughter (10 years old) so looks forward to being the star for the hour. Judy (store owner, and teacher) patiently re-directs my child's attention back to learning. Sometimes they learn to leave "allowance" at the seams. Sometimes they learn to read a pattern. Sometimes they learn to thread their machine, or hand stitch. But every week we learn something new!
