Bronx Bar: what do users think?
Derryl Moras: The place has one of the best burgers in Detroit. One of the few spots I would frequently be around. Cheap drinks too.
Corey Johnson: Very rude
Derrick Anderson: Me and my baby had a pretty groovy time 😋.. the vibe was just what we were looking for and the the food was damn good as far as bar food goes! 😏✊

Alicia Walker: Great service and excellent fine cook
dorsey vital: Nice cozy bar with good food and great service
brian somero: Best food and drinks!
Armaan Cheema: Horrible experience, the manager himself was extremely rude and was cussing at us with a knife in hand which our table had asked for.
Kevin Hearn: The food was great and the staff were very friendly. The place was just a lil too small in the inside but overall a great place to visit. P.s. they also have a great outdoor seating during the summer....
Nat Esten: Fantastic local dive - can't wait to return
Summer Chavis Henderson: Small place, food options poor, long wait one on one pool table
Erik Mylenek: Great vibes, good service, huge portions of food!
Erfan: Cozy.Super delicious burgers (The BLT, Cheeseburger)
mellymigs aldridge: Great burger
Bill / بلال Mcdad مقداد: Great little dive. Great atmosphere 🙃

Candy Bar: what do users think?
Mike Violette: Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5More
Jameca Atkinson Palmer: The hype did not live up to it. Drinks were ok.. but the furniture is dirty. We sat at the bar. If I had been seated on the couches, I would have left. The lights are dim, so it's hard to see. But I will not return or recommend it.
Julie Ross: Cute, you must stop in for a drink at least once
danny baghdadi: intimate atmosphere, vintage experience, very classy
Takia Maxwell: I went here for my birthday with a friend and it is so cute. Perfect little cocktail bar. Amazing drinks. Great for going after dinner or a show for a nightcap. The service is great and they have snacks if you get hungry. The lobby is so cool. They have a bed out there ....lol
Brandi T: Such a lovely, cute atmosphere. The cocktails were exceptional! The place is small. Therefore, reservations are recommended.
Perri Love: Came here with my sister excited to try drinks in a beautiful setting, our waitress was PAIGE…she made the experience a bit dry, no smiling, didn’t check on us..we had to ask someone else to grab her as she was behind the bar doing nothing…I personally wouldn’t come back based on her attitude, however if you get another server this ambiance is cute.Drinks are decent. Super cute setting though.
Briana McCarthy: It's a pretty tight squeeze in there. We're right on top of other patrons. The drinks were good and the service was very good as well.
Todays Present: We had a wonderful time getting drinks here before dinner. I loved that Sean is an excellent bartender that can make what I'm feeling/looking for even if it isn't on the menu. I would totally return here again and again to try something new. Even though we had a reservation, the space is small and it only takes 1 group (especially if they are loud) to really change the mood of the place.
Raven “Frank” Sharp: It feels amazing! It’s soooo small and intimate. Think a sexy early 2000’s Miami night!
Rachel C: Okay, not well described on the website and it was hard to find; also it’s super weird there’s no phone number listed to call. But alas. Turns out Candy Bar is inside The Siren hotel, but by the time we figured that out, we were a little late for our rezzie. They were really nice though and it didn’t matter. Drinks were really great, about $15 each; no food. People were friendly, definitely recommend a rezzie as it is very small.
sybil edwards: Very nice and cozy place drinks are awesome, very friendly staff very elegant place very nostalgic
freda s: The service and the "Playful Secret" cocktail were great. It's a small quaint room
Luke Lordes: Drinks were amazing!! Most were about $16 so pricy but for a night out with friends very cool experience. The location is small so either reserve a spot or pray you somehow can get in. The host (male, dark hair, dark eyes) was the nicest! We got there when it wasn’t yet too busy and he sat us down right away and told us we could stay for an hour until the table which was reserved was needed. So he made it a great experience by being honest yet super friendly and accommodating.
Katie Tingle: The Hollywood Glam vibe is immaculate and the drinks are just slightly overpriced, making it the perfect place for one drink before heading out.
DeShaun Harris: Great little place hidden inside of the Shinola hotel. Great location and area, close to lots of other bars an hotels in the area. Nick was our bar tender and the waitress was a very nice lady with great suggestions. Our favorite was the one with the raspberry in it (tequila based), but tasted like cotton candy. Will return soon, Thanks!
Ferique Kothari: I assumed the drinks would be extra sweet but they were very good and mild sweetness. Don't think u can go wrong with a cocktail you pick, but make sure you get a reservation!
Stefanie Greenberg: Cute boutique hotel with this little gem in the rear. Very small but cozy vibe. Great place to stop by for a drink or 2
Kyle Pucciarello: Worth it for the experience, not necessarily the drinks or service. We were lucky enough to visit some incredible cocktail places during our brief stay in Detroit, but everyone told us you have to try Candy Bar. Armed with a reservation, we arrived at 9pm and were ushered into the back of a hotel, making for a not-so-secret speakeasy sort of vibe.Oddly, for a gorgeous Saturday night, there were only six other people in the tiny, pink on pink bar. Which is actually what brings my rating, and our experience, down so low.Our first drinks didn't appear until nearly 25 minutes into our seating, already putting us at the halfway mark. When we asked about snacks, they didn't have much but we needed a little something - sadly, they never came, and we weren't checked in on until we asked for the check. With three people staffing this tiny bar filled with four couples, you would really expect better service. And, for the prices, it really wouldn't have been too much to ask.
Jerry Hopkins: Hostess was rude and short when showing up with reservation.
Bailey Geise: Great spot to grab a drink with your cute friends.

Temple Bar: what do users think?
Grant Hoffmann: Lovely bartenders and drinks!
Bethany Cardona: the drinks are pricccccey for a dive. but great location and atmosphere. actually love it here!
Drew LoPiano: Great spot to hang out and play some pool!
Bob Doe: One of the best dive bars in detroit. friendly bartender and drinks can’t beat price wise.
Sara Tisch: Pretty relaxing, played pool and drank beer oh also petted a cat. Fun
Jonathan Tasman: This place is a dump, below a dive bar. However, they have a pool table.
L M: Great dancing. Great place for a pint.
Ry: Came on a friend's recommendation, and absolutely loved it! It was a slow evening, but everyone was quick to make me feel welcome and comfortable, and the bartender was very excellent company and on top of running things. I will definitely be a regular here soon! :)
Cathy Morris: We stopped in for a drink after a show at the Masonic. A cool historicl dive bar with a fun relaxed vibe. I hear that the dance floor can be hopping on the weekends.
Shonterria Stokes: Cool after-hours family-owned bar, thats 100 plus years old. Yohan was very cool bartender. Has a jukebox but everything is dated and it feels right.
Rick Vassallo: Woke poseurs and nothing else
Robert McIntyre: Classic
30roundz: Has drinks...
Tia Thompson: Cool bar to grab a drink!
Nathan Sellers: Classic bar. A detroit institution.
Jakub Gibczynski: One of the most eclectic and exotic establishments in Detroit. Located next to masonic temple and founders brewery in Midtown Detroit. this alternative bar, serves one of the strongest and cheapest drinks in the whole city. There is a cover on the weekends
Dominic Buschini: Great place for a quick drink before the show.
Peter M: Larry is a consummate professional and super friendly. This bar rules.
Keith Becker - Becker Home Advisors: The Temple Bar...we love this place. It is not flashy on the outside, but dont let that stop you. This is a great place to meet before or after a game at LCA or dinner at Basan. You will likely run into some locals who tend to frequent the place. The staff is always friendly and they pour a good drink. They usually have a nice selection of regular and craft beers and have Short Local Light on tap. It's definitely worth stopping in for a drink or 3...enjoy.FYI, they don't serve food, so plan accordingly.
Lala: I had a great time
Perry Columbus: Best and most famous dive bar in Detroit. This place has been family owned for 100 years. It's very welcoming to whoever shows up. Straight, Gay, young, old weird or cool everyone hangs out here! No food besides chips. Its a block away from Little Caesar's Arena and across the street from The Masonic Temple (hence the name) so its perfect for a pre or post show round or two. Tell George and Larry that Perry's review sent you!
