Very bad business. Didnt get the window until the 3rd week with no kind of little money back or anything.

MR SWOOPE: Absolutely horrible business. If anything I felt they came to case the location not do an estimate. I received my job assessment last week and I clearly explained to the two individuals what I needed for the shower and they also was supposed to take measurements for the interior exterior front and back doors which they failed to do. They told they would come back to take the door measurements. But moving forward I was informed that I would receive my numbers Monday this wasn't provided no call or any email confirmation. I've called numerous of times and when I finally did get someone that following Thursday to try to resolve the issue I was provide numbers for the shower door casing and ask what type of door I needed???? When I clearly explain this that time of estimate. I was told how much the shower casing cost time of estimate. I hate to talk down about BLACK OWNED BUSINESSES but do not waste your time with this one. You shouldn't have to beg a company to do their job. Very unprofessional and a waste of time. Find a Company that knows how to handle business.

TH Reliable Services: Doug means well when he accepts the work. He is his own boss and makes his own schedule. Keeping your company afloat means grabbing all the work you can. However, most times he does not get to the job on time. He does not have set prices and will gouge you when he can. He also takes his time completing work whenever he can get away with it. The quality of the work is disheartening. The miscommunication between him and his office is immense and they are never on the same page. The answer is always "you can talk to Doug." Conflict resolution is a big ZERO! How many weeks will it take for the customer to realize that the office didn't notify him of an approval on a job. Then you will wait weeks more for materials to arrive. Pay $100 more to another company and get your monies worth!

Everyone we dealt with was polite and professional. Communication was excellent. The quality of the windows is outstanding. Two things in particular stand out: the noise from outside is significantly reduced compared to our old vinyl windows, and these new windows do a remarkable job of keeping the heat/cold outside where it belongs. We also really appreciate the attention to detail on the construction of the windows. My favorite was the design of the handle on the awning window that they installed in our bathroom. There were some hoops to jump through with the others just to secure a quote, and that deterred me immediately. When Josh from Glass Doctor arrived, he was professional, knowledgeable, and quick. Christine Roncone: Called for a quote for a glass panel on the short side of our 2 sided tub. Panel was to hold a shower rod that would go to tile on opposite side. The man they sent to quote wasn't informed our needs and I was dubious of his understanding of our needs or his ability to measure for them. He said he would have a quote in a week and it would be 2-4 weeks for the panel to be installed. Never heard from him again. Meanwhile the other company I called for quote gave me a same day quote and had panel installed 6 days later.

We got our whole house windows and doors replaced (38 windows and 2 doors) in September 2019, the installer was great( literally vacuumed and cleaned up my house every night more the I do) the windows were beautiful and amazing quality, and the reps were at our house frequently to ask us how the job was going and if we needed anything. I thought that was awesome and should have posted something then but didn’t think it would aid anyone in their choice to go with this company but now I do. This company offers a lifetime warranty and stand behind it with the best costumer service I’ve ever had. Since our windows were installed we have contacted them 3 times: 1) putting woodwork around our interior garage window (done within a week) 2) window and door color swatch requested to match paint (received within a week via mail with a note letting us know if we need anything else to contact them) 3) seal between window and house gap causing leak our house facing extreme sun side was told by installer this could happen (they came out the NEXT BUSINESS day to reseal!!!!!). This is exceptional and should be praised and relayed to help people looking for just a great company to install windows and doors. It was literally one of the greatest investments we made in our home and are beyond thankful that we decided to go with Alexandria windows! Please continue to offer such great costumer service in the future because it is truly a God send to consumers that are use to being pushed around and lied too. Fran H: I took the mirrored doors from my medicine cabinet to Daniel's Glass to have new mirrors cut and holes put in them for the knobs. They said it would take some time because of the holes. I mentioned the edges on the old mirrors (which were rounded) The comment was he could give me smooth edges. I should have asked more questions.I will say the price was ok, but the job was not that good. After waiting 10 days I got mirrors where the back was chipped around both holes. The edges were just a straight cut that seem sharp enough to cut at the right angle.Not a very good job.

Cooper Pilot: Excellent quality glass at sensible prices. All the glass we needed was cut right then and there, and it only took a couple of minutes. All the prices were in nice whole dollar amounts which is something you don't see often anymore. When we left the building and loaded the glass into the truck, one piece shattered. Thankfully, the guy behind the counter was really understanding and was able to get us a brand new piece free of charge! Outstanding business that more people should know about.

Todd no called no showed the first appointment then rescheduled to the following week when I called their office about it.When Todd came out he seemed like a nice enough guy. Took measurements and said what I was looking for was custom but would not be a problem.After waiting nearly a month for a quote, the darn thing was wrong.I called the office (savannah) to have them fix it and they told me they would have to go back to the manufacturer for a quote.I periodically called over the next month for an update and they would just say "maybe next week".They never reached back out with a corrected quote. My guess is that it was just work they didn't want to do and they didn't want to say so.

James Buck: Just had my front door replaced. Excellent workmanship. 2 guys removed my old door and install the replacement in less than 2 hours. Mitre corners perfect. Weather seals are tight, will be nice in winter. Cleaned up everything I'm very happy. I've been in Remodeling for 40 years till I retired, so I know what to look for and know how to respect a installer's work. One more note, after comparing companies Berkely Door and Window had the best price and the best customer service from day one. I advise you to check them out.

Todd himself came personally to apologize and came back with a very reasonable price so we ordered French doors. It took awhile to get the door in stock, but the office regularly contacted me with updates from the manufacturer (who was backed up and explained the delay). After the door was in stock, they were able to quickly schedule an installation. The team that came out to install were prompt and professional. Overall, we are VERY happy with our doors, and just as importantly impressed with the company’s commitment to make right a misunderstanding. I would recommend this company absolutely.I set up an appointment for someone to come to my home to give an estimate for interior French doors. I was called the night before by a man named Todd to let me know he would arrive between 10 and noon, so I arranged to be home (with my two young children) during this time. Todd never showed up. He didn’t respond to my call, so I called the office and was quickly informed, somewhat unapologetically, that my Detroit address couldn’t be serviced. When I asked when I was going to be informed of this, having given my address when I set up the appointment, she said she didn’t know. When I asked why my address couldn’t be serviced, she said it might be a “bad area.” We are looking to pay for a quality door, and after this unprofessional interaction will happily spend our money elsewhere.

DeAnna Park: I have purchased three entry doors from Berkley Home, Door & Window over the last five years. Two of the three installs needed additional work for issues with the frame and such. Two of the installs cracked my siding and required multiple appointments. And if you have issues or questions past a short amount of time, they will refer you to handyman and offer zero support. Very poor customer service in my opinion.

They installed the door with a metal base plate that goes from the outside of the house to the inside and now during the winter water and ice develops all across the plate in our dining room. It's drawing freezing cold into the house. When I contacted them the first winter after the install they said it was not their problem. The door itself is fine, so two stars, but we didn't have ice and condensation inside our dining room with our old doors, so I've been very disappointed.12/2019 Update: They sent someone over to look at the door after I posted this review. He admitted it's not a weather seal issue, but how the door was installed. The manager has been very dismissive, saying she doesn't know why they installed the doors that way so she refuses to assist with a fix.
