Social Security Administration: what do users think?
Gabi Saiki: You ever gonna answer the phone??? People lives are at stake! Sick disgusting watse of taxpayers money! Disgusting!
Michael Marr: Never too crowded. Fast and efficient service. Although masks are still mandated here.
Rachelle Brookbanks: Says they're open online. 1pm on a Monday. Gates are closed, unable to get in. Area is sketchy. I left immediately after getting out of my car.
Michael Aden: You are an NPC if you rate these places anything higher than 1 star.
Cassandra Johnson: When I called the office they gave me exceptional customer service. I went to the office and I listened to how one representative spoke to the customers and she was exceptional. I got the same exceptional service from the male representative that seen me. I would have gave 5 stars but we as people all have room to grow.
mahalia simpson: They act like they don’t know what they doing up here. Wait time in person is ridiculous. Call they either don’t answer or have you waiting forever just to try to get you to come in person and still don’t answer your questions. They even over talk and hang up on you
Tracy White: I hate this place worst one I’ve been to
D'Sharriah Webster: Wait times are abysmal. I don’t understand how most government agencies are run so poorly.
Jfelix Valentin: The Government or whoever own this placeThey need to Hire New ppl , is yes a waste of timeFor any body trying to get a piece of paperThe worst place on USA Detroit social security office
Maria Negrete: Spent total of 25 mins in office. Great staff.
Rigo Rodriguez: Walked inside and immediately the security guard kicked me out very rude old man tried to ask him a question and just walked back into the building.
Dora Nancy: They were helpful & polite
Farah Yassine: Absolute garbage!!! I’ve trying to call them for more than hour, every time “an agent” answers they put me on hold and then it goes from being out on hold to having to call again and at one point they just stopped answering!! They need to reopen that specific office so these “agents” can do some work properly!!
Jose Miguel Galindo: Que mal servicio llamé como 10 veces y cuando se conecta la llamada solo se escuchan risas y platicas y nadie responde y después solo cuelgan lo mismo las 20 veces!!!
GIO Aviles: I never had any negative experience in the Southwest district office.I've been here quite a few times for many many years and everything was conducted professionally
Genevieve Terrell: My mom reported paystubs during the pandemic by phone. SSI lie about the report and blame my mom. The workers don’t know how to read paystubs before Covid
Yudi Blanco: Muy amables...
Juan Martinez: By phone - Very friendly, efficient, and helpful.
Karmina Lara: Muy amables!!
Natasha Molina: The lady that i talked to was very rude and unprofessional! There's a reason people are on SSI lady, and you just make it worse. If you can't do your job properly and professionally find a new one. SMH very disrespectful and nasty.
Laura Serratos: They take my money from my paycheck from step program. After they denied my SSI case I don't like it when they live off our check. After turning me down and other people. They are so money hungry lover.Loving to look over my pay check and take my money I make.😠😠

US Social Security Administration: what do users think?
Jasmine: I had to go here to get a new social security card. It is very clean and secured with 3 armed guards, the process was fast and easy.
Tim Davenport: Customer service? There is none!!!!!
Cecil Leonard: So rude and unprofessional it’s sad!
DavisKreations: Everyone was so nice, from security checking me in to the gentleman who took care of me wonderful customer service kind & polite. I'd read reviews so I was uneasy at first but I'm glad I went in my experience was awesome .
PHILIP: Busy ss office other than that everything else is great
J Jackson: Information is incorrect on the website on purpose. Despite other locations and the automated system saying that they do appointments they don't honor that. They want you to drop your id in the drop box with no timeline to when you will get it back. When I asked additional questions about the process, timeline etc I was hung up on. Disappointing that there is not a better method to handle services that require you to see a person.
lakese rupert: No one works anymore so how can we get S.S. Cards!!! You work from home as you say!! I was informed to drop my ID and paperwork in a drop box for an 24 hour turn around here it is day 4 and I can’t get in touch with anyone… Now I have to go and get another ID so I can at least drive to get back and forth to work
Kelvin Pierson: Called and spoke to Mr. Barrett over the phone. He gave 5 star customer service and made my day alot better. We need more people like him working at these Social Security places.
dominick diggs: Ms Edwards is my son case specialist and i believe she will try her best to help with your case
Darlene Watkins: Had a great experience there, however it was a bit long
Carmela Edison: I swear on everything this is by far the WORST SSA office I've ever been to! They made me take off my earings checked my bags an made me walk thru a metal detector... by time i got my ticket I thought I was there to visit an inmate!! Security is very rude an don't help much!! -10 for me
Yigit K: Go to another admin if u have the chance, this place has more security than actual office workers
Annie Averhart: Annie good serven
Judy Hayes: Excellent customer service and wait time. You get what you need and you're in and out.
Sheila Liddell: They did a good change of address for me three months ago great office
Nicole 34: Not open today
E lofton: I HAVE BEEN INFORMED YOUR OFFICE SHOULD BE OPEN THURSDAY
Kenneth Gardin: Thanks works pretty good.
Sable: The open and closing times are not listed no one wants to catch the bus for nothing. Plus if you click on the link of the web listed it tells you about Indian tribes in mich. What does that have to do with finding out the business hours for this establishment??
Michelle Reed: why don't yall have the opening and closing Times on here

lisa down: Cool people I'm say the the white people are cooler
Woo Smith: I Been on hold for 2 hours & still can’t get in touch with nobody
Bubbles Bitch: Very rude just think the can talk to you in kind of way you cnt ask a question without someone getting smart not cool
kk kkerron: Submitted documentation for a file, documents loss and told to resubmit. Told letters mailed with information for case incorrect. Their way was the accurate way.
r33l 007: Man if they don't get tf outa here ...the security so tight you gotta wait almost 10 to walk thru the door ..it's empty I see why..and o yea they have a metal detector entrance 🤦🏾‍♂️4-5 security guards..smh this not court... waste of a building 🏢...so I'm in Redford Michigan social security office where u can just walk right in no problem no pressure 👌..p.s. don't come here
Djibs D.: The nicest SSA I have ever visited. The staff is very friendly, helpful and professional also the service is very rapid. Thanks guys, keep going like that.💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖
L: Horrible. It's like a prison with like 4 officials for every person that enters with nothing to do but be pressed about every tiny and I mean tiny rule. They're bored irritated and itching to harass you. Save yourself the trouble and go to any one of the other more reasonable social security offices around.
Arlene Kirby: Employee was very sassy and talked very fast. She did not consider I am a senior. Very unprofessional she need more people skills.
Mary Barron: I tried to explain to the Rude lady, I was having trouble getting my ss card through the internet and she was extra rude for No reason
Sharde Harris: Won't even take appointments for urgent matters my son still doesn't have a social security number he's a American born citizen because the social security office will not have in person appointments this is absolutely ridiculous he's two years old ridiculas that I can't get him an appointment 2 years of trying
Hector Lee Rodriguez: Mr. Lester.Frankness is one thing, outright hostile rudeness is just a mark of insecurity and poor understanding of the roles we take on as civil servants.Life itself is usually a perfect mirror for our own views. Please remember you serve at the behest of we the people. Serve us better than you have done me.Thank you.
John Moore: Very friendly and helpful in providing me with very important information.
Jody Tyree: Very rude. Hung up on me. I am just trying to locate my original documents I had to send them with tracking. I live less than a mile from the office and it has been over a week since they claim to have sent my items back to me. Zero tracking and zero concern for my personal, original documents. I am extremely concerned. HORRIBLE WAY TO TREAT PEOPLE!
Bonn Bear: Customer services
NeShawnda Walker: Customer service is always professional when I call. From these reviews I see I've been blessed. No problems thus far.
Georgia Monger: Get you in and out
Serina Bell: Very nice people
DDC1: I've had good experiences with this office, no complaints.
Maziar Shalbaf: Never this office. No progress
Abeba McCray: Rude. Workers DONT do their job then wanna get rude with the customers. Terrible office. I wish I wasnt in their area!
Shanetta Brownlee: Horrible service and a long wait time

Social Security Administration DMA: what do users think?
Chanel Johnson: Not all of them are bad here but I will tell you this they are not working for you. They are working against you and if you went to one Social Security office and you had a problem, they are working together they do not want to hear nothing they’re going to send you out of there or hang up Your phone appointment on you They get real sassy with you and then when you talk sassy back you are being disrespectful and which I believe respect goes both ways. I don’t care if I don’t have a job you’re still going to respect me. Love you guys I hope this helps someone stay strong. God is with us.
Duck The Mayor: She picked me up from the airport and it was a great ride. I had a great time and great professional experience and it’s all women’s company. This is the support women’s and I recommend everybody OK
Jurisha Yarbrough: Some of the reps who work here get too hostile. I guess they're use to people being rude to them but when you're not a rude person there is no need to be rude back especially if you just have questions and need understanding about certain issues. It's not that serious. Don't want to answer customer's questions you need to be in another field of work because customer service isn't for you.
Rosalind Boler: I know that people are short staff and over work but 4 hrs in 2 day's and still can't get a answer come on now no one is that busy
Marquez Thornton: Poor customer service. Wouldn’t recommend
Marilyn Jones: I spoke to Mrs. Taylor. This woman was so Patient, Professional, and Concerned about my issue and she sent me the info requested! It really surprised me. I literally Thank God!
June Newton: I am sorry i am 'bad w/names! However, The Representative i spoke with over the phone was Cool with a 'capital C'..Very Professional in verifying 'my info' and 'Handling the Business at Hand'...She didnt mind my 'idle chatter' either..lol..😊😁. It is a Blessing when folks "Do Their Job Well"..😎..imho..Thank You!💞💞
Pam (Pam): Great customer service
Regina Hendricks: Closed appt. Only
Tere M: Best SSA office ever..From security to representatives. Everyone was friendly & efficient.. spent less than 30 min. Mrs. Taylor was wonderful and provided me with excellent customer service.
Rose Blunts: This the best social security office I ever been to in my life. Very fast and helpful.
Griselda Argueta: Excelente atencion... De las pocas oficinas publicas que me agradan por su AMABILIDAD EFICACIA Y EFICIENCIA... La persona que me atendio en la ventanilla 8 fue muy accecible y atendio mi solicitud como debe de ser...
Bianca Wilson: I love this office. They are really nice and they do whatever they can to help
T Brown: Very professional staff and specialists at this office. I have visited this office on numerous occasions for myself and my Ma (Grandmother) over many years and have consistently received excellent customer service, correct information, precise instructions and prompt processing. I have never experienced ANY of the issues that I have read about from customer reviews with various other Social Security branch offices in Wayne, Macomb and Oakland counties.Additionally, the wait times are fair for the complexity of each persons situation and the various services offered. The security here is respectful and in tune with the office, the customers and the surroundings as well. This particular Connor Ave. U.S. Social Security Administration offices' Best Practices should be used at Social Security offices across the State of Michigan. The staff and specialists are a jewel on Detroit's Eastside!
donald oliver: I liked this place because the people were friendly and they also professional and I got out of there quick
David A. Wagner: The staff were welcoming and very friendly. Especially Ms H, she made our experience stress free and enjoyable

US Social Security Administration: what do users think?
Wahb Taher: Excellent staff. good treatment. But you have to wait a lot. This is due to the lack of secretaries
MsMoua01: Expect a long wait when you come here. This office is in a Bad location.
Christopher Watson: Unprofessional Waited 40 minutes somebody Answered And Hung up
Paris France: Wasn't busy at all !
Michael Aden: I've had the misfortune of visiting this place several times to no avail. Frankly, the entire process is egregious, the people I've dealt with here are impatient and rude despite my best attempts to be cordial and calm (even though the ambiguity and lack of communication about proper documentation is frustrating). Not sure if there are discrepancies in the way these people are trained, but how is it possible that I get 10 different answers to the same question? Convoluted process, insufferable employees who act like they aren't getting paid, and excruciatingly long wait times.
Tetiana Cudaback: I waited for an hour first. Then the lady said that I have to go back to my seat and wait again for someone, because she can’t help me ( new ssn I guess very hard). Then I waited another 30 min and left.
Arthur Davis: I didn't wait no more than 20 minutes
Ethan Holley: My dad went through hell trying to prove he was disable(he suffered a stroke and brain aneurysm) after years of fighting he was finally considered disabled it was already bad enough they told us the first payment would be in January(it was dec at the time) but we just received a letter saying he would get his January 11th payment on February 3rd without explaining why they would push back payment 2 days before the first one even came the government truly is filled with slimy people
Jonathan Winston: It does require information.
Larry Hollowell: It was Good 👍
S J: Thank you for being open. So we can get our business together
Mina Nia: I have never been so mistreated or devalued until I came here , this old lady is so disrespectful and outrageous don’t waste your time talking to her she will ruin your mood I wish I knew that before I answered the phone … she is racist
Tam sam: This lady Bailey or whatever just straight up yelled at me likely I was not alone in the phone she was horrible dealing with I never had such a worse phone call in my entire life she’s crazy
Valorie Whitson: They were quick, to serve me. I'm satisfied.
Kh Kh: I was there today they are very respectful very helpful thank you so much guys for helping everyone and if you go there They may take a A little time thank you again
Mugnin badhon: All four representatives I got on the line were extremely rude and dismissive. Lack of proper professional etiquette. Hung up on twice, no apology when I let them know this and hung up on my face when call was done. Horrible. -1 star
Pinkerbelle: They surprised me , they were professional, fast, efficient, and VERY helpful. Omg, went out of their( Her) way to help me. I would put her name but dont know if that would be ok. She really helped me
Shawn Williams: Mrs. Parker is one of the most outstanding representative that this company has and that I have ever met my life. She is a true professional who is very detailed, factual and precise about her knowledge of the company. She was calming, spoke clearly and very patient. She made sure all my needs were met and I now have a better understanding of the company and the process behind it. Thank you
Carly Brandt: With Covid precautions in place, I mailed my required documents to the 9222 Grand Ave. Detroit office as instructed.Everything went smoothly. All was processed and my documents returned to me. Thank you.
Mohammad M Rahman: Its indefinitely closed for pandemic and only has drop off box available.
Matir Putul: What's wrong with them?Rude, arrogant, unprofessional. They act like, they're doing everything for free and all those people go there getting help for free.Public administration should be polite with people.

Office of Disability Adjudication & Appeals: what do users think?
Grandmother O.J.: I am not able to make an appointment online or on the phone no one has returned my call it's been a month and I think this is so awful very frustrating trying to apply for my social security benefits. What's the purpose of applying online when you can't even complete your application due to some kind of error then call someone to call you back within a couple of weeks that hasn't happened yet
Rachelle Brookbanks: Had to come in 3x to change my last name on my SS card because each time they required a different document and wouldn't accept the one each person previously asked for. 1 person gets seen per hour. The workers are friendly enough, the white security guard was a complete jerk and condescending. SDE for sure. Had to pay for parking.
Jay Shah: Worst serviceTeam don’t know the path forward if your application is stuck between SsA and DHS.They keep saying we have to wait.No information provided to new folks about SAVE program where one can check his/ her application status.
Elliott Bracken: Fast
Delisa Mack: Omg hard to get to. Only one person working long wait. Just go to another one.
Abbas Gates: Professional and flexible staffs, quick service. Thank you.
Barb Bass: I just have a question.. Is there close parking? Since I can't walk far.
Van B: Convenient
Ram Sure (Ram): It seems the office timings are changed. It opens at 9 ?

U.S. Social Security Administration: what do users think?
Letrice Wright: Poor service I would sit on the phone for hours and no one would answer
Toni Jones: Great experience! Made my appointment and I was seen and out in no time!
Shirley Miller: I was able to walk in. There were no lines and not a long wait time.
Caitlin Spooner: I got there at 9:30 on a Friday without an appointment and there were two other people inside. I checked in at the kiosk, waited 10 minutes for my turn, and was out by 9:45! The person who helped me was very friendly as well!
Toni Robinson: This is the office I am assigned to and they are HORRIBLE at taking care of business. I get the names of the people I speak with so when I send emails and post mail I can get it right who told me what and how they handle it. Just like they record calls PEOPLE you can too. This offive has lied
Krysta Ogletree: At the our local social security office. We have a worker who is answered the phone Friday, March 4, 2022 at 1:30 p.m. At a state run facility that was extremely loud, and obnoxious. This lady definitely should not be working at our local social security office. This social security worker has definitely hung up the phone on multiple accounts without responding. To what's was needed to be handled, 'a simple bank deposit change". This is definitely the wrong career choice for this lady. The Department of Social Security needs to remember. When there doing employee hires, these people need to be courteous, and be able to address sensitive matters.Best of luck!!!!!!
Cassidy Chambers: After reading all the horrible reviews I was actually scared to change my last name. I got here right when they opened on a Monday without an appointment and was in and out in 16 mins! All you have to do is check in at the front kiosk if you don’t feel like calling to make an appointment because it was honestly confusing to me. The worker I had was super nice and so was the security guard. He actually grabbed an extra chair for a group that had 3 people. I just figured this place could use a good review to help out those that may be nervous to go here because of the continuous bad reviews.
Anika Guider: A lady answered the phone first call very professional I love it and very thankful she helped me instantly 5 stars for having her
Baby Tayta: Today is March 10 I cll like 8 times ain’t nobody pick up. it’s off the hook can’t even get in touch with them . Do better.
Kathy Nuttall: Due to the pandemic most business is conducted over the phone at this time. I was able to reach a Mr. Simpson and he was so incredibly patient and nice to talk to. He was able answer my concerns and questions with ease and I am so greatful. He also set up my appointment. Thank you sir.
jennifer mcallister: Even though the Livonia office is closer, I chose the Redford office because the staff is so much better. They are nice, helpful and answer the phone. Keda was so helpful today, thank you!
Family Fun: Ms .Holcomb is very rude .
ti ti: Waiting for my mail for ever from them, plus hang up my call twice when I called in
Tracy Clements: I like the us social security office because the employees are very nice helpful with your needs and also I appreciate the good work they do. It is a great experience to have always.
S H: Absolutely Terrible service. NEVER WILL I EVER RETURN TO THAT THIS LOCATION! waited over 3hrs for a replacement card for my son. They call the numbers all out of order.. I had all type of documentation for my son. Birth certificate, medical, insurance, odenta card that they give in school etc... They refuse to give me a replacement card, stating i had to bring in a report card. How in the hell is a reportcard taken over the original Birth certificate?? Wish i could give the zero stars.
felisha gaskin: The lady sitting @ window #3 is awful with people & dry
Joy Smiles: This place is open. I walked in and as you enter you have a Kiosk to enter the SS#, and the reason for the visit and it will print your appointment number. After I did that, I was called to the booth in about 35 min.The lady was nice and said my name change is now processed in the system. I went to RMV but they said the name is not updated in the system yet. I wasted a whole day on this. But I have made some progress
L Liu: I had very bad experiences here in this office. I applied SSN at the same day when I applied my TN Visa which caused big problem.I was told that I would receive my SSN in 2-3 weeks. At the 3rd week I still had not received SSN, so I went to check its status, waited around 30 minutes a Iady at the window served my case rejected my inquiry as I did not bring my case reference number regardless having my original document for SSN application. One week later I went again to check my SSN status with my reference#. Another lady helped me even without my reference#. Unfortunately my SSN status was still In Processing...Third time another week later I went again, same lady who helped applying my SSN told me I had to stay in USA for 2-3 weeks as I went back Toronto every weekend and the border crossing or the re-entery USA record would reset my SSN application time. Based on her suggestion I stayed in Michigan for 3 weeks. Then the fourth time I went again but my case was still in processing...I wanted to re-apply my SSN application, but they rejected me request. After that I went there twice every week to check my SSN status. Two months later that was my 10th visit, the same lady served my application maybe realized something might be wrong, then she helped me re-apply my SSN, this time everything went through. My lesson for those have TN Visas: DO NOT apply your SSN right after your TN application, it is better for you to apply it 10 days after you got your TN Visa. It takes time for your Employment Authorization Document (which is your TN visa) info to be transferred into the system. Before issuing the SSN to you, the system must have your EAD info in their system otherwise your application will not go through. Good luck!
Jay Fitzgerald: The representative was very intelligent, efficient and nice.
Holly Timlick: SSA, is always bugging my friend every 4 years about an evaluation of weather or not he is disabled enough to keep his money.I have known him since high school when he dropped out, and over the years I have noticed that he has a mental disability that they claim he will get better from. But in my eyes he is not getting better, he is slowly getting worst. He is forgetting things that I have to constantly remind him of doing. He can't do a lot of things without forgetting on how to do them. He also gets frustrated too easily when simple things that we take for granted, becomes a challenge for him.I should know that, this is because I live with him, and I am glad I did move in when I did or he would be completely lost on his own.But SSA don't understand that, they don't get the concept of some people don't get better from a tramatic experience that they have had in there life as a child. He don't need to be agervated by anyone from SSA or anyone else. It really hurts him, not helping him, and anyone else who had a similar situation that lived in the same shoe's.SSA doesn't know what it feels like to be hurt, the same way my friend was put through. He just wants to be left alone - pease fully.Plane and simple, he is never going to get better or heal at all. What part of that, do they not understand.
Shine Chisholm: It's closed.

Social Security Administration Office of Disability Adjudication and Review: what do users think?
Sandra: My experience was with increased anxiety from my diagnosis of Generalized anxiety disorder. November 19, 2021 My experience the Honorable Virginia Herring after being sworn in as your honor led the proceedings of my hearing. After questioning me and listening to your honor she'd been through my case noting every detail of both sides complainants and my hand written letter but transparency was on my behalf but your honor made her decision by the rule of law that applied to my request of reconsideration . The Honorable Judge used laws that were just that the law. The justice I was seeking from in an sometimes unfortunately unjust system that was based on untruths . But your honor proved that the laws supersedes slipping through cracks without having facts given that again the Honorable Judge indeed went with the Rule laws of the Social Security Administration that would set me free ffrom years of agony. This is my experience and I'm forever grateful for the Honorable Judge thorough examination of my case. I'd also like too acknowledge her wonderful Staffer's whom recently reached out to me on your honor's request too follow up on unfinished business of which has been addressed with the Redford social security office. Karen and most definitely Aiden thanks for encouraging me to step up on my own behalf empowerment isn't scarey simply necessary.I'm forever grateful too the ALJ Honorable Judge Herring Professionalism and your honor's fact finding by law of the Social Security Administration.June 22,2022Thank you kindlySandra
Tori Johnson: Very fair judge!
Minyonne Straughter: I never been to this location but other people gave it a thumbs up

US Social Security Administration: what do users think?
Sam: Horrible people and representatives don’t actually like what they do for a living so they work depressed and just take it out on the people who actually need help. They have been closed for months and now they’re open it still feels like they’re closed .
Cheryl Hoskins: Small waiting area, quick service
Detroitish Dave: Recording says “your call is very important to us. . .please call back later. . . Goodbye.”
Danielle Reed032592: Dec 2022
Mary Shoman: My first time ever to this office. Staff were good except for #21. She was rude, she was smirking as to make fun and even laugh at me. I am not sure if it was because she wanted to leave her job and It was at the end of the day. My brother had to ask for her supervisor she left and came back without, she was aware he had to get off the phone , , I was in tears this girl has no heart. And I hope to God she gets what she deserves. What goes around comes around and karma is real. I hope this comment goes to the appropriate people. Her supervisor was good and understood me. . I hope never to get her
John Right: Put in for replacement Social Security card over 8 months ago and never received it. No call backs they just don't care.
Wolf Strong: Today, Monday, Oct 3 2022, I visited the Social Security Office. The Window Agent/employee was rude and wasn't helpful all. I hope that Social Security management take constructive decision to place employees who are customer service oriented and helpful to people/visitors. Many Thanks
Merwan Ghadieh: Do not under any circumstance visit this office for any social security needs. They lost my marriage license and paperwork with highly sensitive information. Every phone call with them is useless as they blame each other for their mistakes. It’s been since December 2021 with no solution. One person in particular, “Mr. Pringle”, is by far the worst person I have ever talked to.
Nour Ghadieh: Terrible service. Dropped off my documents for a name change due to marriage on December 1st 2021. It is now July 2022 with nothing returned to me. After numerous phone calls every few weeks to address the issue, it got no where. They lost my paperwork and original marriage license. Accused me of not even dropping off my paperwork instead of admitting they lost it. Last person I spoke to was "Mr. Pringle" super rude and insulting. Don't waste your time here. Go to a different location.
Andrew Hickman: Phoning in, I get employees more interested in deflecting blame and transferring my call than acutally helping with my disability claim. Going to the physical office, you will be crowded in a dirty lobby without chairs in order to wait to enter the small elevator, in order to wait on the second floor, again without chairs. Front of the building and lobby have no Covid measures in place (e.g., sanitizer, masks, signs, space enough for people, someone to answer questions/monitor people in line.) The front door to this disability office doesn't even have handicapped mechanical doors; a lawsuit waiting to happen. I would give zero stars if possible, as this organization has been the key opponent in my cancer battle.
Nurra Naimi: Employees are rude and unhelpful
mike zargan: don’t recommend this place these people keep forgetting that they work for the public horrible service specially they security there his so rude doesn’t want to help just
Alex A: I called this office and answered the phone. Very polite lady. Thank you
Aaa 1: They barely answer the phone , I sent my applications and it's missing don't know what they did with it
Amanda Turner: Had to call so many times to get someone to answer the phone. I was waiting on a new social security card after getting married. FINALLY reached someone only for them to tell me that they never got my application but my marriage license was uploaded. IT WAS SENT IN THE SAME PACKAGE! So frustrated and this doesn't feel like a trusting agency.
Yunes Ali: Appointment only
Anna Myers: Horrible horrible horrible. I never got my social security card in the mail and after months of waiting and months of phone calls I was denied an appointment because it was not an emergency. I got a confirmation letter in the mail stating that I should have my new card in 2 weeks and to contact the office if I didn’t receive it. When I called for the 6th time the office said they needed to see my ID to submit another request for the card. They asked me to mail in my driver’s license which I need in order to drive my car. They wouldn’t accept a photo copy either. The man who answered the phone (don’t have his name unfortunately) just said “the SSA is not telling you to drive without a license but we have to see it and we can’t make an appointment” Well, then what ARE you telling me to do then?!? I finally called another office who kindly offered me an appointment and who was sympathetic to my problem. I would give them less than one star if I could. Never go here. Go to the Inkster office instead. Horrible customer service and lazy people who don’t want to do their job.
Gina Al: No respect for the elderly, don’t return phone calls, waiting time over 2 hours every time. Escamilla is nothing but a rude, disrespectful, impolite individual. And the list goes on, only if i took down the names of the rude employees i’ve dealt with I can come up with a dozen. This place is a constant reminder to me that when you get old and become in need, everyone tries to step on you when you’re simply asking for your rights.
Katherine Kistler O'Rourke: Employees are very helpful when you ask them questions on the phone. I’ve had quite a few questions and they are knowledgeable and usually kind. However, I filled out a form to change my name after getting married and they mailed me back a social security card with the wrong name on it. Seriously? They didn’t read the form I filled out with what I’d like my new name to be. They just assumed a name and put it on the form.
Tamara uneno: I have been contacting them multiple times because they cut off my Social Security and haven’t returned my calls after calling multiple times and them saying that I will be contacted within two business days and have yet to be contacted they said my case was with Ms.Baldwin we are in a pandemic and I got my Social Security because I had a Trumatic brain injury not some other reason that u can easily recover from. I do not work because I am not physically able to do anything I was able to do in the past and because of the pandemic I don’t even leave the house. Tomorrow I am not scheduled to receive my social security and I don’t know how everything is gonn get paid without it because we are in a pandemic and I can’t even drive or do any work yet as many times as I have contacted this office and been promised a call back since January I haven’t received one they do not care about their people at all it’s been months of calling not days God help anyone who needs help from this office
Gary Bleasby: Had an appointment at 9:30, it is now 12:55pm
