Payne Tia Barksdale: My wife has always been a big fan of this H&M store location. But I never really saw the hype, it wasn’t until yesterday. When we were on one of our shopaholic sprees. My wife was trying to find a specific hoodie. I was looking for clothes to match a few pair of new sneakers , that I’ve gotten recently. I love that Tacarra saw that we needed help and immediately ask to assist. Just when we thought about leaving. She assure us , that what we were looking for was actually in the store. She showed us to different departments and level of the store and even tried on clothes we thought we couldn’t fit. Yesterday I got lucky because I literally found everything I was looking for and then some. I will be back soon. I love shopping at H&M now !

Philly Paul: The young fella in the blue cap wasn’t remotely interested with helping anyone and finally walked up to assist with register(line was getting long) but didn’t made it past one customer and didn’t appear to care. Thankfully another gentleman wearing glasses came up and was extremely professional. This pretty on par with Detroit since I’ve moved here, there doesn’t seem to be much of a desire to put in an extra effort. Puzzling.

Luke Vader: I was coming to Detroit for an interview and my suit was left behind in Portland. I was so lucky to have Bhavana there to help me in picking out something. She bent over backwards to get me exactly what I needed and she did it when the store was close to closure. Usually you feel sort of rushed and like they want you to leave when a store is about to close but she was just interested in getting me exactly what I needed. Because of her I got the job and I will be back. Extremely impressed. Prices were good for the quality. The shirt and pants are comfortable and very nice.
Jamie Stubbs: Was not greeted by the 2 women working. When I walked to the counter with an item I wanted to try on, they just looked at me.. I then had to ask to try it on. Tried on item, did not fit, had to walk to front exit of store to find them to let them know it did not work for me and that the dress had a torn belt holder/string broken. They both just looked at me and one said "oh". Not a word more did not take item, and they then turned to each other and continued their conversation. I put the dress back, and walked out of the store with no"thank you for coming into our store" nothing not a word.

Ron Reed: Bonobos is a great clothing store for well-made casual and business casual clothing. It is in the increasingly highend shopping area of downtown Woodward.It is near Lulu Lemon, H&M, Shinola, Greyson Clothiers, and around the corner from Gucci Detroit.
John Sullivan: The only thing better than the clothes is the staff. Courtney, Nieisha, and Kendall are amazing. We went to get outfits for my wedding and we are beyond thrilled with what Courtney put together for us. I don't write reviews but the team at Bonobos was so helpful and fun.
Ryan Smith: I noticed that a number of my pants were starting to shrink. I contacted customer service and sent pictures detailing the issues. Replacements were sent immediately. Good pants, even better customer service.
David Mudie: Super disappointed in the whole Bonobos experience. This doesn't really have to do with the Detroit store (they were super friendly), but the company in general. There is ZERO consistency in sizing. Sizing is incredibly important if you have a store where customers try things on then have to order online. I bought 2 pairs of the same exact cut jeans in different washes and when I received them, one pair was 2 inches shorter than the other. In truth, both pairs seemed shorter than what I tried on in store. I sent the shorter pair back and ordered a second pair in the same wash, thinking "okay, there will hopefully be consistency with the same exact wash." Nope, I received the replacement pair today, and they are 1.5 inches LONGER than the first pair. Same exact size, cut wash. The replacement seems closer to what I tried on in store. But I don't feel like trying to replace the shorter ones (who knows what I would get). YMMV but my experience with Bonobos means I won't go back. It's too bad because the product seems well made. There's just no QC. Just keep in mind that if you order pants, even if they fit in store, the ones they send you will be plus/minus 2 inches.
Adam Mutsulavish: I went in to try on some fits for a trip I am taking and was really disappointed with the store and the service. There were boxes open everywhere with dirty floors. I tried on some samples for fit and they were all soiled and frayed. The sales people were dressed in sloppy casual clothes that weren’t on brand. I was willing to order some things, but after two people struggled to enter my email into an iPad, I had had enough.

Gavriel Ross: When my wife and i first walked into the store, we were overwhelmed with strong and mixed perfume scents. It was terrible. Once we got past that, we asked a store employee for directions through the store. Two had no idea about the layout. Once we got where we were going, the folks there obviously hated their job. They were more than just rude. Probably because this particular person was upset that we had to take her away from her screen. Also very over priced. We went to another store and found the exact same brands for less.

Timothy Jackson: Hot Sam been around for a very long time I've been shopping here since I was in high school back in 1973
Bruce Alexander: I arrived in Detroit at 4:00 to attend an event at 6:00. As I was getting ready to checkin in to our hotel I discovered that I had left my suit at home. I google searched for nearby men’s stores and found Hot Sams Detroit about thee blocks away. At 4:30 I walked into Hot Sams and was greeted by Terrence Beasley. I explained my predicament to Terence, who smiled and calmly said, “I got you.” Indeed he did. Over the next 30 minutes he fitted me with a great blazer, patterned dress shirt, coordinated tie and pocket square, slacks and socks. The pants required hemming, but fortunately they had a tailor onsite. They marked the pants and took them to be hemmed and pressed. They also pressed the shirt and the blazer for a fine look. By 5:15 I was out the door with the complete outfit. Back to my hotel for a quick change, and we made it to our event right at 6:00. A terrible day made great by Hot Sams Detroit, Terence Beasley, and the store’s tailors. I heartly recommend them.

However, my dad didn't have anything white to wear so the hubby mentioned this store from when he used to go here when living in Detroit. I'm glad we did because they had what we were looking for at a price we could afford. Customer service was impeccable. Overall experience was superb!
Colleen Raymond: We drove into Detroit for a wedding and my fiancé left his dry cleaning at home. We RAN into Hot Sam’s in a panic 40 minutes before the ceremony and we’re met with the kindest staff who not only made sure he found an appropriate shirt. They steamed it and helped him re-tie his tie and everything. Look no further for amazing clothes and the most kind hearted people. 10000/10 stars. + bonus points for carrying inclusive sizing!

One of the sales clerks even helped fit and size the suspenders when they saw me struggling. Highly recommend and coming back for all fancy needs.

After our flight was cancelled and we spent the night in the airport my luggage with my suit in it was also misplaced on another flight and would not arrive in time for the wedding. I walked into Hot Sams and explained my situation to the owner or the manager. He immediately put me at ease and said they could take care of me. He introduced me to Terrance, a sales associate. He picked out 3 suites for me to try on and took his time doing so. After deciding on a suit he then choose a shirt, tie and socks (to match my wife’s dress), and a belt. Within 2 hours the necessary alterations were done and I had everything I needed for the wedding. I highly recommend Hot Sams as their selection is wonderful and their service was excellent. Rachel Michalak: I took my husband to Mature for a styling appointment as a Christmas gift. The owners spent time finding out my husband’s hobbies, sticking points when it comes to clothing, and his biggest clothing needs. Everything they put on him was tailored to his needs, and amazing quality and fit. They suggested several pieces in an effort to “stretch him” style-wise. We spent over an hour in the store and they were so helpful. They gave my husband different ways to wear the same base layers, and taught him how to style different outfits. We will definitely be back! My son was so impressed with his dad’s pieces that he wants to go, too! Thank you, gentlemen, for an incredible experience. I can’t recommend Mature enough!!

Lawrence Jackson: • I contacted Mature because I have been promising my sons who are 40 and 35 a blue suit. I also had another issue because my ex wife’s father had passed and now the suits were really needed. I only had a day to get those suits and I was worried that the alterations would actually clash with the funeral. But I went in to the Mature store on W. Grand Blvd. I called in advance there was a young man there named Darryl who was waiting for us to come. I thought I would only have my two sons but as it turned out my step grandson and my stepson wanted to get suits as well so now here I am with four young men and they were not dressed like they worked in the Fisher building because again they labor workers as well as my oldest son who lives in Atlanta is a disc jockey but Darryl was up for the task he got all of them suited up got them a shirt that was in their size, Darryl also gave them some real great pointers about shirts suits etc. it was really almost like an education and not a purchase of a suit, he took care of the information for the alterations and this was Thursday the home going was on Saturday and the family hour was on Friday. Mature came through and those my gentlemen had great suits very well tailored. I was so proud of my sons my men.I was even more proud of Mature in terms of what they did to actually help me through this scenario nobody flinched and you know because he is five a black man plus a little baby coming into the store nobody was condescending I didn’t have to worry about somebody to following me in the store etc. I felt great my signs looked great and I would recommend mature to help any man be there black or white for their clothing choices I am really really really proud of that situation and more importantly it created a lasting memory for my sons my grandsons and my stepson. Sean Rossiter: Check this guys out! DeKoven worked diligently to dress us for our wedding. He listened to what we were looking for, pushed us out of our comfort zones a little and made sure our end results looked and fit exactly as we wanted. Provided us a much more personal experience than if we shopped for similar styles at a larger store, but without any higher price tag! Will definitely be coming back for casual and dress attire!
Jon Wylie: Great first experience shopping here. They had some great deals on pants so I was able to pick up a few pairs for the price of one. Most of their clothes can be dressed up or down for any type of occasion, making them a great staple piece in your closet. Bought a few items on my first trip and will definitely be back to check out some more that caught my eye.
Plum Health DPC: I went here on a Saturday and they deliver excellent service and a great selection of high quality garments. They had some great tech pants, jackets, bathing suits, streetwear, and socks. Definitely worth checking out if you’re suiting up or dressings casual for your next night out or day at work or day at the beach. The shop is inside the Fisher Building and there’s ample parking on West Grand Boulevard, especially on the weekend.

He scheduled a same-day appointment for me and arrived to open the store for me to shop. He was incredibly knowledgeable about his products and gracious. The store has a great selection of quality menswear for both fashion-forward and more conservative guys. I'm so glad they've joined the rest of the stores in the Fisher. We need more great stores like Mature in Detroit!

Jay Cholo: I would really recommend this place they have everything you looking for. I'm a big fan of Dickies shorts and I couldn't find them no where else. They have every variety in every color like the slim fit pants, double knee pants, and the tops when I'm ready to hookup a whole Dickies suit outfit.

Forever Fancy: The entrance is through Juno's Mall entrance which has the green light security video cameras going. It looks very rundown. And it definitely needs some kind of maintenance to the outside landscaping and paint, it looks isolated and desolate. I wouldn't go alone or at night.0828992t

Michele Artist: The lines are always better when the first open up and as a suggestion never go before a holiday. Alot of quality styles , pricing is fair, and staff is accommodating for the most part. Large store, not alot of sales or rotation of styles. Also shop online before dragging yourself down here, because there's always sales online.
Aasif Halim: I've always been a shopper at H&M and never have been treated in a disrespectful manner until today. As we were searching for a shirt and talking about the fitting rooms being closed due to COVID, a male African American employee with a high pitched voice rudely accused us of unbuttoning all of the shirts and told us that "we will not use the sales floor as a fitting room". I myself work in the customer service industry and have never spoken to a customer like that. Nor have I ever accused customers of things. Customers can be in the wrong and when they are, you can politely let them know. If that doesn't work, you can take whatever necessary measures, but to treat customers the way this rude employee treated us today is not the way. I will definitely not be returning to this location.
