Payne Tia Barksdale: My wife has always been a big fan of this H&M store location. But I never really saw the hype, it wasn’t until yesterday. When we were on one of our shopaholic sprees. My wife was trying to find a specific hoodie. I was looking for clothes to match a few pair of new sneakers , that I’ve gotten recently. I love that Tacarra saw that we needed help and immediately ask to assist. Just when we thought about leaving. She assure us , that what we were looking for was actually in the store. She showed us to different departments and level of the store and even tried on clothes we thought we couldn’t fit. Yesterday I got lucky because I literally found everything I was looking for and then some. I will be back soon. I love shopping at H&M now !

Philly Paul: The young fella in the blue cap wasn’t remotely interested with helping anyone and finally walked up to assist with register(line was getting long) but didn’t made it past one customer and didn’t appear to care. Thankfully another gentleman wearing glasses came up and was extremely professional. This pretty on par with Detroit since I’ve moved here, there doesn’t seem to be much of a desire to put in an extra effort. Puzzling.

Starpointe Photography: This is one of the newer stores located in the strip mall on the Southeast corner of 8 mile and Woodward. I was in the store for about 13min and at no point did either of the 2 employees say a word to me. The store isn't that big , so I'm sure they saw me. One half of the store is for plus which cool but it's hard to shop comfortably. Racks are over packed and too close together.

She picked out a few cute things for me. The only thing that I suggest of all Rainbow and clothing stores is to carry more L and XL. Apparently those sizes are the most popular. And they wonder why their racks are still filled with smalls and mediums. This is not the 70s we have meat on our bones now and curves. I very humbly ask all the stores to get with the times or they will disappear

Tom Wolfarth: Stumbled upon the tour with Jacob which was a treat adding to everything else we did on my 40th birthday. As a kid Born and Raised in South Detroit, who had to move away in my youth due to my family relocating, I love every opportunity to go back and learn about the city and my heritage. We went from the DIA for Van Gogh, to the Fisher Building and this tour, and then onto LCA for a Red Wings game. For me, the Fisher Building Tour was the best part of the day (after all the Wings only showed up for the 3rd!... that's OK, give them a few more seasons, eh?) and it's because of the passion Jacob had for the building and its history. 100 year old paintings are neat, but you don't get someone like Jacob talking about the stuff, even through the audio tours. This will be something I tell everyone about when I'm sticking up for Detroit out and about in the rest of the world...tldr: 10/10, best historical tour I've ever been a part of

Surrounded by the building's majestic architecture and sumptuous interior details, Jacob, our tour guide, shared interesting stories and in-depth details about this iconic building. The tour is about an hour and entertaining throughout. Recommend taking all your out of town visitors here or for locals interested in knowing more about our landmarks.

Will Behrick: Pure Detroit is a cool shop at the Fisher building where you can get made in Detroit items, or pretty much anything Detroit related; from Faygo and Vernor's to Detroit style pizza kits. They have books, clothing, hats and bags. They also host tours for the Fisher building, but I haven't been on one to comment. I'll definitely shop here again.

Justin Mosley: My wife asked for a purse from Pure Detroit, the purse is made out of seat belt fabric- pretty cool. She sent me a picture with the title of the purse. I typed it in found the purse and ordered it. After receiving a lighter shade I reached out to the customer service email. I honestly expected to just receive a generic apology. Chelsea was great immediate response, it was pretty late in the day as well. She had me send the purse back and had another one made in a darker shade! My wife loves it thank you! FANTASTIC CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Ayah Kesrawani: Honestly don’t come here, clothes are cute even though not size inclusive, but only left with a terrible mood after. Came in with my friends and the younger sales associate who we saw at first was very kind and helpful. Shared some genuine interest in helping and selling us clothes. There was 3 of us and only two fitting rooms but we didn’t mind waiting since we all wanted to try on clothes and see eachother in the outfits. One room was available for one of us, but the other 2 had to wait patiently for a room to try on clothes too. After it opened one of the two went in and began changing. One friend was waiting outside and seeing our outfits as we tried them on. While this is happening an older woman possibly owner or manager came and interrupted us to ask if we could all share one dressing room because other people in the store wanted to try on clothes. Mind you there was only one other person in store who they seemed to be friends with. After we politely declined as we waited, and others are capable of waiting she continues to hang around the dressing room and watch us, making us feel unwelcomed and rushed. Based on the other reviews I don’t doubt it wasn’t racially motivated, because we are very visually Arab girls. They seem like they only want to help white costumers. The two friends ended up cramming in the smallest dressing room and she continued to follow us as we were putting stuff away as well as approaching the register.I’m sure this will receive a condescending, unapologetic response with no accountability taken I just want to spare anyone from feeling terrible after shopping. The younger associate was genuinely so kind but the old woman was too disrespectful to ever come back. Save your money, time, and mood.

Janis MacDonald: The return policy is ridiculous. I started shopping early for Xmas (beg of Nov). I only wanted store credit, as I had purchased the wrong sizes. They would not honor the return (past 14 days). I will not be purchasing anything in the future.

Ali Magyaros: Bird Bee has been my go to for years. The atmosphere of the store is immaculate, the staff are amazing and the selection of pieces are curated and incredible. Taylor, the owner, is extremely talented in picking out all the items for the store. I love everything BB stands for and I highly recommend to follow them on social media so you can see all the new items they get in! It’s so helpful, especially now that I don’t live in Detroit anymore. Also- they have the QUICKEST shipping ever. Everything I buy gets to my house within just a few days. There is truly something for everyone here and I can’t recommend it enough!

April Jones: I was at the store recently this past Sunday with my daughter to exchange a jacket that she purchased the day before. We walked in the store and was not greeted but several people were greeted after us. My daughter was looking around trying to find another item, when an associate asked her was she doing an exchange and took her bag after my daughter told her yes. Not once did the associate say hello. Another customer comes in the store browser with a bag in her hand to do an exchange but no one approached her to ask for her bag. Plus the same customer did an exchange for her money back of an item she purchased the day before as well. My daughter was told that she couldn’t get her money back only exchange. There are several issues here, that didn’t sit well with me. I will never go into this store again. My daughter and I were definitely racially profiled.

Seriously though, couldn't find it anywhere - except here! - and sellers on Poshmark were charging $500 (it retails for $120). Thank you guys so much for shipping it out immediately after I placed the order so that it got here in only two days; I absolutely love it!I can't believe some of the reviews on here... giving one or two stars because the store was closed when the person went, or they "weren't greeted with a hello." Retail is very busy at times and no one intentionally ignores customers, how is that conducive to sales/profit? People need to stop behaving so childishly and having such odd demands. If I go into a store and I'm not greeted, I assume the salesperson/people are busy with something else - not that they just "hate me" and don't want my business.
