KappaGecko: If you plan on buying a bicycle from Dick’s Sporting Goods. Make sure it is completely how you like it as you only have a 24 hour window to exchange or return it. They will not work with you anytime over the 24 hour period thus meaning you are stuck with a bike that might be either too large or too small of a frame. Terrible customer service.

Anya O: The one floor person we saw seemed nice. However, when we went to check out, the woman at the register looked upset we interrupted her phone time. Was nasty and short with us, only bagged half our items, putting the two light weights in a bag, and snapped at my husband to take our reciept. She left me to bag the two heavier weights and just turned her back on us after the transaction had gone through. Worst service ever. We dont go there often, but lately, the few times a year we do the cashiers always seem like we're putting them out by having them ring our products up. This last time was by far the worst. From now on we're going to make the hike to REI or Dunhams.

Steve Blake: I happened to walk into RUNdetroit by chance today. I knew I needed new shoes for the season, but I didn't know how much help I could use in getting them. Kristie (forgive my potentially incorrect spelling) was a helpful and assuring guide who helped me find the perfect fit for my foot and form. Friendly, knowledgeable service with great prices. I'll be coming back.
James Downs: Justin the store owner was out on the floors interacting with customers and answering questions. He's very personable and was very knowledgeable about different training methods and fueling strategies and answered basically every question I could come up with! Not to mention his resume. Highly recommend

Stephen Caren: RUNDetroit is a wonderful store that has incredibly helpful employees who are not only very knowledgeable, but care more about getting you the right fit for your shoes than selling you a more expensive product. They also hold group runs and separate running events which allow you to meet other runners and get in your long run with others. Additionally, there's a loyalty program which lets you earn points towards a $25 off reward. I highly recommend coming here if you're trying to get into running or if you want to check out new gear, clothes, or nutrition.

My husband and I were walking around looking at the different sections for one. I found one I liked but I did not find my size so I figured I’ll just order it online. The ENTIRE TIME the staff was watching us and followed us as if we’re stealing. This includes the older bald gentleman working as well as the two young females at the cash register. I bet if we were a Caucasian couple we’d be free to shop without 10 sets of eyes on us. Disturbing and uncomfortable visit, I will never return here. I can guarantee my salary is enough to buy whatever I want in this store.

The only answer I got was “I don’t know” He didn’t take the security tag off of my items either & when I went back in to have them removed my “thank you have a nice day” was returned with a silent stare. Everything has been moved around and it’s impossible to find anything you are looking for. Sale signs and prices are outdated. Manager is rude, and you can tell he really doesn’t care. It’s a store like this that explains why people don’t go out to shop anymore and retail businesses are going away as the experience here was terrible.

I am handicapped w arthritis and my walking is limited.The snippy response I got from the girl who answered the phone was “ we are not opening our mall door until 11. Well, that’s not what I asked.People were in there shopping. All the clerk had to do was tell me to go outside and the entrance is to the right of J.C. Penney’s. Instead she didn’t offer this but again said “ we are not opening our mall doors until 11. Very poor customer service and frustrating.Find out who was cashiering around 1045 and u will know which girl who answered. I think she was wearing glasses too. I found my way on myOwn with no help from your staff. They need better training. This is not how you treat people .

Lauren Haight: This store is an embarrassment. Volleyball is one of the most popular sports and it never has decent shoes. Mizuno is a top tier brand, yet this tore never has any shoes in stock in sizes for women. It’s definitely catered to men. I also spent 20 minutes looking for a size/color. Couldn’t find anyone to help. I ended up settling for Nike (terrible vball shows) a few sizes up. Every time I come to this store, I can never find anyone in the show department to help and everything volleyball is out if stock.

L W: Don’t bother ordering online or on the app (even though they send incentives to try to get you to use their app). I tried four times over two days to place orders at this store and the Sterling Heights store, I used different types of delivery thinking that might be the issue: same day delivery, regular delivery and In store pick up. All items show as in stock. On the final attempt, I even got an estimated time of delivery. Yet every tine they just CANCEL the order with zero explanation. I ordered these as gifts and now the recipient won’t get any of it. It’s absolutely horrendous management and customer service, I won’t shop there again.

The coupons did not have the statement of the on line restriction printed on them but the cashier would not let me use them. I was very disappointed with the organization.
