Wendy Maldonado: I am very disappointed with my first Busted Bra Shop experience and won’t be making any future purchases from this company. The sales ladies in the Rochester location were very helpful while I was in the store. After being measured and then trying many of their recommended options, I settled on one that I wasn’t sure fit very well. The Sales person told me not to worry and that I should take it home, keep the tag on while wearing it for a few hours and see how it felt during normal activities It felt awful! It was not a good fit and kept moving out of position. I took it off, tag intact, wrapped it back in the tissue paper and store bag. I took it back within 14 days as instructed to exchange for a better fitting bra. The sales person in the store practically examined it under a magnifying glass, took photos of the bra, told me she could see dye on one of the straps and would not allow the exchange. I was absolutely shocked and left with a bra that I will never wear. What a terrible sales technique! Ladies beware - if you’re testing a new bra out at home, apparently you should not wear a shirt over it!

I brought my fiancee in for a fitting which went wrong. She was never measured. After returning 4 of5 bras. On or about January 29, 2023, store manager Ms Sam treated her unfair, unconscionable, unethical conduct of trade which is unlawful after I called her picking up a recent order that had been sized inappropriately (a) Ms Sam was misunderstanding as to the source the goods and service tendered by another sales representative. As a patron patronizing down town Detroit it was as if her character was being assassinated by an assassin's bullet.If the item was no longer available, should she not have been notified? Was that day purposed "FOR THE LOVE OF MONEY," rather than a satisfied customer, GOD help us as a nation of people!Nor has the owner reached out to my fiancee, very unpleasant and unprofessional.

But, that all came to a stop today. I just had twin boys (by c-section) and needed some good nursing bras. I purchased several nursing bras from the Rochester location (first time at this location- it’s also an hour away from my home) and spent $200+ on three bras. Two of the bras were the same in style just different colors (per the sales associate), so I didn’t see a reason to try on both colors. I go to put the bra on maybe a week later and the bra I didn’t try on in store DOES NOT fit! I had already discarded the tags because again I was told by the sales associate the bra was the same as the one I did try on in store that fit perfectly. Make a long story short, I call the store let them know my situation and they extend the store return date policy since I wasn’t sure when I could make it there since I couldn’t drive due to still healing from the c section.I am finally able to get someone to make the return for me, and they tell me that I can’t exchange or even get a store credit for the bra because it looks washed and there is a single “hair” in the bra!!! I don’t know about you, but never would I EVER try to return an item and it’s been washed! If I washed it, I planned to keep it and not bring it back! I also know that hair sheds and even having the bra on for 60 seconds, there could’ve been a hair that fell from my head because hair SHEDS!With all my purchases I’ve done at Busted, this is THEE first time I have ever had to bring anything back, because I have always received the right sizes. So, it was to my dismay that the sales associate and management were rigid and unsympathetic to my situation. They did not try to accommodate me in ANY WAY!!!This occurrence has definitely left a very bad taste in my mouth and I can’t patronize any establishment that won’t even try to accommodate valued customers. I work extremely too hard to have my dollars thrown away! I have a $70 bra that does not fit, never worn or washed, that now will just collect dust.Needless to say, Busted will not be seeing another dime of this hard working, mother of 3’s money! And, I will let my mother, mother in law, sisters, friends, cousins, and co-workers know that Busted won’t value their money either!!!!

I walked in pursued for about 20 minutes never once got a hello, welcome to lane Bryant or someone to come up. The place had about 3 other people none of which either were being helped and 2 of whom I spoke to. There were 4 associates all at the front talking to each other and one that looked like a friend of one of the associates. I waited another 10 mins. Made it obvious that I could use a hand. I was looking to spend a couple hundred as I’m pregnant and needed a party dress, new underwear, a few bras and some pants. That was the goal. I had to track someone down who was visibly annoyed and asked for a room who told me all the rooms were open and I could just go in. A manager asked finally after 45 min if I found all I needed but it was just in passing as they moved to the back of the store, when I said yes, I need a little help, she said oh well I’m off now but I’ll tell the others. I waited 15 more mins walking around making eye contact and no one helped me. 5/6/2023 3-4:30p. I bought one bra as proof and when I asked for the discount that was advertised everywhere I was told the bras in clearance don’t count. Ok. I paid and left. I’ll be going to Torrid or someplace else.

I have not had these bras for 1 year yet and the wire has snapped in half on each bra, while wearing them. For the $70 price paid for each, I was hoping to do an exchange, get some type of explanation of the quality, receive some type of support or something, and I got nothing! Instead, I was told that if I wanted to purchase another bra, I’d have to order online because they didn’t have any in the store that was my size. I was told there are no warranties on bras because of wear and tear and washing them in a washing machine. Never was I offered to make the purchase in-store and have it shipped there or to my home, there was no empathy for having a receipt that says the bras were purchased less than a year ago and when I asked to be sized, I was greeted with a “girl we stopped doing that when covid hit,” even though I had a mask on. I am very dissatisfied with the quality of service that I received. This is my second time in the store with a horrible customer experience. I asked if I am out of luck about the bras and if I needed to spend another $200 replacing them and I was simply told, yes.

Pam Siddock: I stopped in for the first time today looking for a gift. There were two associates working. Neither one of them said hi or acknowledged me in any way. I was the only shopper in there at 2:45pm. After about 10 minutes, I walked out without a purchase. Lousy customer service.

OO OO: I have gone to Livonia, MI, Lane Bryant for a long while now, and NORMALLY, I received EXCELLENT customer service. This incident will not stop me from going there because the Livonia Lane Bryant team there is excellent, but I felt this moment was essential to let Lane Bryant Corporate know they have a problem. I stopped going to the Lane Bryant in Southfield, MI, location because of their poor managerial services. In any case, Lane Bryant Livonia knows me by name, so this incident is highly upsetting. I am tooling around the Lane Bryant Livonia store shopping etc., and it is close to their closing time on 11/16/2022. There were a few customers and two workers in the Livonia Lane Bryant store. There happens to be one white older lady and one black younger lady folding clothes and straightening things up. I say the race only because of the incident at the Livonia Lane Bryant store. The white worker asked me why I didn't frequent the Southfield Lane Bryant store, and I told her that there was poor customer service, and that was why I was there (Livonia Lane Bryant) store. She said she's heard that and said you know what "they" call the Lane Bryant Allen Park store. I said No...I didn't even know there was a Lane Bryant in Allen Park. She said they call it the "N***er" store, the ---racial word used in a derogatory manner towards Black People. Everything stopped for me! I looked her in the face and said WHY YOU WOULD SAY THAT WORD TO ME??? WHY WOULD YOU USE THAT TERM WITH ME? Honestly, it took everything in my soul not to curse that Lady out, but I decided to make it a teachable moment, and besides, a young Black Woman was watching me and I am not going to perpetuate negativity. I did not raise my voice but there was no doubt that I did NOT appreciate the situation .I told the Livonia Lane Bryant customer service lady how offended I was about her using that term and that the situation could have been different if I were a different kind of person. I gave her MANY opportunities to apologize, and this lady said well, that is what she told me. I said I wasn't present during your prior conversation, so I have no clue who she is, and you said the word to me. STILL NO APOLOGY!! I spoke to her for at least 5 to 7 minutes explaining why it was offensive. NOT ONE APOLOGY! NO REMORSE. I turned away from her and dismissed her, clearly a lost cause. She was very aware that I was upset (if I did not care was a person, it would be her). I wanted to speak with the young black lady because it was a tense situation and give her words of encouragement. The white lady stood there for a long while as I turned my back, I believe to hear what I would say to the young black lady, and I waited until she left to help a customer. I can only imagine how that young black lady is treated regularly. The microaggressions are probably UNREAL. Customer Service is truly a lost Art Form! This situation saddened me because this situation is an EXAMPLE of what Black People live with daily. I am tired of giving adults the "I DiDN'T KNOW" excuse. Lane Bryant, screen your employees! Diversity Training is in order! #SpoiledExperience

This was definitely not customer service that would make me return to this location, sorry ladies I will be making my purchase some place else! Sommer Williams: Today was one of the worst shopping / customer service experiences I have ever had. I am a professional woman, business owner and manager so Sunday is my day to take care of my own business. I ordered a dress online and this location was the only one in a 25 mile radius that had the dress so when stopping in I decided to look around. I picked something quick and went to the register 2 ladies were unpacking boxes as I walked up and I was not greeted and they both continued in their activity. I was told to go to the register on the end; I moved down and waited 2 minutes before I was helped. They never spoke to me but continued laughing and talking to one another which is very rude. I really was going to put my items back but decided not to allow these two to deter me. While the one associate went and got my dress I looked and saw a different pair of pants that I liked better and when I asked her when she got back if I could exchange the pants out ; she made it seem like I was inconveniencing her. Note: There was no other customer in the store. When you represent a company you are the face of that company to every customer, and today was not a good representation of what good customer service looks like. It is my hope that this review will be used as a teaching opportunity.

April Dillard: My experience is the last and only 1x experience I had when I actually called this store. I was interested in possibly purchasing my items in my cart, in person instead of online. It seem to be an easier process because with ordering online as a new customer, **PLEASE READ THE FINE PRINT** it's a lot involved if item doesn't fit properly, and also how you purchase it makes a difference. In addition paying a $8.95 s/h charge even when have over $300 in shopping cart already in place. I still have to pay for s/h? Most online companies offer **FREE SHIPPING** these days. Before I can speak on what I was calling for I asked the person on the other line, whom am I speaking with? She said the store manager, I would expect as common courtesy, also to have a name attached with you our title. She refused to give me her name. I asked her what's the problem to give me your name? She rudely says "Ma'am how can I help you?? Really!! This is how you talk to your customers?? She still refuses to give me her name!! I immediately asked for the district manager name and contact number. She provided this to me and ran the number off like this is a familiar situation. She ws very comfortable with this because most likely her been a problem before. Store manager finally gives me her name which I "SUSAN"I left a vml with the district manager name Patrice. I also followed up, with a call to customer service, and now I have a case#. I will never step a foot or patronize this store . She will continue to loose customers with this bad attitude!! I don't care about your title, it's all about respecting your customers, and keeping them happy, to come back and spend money. Obviously customer service isn't important to this store manager "SUSAN". Please don't patronize a place of business that treats their customers disrespectful. Not a good for her or for Ashely Stewart!! Signed unhappy 1x customer!! 😢☹️ if I could give Zero star's I would've!!

Lakita Cameron: I called the store to check their hours before driving over and was told they were open until 6. I arrived at 4:03pm to find the doors were locked. The associates would not even come to the door. I called inside and was told they are closed. I said your supposed to be open til 6. Their response was we close when they tell us to close with an attitude. With attitudes and policies like this, your store will be closed permanently soon.
