Payne Tia Barksdale: My wife has always been a big fan of this H&M store location. But I never really saw the hype, it wasn’t until yesterday. When we were on one of our shopaholic sprees. My wife was trying to find a specific hoodie. I was looking for clothes to match a few pair of new sneakers , that I’ve gotten recently. I love that Tacarra saw that we needed help and immediately ask to assist. Just when we thought about leaving. She assure us , that what we were looking for was actually in the store. She showed us to different departments and level of the store and even tried on clothes we thought we couldn’t fit. Yesterday I got lucky because I literally found everything I was looking for and then some. I will be back soon. I love shopping at H&M now !

Thankfully another gentleman wearing glasses came up and was extremely professional. This pretty on par with Detroit since I’ve moved here, there doesn’t seem to be much of a desire to put in an extra effort. Puzzling.

Mindy: The only reason I gave 2 stars was because it was a young man on the floor helping, and a mannerable guard at the door. This place doesn't let you try on clothes at all (pre dating covid19 mind you). The women that work here are so nasty to you when asking questions. It's only like your job ma'ams. Then not only do they Not let you keep the hangers, the cashier balled up my clothes and threw them in the bag. I bought a tiara as well. Asked her to put it in a jewelry bag. She stated we don't have those, but we have these. Luke Vader: I was coming to Detroit for an interview and my suit was left behind in Portland. I was so lucky to have Bhavana there to help me in picking out something. She bent over backwards to get me exactly what I needed and she did it when the store was close to closure. Usually you feel sort of rushed and like they want you to leave when a store is about to close but she was just interested in getting me exactly what I needed. Because of her I got the job and I will be back. Extremely impressed. Prices were good for the quality. The shirt and pants are comfortable and very nice.
Jamie Stubbs: Was not greeted by the 2 women working. When I walked to the counter with an item I wanted to try on, they just looked at me.. I then had to ask to try it on. Tried on item, did not fit, had to walk to front exit of store to find them to let them know it did not work for me and that the dress had a torn belt holder/string broken. They both just looked at me and one said "oh". Not a word more did not take item, and they then turned to each other and continued their conversation. I put the dress back, and walked out of the store with no"thank you for coming into our store" nothing not a word.

Gavriel Ross: When my wife and i first walked into the store, we were overwhelmed with strong and mixed perfume scents. It was terrible. Once we got past that, we asked a store employee for directions through the store. Two had no idea about the layout. Once we got where we were going, the folks there obviously hated their job. They were more than just rude. Probably because this particular person was upset that we had to take her away from her screen. Also very over priced. We went to another store and found the exact same brands for less.

Alysia Massey: Pulled up at 5:10pm tonight 1/8/23, and the doors were locked/closed. hours listed are 6pm close Sundays. Guess you just let employees determine shop hours and negate potential sales revenue. Shaking my head- what's bad is I wasn't surprised.

Starpointe Photography: This is one of the newer stores located in the strip mall on the Southeast corner of 8 mile and Woodward. I was in the store for about 13min and at no point did either of the 2 employees say a word to me. The store isn't that big , so I'm sure they saw me. One half of the store is for plus which cool but it's hard to shop comfortably. Racks are over packed and too close together.

She picked out a few cute things for me. The only thing that I suggest of all Rainbow and clothing stores is to carry more L and XL. Apparently those sizes are the most popular. And they wonder why their racks are still filled with smalls and mediums. This is not the 70s we have meat on our bones now and curves. Michele Artist: The lines are always better when the first open up and as a suggestion never go before a holiday. Alot of quality styles , pricing is fair, and staff is accommodating for the most part. Large store, not alot of sales or rotation of styles. Also shop online before dragging yourself down here, because there's always sales online.
Aasif Halim: I've always been a shopper at H&M and never have been treated in a disrespectful manner until today. As we were searching for a shirt and talking about the fitting rooms being closed due to COVID, a male African American employee with a high pitched voice rudely accused us of unbuttoning all of the shirts and told us that "we will not use the sales floor as a fitting room". I myself work in the customer service industry and have never spoken to a customer like that. Nor have I ever accused customers of things. Customers can be in the wrong and when they are, you can politely let them know. If that doesn't work, you can take whatever necessary measures, but to treat customers the way this rude employee treated us today is not the way. I will definitely not be returning to this location.
