Boneyard Dog: Just recently brought a home with a pool, my very first time owning one, desperately needing help, after trying a few other pool supply stores, I decided to go to pool town which was much closer, I have to say that this place was just the kind of place you would want to go for good service and all the help you might need, just to put a plug in for Danielle a young lady who I found to be very helpful and knowledgeable and kaiden who also was very helpful I would recommend this store in Redford Michigan to anyone who's looking for a store with good customer service and support, this will probably be my last stop when looking for pool supply store I think my pool has found a home 😉👍

Savannah Deykes: I cannot recommend this place enough! We went in back in October because we were interested in a specific hot tub, everything in the store is clean and well displayed, employees wearing masks and everything. The manager, Chris was very knowledgeable, polite, able to answer my multitude of question and explained that though there was a large backorder on hot tubs they actually had a floor model set up if we wanted to see. Needless to say, we went in, he answered all of our questions, and we placed the order that day.With the backlog from COVID, it did take a few months to come in, which they had of course warned us about, but once the truck came in they called to schedule the best time to deliver it to our home. The crew that did the hot tub drop off were amazing, they brought it all the way up the driveway right where we needed it, and delivered all of the other parts (stairs/cover/shock/chlorine) that came with our package. They even installed the filter for us and explained where the access panel was for best placement.

Much better alternative than national chain store for pool supplies with better prices. Their best prices are just before the season begins in early May.

Gebo's Garage: OMG, hear me out. I am a frustrated (new) hot tub owner.I am having trouble getting my water right. Those little test strips where you match colors, although close, can be off. I have several brands, none of them match the others reading. Not knowing the true levels leads to trouble with cloudiness or foam. Etc.I was so frustrated, I was ready to sell the tub at a huge loss; If I cant maintain my water, at least I can maintain my sanity by ditching this thing, right?.But then I found this place and it changed my life. I brought in a water sample, they put it into a machine (not test strips), and then a print out tells you exactly what you need to do to correct the imbalance.I got home, followed the directions and the next morning, my water was CRYSTAL clear!I like that there is no pressure to buy stuff you don't need; just good honest advice.Thanks Water Works for walking me off the cliff. LOL.

Michael McMaster: Went to this location to buy a hot tub, I was very disappointed when the manager here entered the wrong information in the computer and charged me an incorrect price, when the mistake was found the manager blamed me for his mistake and said he shouldn't refund my money. Pooltown has a great selection and I would consider shopping at another location, but will not return here as long as this manager is in charge.

We had to purchase a new pool so we thought we would try Pool Town! Mike the Asst Mgr did a fantastic job selling us a new Doughboy! Just fantastic. Every possible detail. Mark took over the ordering of the pool. Since August I have been to Pool Town and Mark several times for supplies and help! Mark takes the time and also has 100% concern to take care of the customer. I have also watched when I am there for supplies. I had an issue today with my filter motor. Mark took the time to tell me how to try and fix it. It worked !!! I cannot refer a place more than Pool Town! I have already sent people there and I know people who use Pool Town as well for pools and hot tubs that are extremely satisfied. Thanx for caring and giving great service guys! THE BEST!

Robin meloche: I'm not a pool owner, but my neighbour is. He had his liner replaced on his inground pool. They thought it was wise to run LOUD honing sound machinery ALL DAY & NIGHT on a weeknight. I guess sleep isn't important. Such things should be done on a weekend when non retired people work and children go to school. The sound even made my dog have fits

Countless appointments not honoured and repeated lack of response to address concerns with installation. Lynn Ann: They did my pool a few years ago and it is absolutely stunning. I’ve never had a pool before, it was a big learning curve. They were always super helpful in explaining things, I think I finally have it figured out. I also have a hot tub which was purchased from another company, I had some issues with it. I had struggled for months trying to get rid of mold I thought but it when I went to PBA, they knew right away that it was biofilm. They told me what to do and now it is finally perfect. I’m so happy.

Ashley Westbury: If I could give 0 stars I would. I was supposed to have my pool opened by them and we've never had an inground pool so someone was supposed to show us how everything works. Scheduled the day months in advance... took the day off work so someone could explain everything, ... Waited and waited and waited.... I called the store. Said they're behind they will come tomorrow..... Tomorrow came.. and went and no one came and no one called... Once again I had to call they said "oh they're about A WEEEK behind". .. Worst customer service EVER ! When they finally opened it, I asked the 2 men opening it how to use it they said " we just open it someone else is comming later to explain how to use it" and left .. I called... And they said yeah someone should be by this week.... Been almost 3 weeks now. I gave up on this compan.... TERRIBLE COMPANY!!!!! DO NOT USE THEM.

Chris Cam: Prompt, knowledgeable, courteous service. Testing is important and they excel at it. Make sure they do the test with metals, phosphates and stabilizer. It's not needed every time, but you want to catch problems fast.I've tried a number of the pool companies, but I feel most comfortable with Pools by Angelo. They stand behind their products and their work.
Mark Davey: DO NOT deal with this place. Absolutely the worst customer service in the pool industry. There are ALOT of choices, but this place is the worst choice. Feel free to look me up for truth. Jim Waldo: In the past 5 years we have purchased a Doughboy AGP, a Dream Maker Spa and a Hayward Heater. Each time we've added, there was only one place to go. Pool and spa ownership can be intimidating, especially if you are a novice like me. I cannot overstate the importance of finding a store to not only sell you high quality products but to serve as a guide for the intricacies that come with pool ownership. Gary and his team nail this aspect. We ran into an issue with our new spa recently, it happens. I called Pooltown and spoke to Gary and by that evening I received a call from the warranty contractor. Unfortunately due to the demand, it was going to be a few weeks before we could get an appointment. Given the time gap, Gary ordered a replacement package and came to my home and personally swapped out the bad unit. It really was a testament to finding a partner that will go above and beyond to keep us running.

I bought a pool two years ago and needed some up keep. Rob was so very helpful he has very good people skills always smiling and ready to find a solution to your every pool need all the other employees where where very helpful as well. Stop in ask for rob for all your pool needs.

I headed up to pool town for some advice. Jeff Hodges helped me out and my pool water is crystal clear and I have a happy family swimming this week!!!! He knows his stuff and went above and beyond. He wrote his number on the back of his business card and I was able to get in touch with him for extra advice. If your struggling with you pool go here!!! They had a very nice selection of supplies, chemicals, and products in the store too- prices were very good. Thank you Jeff!

Sobhi Zeidan: I paid the deposit for a pool in February of 2021. I was told I would receive it end of March the beginning of April. It is now August and I still do not have the pool and they do not want to refund me my money. You sold me a product that you do not have and you did not get and you do not want to refund me my money. I cannot wait any longer I do not want a pool anymore, the summer is almost over. I will be taking this to BBB and further action will be taken as well.

Bradford A. Ciecko: I have mixed feelings about this store. The prices are a little higher and the service a little less than stellar. I called, was on hold for 17 minutes. During that time decided to drive up there and when I walked in and one woman came out from the back and another from one of the aisles I was asked if I could be helped. I said I was still on hold from 17 minutes ago and showed them the call. I asked about a liner for an above ground pool. I was price shopping. The liner I was showed I'd be getting had a print on it. The one I got didn't have a print and was an entirely different shade of blue. I was a little let down for sure. The quality of the liner is fine, no issues with that but it isn't what I was told I was getting. I also inquired about an automatic vaccum and they wanted double (almost) of what anyone else wanted for the same piece. Not sure why and they had to order it as well. I'll shop here if I don't feel like getting stuck at the traffic lights to get to Pool Town. Otherwise, it's just not worth it in this store.

Chris Connor: There isn't a better pool store for 100 miles. Blake and his team know what they're talking about. Bring in a sample and leave with a solution. I've been trusting these guys for years, six stars if I could.
Boournes: Outstanding advice from Blake! He could have sold me a whole valve I didn't need, but instead he actually showed me how to disassemble and fix the ball valve. I bought a valve handle from him, but he wasn't even trying to sell me that. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff, which is extra helpful for me as a first time pool owner. This will be my permanent pool store unless something changes.

Michael Karens: We’ve spent thousands of dollars at B&B over the years buying supplies and rebuilding our motors. The manager is very knowledgeable about pools and can provide a good consultation on repairing broken or rotted parts. However, respect and customer service is lacking. As soon as the manager found out we didn't want to buy a new motor (we had actually come in to get a quote for a motor repair which would ultimately cost the same price as a new motor), he scolded us for asking a question about the pool shock and algicide we were still purchasing. He told us in a very condescending manner, loud enough to ensure the whole store heard us, that he was finished answering our questions because we were not planning on buying their new motor. Again, this was a question about the shock and algicide he recommended and that we were still purchasing ($125 worth). That’s no way to treat customers, whether new or old. Most certainly, it’s a definite way to ensure we are customers no more. I love supporting small businesses that are deserving of my business. Small businesses CAN offer things that big box online retailers cannot, and that's respectful customer service whether or not a sale is made. Despite checking out with $125 in product, the manager didn't think we were deserving of his respect. If a small business in 2020 gives you no respect, you're better off buying parts and supplies from Amazon.
