Patrick Runkle: Super impressed with Steve. True professional at his craft. He did not rush the stencil. We looked a couple different sizes and anatomical graphics to get this right. He also had to hear my wierd thoughts on life, so props to him. The shop however is a nice clean building, which I appreciate from a health and sterile perspective, but they keep thier front door locked. It just looks like a closed up shop from the outside. Please update your covid policy to make a more open and welcome environment.

Brooks Weber: To be clear, my experience took place in 2019 and was motivated by the death of my folks. It was to be my first tattoo and sleeve and I traveled an hour from the east-side to Iconic. I made an appt with Andrea based on her online samples and a connection to my Dad, who had taught at CCS where Andrea attended. I came in for my appt and showed her my ideas. She took a $200 deposit, committed to working on concept and scheduled me out several weeks. She later called/texted me saying she was moving and her sister was having a baby so she had no art or concept yet. She said if she didn’t complete them before appt., we could reschedule. I asked her to email me some examples before I drove another hour into the city. No provided no follow up communication. I later got a call from studio mgr telling me I missed an appt. After explaining what had occurred, he had Andrea speak to me and she said “her professional policy” was not to email art or discuss prior to an appt...then she asked me to drive in and if I didn’t like it, I could reschedule. No explanation of this at first meeting or in subsequent communication. I’m a 60 yr old Army veteran spending in excess of $1000 for my first tattoo to basically commemorate my family, she knew this, but acted insensitive and unprofessional. Lastly, Andrea’s speech was slurred in several conversations. It made me feel she was not reliable and was throwing my concept together at last minute. In the end, they refused to show me ANY art or concept or refund my deposit. I’m told she’s gone now but the owner/mgr of the shop at the time should have done right by me, either refund my money or refer me to another artist.
Brenden Hoy: Steve is an incredible artist and he absolutely knocked my piece out of the park. He is also a super nice guy and made the entire experience comfortable and welcoming. I can’t recommend him enough!

Alexandra Chisholm: I came to see Rich last month for a double flat piercing and had a great experience. He was extremely knowledgeable about what would and wouldn't work with my ear shape, and very patiently went over all my options with me. He was very gentle and explained everything as he was doing it, and worked with very sharp needles which made the pain far less than I expected. Move and Shake: Stopped by at the end of 2017 for a re-ink of a tattoo, Matt was as cordial and cool as he was back in the day when he first did the work. I was a walk in and he was able to see me right away and worked very hard to make sure my tattoos were lined up perfect with my anatomy, which I appreciate him taking the time to do that so much. The tattoos turned out better than I could have imagined, very clean and bold lines. He also made me feel comfortable and relaxed as I was alone and I honestly forgot I was getting tattooed because he has a very gentle hand and is great at making conversation. The shop was laid back and clean. Thank you Seth for your hard work and making my tattoos beautiful!!!

Kate Hayman: Made multiple appointments with Andrew for two tattoos that would easily cost over $1200. He did art work for us that we were thrilled about. We waited for months to get on his books, and then when we arrived for our appointment, he told us that he was sick and probably not feeling well enough to do our tattoos so he would have to reschedule. We were disappointed, but that was understandable so we made an appointment for five weeks later. That was the soonest he could get us back on his books after canceling last minute. He confirmed the day before, and then the morning of our rescheduled appointment he canceled again at the last minute, saying he just wasn’t feeling confident and didn’t want to do our tattoos. He said at that point we should find another artist- after we waited for him for over six months! I’m sure other people here are fantastic but I was shocked that somebody treated me so badly when I was nothing but patient. Whatever you do, don’t wait months to get on his books. If you can get in soon, I’m sure it will be great but if you have to wait, you may be wasting a lot of time to never get your tattoo done. Or pick anybody else at this shop.Service:Tattoos

The whole thing took about an hour from the time I walked in to the time I walked out. Super fair pricing, too. My artist, Seth, was amazing! He was quick and precise. This piece means a lot to me and he made sure my lines were nice and clean. I was nervous about the pain level, given the position, but it was virtually pain free!
