Seth Kleinglass: Great shop downtown right on Michigan Avenue. They have a number of very good artists working here. Each has a unique style but they all work together very well. I liked the vibe of the shop too. Everyone was friendly and the girl working up front (sorry I didn’t get her name) was awesome to work with. They are very clean, knowledgeable with their craft and have very good rates too. I have been looking for a new shop for a while and this is my spot! So far I have had work from Buddy and Jay and it has been a great experience. Ill be back.

I don't usually have reason to leave a review like this but seriously, wow.First, I scheduled an appointment over a month in advance for them to reschedule it the day of. Then when I showed up they told me they don't do finger tattoos, which was confirmed over the phone. Then when I was completing paperwork, they asked me to pay in advance, which I never do for tattoos, you have no idea how bad it can go, a service should never be paid in advance. He responded to this by saying "Good luck finding a place that'll do it without already paying." Like man, seriously? I'd been to two different tattoo shops that month that ask for a deposit but never full down. So then he told me asked me to leave. Some truly incredible social skills here. Not to mention they had all these pictures around of memes that you should pay more because it's a tattoo. I'm glad it didn't happen because just an incredibly uncomfortable experience all around. Awful.

I was a walk in and he was able to see me right away and worked very hard to make sure my tattoos were lined up perfect with my anatomy, which I appreciate him taking the time to do that so much. The tattoos turned out better than I could have imagined, very clean and bold lines. He also made me feel comfortable and relaxed as I was alone and I honestly forgot I was getting tattooed because he has a very gentle hand and is great at making conversation. Kate Hayman: Made multiple appointments with Andrew for two tattoos that would easily cost over $1200. He did art work for us that we were thrilled about. We waited for months to get on his books, and then when we arrived for our appointment, he told us that he was sick and probably not feeling well enough to do our tattoos so he would have to reschedule. We were disappointed, but that was understandable so we made an appointment for five weeks later. That was the soonest he could get us back on his books after canceling last minute. He confirmed the day before, and then the morning of our rescheduled appointment he canceled again at the last minute, saying he just wasn’t feeling confident and didn’t want to do our tattoos. He said at that point we should find another artist- after we waited for him for over six months! I’m sure other people here are fantastic but I was shocked that somebody treated me so badly when I was nothing but patient. Whatever you do, don’t wait months to get on his books. If you can get in soon, I’m sure it will be great but if you have to wait, you may be wasting a lot of time to never get your tattoo done. Or pick anybody else at this shop.Service:Tattoos

He said call first so I did with no answer and no call back. Then my bf called and was told to come in at 4pm. So we did after waiting 15 min Was told to come back at 5pm we then did that and was finally seen at 530pm out at 730pm. Nice when we got back there and all but not very professional to start off.Update: a week after my bf percing the ball came out and we tried for four days leaving messages with the store and his personal phone as well as texts. meghan miles: My friend and I went here a few months ago trying to get a piercing, it was probably the worst experience I've ever had. Giving people the benefit of the doubt, I'm not sure if bro was just having a bad day but he made me not even want to get the piercing. The piercer at the tattoo shop I'm not sure of his name but he was so rude and had no customer service skills. We needed to pay cash upfront and thank the Lord my friend didn't have cash and we left out to " get the money " yet never returned. Because of his rude service we never even got our piercing and figured we would take our money elsewhere. I would NOT recommend this place if you were looking for a pleasant experience. There are much better places where you can get piercings with great customer service and a personable experience.
