Metropolitan Racquet Club: what do users think?
dorsey vital: Fun space with a gym
J Anderson: Our junior program has been around over forty plus years. Former players return and send their kids to us, because we have a long history of teaching to all groups, individuals, adults, and juniors with patience and professionalism in a safe facility. We are truly, "the hidden gem" in Metro Detroit. We serve clay-court tennis with a passion for the game of life.
Hershel's Daughter: Amazing 👏 🙀
Jeanetta R: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,QualityMy daughter loves it! It has really taught her to be her best. I recommend this to anyone interested in actually learning tennis and having fun!
Michael Belin: One of the two best tennis courts in Southeastern Michigan

Eastside Tennis and Fitness Club: what do users think?
Kells Single: Nice place
Adam Hayward: Affordable and fairly priced. New ownership is making many key updates and improvements to the facilities. Exciting time to be a member.
Tyler Betthauser: For $24/month this place is decent. I think the establishment could be managed better, however. Hours of operation change depending on the front desk person that day and not well communicated via the website or Google. Policies are haphazardly applied.
Callee Newhouse: Morgan the head pro at east side was kind enough to welcome me into the tennis community and fix my backhand after 10 years between matches 😊Entire staff is professional, kind, they go above and beyond to make the clinics fun and have always been inclusive of anyone looking to pick up the spirit and sport of tennis at any skill level!
Conor Garvey: I’ve been going to Eastside for a long time, and I love it here. Staff is great, the facilities are top notch and I love the new soccer field they put in. However, I can’t wrap my head around the mind-boggling decision to close the gym from 12-4 during the summer. I’m sure that this is a time where many other people are able to get in a workout due to work breaks or scheduling, but the gym being closed makes absolutely no sense. Having this time blocked out also cramps up the gym in the time that it IS open because it forces more people into a smaller time frame. At the end of the day, Eastside is a great place and I love it there but I just cannot understand this decision.
Ian Studders: Solid and small-ish local tennis club. Lacks a couple amenities that larger, traditional suburban athletic club might have (pool, sauna, etc). However, from a tennis standpoint Eastside is great. Good leagues, pros and USTA options. Good kids programming. Affordable and fairly priced. New ownership is making many key updates and improvements to the facilities. Exciting time to be a member.
Ted Shumaker: Great tennis courts and friendly staff. Jays drills are excellent as well!
Kristine Gumapac-Dlr: Facilities are updated, restrooms clean, instructors awesome! I take tennis lessons sometimes and I’m never disappointed with Morgan. He’s always pushing me to do better and to get out more!
Kenyetta Borden: Best place to work out...love the staff
Doggie Scoops: We love ETF
Steven Brown: I think Eastside is a decent club and I've played there for a while. However, the facilities could use some work especially with regards to air flow. The club is extremely humid inside and there is no air movement. Staff is friendly and polite.
Nikki Brink: Great golf simulator. Hidden gem.
Jay Shimko: Amazing Facility! A ton of work has been done on the inside in the past year. Very clean and are strict and follow all covid Guidlines. Being a brand new member I was opened by open arms by the new Management. The Pickleball courts are amazing. Did some drop in and the Drill were awesome. The pro shop is on the smaller side but they have everything, and if they do NOT have it, they will get it for you. This place is a Hidden Gem on the Eastside. The Gym is super clean and they use the IQ air to circulate and clean the air in there. I am super excited to try the golf simulator.
Morris Garraway: Indoor tennis courts/facilities that's open with a great weekly schedule that fits my schedule! East side of Detroit near Gross Pointe, Mack & Warren, get that first serve in!
Janet Peplin: Not fancy, but great equipment for working out.
Victoria Alexander: The trainers there are rude and not friendly to new people. It seems to be a club that doesn't really welcome new members. I was there a month and not ONE facility member spoke to me until a trainer was rude to me! They switch their hours around without telling anyone and when I called and asked why wasn't I told about their summer hours(closing in the middle of the day) I was never called back and my membership promptly removed. Terrible customer service and wouldn't recommend this place to anyone! And I'm a certified trainer and have been in gyms for over 20 years!
Dr. Shaun Jayakar: Great club
David Goslin: Don’t care about getting any new members, just maintaining the current ones. They play favorites with their members to make it impossible for someone new to get into the drills on the weekend.
Brandon Still: Always have a great time at Eastside, great staff and facilities!

Court4 Detroit: what do users think?
Christian Morrison: Horrible customer service and complete lack of professionalism when I called inquiring about the club membership options. Actually, the person at the front desk hung up on me. Mentioned they are a private club and felt this would not be a good club for me. Seems very elitist and no way after speaking to the “manager” would I want to entertain being a member. I would look at other clubs if you have the option if their front desk customer service is any indication of their club culture. He said they didn’t have time for people like me.
Jacqueline Canny: The best place to see your tennis ball! Love Court 4, though the are actually five courts.
Maeve Quinn: Male owner made fun of the way a women, young girl and teen looked went to peach tree tennis such a better welcoming environment
Anthony Wilhelm: This is the best place to play in the area with 5 beautiful, brand new courts and top notch lighting. Staff is friendly and helpful
Ted Shumaker: Excellent courts. Great staff and coaching.
Roland Carloni: Nice new courts in a bubble.
Marcia Spivey: Soar Eagle Sports host events here often. I look forward to learning more about independent activities hosted here,
Valencia Mu: Lots of activities happening. Clean facility and covid19 precautions being taken.
T Tucker: Excellent facility and home for Sound Mind Sound Body football program
Terrence Lane: Great place to train. The fat they helped me lose, incredible!!! Must go back!!!
Kevin Brown: Small parking
Robert Rybicki: Act like a kid
Josh Hall: Perfect place for winter baseball training!!!
Shanna Sansom: The Ninja gym here is awsome.
Jill Tascher Cook: What a great place to take the kids when the weather isn't suitable!
Susan Gore: My daughter has winter soccer practice there great facility
Jonathan Moore: I Simply Love That Place
A. Bell: DMC, has an office inside of this building for; Physical Therapy/and/Rehabilitation Institute of Michigan
Nurse Dan: My cousin had a birthday party there for her son. The coaches were really good working with the young kids and teaching them the obstacle course.
William Smith: It is nice and they have it all laid out. The signs are clear point you in the right direction.
Madge Anderson: SMSB "Dream Big Det Youth" is an Awesome Youth Foundation.

Detroit Tennis Club: what do users think?
Josh Welch: Outstanding club with a friendly family atmosphere. Many tournaments for competitive players but also a lot of tennis for everyone. Facility is in tip-top shape.
David Zlo: Nice place for tennis and exercise. Clean facility, friendly stuff and knowledgeable instructors.
Barry Zeitlin: Best value in town, no court fees, great social atmosphere, 14 outdoor clay courts, 4 indoor courts.
Darlene Doute: Excellent courts!!
Amy G.: Courtsbarebin excellent condition and there are plenty of them. My only pseudo issue is that if you are a spectator, ots extremely difficult to watch. There are green wind screens for every court and no where really to sit. You definitely have to bring a chair and hope there is an empty court far enough away from the courts where there is action, so you can plop down and watch. Other than that, this is a great place!
Jason Weiss: I’ve been a member for several years now. I’ve stayed because of the huge benefit of no charge for court time, the amazing clay courts in the summer, and the ability to play through the winter with our indoor facility. With our remodel project almost complete, our members can enjoy a brand new fitness center, update locker rooms, and an upscale feel to the entire place. If you love tennis, please come check us out!
Ron Yolles: Like Cheers, a club where everyone knows your name and lifetime friendships are made! The 13 outdoor clay courts are the city's finest and the 4 indoor courts have far better lighting than other club's indoor courts. The member to court ratio is low!
Gerald Hoffman: I have played tennis for over fifty years, and have been a member at all clubs in the area. DTC is unique, and simply the best tennis club because it is member owned, and offers Clay and hard courts.
bill bellinger: Friendly people and great place to learn or improve your tennis game
barry auster: Outstanding club with a friendly family atmosphere. Many tournaments for competitive players but also a lot of tennis for everyone. Facility is in tip-top shape
Robert Runner (RobertSlobodaUSA): Best tennis club in South Eastern Michigan, without exception.

Birmingham Racquet Club: what do users think?
Taher Savliwala: Coaches cancel on you last min -
Priyanka Ramsai: It's a small place to play
Bruce Born: Great place with great people!
Pat Daly: New to the area and joined Birmingham Raquet Club and it’s been amazing!! Super nice people and my game has come along way in just a few months!
Carlo Chalhoub: One of the best tennis places in Oakland CountyHardly busy so you can enjoy the courts with your friends without stressing on time cause you are delaying someone's gameWinter time it gets restricted to indoorsThe skating arena is always fun specially in the summer
Patrick Daly: Super friendly and welcoming to new members!! Chad has given me 1 on 1 lessons, and has been great to work with!!
Dawn Abney: I hang out in Kenning Park with daughter. It's usually quiet and peaceful, with plenty of shade trees, and plenty of sunny spots as well.
Vickie Swiencicki: Clean...friendly staff...front desk staff is always kind..
Min Qin: Really nice place. A lot of indoor and outdoor space. Excellent staff and coaches. Easy parking.
Sharon Sherwood: Wonderful. Always a pleasure ☮️
Luis Sergio Martinez: Good courts and a nice tennis retrieve on Winter.
Paige Bradley: My husband signed me up for some classes at BRC to help me get back into playing after a 10ish year hiatus.I was nervous/anxious -- but everyone was very friendly and incredibly positive which made it so much easier to get back into it.The facility isn't anything fancy - but it's clean and very well maintained.I'd highly recommend a visit!
Doug Livezey: nice park near the club and public tennis courts
Jack D: Didn’t actually go here but hear it is nice.
Aubrey Schram: This place has been great for my daughter who is just learning to playing tennis. Coach Sarah is extrememly nice and patient. For summer lessons they offer a very flexible schedule, you can sign up for just a single day at a time if you wish. Prices very reasonable, desk staff has been helpful too. My daughter is off to a good start in learning the sport!
Vikram Mandelia: Did clinics and USTA team in middle school almost 15 years ago – pros were absolutely amazing and first class! Recently moved back to the area and started attending adult classes back in April. And have been doing both adult cardio and organized practice on a regular basis. Not the same at all. Pros have very poor attitudes, a few weeks ago conveyed to one to only feed to us when we are ready during drills – don’t want to get injured, and low and behold rolled my ankle today. Other customers in the class were more concerned for my well being – one of the pros told me I could buy ice at a store. Tried to keep playing and same pro was egging me on to run to drop shots at the net (?!). I guess if you’re fan of Tennys Sandgren – this is the place for you since most of the pros here are like him. Highly recommend looking elsewhere.
Amy G.: Small, but nice and well kept. Nice little area for watching Tennis on some of the courts, but not all. Staff is friendly.
Mailplaystore 0073: My club
Rahim Basal: I like going there and the people there are very nice and experienced
Fred Lusky: Kids love the classes
Manuela Manea-Masternak: Very clean

Beverly Hills Club | Health & Fitness Club: what do users think?
Katelyn Shier: Quanita Neely is the best massage therapist around! She found all the deep knots in my back and worked them out. I left feeling like a new person. Will definitely be back!
Jermahl Gray: Great Gym! BHC is rarely packed, clean and has new equipment. They offer everything you need to take a shower after your workout, swim, tennis match, etc. All u need is a change of clothes. The only thing that stops it from getting 5 stars is that it closes at 9pm on the weekdays.
Shannon Brenda: I loved every second of my experience. The energy was amazing everyone was grinding and smiling!
Betty Allen: Great customer service.
Cosmo: Great facility, especially for families! Great variety of classes for members of any age, child care for when you’re working out, and the pool for when they’ve just got a bit more energy to get out.
Cal Boyle: The staff reacts you like garbage
Fanar Jwaida: Contacted manager that I moved still charged my credit card for months. Asked them for a refund since have not been there in months they will not refund my money. Be aware of what you are signing. Breaking a contact is impossible. No conscious for other peoples money. Once you sign with this club expect to be with them the rest of your life, they will let you go but with a big fee. Look for other clubs with better client service and contract.
Christian Reuber: Such a welcoming community! The staff are positive and warm! Just a wonderful place to be!
Zach Finley: The staff is absolutely amazing and always make sure to treat you like family. Any and all questions are always answered with a pleasure and a smile. It is always a great time coming to the club
Karen Kadoura: Not user friendly. Trying to sign up for the Better Bones class & getting nowhere. Bummed
Gina: Visiting from Florida, was a member years ago. Great facility and classes.
James Crisp II: Great place to go, they have a nice summer camp program and could play area. The amenities are nice. The machines are adequately placed and it's never too crowded. There's also enough bench presses and free weights for multiple workouts. It is family friendly and the hours of availability allows for a flexible schedule.
tr1ckster726: It's great! Very affordable and right down the street.
Amira Kalbfleisch: I love this club. I joined after I had my third child to get back into shape. I started taking him when he was an infant and he is now almost 4. He loves to go - which makes working out so much easier for me - less guilt because I know he is having fun. The ladies who work in the child care are so wonderful. The club has everything I need - classes, a pool, clean showers, towels. It's a home away from home. I loved going there so much that I started to teach fitness classes at the BHC. I've made a lot of friends at this gym and I will be a member for many years to come.
Lena Grant: I love that it is quiet when I come, the girls love coming to camp here
Ana Paula Martin: My happy place! Great community! Facilities and Classes!! And…. the BEST daycare! Me and my kids go everyday, because we simply adore!
Macmad: Used to go here back in 1983, when it was Beverly Hills Squash & Racket Ball Club 😳,Nice to see the place still open and thriving under the current climate, be safe.... The Englishman.
Diksha: My husband I joined BHC in June 2021. The tour was very short so I didn’t get to see the equipment. Later when I started using the gym I realized the equipment is super old and dated. Treadmills would shake and make loud noise if you run on them, stair masters were bought 30 years ago and the overall machines were rusted and old. I raised my concerns to the manager and told her that I’m not happy with this gym, nothing was done about it.When I told the manager we want to withdraw our membership, the gym charged us almost $600 to quit the gym.I would not recommend anyone joining this gym. It’s a scam!
Ashley Hubbard Porter: We are new members & are already SO happy to be a part of the BHC community. The club is clean, the equipment is great and the staff is friendly and extremely helpful (shoutout to Sandra!). The locker rooms are large and well stocked with all of the amenities you need and we love their app which gives access to the list of available classes & programming. They also do an amazing job making the club family friendly by offering discounts for children programing (swim classes, karate, tennis, etc.) and free access to childcare while on site (which my son LOVES)! Overall the fitness club has an equal balance of young professionals, families, and seniors which makes it super welcoming and accommodating to all levels of fitness experience.
Mary Salazar: Positive:Quality
Patrick Foley: Fantastic club. The staff and the members all care about their facility, and take a good care of it. Locker rooms have towel service, and all of the amenities. Steam room, jacuzzi, pool, tennis courts, a full fitness area, and a smoothie bar.

Parkside Tennis Club: what do users think?
PEG400 Grenier: Lady at the front desk was great and the lady I went with had no mercy on me
Jordan Qu: We signed a 10-session group lesson. The first session was so good. Unfortunately the coach during the first session was on vacation afterwards, and new coach during the second and third lessons was not compatible for my kid. So we decided to dis-continue. The manager Jennifer was very honest, understanding and considerate and she refunded us 100% pre-paid unfinished 7 session fee. We will go back someday.
Desmond Belcastro: The staff is very friendly and the courts inside and outside are in great shape. The only unfortunate thing is they do not offer any memberships.
Kyle Lu: Never disappointed
Lisa Zajner: Always fun to be there!
Adeel Kazmi: Great courts.
Alexandra Aczel: Shout out to Fady! It's not just about the tennis for our daughter, it's the bond and commitment given by her coach!
YU Charlie: good
John OKane: Love this spot, always have. Like tennis family
Felipe S.: Great clay courts! Attentive staff
Vedant Kalidindi: Great place to learn play or do anything! Best coaches and players I’ve ever played with recommend playing here.
Caroline M.: I grew up playing tennis at Parkside Tennis Club and I can say that it's a great place to learn. As I grew and improved, they had programs that followed my growth and I constantly felt challenged. Besides the programs, I also took private lessons which were 100% tailored to my needs (whether I had a tournament, club match or otherwise). When it came time to go to university, I was able to secure a scholarship in the US because of tennis.I wholeheartedly and happily recommend Parkside Tennis Club.
Nadia: Welcoming staff and environment! Couldn’t have asked for a more positive coaching experience for my girls who have now fallen in love with the game.
Jhoan Sebastian Lopez Romero: I've loved this club since I played through high school years and developed my game with great staff, affordable and great courts!
Dr. Mario Micovsky: From management to just great service, you can't say enough about the team at parkside and how they not only impact youth, but our community as a whole. Keep up the great work!
taya komlenac: Parkside Tennis Club is a very welcoming and family oriented place, that offers a variety of programs with amazing coaches. Would definitely recommend coming here whether it's to just hit with some friends or lessons with a coach.
Otto Keres: This place was my second home the first 18 years of my life! Not only did they make my game good enough to earn a scholarship stateside they gave me great memories I’ll cherish forever. There’s always something special brewing in Windsor tennis. Keep it up and keep it competitive!
Andrew Culmone: Amazing place to be. Great desk staff and coaches. Highly reccommend visiting Parkside!
Adrian Mag: I've been coming here regularly since I was just a kid. This place and its people built me into a Top Canadian and Division 1 player and the person I am today. Whether you're looking to get the highest level instruction from top canadian and international pros, or just looking to get a workout in with some friendly instruction, this is the place for to do it. Honesty is policy at this place, if it hits the line, it's in! ;)
raghav talwar: If you're a tennis enthusiast, this is a place for you to be, from renting courts to getting coaches for private lessons, you get it all here, the ambience is very positive and the staff is super sweet. From a 6 year old to a 60 year old, everyone has a good time here, I would highly recommend this place, make sure you visit :)
Lukas Waller: Fun! Good coaches too

Jeffrey Tandoc: Great place. Great people. Played here as a teenager
Clark Kent: Another busy day at the Racquet Club.
M Koski: I have been a member here for many years. Love it!Court surfaces were redone about 2 years ago and are great!
Kelleigh Rey: Very nice facility, and immaculate courts to play on. Have only come across a few public courts tucked away that even come close to these. The most important thing to me however is the atmosphere. Staff is extremely friendly, very comfortable setting and there isn't a hint of the stereotypical elitist rep that tennis is given sometimes.Thank you to Cindy for answering all my emails getting me to sign up for a membership. Shout out to Axl for the training session on my birthday that was the catalyst for me joining.
Amy G.: Beautiful courts that are well lit at night. Good tennis pros and friendly staff. Love playing here.
Dave Rich: Great courts. Great facility. Lots of players at all levels.
Michael purplerose: It's a pretty nice place there. Nice courts and staff for the most part. Perfect if you're learning from them or just want to have a place to play, however there are free courts in the area if you have your own balls. Pretty cool, however I disapprove of how I was treated by like one staff member.
James Hunter: I'm loving getting back into tennis after many years. Already my game is improving quite a bit after only 3 sessions. Great instruction by Curt Smith. And it's so cool to be playing tennis when it's below freezing outside.
