They also hold group runs and separate running events which allow you to meet other runners and get in your long run with others. Additionally, there's a loyalty program which lets you earn points towards a $25 off reward. I highly recommend coming here if you're trying to get into running or if you want to check out new gear, clothes, or nutrition.

He had been shopping around for a shoe for work that would offer more support due to some foot problems, and had tried a pair of Brooks shoes he liked at a big box store the day before but wanted to sleep on it and shop around a bit more. As soon as we entered Hanson’s a salesperson (I believe Zac?) asked if he could help and quickly got to work getting several pairs of shoes together for my husband to try. He was very patient and extremely knowledgeable about the different types of shoe, easily answering all my husband’s questions. It’s rare to find great customer service like that anymore (at one of the chain stores we tried the previous day the employees didn’t even acknowledge us). And honestly pricewise the shoes we ended up purchasing there were selling for the same price as the big box store. We will likely be back as we live nearby and they had several pairs in stock of the Hoka OneOnes I’ve been eyeing. The cool reusable bags were also a plus!

lyutsin21: I bought a pair of (men's) Altra Torin 6 running shoes from Gazelle Sports today. I was looking for a pair of running shoes to replace a pair of Altra Escalante shoes that I have been using every 3 to 4 days on average for at least 3 years. When I was trying to decide between the Torin 6 and another Altra model and after telling the sales lady that the outer edges of my feet tend to hit the ground first (technically called supinating; the outer edges of my old shoes are more worn down than the inside edges), she was smart enough to tell me that the Torin 6 would inhibit me from supinating but the other model would not. I want to thank the staff for carrying Altra brand running shoes. They are zero drop, completely flat, unlike most running shoes. I have been persuaded that if you are jogging with your forefoot hitting the ground first, like I am trying to do, a totally flat shoe helps.

This time I stood looking at shoes while staff just walk past completely not acknowledging that I am standing there. I waited for about 10 minutes trying to look more runner like and decided to just walk out. I recommend you try shoes on here if you are lucky enough to get a staff member to help you then buy your shoes at Zappos…at least online you don’t mind being completely ignored and delivery is fast and the shoes are cheaper! Stay away they don’t need any more customers

TCP: I had a wonderful experience at this store. I bought 2 pairs of joggers last week that I liked but not loved in charcoal and black. My next stop was Lululemon where I found a black pair I liked better. The charcoal ones were Vuori and I loved the quality but I’m 5’9” and when I looked them up on line the Vuori website had them in tall so I ordered those. Gazelle could not have been nicer about me returning these pants and appreciated that I shared I found them in tall because my request was not the first these come in a longer length.This is a very cool store with everything hip and now that’s not Lululemon and I will be back.

Through throughout the process from inspecting our old shoes, to measurement, to assessing gait both walking and on the treadmill (including recording the treadmill sessions to compare). I've never been more impressed in a running-focused store. We are committed to Gazelle sports and thank you Margaret!Occasionally I use brick and mortars to physically inspect goods and then bounce online for price comparisons and potential purchase. If there is a premium on price, if you received a fraction of the service I did, I hope you'll consider buying gear at Gazelle Sports.

AJ Kaiserauer: I'm so glad I found this place. I've been struggling with sciatic nerve pain for months and my physical therapist recommended to go here to make sure I had the right shoes for my feet and for how I walk. I met Annabelle at the store and she was absolutely incredible. She used a device to scan my feet and then went over all the metrics explaining all the things I wanted to look for in a shoe and how important the right custom insole was as well. She was very patient and happy to answer all my questions about everything.I went with the Hoka Bondi 8 which I had actually tried previously a few months back but didn't like due to the foot pain it caused me. Sure enough Annabelle had me try it with custom insoles instead. They made the shoes fit and work perfectly. Extremely comfortable and supportive. I'm able to walk my dogs and start getting back into my regular routine now. I can't thank them enough for the knowledge and expertise they shared with me.

After talking about our needs, Haley watched my wife walk around the store to view her gait and verified her impact movement. She then shared with us about a necessary show insert that would help support and cushion her arch correctly. She brought out several shoes for my wife to try on until we found the model that helped my wife with the stability and cushion that she needed.Haley listened to our needs, helped educate us on the benefits that we needed and was very knowledgeable and encouraging throughout our entire time at the store. She has been with the company for several years and we look forward to working with her again because of her helpful service today.

Have always bought all of my trail running and long distance running shoes from here!They have some good accessories (like knee support, ankle support, gloves, run wear, running socks etc) that can help with your runs too. I managed to find a suitable alternative, which is the only reason this gets two stars. The employee on the floor as well as the employee behind the register were both rude, dismissive, and a little condescending. They were also arguing with each other. The whole experience was awkward and mildly offensive.

Ethan Best: A few weeks ago, I took a drive to check out this place that was highly recommended to me by my Orangetheory coach. I walked around checking it out while the employees were busy with other customers. I noticed they had a small selection of shoes than a regular shoe store so I was concerned they wouldn't have my size (I have small feet). I watched how they gave each customer their undivided attention and didn't pressure them or cause them to feel rushed into a decision. When it was my turn, I received the same attention. My feet, both not just one, were measured, I was asked to walk so they could see how my feet, knees, legs, back were aligned when I walked and they they brought out 3 pairs of shoes. I tried on each one and was amazed how wonderful each one felt on my feet. I walked, I stood and moved on all 4 sides of my feet, I walked on the treadmill, I ran on it, I walked some more and focused on how my body, legs and feet felt. I took my time and was encouraged to do so. I was narrowing my decision but had questions as I just started running and I didn't want a shoe to fail and teach my feet/body to wrong way causing injuries now or for the future. I talked, shared, asked questions and it was explained to me how they have the shoes they sell in the store, how they are made and how they are different than just buying shoes from any store. I was amazed by what I was learning and listening to the passion as the information was being shared with me. I made a confident decision and was encouraged to take the full 30 days with their shoes and if they were not for me, bring them back until we find the right pair for me. So far, these shoes have been GREAT! I will return to purchase more running shoes from here!

Karol Montgomery: I was sent to Gazelle Sports for specific shoes for my orthotics. I was met by the manager. I was a little worried that these new shoes, being a new brand, would be difficult to handle with all my extra inserts for each shoe. After breaking them in they work extremely well. The prices based on the type of shoe are about the same which was a welcome surprise. I highly recommend them for shoes & other sports needs.
