D 19: Back in the day, ASW used to be located in southwest Detroit, different management/ owner. It was amazing! They had so many cool antique architectural supplies for your home. Now it is not the same at all. New location east side, completely unorganized, very little to choose from and ridiculously expensive. They were charging 3 dollars per foot of some beat up old 6×1 boards, the kind you see thrown in the trash all day. They explained the chaos by saying they were non profit. Well it used to be non profit at the old location/management too...what happened?

Ron W.: I just found this place a couple months ago and as a trim carpenter, they have been a blessing for my business. Jeff, Ryan and Chelcie are super cool and helpful. If you work in Historic Homes and need to matchup existing moldings, these guys can do it and the pricing is decent!! The only thing is because they are good at what they do, they are often really booked for orders . My advice is to get your orders in asap. Glad I found them. You will be too.

Dan Buckley: Not much competition in Detroit for hardwood lumber. The only other competitor charges per linear foot which can add up tremendously. These guys have a huge stock of rough sawed hardwood, and they charge by the board foot/surface foot. Super easy to work with. You can tell they work wholesale primarily, but us little hobbyists are welcome, too. Won't be going anywhere else for wood anymore.

Takes a little time to be built, so can’t expect to have too quickly. The result is perfection. Very pleased. And delivery was so nice as the creators deliver and take such care placing and situating in your home with an aesthetic focus.

We can seat 12 people! It’s incredibly beautiful, and to say it’s built to last is an understatement. It will last forever. The table is both a conversation piece and practical important part of our home. We’re proud to have it.

Placed a disputed charge with the CC company. Also called the "Fisher Building" where their website says they are located. Informed that they moved out over a year ago. Also, you have to give at least one star to post....I would give a negative if possible. Buyer beware!!! Look up the building and call for yourself!!!!

Richard Atkinson: Archie is the man. They have over 3,000 types of jigs to make all kinds of molding that you could possibly need when renovating a house and trying to match the original. I have a 100-year-old house and looked everywhere to find some exterior trim molding to replace I wish I would have known about Archie beforehand I wouldn't have wasted so much time.

Alli Capper: I’ve found so many incredible, unique items from WT. Not only do they have one-of-a-kind local vintage pieces, they also do amazing large and small-scale reimagined salvage work. I’ve gotten everything from vintage 1950s golf prints, to reclaimed original Pewabic tiles, to old-world framed paintings. My son loves to look through their store and the staff is incredibly patient with his busy-ness and curiosity, always handing out stickers and asking if we need help! I’d highly recommend following them on Instagram (same name) to stay up-to-date on all their happenings and see an intimate look into their salvage, building, and creative process. If you’re a homeowner, or even just renting, I can’t recommend checking out this place enough. Hoping I can commission this team in the future to do an island for our kitchen!
