ashley ataxia: I was very excited to come here. My first appointment took over two hours of waiting and I saw the doctor for maybe 5 minutes. I then got X-rays and returned the next week to wait over an hour and not see the doctor. My third time in the office, I waited another hour and never saw anyone so I just gave up

J. Danger: What's advertised seems very different from what's provided. I initially wanted to come here for functional medicine. But was told its $300 for 30 minutes,  that price is about right, but that small amount of time is not standard. The first functional medicine appointment anywhere else is about an hour and half to two hours, as it's gathering the patient's entire health history so as to know where to begin getting to the root of their issues.Since she's not an MD, and seems to offer an entire laundry list of services, I said I'd like to make an appointment with her to discuss multiple things, then go from there as far as which type of service or care to begin, as I have physical things I'd like to work on, as well as hormonal imbalances. I made it clear I did NOT want manual chiropractic adjustments.Instead, I spent an hour there waiting. After an hour, the Dr was still seeing other patients (as in going into their rooms to *begin* service well after my appt time), and they suddenly decided they wanted medical clearance from another doctor (that I don't even have, because the health event happened years ago and i had no lingering effects worthy of continuing care) despite my not. wanting. chiropractic. adjustment. and so I was dismissed without seeing the doctor at all. Dr. Kahin was running so far behind she didn't even come introduce herself to me, or sit down and discuss any options of things she could offer. They claim to have all sorts of services, but it seems Dr Kahin does nothing but chiropractic, and none of their NPs do anything close to functional medicine.Edited to add: In defense of other patients who've commented about the front desk incorrectly or lack of mask-wearing, and had a provider gaslight them in response-- the front desk women weren't wearing masks when I came in.  They slowly put them on while talking to me. Then took them back off as I was sitting in the little waiting area right off to the side of them. Then I sat and listened to them calling patients who had come in the day before for covid testing to give them results, about half being positive.

A.M. Langbeen: I don't normally ever post reviews. But I am so shocked and saddened and offended after my recent visit. My husband has been a patient for a while with decent results, so I ignored the reviews complaining of scheduling issues. I just sat for an hour and a half waiting for Dr. K, only to have her look me in the eyes and walk out. Leaving her staff to have to explain to me that she was busy. I was so looking forward to this appointment. I was looking for hope. Dealing with severe autoimmune conditions and getting no help from conventional medicine. My husband had to take the day off work to help with our medically fragile children - also autoimmune. Only to sit and wait and leaving without anything. Just another last minute schedule change. As a small business owner myself I can't even fathom how someone can morally or professionally run a business like this. So hurt and shocked.

Silvia Martin: No snap-crackle-pop adjustments here. I can't have anyone cracking of my neck due to an injury. This chiropractor is the ONLY one that uses an electronic device that announces which vertebrae needs adjusting & does it - gently but effectively. So nice.

Lindsay Merbaum: The reception staff do not wear masks properly or consistently--and neither do many other professionals sharing their building. I commented on this upon arrival, as one receptionist had her face entirely uncovered, and while she did respond accordingly, during the 30+ minutes I sat waiting for my appointment, I saw the other receptionist chatting with a woman working elsewhere in the building, both of their faces uncovered. When I finally walked out, that same receptionist was on the phone, mask on her chin. I was appalled and frightened. Healthcare professionals should uphold minimum safety standards to protect their patients.

Leslie phillips: Extremely disappointing holistic nutritionist appointment. Less help than what a regular doctor would offer. Absolutely nothing holistic about it. Just searching on Google offers far better nutritional advice. Staff was very nice.

Samantha Lane: Over a year ago I would of gave Dr. K 5 Stars but unfortunately I can't today. When I was first referred to her over a year ago she was just opening her practice on center rd. At first when she only had a handful of us patients shes was very thorough, she seemed to actually care an took her time to exam and explain your issues over the first month I loved Dr. K I had my MIL(Mother in law) and Fiance going to her because I was just so impressed by her and how she acted like she cared. My first issues was when she fired her one employee mine and my fiance insurance was getting charged wrong like on days she had called an rescheduled we had been charged to figure out in the long run she was like processing all her appointments at the same time instead of everyday thats how the "miscommunication" with my insurance being charged on a day she had left the office and rescheduled us then after that she fired her second girl(who pretty much ran the show from day 1) Dr. K was starting to get more patients she was constantly "out of the office" "had a meeting" or some other excuse to reschedule you and when you come in you wait forever it seems you see how short and rude she is with her own employees months later you wait longer in her waiting room then you do with her in the beginning she took her time with you on the table at the end in like a minute it seems like ur done and off her table like ur just another number. Her own massage therapist seen it. I will no longer recommend or seek treat with Dr. K if I could give this negative stars I would. I am now seeing a new chiropractor & massage therapist. Her treatments didn't help matter of fact when cvd-19 hit and I have a compromises immune system I couldn't go in office and my neck pain had grown worse then before I started treatment.

Rose Boedecker: Highly recommend, I went to a few are there chiropractors before I found this doctor. The doctors before hand never gave me an x-ray before hand and I believe it made a huge difference. Not only could she see where my back needed the therapy instead of just cracking or straightening me out. She fully broke down how important your spin pays a roll on all health ways. Certain problems I was experiencing that weren't even in my spine was connected to the enlightenment of my back, was because of my back. She is very calm and informing of every step they take to get you feeling like new.

Michael L. Steimle: Played games with my ongoing medical problems. Screwed with my medications, was indifferent to my needs. Played a referral run-around. When I'd go to the specialist appointment there were hour+ long waits, dirty reused equipment....nasty! (see picture of the plastic probe covers being washed and reused)(at least they were washed). And even then my complaints were never adequately addressed.Urban Health And Wellness is, in my opinion, a public funding money grubbing poor excuse for a medical clinic. The administration to whom I've spoke are full of hyperbolic symantics ("talking manure") and lip service.My last appointment I left, after an hours wait, unseen. The exam room was dirty with the former patients snot rags strewn across the floor. The paper on the exam table was obviously used.This place...and more importantly the staff are pitiful! Sorriest excuse for a health facility I've seen. The inexcusable thing is they toyed with my health...without regard to my wellbeing....for far too long...stringing me along. And odds are you'll get a similar experience....and don't even get me started on lack of confidentiality...HORRIBLE HEALTH CARE! -10

It was amazing how relaxing and energy balanced it made me feel just from a facial. The results were great as well. I saw immediate results in my fine lines and the bags under my eyes. Deeper lines were also smoothed. My skin looked great with reduction in pore size and it was super soft. This is a treatment everyone should try. ❤️

I got acupuncture done for pain I’ve been experiencing in my back which has caused my arms to go numb when I sleep, drive, draw, or even when doing cardio if my arms aren’t moving. I’ve been dealing with depression due to not sleeping from my pain the past month+ now. It’s affected my job, working out, relationships etc. The acupuncture was amazing. I can’t really explain the feeling, it was like waves of euphoria, and happiness throughout my body.
