Recovery Unlimited Treatment: what do users think?
Doug Luna: I think they are good understanding. They get you in and out. And the hours work out because it’s hard to have a job and have to miss work for appointments.
Melissa Cuevas: Dr. Robinson and staff have always treated me with respect and support, would highly recommend if you're serious about you're sobriety.
Joshua Jonathan Hood: Don’t take Medicaid anymoreonly open 3 hours per day mon-fri 530-830amCan’t even find where to make appointment on their website I called at 2pm and got an answer machine that says leave a message
Joseph Hunt: quick and painless.accommodating for telehealthwill find a way or explain the situation
Christina Debono: Good people that work here. Dr. Robinson really does care. RU has helped me tremendously!
Mona Monet: This place is the most terrible clinic I've ever been to and I've been a guest doser around the world. All they care about is money. They charge $140 a week to guest dose. I've seen them lock doors in patients faces. They kick their nurse out at exactly 8:15am daily and let other staff give the left over patients medication. They're only open 2 hours a day. There are way better places to go for treatment because this is not treatment. The doctor is not allowed to accept medicaid because he ripped them off so they make you pay outrageous amounts of cash only to be on MAT. They erase reviews they don't like but I'll keep posting them. They treat the patients horrible, it's so sad to sit here and watch.
Josh Koplen: This place has saved my life, I couldn't be happier ! Thank you ! ☺️
Anthony Barry: I'm DISGUSTED at what I've read here about how patients who have different beliefs can look forward to being treated, and demeaned. Looking for a place to begin a treatment regimen and get my life back, I considered this place, but upon reading the reviews, I am disheartened to find that a doctor would consider separating a patient from such important treatment because her religious beliefs differed from his... How Disgusting..! I'm an atheist, believing 8n no god's nor devils, and now must look elsewhere for help so I don't get set up to fall by a doctor who places himself so righteously above those who 5hink differently than he. That poor girl... Ugh!!!
Judy Couch: Thank you for helping me..
Ashley Green: I think the young girl is amazing at the front. I pay for my methadone and she’ll usually let me slide if I miss a payment. Brian on the other hand detoxed me charging me for testing a urine 3 times the same urine!!! And charged me for each! Then detoxed me down 20 mg because the drug tests are $15/pc. I love the older lady that’s there for urine drops who is there Tuesday and Thursday. She’s always understanding but will also detox you if you balance is $60 which is ridiculous!!! But let me slide!! Kim is so nice and doesn’t judge!!! I tell her everything!!
Leesa Thompson (LadyLeesa): I was a client for a few months on the methadone and the staff there are great people and they are always willing to take the time to listen first and then be as helpful as they can be. I lost my income and couldn't pay for the treatment and so i had to leave. But the addict i am instead of trying to figure out how to continue going i stopped going. BAD CHOICE...Im now on suboxone and I was doing very well, but the doctor treating me has informed me to find another source of treatment because he believes there will be conflict between us due to my lifestyle and his religious beliefs. I couldnt believe that he was saying that to me when he took an oath to not discriminate when helping someone. So now im wondering if i should even try to come back either with the money i owe in hand or some and willing to work out a payment plan, as i understand it the subs are covered thru health ins.Any suggestions
Megan Hill: Dr. Robinson and his staff are great! They offer convenient treatment options and work with their clients to meet their needs. Highly recommend!
Cornel Lynch: They have flexible scedules and dont require a waiting list for suboxone
the oxens: The staff is great had one lil sis understanding I did the rite thing by telling the Dr sorry and tried to too the most kindness person but she was rite and I was wrong . Have the best staff AND THEY DO CARE FOR YOU AS A PERSON! Sorry I was wrong and she was rite.
Casey Lee: Helps alot going there

Flint Odyssey House: what do users think?
Victoria: I wasted many years going in and out of this program trying to convince myself that the mental, emotional and verbal abuse that they did towards people was constructive, tough love and useful. There is so many things wrong with this program, not to mention the rats and mice running around the building. Total infestation. Also the animals running around in the walls. I am not sure how they manage to pass inspections. They are money hungry, the staff takes donations given for themselves, and it comes off as a race war in it. This place needs to be investigated. I would not recommend this program to anybody except for families/people that are dealing with the courts. My warning to those people is to be ready for the emotional, mental and verbal abuse that is given.
Joseph Josling: Flint Odyssey House saves lives
Jennifer Harris: While my husband was currently in between an inpatient rehab and a psychiatric center I made a phone call to solely get information regarding this Recovery House/ sober living. I am not familiar with how these places work, what or who they allow into their program. I couldn't even tell you if this is a program, a housing center or a timed rehab of some kind. I explained to the lady who answered my call what my husband was going through, his potential needs and most importantly that i was calling to try to help him help himself considering hes currently fresh into a psychiatric center at the moment and not in the best state of mind to call them himself. She would not give me any type of info, she wouldn't even explain how to me how the "housing" works. Instead told me several times to have him call them because shw could only speak to him. I wasnt asking for top secret details nor did i need any personal information of any kind. The phone call was ended by me asking her if she liked her job and i told her she should be ashamed of herself. Theres no reason she couldn't explain to me what exactly the flint odyssey house is and what they do for people there. Shes answering phones and is therefore the voice of this place. With that being said she deserves zero stars and a new job that doesn't consist of helping people in any way shape or form. I hope going forward she can find enough goodness in herself to actually be of help to people.
Anthony Barry: UNBELIEVABLE..!!! Never before have I experienced such a ghetto program, for anything. I was very hesitant to go there to detox since I'd heard so many bad things, but it was all I could get into quickly. What a mistake! The staff are incredibly rude. They tell you to wear a mask, while they wear none, though it's they who are most likely to bring Covid in each day. Everything there is broken: the toilet handle, the window crank (can't shut the bathroom window) making it FREEZING in there, both shower control handles. There are TV's in each room, so inconsiderate residents blare the sound all hours day and night, while their roomates are feeling miserable and wanting to rest. Then, to top it off, the "nurse", gave me Subutex, or similar med before it should have been given, throwing me straight into precipitated withdraw, and as I laid thinking I was gonna die, yelling for help...they ignored me for about 8 hours. And if it can make it any worse of an experience, it became clear when I realized not many people were feeling very sick...that this place is FAR more of a homeless shelter than a detox. And the staff know this, so they talk bad to you, believing you probably have nowhere else to go. Absolutely a TERRIBLE experience.
Katy Slaughter: I had to pick a family member up after48 hours. They were left to detox alone in a room. No nurse checked vitals, or passed out meds. She found a ful needle with stuff inside it from a pervious client. They have some weird rules about asking your peers for forgiveness after you "sin" pregnant women fed a sandwich and cottage cheese for the whole day. Can't make.phone calls to family, sounds like a whole circus ran by clowns.
Nick Lyons: Was here for 4 months after several treatment centers and it changed my life. Amazing history, amazing staff. Much different than the other treatment facilities I've been admitted too. Don't expect people to bend over backwards 24/7 for you here, bend over backwards for yourself first. It works if you work it. Much love.
Jesse Judkins: I would like to say I had a good experience here. However I can't. It is a very tyrannical system that focuses on everything you do wrong, very little about anything done right. Residents are expected to encounter each other about what they do wrong on a weekly basis and there is little real clinical staff. Recovery coaches and level 3 and 4 residents are in top level leadership roles for which they are not qualified. They allow level 2 residents to facilitate groups, not being qualified at all with only 8 to 10 weeks clean. And the building is falling apart.
Sarah Hendricks: I've seen reviews on here that disparage Flint Odyssey House as "ran by crackheads" and I think that assessment is quite unfair. There is a diverse variety of staff, from recovery coaches, to clinical counselors and therapists all the way up to directors who have vastly different backgrounds and in my experience, I have found staff competent and caring. Many do have personal recovery experience and implement this knowledge to guide clients and supply empathy to assist individuals with Substance Abuse and Mental Health disorders. I have witnessed individuals go from the "very bottom" to being reunited with families, obtaining college degrees all the way up to Doctorate's and becoming an absolute asset to our community. The residential program is not for the faint of heart. Is it a challenging method of treatment, but when utilized, can bring about tremendous transformation in the individual, the family and the community. Flint Odyssey House has been one of thefactors that have saved my life and gave me a life worth living and I am deeply grateful that the selfless, effective and loving family of Odyssey House exist.
Kenda Olmstead: As long as you put in the work for your recovery, they will give you the tools. Recommend Flint Odyssey House to anyone who is ready to change their life.
Rachel Curran: The only rehab that saved my life
Paula Bridges: Never had a problem with this place. Professional help & they stick with you. My Maggie needs sober living, she wants to go back there.
Joseph: "be aware" " can I get a break up" "I need to convey"
Rosanna Eberhardt: Flint Odyssey House is an amazing program. I was about to lose all rights to my children (2015-16 maybe). I immediately checked myself in to Odyssey House. I stayed 9-10 months. I had my kids back with me permanently within 3 months. I recommend this program to women/men in the same situation I was in all the time! It’s a tough program but if you’re serious this is the place to be to get yourself and your family together. I now have my kids with me ( no CPS involvement), I work full time filing claims for ARW Home Appliance Insurance, and will be graduating in 2022 with a bachelors degree in Health Service Management. The tools I was given from Flint Odyssey House I still use daily. IF YOU ARE WILLING TO DO THE WORK, FLINT ODYSSEY HOUSE WILL GIVE YOU THE RESOURCES AND BACK YOU UP IN COURT. YOUR KIDS WILL THANK YOU!
Tiffany K.: Great therapists at the outpatient facility who helped give me the tools to deal with life on life's terms.
James Harper: You will experience what you put in just like anything in life. This program is a disciplinary behavior modification supported by the therapeutic community(residents and staff).it operates on a level up system to give more responsibility and privileges to them as they earn it. Helps simulate stress and pressure to learn to cope with stress. This pressure also brings out a lot of character flaws that need change for growth. This program is like no other you don't just learn recovery material your expected to put it to use through actions. The true care from the staff is present and offer help to family and parents with children which is a big challenge for some seeking help. There is many pathways to recovery, this tough more blunt approach was what i needed and what worked for me. It has changed my life and many people i know.
Jason Cripe: This is the worst place I've ever been! They publicly humiliate their residents, they expect you to find other residents doing something wrong at least 3 times a day, you can't even look at a member of opposite sex, let alone talk to one. You can't even go to the bathroom without having 3 other residents go with you. There are children running around with a bunch of addict's and alcoholic's. This place was not for me. On the other hand, you can live there for months or even years.
Andrea C: Someone very dear to me got placed in here and they haven't been able to leave the buliding AT ALL for 7 months...Prisoners have more freedom than here and it is a cult. They seldom get phone calls and EVERYTHING has to be approved through their therapist. I feel terrible for anyone who genuinely wants to get clean because this kind of environment is not the place to go for that. Wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy
Debra Persson: This program truly saved my family's life. My husband and I entered Odyssey with our 5 young children June 2019. Through behavior modification and personal accountability, we have turned our life around. I highly recommend this program to people who are willing to put in the hard work and achieve long-term sobriety.
tracy baldwin: Saved my kids and my life, they work on behavior modification so you can learn to be a productive member of society and integrated back in the work force and start being a positive role model for your kids and others. Best decision of my life.
David Parker (Subbie): Horrible experience, residents were cool about it. I got tossed out for a good reason. Can only blame myself for that. Was going to try to escape later that day anyway. Already tried once but got talked into staying. They really need more productive staff who care. Very disorganized. Lot of "unwritten rules". Tried to get involved in as many groups as I could but been bags tossed into holes wasn't why I went. If you have PTSD and learned to internalize anxiety, disappointment and anger good luck.Code violations, Federal HIPPA violations & State LARA Violations. Witnessed and was not given prescribed medications. Instead they made me a zombie since I can't take Ativan. I had to go to residential to get actual paper prescription filled. Detox wouldn't do it and would not produce the actual prescrption for the Valium they made me take.Okay done ranting. Looking at New Paths.
Ry Guy: Odyssey house should be shut down, and probably will be if investigated by code enforcement, health department or DEA. Unprofessional and unorganized, no true medical or psychological clinicians present to aid people that truly want help. They cater to addicts that repeatedly come back for free lodging, food and drugs, not helping them but enabling them to continue ruining their life until they eventually die. How can a rehabilitation center lose you medication and personal belongings? Odyssey house is ran mainly by addicts and the living conditions are deplorable. Would recommend to anyone truly wanting help to go somewhere else that properly staffed with professional help. This place is basically a homeless shelter for addicts, not a true rehabilitation center. Its undeniably appalling to an average person and I feel sorry for anyone that went there seriously trying to get better because this place made me want to jump in the deep end! Glad I'm stronger than that, and I actually thank Odyssey house for terrifying me so bad because it gave me the strength I needed to do it myself! I wouldn't spend 2 more seconds there, Odyssey House is that bad and should be shut down!!!!!!!

Insight Wellness Center: what do users think?
val Damon: I would never tell anyone to go here. You can’t talk to a doctor over the phone and they never call back. Even when your told Dr Kahn will be told it is super high priority. I spent a week having seizures that lasted one hour to six hours. Went to the hospital twice. I had a reaction to some meds Dr. Khan prescribed. Luckily for me the doctors at Genesys figured it out. But now I have to have different meds to replace the ones I had the reaction to. I will be looking for a new pain management Dr.
Noah Sheppard: These people were supposed to help with withdrawals from pain medication instead they gave me a higher narcotic that had nothing for withdrawals I withdrawed off of my pain meds by myself all they want to do is push saboxtin on u they treat u like a dope head I would not recommend them very unprofessional all these people want is your insurance money very bad experience with them and all i was supposed to do is go there for was injections in my back now I ended up with no help cause I went to them
Joe Wolfe: I've had a very pleasant experience. Dr. Shenava has been very helpful and understanding with me. Is very personable and cares about me as a patient. Would recommend him to anybody. Great Dr. Great person.
