Miss Missy: I am a former foster parent for this agency, the Flint location. I have in the past worked for many years with children who come from abused and neglected homes. And was so excited about fostering as a part of my service to my community.However this agency withheld information about children whom they allowed to be placed in my home. This agency offered no assistance. This agency blamed me for their lack of support. The staff at this agency retaliated against me when I asked that children be replaced from my home after my own son suffered physically and mentally from a placement.What happened next was shocking. I became victimized by this agency. This agency was allowed to complete a special evaluation with no merit and in an attempt to assassinate my character.What I found is that there was no help for foster families who are victimized by foster care agencies.I have to believe there is an agency somewhere that will support their foster parents. However, Bethany Christian Services, Flint location, is not one of those agencies.

Andrew Powell: Went through this agency. The homes they place you in are awful. They gave full permission for parents to lay hands on the foster kids. Another home CPS had to get involved.
Brandon Alvarez: Lazy and incompetent would be a good start to describe their workers and their ethics. The poor kids under their care are just used as cash cows, and have no one looking out for their real best interest. Workers or supervisors do not respond to inquiries from anyone for months and months. Their license should be taken away.
