Humane Society-Genesee County: what do users think?
deb-rob turner: The kindness and compassion of the staff when we made the decision to put our Lab down was so appreciated. They made one of our worst days bearable
Cheryl Harris: Best place ever! Very caring staff, professional and kind. Facility was very clean and organized.I love my new kittens. Love once again thank to you❤️
Iam Hardman Michigan: Donate pet supplies.
Linda Defore: No help for wild cat. that attack other animals
Ken Metcalf: My grandkids like going there they do a good job for the animals I wish I could adopt them all
Tracy LaLone: Love this place an the staff!
mike frost: I owend a dog for 13yrs she was the heathiest and friendlist dog u could ever meet i had to put her down cause of old age. I decide its time to adopt another one and was denied because i did not have a vet history for my last dog like wow that was totally unbelievable i took very good care of my previous dog treated her like a lid and because she did not have a vet history i just can not believe that.
Tammy Beck: Clean, animals seemed as happy as could be considering their situation.
Jessica DePottey: Extremely poor communication. Very poor customer service. I wanted to put in an application for a cat my son and I absolutely fell in love with but was told I had to also pay $25 with the application. Only to be told the next day the $25 wasn't due with the application and that nobody there would have said otherwise. Except they did. If I had put the application in when I wanted to we would have our pet. Thanks to the lack of communication, we are back to searching for a pet we've been wanting for over a year. They were not friendly during any of our interactions. I hope they treat the animals better than they treat the people wanting to adopt them.
Amber Garland: Terrible place to try to adopt from. They deny people for any reason at all. They should be more concerned about finding the animals loving and caring homes rather than being so critical and judgemental especially during a time where adoptions are at an all time low.
Dennis Lee: very compassionate
Deb Narcio: We adopted this sweetie on December 7,2022 at the age of 4 months. He has doubled in size. He was previously known as Stimpy and now he is known as Nugget. The people there was very friendly and animals were treated great. Enclosing picture
ceta Bean: So, thanks to one of the rescuers and taking in the cat. As far as the humane society in Burton. we drove 15 minutes to obtain the cat from Mount Morris that pest control was driving around two hours later in the back of your truck with. Picked up the cat drove to Burton to the Humane Society. Long story short we are contractors we do not walk around with cat carriers. But because the cat was brought in, in a live trap. Humane Society will not take her. she has a red collar with a bell, I stuck my fingers in there and pet her to prove she was not Ferral. Also offered to show pictures of her in her home. They still would not take her. I told the lady we’re contractors did not have a carrier so the owner just called pest control. I’m not gonna go buy a carrier if I don’t own a cat. So Humane Society can kiss my round beautiful you know what . That tournament we played in last year and donated $600 to them will never be repeated by our company again. I have never asked to main society for any help till today. They are just ridiculous. Here we are. We are on the job, and these animals are not our responsibility. Animal control, Humane Society, and any other animal centers should be working with people who are on the job and dealing with animal problems. Why do people even bother donated. Seems like your establishment wants cases that results in easy money. Step it up people are not gonna tolerate it. Do your job and your job is to take an animals. I am not gonna run around the house like rescues for hours catching a cat, this was easier.
Dakota Naganashe: Absolutely helpful and an amazing place to go! Highly recommend!
June Weaver: I hope they treat their animals better than they treated me. I found a dog that I wanted to meet and adopt so I called on Wednesday and was informed I had to visit the dog in person, then fill out an application and then wait to be approved. I traveled 42 miles one way the next day to meet him. When I got there the dog was being sterilized and I couldn't see him on his surgery day. I asked if I could come back later and was told not until today. So I returned to the building after lunch after thinking about it, I wanted to be assured I would be the first to see him and fill out an application and leave it with them. I spoke to Lily and I was told no, I could not complete an application until I spent time with the dog first, and I had to follow their process. I asked if I could put a deposit on the dog, and was told no. So I showed up today at 12:45 pm with a dog collar and a pocket full of treats anxious to meet my black & white Chihuahua. I was told he was already being held for someone else! I asked to speak to the supervisor. She came out, never introduced herself, but gruffly said, the dog was being held for someone else. If I wanted him that I should have been there 45 minutes earlier! I explained my phone call, my (2) visits yesterday, being denied ability to leave an application etc. She said that I should've been there at 12:00 pm. She never apologized, took my previous trip into consideration, nothing. Zero customer service and I still do not have a black & white Chihuahua!!!! June
Brandy eads: This place is a pain to deal with. We put in an application Wednesday. On Thursday they called us back because our cats needed a rabies vaccine and we said okay no problem we will do it in the morning. This call was 30 minutes before they closed and I had everything I needed done by the time they even opened on Friday morning. They gave the dog to someone else somehow with them not even being open. I don't recommend this place at all. It's unorganized and a most the employees are rude. Take your business to animal control.
Christeen Colombe: Terrible experience. “They reserve the right to deny anyone” and that they absolutely do and for no good reason. The girls in there seem to be on some kind of power trip about getting to tell people no. It’s sad. I went in to find companionship for my youngest daughter and my oldest daughter (who doesn’t live with me) came along to look and fell in love with the same cats i originally thought of adopting. She put in an application and was denied bc she was “too young and didn’t have a vet history.” Ok so I said I guess They were meant to live at my home and told her she can come and visit. I went In to put in my application to adopt the pets and one of the girls that worked there came out and in an accusatory voice like I was trying to do something wrong stated “your daughter was just in here and tried to adopt the cats?” Then came and showed me my daughters drivers license photo with her old address (my home) not her new address on her license and goes “yeah we’ll let you know on Monday” very nasty and again like I was trying to do something wrong. I was trying just like my daughter to give these cats a good home and provide companionship for my kids in my home. These “women” were on a power trip and had very nasty attitudes. The cats have been there for almost 3 months. I would 100% not recommend-terrible.
Brian Hobbit: looked at faces had to leave
Michael Little: They won't allow folks to Walk thru and look at all the animals. It's very disappointing
Jodi Gutierrez: Great place
Trailhiker: We appreciate the people that work here

All About Animals Rescue: what do users think?
Izzy: My family and I can’t recommend this place enough. Throughout the past few years, we’ve taken 9 different cats there and 2 dogs. Never had ANY complications. They informed me on how one of my cats had ulcers and another had tooth decay. In another surgery for another cat, they called to inform me that she had a fluid in her uterus and gave me lots of helpful information on what it means and what to watch for. Last year I rescued a dog with severe aggression towards men, crates, etc and they had no issues with him. All of them healed wonderfully with no complications. I take my dogs to get their shots here and they always fill the prescription for flea meds from Chewy within a few days. I love this place and the amazing work they do.
Ernie: Got our cats spayed here without any issues and the process was smooth/straight forward.
Raymond Charlene: My 1st experience with this clinic was about 5 years ago, I had my dog and cat both fixed. They came home perfectly healthy and healed up great. We ended up adopting a stray cat a year later and she too needed to be fixed, they had some complications in surgery, said her uterus was torn but everything should be fine just keep an eye on her and gave me a list of things to watch for, and call if I had any concerns, she was perfectly fine and healed up excellent. We just got another puppy a few months ago and I have her appointment for her spay, I completely trust everything will be fine. Great place. They've treated my pets well.
Sheri Mcwilliams: I went during feral cat day. All about animals.. loaned me the cages to catch them. They spayed my feral cats.. gave shots for $10 per cat. Awesome deal. This female had kittens every litter since first heat. Now... No more babies. Great place!
Brianna Frye: They told me they could do the teeth cleaning and spay the same day. Only way I could get the dog in at their 8am time was to have my small kids miss the first hour of school because I'm the only person able to get them on the bus and I can't be in two places at once. Now we have to do it twice because they decided to wait until we got here to tell me they weren't going to do both.I love All About Animals in general but I'm not very happy with this location today.
Justin Frost: Highly inefficient facility. I called the Flint location several times with no answer only going to voicemail. I ended up leaving a message with no response for two days. This should have been my first warning. I did receive a text message two days later with instructions on dental cleaning. You must get a consult first, walk in only. So, I clear an afternoon block for 3 1/2 hours thinking this would be more than enough time for a consult. I arrive, check in, and am told it will be a 30-45 minute wait. No problem right? I wait 55 minutes then check back on the progress. I am told only 15 more minutes. I wait 45 more minutes being told it is only 15 more minutes. Then I am told I probably won’t be seen any time soon. Then they decide to communicate after all of this, that even if seen, the wait time for a dental cleaning would be approximately 4 1/2 - 5 months!!!! Highly inefficient, lacks communication, DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!
Terri Lowe: I have five animals! They let me bring 1 in take her home& grab another 🤷🏻‍♀️ I've have been using the service of this company for several years, even before this location existed! I'm so grateful for them 😊 thank you for making my visit stress-free again today 😍
Tamara Avery: The staff is very friendly. Super helpful. And their fees are a blessing. Thank you for all that you do and teach.~Avery Family
Bailey Ralston: Very disappointed. I called ahead of time and asked about pricing for vaccines for my dog. I asked if there was an office fee or any additional fees and i was told “No, its just the cost of the vaccine”. Which should have been $15 each ($30 total)I brought my dog in today and upon checking in i was told i would have to pay an additional $20 PER VACCINE because my dog is not spayed yet (we are waiting until she is fully developed before spaying her) which would have made the cost $70 when i was told $30 over the phone and I specifically inquired about any additional fees. The receptionist who i was speaking with at the clinic was very unhelpful and did not want to take time to explain why there was an extra charge assuming i should have already known. The additional charge should have been discussed over the phone when i inquired about pricing and additional fees.
Traci Kellman: Great experience, friendly and helpful staff. They care about the animals and the pricing for their services is amazing. My dog had dental cleaning and surgery. Would highly recommend!!
Debra Myers: Took 4 kittens and I was hesitant due to some negative reviews. They were caring and even told me one had a couple ear mites. Just use peroxide they said. My kittens are happy 6 months old. Since having to go on disability this was perfect! Make your decision but usually unhappy folks will right a review. The day we took ours in there approx 60. That’s one day. A bad outcome is not good. It doesn’t say flint or Warren. We highly recommend Flint.
nay nay one creator: Had appointment to get my male cat neutered tomorrow. Never answer their phones......Absolutely not after reading reviews. Cats and dogs getting infections and dying after surgery. The staff is uncaring and rude. The facility is dirty. They all need to go back to school. State needs to shut this chop shop down.
Lacie Williams: They are so great with your pets your family. Is there a family!
Lilly Spitz: Took my 12 year old cat with potentially cancer here for a spaying. I got her only a few months ago which is why she hadn't been spayed. I explained my situation to them via email and they booked me in for that same week since it was more of an urgent case. I was hesitant at first because of some of the reviews. Was really panicking after dropping her off but when I picked her up she was just fine. Better than fine she's doing great. Immediately went back to using the bathroom and eating regularly. Noticed little to no change in behavior besides being more calm. I only wish they would have called me post op like they said they would but otherwise my experience was great! I would definitely recommend them.
Courtney Pidd: Welp, while I'm here...I have (Had) an appointment tomorrow morning to bring my one year old cat in the be spayed and I've had a horrible gut wrenching feeling about it since I made her appointment. I recently read alot of reviews of cats and dogs dying shortly after being spayed. I will NOT be taking her in. I highly recommend to EVERYONE they do the same! They are cheap for a reason and need to be shut down!
Katrina Teverbaugh: Took my 6 year old pug there today because her nails had started to embed through her skin and when I say a caring staff. Went ahead to get my pug up to date on shots and see about dental work. The prices fit my fixed, single, disabled parents income. This is where we will go forever. Thank you All about animals rescue rescue
Bruce Wayne: Will not answer the phone. I've called 20 times over the last two days. Tuesday and Wednesday
Francis Garthow: Unprofessional. Don't answer the phone ever
Advanced Limousine Service: I was nervous about using this place after reading the negative reviews... But we choose them to spay our stray cat. I couldn't have been happier with the experence. They have an orderly checkin process that takes about 20 minutes. Only 4 days after surgery and our furball is up running around happy. This isn't your traditional veterinary visit as these folks aren't out to gouge anybody and they do a really good humane service for our community.
Anastasia Durrenberg: Got in and out staff was very friendly to my puppy River very professional.
Sarrah Duprey: 3 days after my cat being spayed here she passed away. She has never had a single health problem her entire life!! She started falling over out of nowhere and within the hour she was gone! I wish I had taken time to read reviews instead of going by word of mouth as I see this has happened to other people as well! My heart is broken! Please consider somewhere else you never know what the outcome will be!

STREETHEARTS ANIMAL RESCUE: what do users think?
Heather Obloj: Wonderful people! I called when I found a hurt turtle on my mail route. So happy to hand him off to someone willing to help and care for him!
R Mc: *HIGHLY RECOMMEND* - As I was trying to find the location of my pup I called Streethearts Animal Rescue,Bill and the others there were able to find my dogs whereabouts over a couple days and reunite us ♥️This dog had no association with their foundation yet they still went out of their way to assist me. I have nothing but positive things to say about the people who work here. They went above and beyond to help a stranger. I greatly appreciate what they’ve been able to do for me.Had an unfortunate series of events happen while I was on vacation, which led to the person watching my dog forfeit him to an animal hospital.
Jenna Hitzelburger: We rescued a pit bull mix from Streethearts. Linda and Bill were absolutely wonderful. We met our Tucker in Linda’s home. She was welcoming and all she told us about tucker we knew he was a great fit for us. If we look into getting another dog or if our family is ready for a dog we will absolutely recommend Streethearts!
Timothea Ross: I am impressed by the service offered:The dog they brought was characterized accurately and it's obvious they put a lot of themselves into the dog's care. They brought the dog to visit my family in our home, in a convenient and re-assuring visit and offered tips on proper care and handling. I would recommend this service to others.
Alan Forest: Location? Doesn't say anywhere
Pamela Guerin: Bill Heatley is the most amazing person and all the people that work within his organization I would recommend him to anybody for any type of animal services he is a blessing and a great asset to the community
Al A: I got my boy Boone from this rescue, and couldn't have been more impressed with the people who operate it, and their selfless dedication to helping their adoptees. Very happy to endorse and recommend them.
Allison McCarthy: Streethearts is an incredible organization with dedicated people to that care deeply about animals. Streethearts helped me and my dog immensely in finding a new and wonderful home for my dog, who I could no longer care for. Streethearts was very understanding and through in getting to know our dog and his history and what type of home would be best for him. They were extremely communicative and clearly had the best interest of our dog at heart. It was immediately clear that they would only place him with a great family match to ensure both our dog and his new family were all set up for success. I honestly can't say more positive things about these amazing people -- I know my sweet dog is with a wonderful family and is going to have a great life. They are truly amazing humans that do such good work on behalf of animals and the community. From my heart --thank you. I would highly recommend them to anyone.
Casey Abbasspour: AMAZING PLACE - My dogs ran away and the owner gave me so much good advice on how to find them, they were so helpful with many tips, offering to post our lost pups to their page, and personally offering their help. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!
Zane Baby: Bill helped me find a good place to relinquish a stray Siamese kitten very helpful and would recommend for help and even adoption of an animal 🐕
Joanna Martinez: Thank you streetheartsfor helping us with our beloved dog King. Because of you we continue to have our sweet pup ❤️❤️ we appreciate it emensley!
Anthony & Joanna Kitchen: Our puppy was sick and needed surgery that we couldn't afford. We have almost given up hope from an financial struggle. My family almost lost our companion. We was about to give him up for adoption. Streethearts Animal Rescue is a true blessing! they help keep my family together. Most importantly they help saved our puppy life. We appreciate them and highly recommend them. Thank you again
David Bond: Called with a wild duck going in circles in our yard. We were asked to send a picture and I also included a video. We were told someone would get back with us this never happened. We texted a few times with no response. If this is not something that they deal with it would have been appreciated to have been told up front so we could find some who did.
jackie watkins: Found a little shih tzu around 6pm tonight. And thanks to Bill Heatley he helped us find his rightful owners Thanks Bill
kooky112: Not a real 501c3 rescue. They also have adopted out stolen dogs and I have seen them go into and step on other dog rescues in the area and try to defame these rescues as well all over Facebook using their personal accounts.
B Huett: Very considerate and caring people, always there to help whenever possible. Thank you for being there…👍
Jeramiah Harrington: Amazing team of people. Adopted a dog through Streethearts and continue to follow them on social media.
kismet rebeccarocks: Animal rescue is never cut and dried Everyone has an opinion on how to handle animal emergencies but few will get out an actually get dirty like Bill does all day and nite.I trust Streethearts to make the best legal and emotional decisions concerning animal welfare , they are routinely lied to about situations concerning animals which hampers the whole process. When an animal in distress comes through your news feed, people start commenting~ "someone should help that baby"~ Who is someone ? That someone is Bill and Keri .
Jessica ONeal: We adopted & added the sweetest doggie to our family this year. Everyone was so kind and helpful, as new doggie parents we had a ton of questions! Bill & Linda took the time to answer everything and make suggestions. I feel they went above and beyond to make sure our doggie was a good fit for us! I would highly recommend this rescue to anyone!
Can F: They are involved in so many animal rescues!!!
Teresa Adams: I want to say I appreciate all the work you do to rescue animals, find homes, help locate lost or injured animals, seek veterinarians, and everything else you do for the animals of our county!! Thank you so much!!

Paradise Animal Rescue: what do users think?
Stephanie Letterson: Basically crying right now because how rude the staff is. Got a call from Heidi basically accusing me of lying about vet reference when she is the one that did not get my name right with the vet. Despite my pets vaccination records, including heart worm vaccinations, refuses complete my application in need proof purchasing the monthly chew (which I have purchased from the vet and from other pet suppliers). Has not bothered to call either reference.
clfaw: So far the best I can do is 2 stars. The reason is I have left a message in your voicemail, which says you will call back in 24 - 48 hours. It has now been 4 days. Í can count and that is not 24 - 48 hours.I will give you another shot.
Lisa Dionne: Paradise is a wonderful organization caring for hundreds of needy cats and dogs. Please help them, it is completely dependent on volunteers and donations.
Bambi Klaffer: Very friendly. Very patient.
Jessica Welch: Just the best place. The best people. Caring. Loving toward the animals.
Mark Kenney: The staff went out of their way to take our cat and find a home for her.
Dena Ellis: This is the best place to find a fur baby
Deb Geno: This rescue is awesome, I was able borrow traps for a low rental and will have the check returned when I bring back the traps. This allowed me to complete TNR - trap neuter return, on five cats.
brian ferns: Very helpful
lance johnson: Staff nice but, dog for adoption that was heart worm positve was not disclosed on web site, or until after meet and greet. Would have taken her anyway but was denied because I don't have physical fence. I've had invisible fence ror 25 yrs, never had a dog get loose.
Marcia Henson: I would highly recommend this place. We adopted our kitten from here. Lorraine was very helpful and nice to us.
Shawne Ross: Wonderful rescue! All of the animals a very well cared for and the staff is Amazing! Thank you Thank you Ladies for our new family member! AKA Salem's Mom! ❤️❤️❤️😻
Kathy Ryder: I have been trying to contact paradise animal rescue for over a week no return call, no return emails, nothing ! I want to adopt a dog that they have but, can't get anyone to reply back my application, calls,or emails. Very disappointed & looking elsewhere! 😒
Ashley Davio: If I could give no stars I would. They have terrible customer service so rude to be all I did was ask if they received an application of mine from an animal I absolutely loved. Never will be searching for an animal here…
Regina Bridges: Very professional, friendly, and helpful. I dopted my 2 year old cat Amari and she is the sweetest cat. They were very helpful in finding what I wanted. I highly recommend anyone that's looking for a pet go to Paradise Animal Rescue.
Mad Curtis: My family and I have adopted 4 cats from here in the last 7 years and we love this rescue and the animals that come from here!!
Desiree Kenney: The staff at Paradise Animal Rescue was professional, super friendly. You can tell by talking with them that the love the animals they care for. I was blessed to be able to take home Isabelle. She's been very fun to watch get accustomed to my house and more loving then she was at the shelter.
Joe Rossi: They provide a great service, volunteers are experienced and friendly. Great people!
Chris Templeton: amazing staff
Dan Laidler: Their compassion for animals and getting them placed in a suitable home is unequaled. We've adopted several pets from them. Always satisfied.
