The Palette Café: what do users think?

Mary-Katherine Curnow: Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5More

Lyn Mulkey: I tried the veggie wrap today and was positively surprised. Very good, lots of flavor. Recently, I tried the veggie wrap at Steady Eddie's at the Flint Farmers Market and the Palette Cafe is far better, hands down. Less expensive, as well. Kudos to the great staff at the FIA's Palette Cafe!
D. S.: Absolutely delicious sandwiches and soups. Staff are warm and friendly. Best lunch spot in Flint.
Mister Dominique Hankins: Vegetarian 🍕 is 😋❗
Tobias Lerke: Absolute perfect location and great food.
Angela Brown: I’ve been visiting the Flint Institute of Arts museum for years and have been ordering the London Fog Lavender tea from The Palette Cafe. I love the flavour of this ☕️tea, and I’ve been meaning to get lunch here now for some time. Today, I talked my son into eating here for lunch and we had the Caprese sandwiches. The sandwich is made on homemade bread 🍞 from Detroit, with mozzarella cheese, tomatoes 🍅, onions and pesto sauce. The sandwich 🥪 was slightly grilled and came with a pickle. The sandwich was substantial and tasty, the pickle was crisp, the tea was hot and soothing and the server was kind and professional. We sat outside the cafe and enjoyed the ambiance of being near the museum. The sandwiches are a little more expensive than a submarine shop, but they were great quality and tasted delicious! I really enjoyed my lunch and if you’re out and about and want to try a new place to eat or you want to go to a museum and stop in for a quick lunch or tea, try out Palette’s cafe.
S.L. Gasko: Delicious, fresh, and I love their daily soup selection. I have yet to find a soup I didn't like. I do have to add that they only make so much of each soup per day. On more than one occasion, my sons and I took the last of the pot. Just in time! It's also right next to the gift shop, which is lovely and sells works produced in their glassblowing demonstrations.
Antonio Sweeney: Great place to stop by and grab a sandwich if you’re looking for a tasty bite! The service is always 10/10
Kevin Spencer: Coffee..!
Rebecca Perry: Delicious food. I am eating lunch here. A cup of soup and a half of grilled cheese sandwich. Frothy latte, perfectly done.
Diego Alonso: Easy, delicious, always fresh, and very safe for COVID. People are the cafe are super kind and will make you feel at home. + They use biodegradable containers
Bob Yarbrough: Great coffee at fair prices. The whole experience was pretty much perfect.
Ercis Urisaeam Migrateaem Uiriesausa: Best garlic cheese bread ever lovely
Kennedy Faith: Would have given 5 stars as I love the remodel of the cafe, the worker there was very nice, and the new menu has a good selection. However, I did think the atmosphere of the whole cafe was very sterile and could have used some decoration, color, or some artwork to make it stand out more. Overall, great experience though.
Lester P: Kind of pricey, but that’s beside the point. Customer service sucks. I wasn’t greeted or anything and the young lady seemed like she didn’t even want to be there. Food took forever and I was disgusted once I witness the skinny blonde drop the spatula on the floor, pick it right up then just start using it again. I will never eat here again even with the 10% discount I get for being a member of the museum.
christopher everson: Yummy 'quick' food with a nice changing menu!
tery russell: Exceptional in every respect. Perhaps the best lamb I have ever eaten.
Robert Wishart: It's your basic museum cafe that does have decent coffee. Nothing special, but if you're in a pinch or just nearby, it's nice to know it's here.
