Dana Hinsberger: We had storm damage to our prior Sunsetter awning on a Friday. Rusty came out to our home that same Friday evening to give us an estimate to submit to our home owners insurance company. He even retracted our damaged awning so we could still use our deck space in the interim. We submitted our claim and received our approval to replace our awning the following Monday. We placed our Sunsetter order with Awning Solutions and were told it could take up to 2-3 weeks for it to arrive. We had a family reunion scheduled 3 weeks from our order date and hoped it would arrive in time. UPS wasn't delivering our Sunsetter in a timely fashion and Rusty offered to drive to Saginaw to pick it up 2 days before our reunion. Awning Solutions went above and beyond making sure that our awning arrived AND was installed in time for our family reunion. Great company, even better customer service! Thank you

Bobby OMFS: Stay away from these guys they are dishonest and unprofessional. Jed is the owners son and he plays the part of salesman but is quite clueless. He came to my home and told me the project would be done in 3 weeks. I reluctantly gave him a check for 9500 dollars so they could order what was needed. He told me they have never done a job this big but that they could handle it. He came back two more times to make sure he did not need to make any structural changes before installation and he told me we were good to go. He also told me his "dad" checked it out and said we did not need any further modifications to our home. We live on the lake in Fenton. I have videos of them looking and crawling all over to make this determination. 3 weeks went by and I heard nothing. I finally reached out to them at 7 weeks and was told they would be at my home on Thursday. They did not show up. I gave them another week and they had nothing but excuses. My family then went to Florida and this company (Jed and his dad) asked to come to my home on a Sunday to do the install. Once they got there they called me and said they need to have me contact a builder to install a structural support beam at my cost. I said absolutely not at my cost. I asked for my money back and they said no. My wife spoke to the owner and it is obvious he has no concept of professionalism. So now my attorneys are involved because I have no time to argue with these guys. The owner who is not the sharpest asked why we would go to Florida when they were installing and I reminded them that this trip was planned for a while and the awning was supposed to go in months ago.I urge everyone to stay away from them. These two are a joke. We have also filed a complaint with the better business bureau and our social media team is going to spread the word about them as well. It is not about the money it is about the lack of professionalism and communication. So far they have not responded to our attorneys so we will see what they say. BOTTOM LINE STAY AWAY!!!! Scammers and dishonest.
