Liora Hess: I visited this location at 9:57 a.m. on 01/10/2023. A woman took my order of Nova lox bagel, on sesame bagel, untoasted, without tomato or capers. I gave her the order twice. Then a third time I emphasized "just onions and cream cheese." A short while later she handed me a bag. I thought it looked on the small size for a Nova lox bagel, but went to have a seat.Then someone put a box on the counter and called out nova lox bagel. I went to the counter and asked the same woman who took my order if that order was actually my box, and she said no, so I went and sat down. A few seconds later she walked toward the table and said I had the wrong order and that "you asked, and I told you 'no,' and *you just walked away*." She said this last part with a lot of attitude. I said that I asked her if the boxed order was mine, and that she had said no, so I had gone and sat down. She gave me some retort full of attitude. Then I took the boxed Nova lox sandwich and sat down, opened the box, and saw it had capers. I took it back to the counter and told her in a normal speaking voice just matter-of-factly, "I ordered this without capers." She said, "You only said no tomato," to which I replied that I had ordered it without tomatoes or capers.Due to her rude tone of voice and attitude, after eating, I went to the counter and asked the only worker that was at the counter what the woman's name was. She mumbled something, and it didn't sound like a common name, so I couldn't understand her. I asked again, and she said, "You can ask her yourself. She's right there." She pointed to the seating area, and I saw the woman who had taken my order was now wiping tables. So I went up to her and asked her her name. The reply was, "Whatchoo need my name for?" I said because I wanted to complain to a manager. She replied, "I AM the manager." I said that then I needed to talk to whomever was over her and complain because she was very rude to me. She said that no, you were rude and "everybody saw it." I had never been rude, never raised my voice. The only thing anybody had seen was a woman who had returned to the counter and simply questioned if she had given me the wrong order (she had) and then, when she had gotten my order wrong, asked for it to be corrected. Neither time was I rude or raising my voice in any way.When I kept asking for her manager's information or corporate information, she ignored it and just kept repeating, "Bye!" loudly. Since I had no way to identify her, I packed up my things and took a photo of the back of her as she walked back into the back room.I did contact corporate about this and gave them the details from the receipt. This is the only negative incident I've ever had an Einsteins in the five states I've lived in. Needless to say, I will not be returning to this location. Tone and attitude are things that are hard to convey in a review, but I can say that nobody in Einstein's management over this store would be proud of the way this worker acted. I'm hoping they have video with audio and will review it so they'll see it supports my rendition of events.

Ericka Alexander: Visited Einstein's near Kettering University in Flint, MI and got their newest veggie sandwich and coffee. They were able to reduce the carbs for me and it was quite delicious! They staff were welcoming and super friendly. It is definitely worth the visit!

Melissa Sutherland: First time trying Einstein Bros and decided on the farmhouse. The cheesy hashbrown bagel had a nice crunch from the potatoes and the farmhouse spread was delicious as well.

It was pretty good and didn't cause stomach problems from being to strong. The inside is very nice and clean. The servers were great too. I will be stopping in more from now on.

Chris For Christ: It may be mostly my fault; I had a bad experience here a few years back. I figured I'd try again, even after reading recent reviews of people dealing with the same. Wouldn't ya know it, same mess as before.I should honestly give this place 0 stars. The service was abysmal. Three staff, one other customer ahead of me who got their order pretty much as soon as I walked in. None of the staff took the time to offer a simple greeting, or even thank me, until I said something first after awkwardly standing there a few silent moments.I said I would recognize the older lady on staff, because she was friendly, unfortunately I forgot her name. The other young lady who worked there all but threw my food at me after taking it out the microwave.Speaking of the food, I ordered a breakfast burrito. I don't know if they simply don't make them fresh, but it was microwaved and tossed in a bag and handed to me. It still looked undercooked in some places (pictured). The tortilla was raw almost everywhere but the edges. I had to peel it off the wrapper.I feel terrible for the Kettering students who eat here because they don't have much choice. But for anyone else, I'd recommend not spending your money in this location; every other Einstein Bros. I've gone to has been terrific. This one is a waste of your time.

Karen Reedy: Lox and salmon cream cheese on an Asiago cheese bagel. Basic and delicious. The staff were arguing amongst themselves when I arrived and were rude to the employee who asked for help taking and making my order, but it came out right.

Kat: I think it’s poor customer service to be open until 2:00 and unable even to get a toasted bagel because of “toaster already being cleaned and turned off.” If you want your employees out by 2:00 why don’t you close at 1:30 and until that time the customer can receive actual customer service. Just a thought..

The lid game is weak it is always falling off when I grab the cup resulting in coffee getting spit all over me. This happens every time please get different lids or cups whatever one prevents the lid from flying off from me just grabbing the cup

Sarah Jane: The food tasted okay but wasn't worth what I paid. I ordered a turkey and havarti on an Asiago bagel and a 20 oz black iced coffee which cost me almost $10. The sandwich had two extremely thin slices of turkey and a sliver of cheese that covered a quarter of the sandwich. Very disappointing for what you pay. Starbucks is expensive but you get way better value.

So salted caramel it is. Why after all of this HE GIVES ME THE MOST WATERED DOWN DRINK EVER! YOU CANT EVEN TASTE ANYTHING! IM SAVING IT UNTIL I GET OFF OF WORK AND IM TAKING IT RIGHT TF BACK!

The Beauty Box Boutique of Flint Michigan: I used to love this place. My favorite is the Cafe Carmel unfortunately the last two times I was at The Coffee Beanery my drink taste like old coffee with extra cream. I couldn’t taste the Carmel, they didn’t even put whip cream on it. I paid over $5 for my specialty coffee I don’t think I’ll make this visit again. I feel I might of well go back to Star Bucks! I am very disappointed with my whip cream less Cafe Carmel!🙁

AMC !!!: Well, I would've given five 🌟 but I went to pick up some of their coffee bags to take home and the doors were locked@ 4:45pm on a Monday. No store hours on the door. Someone was inside but made no effort to say why doors were lock front and back. WTH😤 Great coffee if you can get it.

harmony: I’ve never left a bad review in my entire life lol, but I asked for a medium iced coffee and they gave me a small, and I asked for cream too and they basically gave me black coffee. I then asked for more and she still gave me back coffee with barely any cream at all and at that point I just left but I’m not even going to drink it because I don’t like black coffee so it was just a waste of my money. I am very displeased with my experience here. The barista was nice but I do not understand how she thought that my coffee had cream in it.

kenyrda houston: Totally just fine with the service this morning at coffee beanery waited 10 minutes for my coffee wrong coffee first of all secondly we was priced twice for $33 which we only ordered $8 drink so we had to wait another 3 minutes for the coffee with another minute or so for the coffee to be made so we waited a total of 12 minutes at this coffee place for one cup of coffee totally dissatisfied but then we had a lady at the end by the name of Jay that was pretty mouthy I wouldn't suggest nobody I wouldn't go back and I'm not even a coffee drinker
