BB: It says on the door open 9-5pm but get there at 4:40pm and all the doors are locked. Waste of gas especially at these prices. Ridiculous.

Michael Balen: This might be the slowest bank I’ve ever been to. We have a business nearby and use them for our banking and we plan on at least 30 minutes just to drop off deposits. Not sure what’s going on here but I don’t seem to have this problem anywhere else. Plus, the customer service is below average.

Shannon Keahey: I don't usually leave bad reviews but I'm really disappointed with this bank. I've tried to open an account twice now, and both times they said a teller wasn't in to do that. No teller at a bank?🤔I need an account so my husband and I can transfer money to each other, otherwise I would have given up. The second time they told me a teller wasn't available I made an appointment. On the day of my appointment I arrived to a closed lobby and HUGE line for the drive thru. I thought about waiting in the drive thru until I sat for 10 minutes and no one moved. I called them to let them know what happened and left a voice mail. No one ever called me back and it has been over a week now. I guess I'm sticking with Elga. Really annoyed!

Dillon Wells: DO NOT trust them with your money. I went there 2 days ago to get change for my work. Lobby was closed and I had to wait in the drive-thru line for an hour and a half (not an exaggeration). I gave them $241 to make change for my drawers ($100 for one drawer and $141 for the other). I got back to the store and realized they had only given me the change for one drawer and shorted me $100. We tried to call numerous times without an answer so I had to drive back up there and wait in line for another hour and a half just to be told they couldn't help me and they would have to check to see if their system balances out. Never heard from them. Went back in today to see if the issue could be resolved and the man was extremely rude and unprofessional. He told me that their system balanced out and that they can't help me. I requested that they check the cameras to see what happened because I know for a fact what I gave them and what I received back. I was told that they don't investigate these issues under $500 and there is nothing they can do for me. I am convinced they either put our $100 in someone else's envelope or pocketed themselves. Our store will be finding another bank to do business with. Never ever trust them.

Mike Scott 2: Great people and service at this location. We use them for both personal and business requirements. Covid has made things really difficult for everybody and I hope to see everyone open up for in-store business soon. It's time to get back to as much normality as we can now. This location is at the very corner have the Genesee Valley Mall hand across the street from Panera Bread and Faith Christian Store Etc

The Legend: I went there today to get $40 worth of change for my job, left with no change! They could not do their job in looking up the business account and because I did not have two forms of ID, they refused to give me change for $40 dollars.I’m there 3 to 4 times a week making deposits for my job, but they couldn’t give us change for $40 without 2 forms of ID! That’s crazy!So I recommend banking at Chase. They were able to give me the change with no hassle and great customer service!

Faygo Guy: Unable to do much of anything here anymore, rushed in and out. It's not like there's a line waiting outside of this place.Have to make appointments to do anything really, but also have to worry it might be cancelled. Because someone called off and they have to have a babysitter in there lobby at all times.Will be looking into a new location to visit from now on.

Botkai: Sat outside in the drive thru for nearly 10 minutes without even being acknowledged by the two ladies who could clearly see me. This isn't the first time I've had this sort of poor customer service at this location, but it was certainly the last straw. I advise going to the one down the road on Court St, it's the one I'll use from now on.

J. Ellen Wiseman: Bank of America opened an account in my middle name and a previous last name on Dec 3. I called the same day and it took me three hours to get through their automated system (which kept hanging up on me because I didn't have an account number) - at the same time I received notices that the email address on the account had been changed and that online banking had been set up -Once I got through to their customer service, they stated they had placed a service ticket and closed the account and I would receive notification in 10 days in writing that the account had been closed.I locked down my credit bureaus, tried to track down the breach that put my SSN out there and waited. Nothing. I tried for another week after that to get in touch with anyone there to verify in writing the account had been closed and someone wasn't using my SSN to pass bad checks or launder money - nothing. I filed a CFPB complaint and they have 60 days to respond...Do you know how much damage can be done in 60 days?Bank of America didn't even run a credit report prior to opening this account and didn't verify any ID - or address - and if they didn't verify or run credit, how can I prevent accounts from being opened up elsewhere? I can't. I am absolutely crushed.

J: Have gone here twice and thanks to them I am removing my money from BofA. They make everything difficult including setting up an appt.. Seems to be a pattern of bad reviews at this branch.

Caitlyn Copenhagen: Stole $45 from my fiancé when he was trying to cash a check from Canada. Claimed that they just use a sheet of paper for their conversions that aren’t updated and they aren’t accurate conversions. The branch manager basically said that it was our fault and we should’ve gone to another bank to cash it and then bring the money over to bank of america. Said the teller did absolutely nothing wrong even though she was using an improper conversion rate and even argued with him in the bank about the percentage he was supposed to receive. WORST BANK EVER, DO NOT USE. Take your money to Chase, they actually care about their clients.

Ny Spanglish: This branch isn’t fully staffed and you have to make an appointment to open accounts or speak to staff. On the day I visited I was told the one staff member was booked and couldn’t help with opening an account. The next closest location is white lake and they “close early certain days.”I’ve been a Bank of America member since 2000 and used branches all across the US, this location is not indicative of the usual level of service Bank of America provides in other states.Having to make an appointment like they are doing me a favor is insane, just close this branch if you can’t staff it.The single teller that was working was very friendly, but definitely should not have been working alone as it is a busy “branch.”

john: Using Covid as an excuse to close 90% of their branches to save money for themselves and to push you towards ATM's with fees. I have to drive a half hour past 3 or 4 closed branches to find an open one. Other much smaller banks in my area have more branches open. January 2022 update still closing this branch sporadically after being closed for 1 1/2 years, plus they have actually permanently closed other branches near me. Also their new bankers hours are 10:00- 4:00 when they are actually open. June 17, 2022 this branch is temporarily closed again.

KeLan Foard: There is no star that can express the disappointing experience I've had at this location. David Croad, the Branch Manger deposited nearly $4,000.00 of my money into a different account. He stated the the money would be made available the "next business day" and here we are six (6) business days later and they have YET to correct this error! Now, the entire branch is disregarding my phone calls, and that is unacceptable. Ive sent four emails, and they all have gone unanswered. This is beyond my level of understanding. I need someone to give me some answers and David Croad needs to be removed!

Ed strange: Insane attitude towards their loan holders. We are simply trying to pay off a loan and get the title signed off on. The branch absolutely refuses to help, and the corp office wants two weeks to stamp a piece of paper, even after receiving a cash payment. I could walk into the lobby of my local small town bank, pay off a loan, and get an initial on the title in about 30 minutes.. if they were busy. Done with BOA..

Robert C: Awful. I'd give BOA a zero if I could. I found that there are 2 kinds of businesses during COVID. Those who use this opportunity to excel at customer service, and those that use COVID as a crummy excuse for god awful customer service. BOA is the latter. They are the only financial institution that closed branches in the area. Not a single other one did. I had to drive 25 minutes to find an open branch the few times I needed a bank. To make it worse, their ATMs were frequently out of cash and/or had super long lines. After being closed for over a year, the Clarkston branch finally opened. I went in to discuss the situation, and everyone there could care less. So, after banking w/ BOA for over 30 years, I closed my account and moved over to a financial institution that actual cares.

Amber Curry: If I could give them a 0 star, I would. They closed my husbands account and gave zero reason, and flagged him for fraud just days after opening up the account. They wouldn’t provide him with any information as to why, and we are contacting a lawyer over defamation. He had never used the account- RUN FAR AND WIDE FROM THIS AWFUL BANK!!!!

Bill Kurolvech: Chase and other branches worked through Covid restrictions and remained open. BOA has no customer focus other than take your money easily( direct deposit) earn %20+ interest and pay us %0.01 interest. Time to move all my accounts!!!

Richard George: Being from California where Bank of America has ATMs conveniently located coming to the state of Michigan made me realize this bank is pathetic. Expecting their customers to go to Walmart to get cash is a perfect example of the greed and corruption in this Banks management. I really recommend people not to bank with Bank of America.
