Mz LadyScorpio: I've been going to Ken's for about 10 yrs and for the first time this year I'm extremely disappointed with the same two pots I get planted every year not only was I upcharged 10-12 dollars because I was told they didn't have any soil to plant my pots.I was told that had to pay more for the soil they were going to get and it wasn't as good as the soil they normally have to leave my pots and come back later and I did so.This year my plants didn't grow like they normally do and I watered them as usual they in fact died almost at least twice. The end of the season I empty my pots and instead being full of soil there were numerous plastic trays that held other plants and or flowers scattered throughout the soilI didn't pay for plastic I paid for soil Ifeel that was an extremelydishonestpracticeand it preventedmy plantsfrom growing. I want a refund on what Ipaid for you don'thave to rob your customersof over a decadeor betterit'sunfortunatebut you'velost a customerpermanentlyand Iwill be contactingyou becauseit'sthe principlenot the price..

Danielle Neiswender: really enjoyed my interaction with Ken when we were there to purchase transplants a few days ago. Our plants needed to wait for in ground planting for a few days (3) while we cleared a bed. Six plants have been cared for in our sunroom for three days, one has developed spotty leaves characteristic of bacterial disease but the other five are fine. unfortunately the greenhouse doesn't accept returns and stated that they should have immediately been planted out. since they would not switch the plant out for an undiseased one, I will of course have to replace it with a purchase elsewhere. and, as a result I probably won't be back. this bums me out as I usually do like to support small and local here in flint. But, I don't want to risk bacterial diseases in my garden

Jennifer Perkins: Love Bordine’s! I honestly get most of my flowers and bushes and roses etc here because they are very healthy. Not gonna lie, they are a bit pricey but if you wait a couple of weeks after they open, they discount flats and early bloomers.You usually get what you pay for. I highly recommend

Alexis Farrar: This place is okay. The selection even at the end of season was amazing and they had plenty to choose from, the problem tho is the care and price. This is a nursery so you would think the plants wouldn't be heavily over watered. That being said, you'd think they would do something to prevent pest as well, and that doesn't seem to be the case. Now price, I understand with covid and them having a selection year round would cause it to be more expensive, but by no means should they be charging what they are for the poor quality of plants. All the pothos were dying or in really poor condition. The figs were wayyy over priced seeing as you can get those anywhere nowadays. Go with caution and if you buy anything I suggest the 3.99 plants. They are small and easy to repot and are good quality plants! Or of course that one thing you've been looking for and can't find. If you can't wait for it, buy it. Im sure that 20-40$ will be worth it, but if that much of a price difference does bother you. I promise wait and somewhere else will get it!

For one, their prices are thee worst. So high. Especially for the pots. Gorgeous pots!!! I want them all. But who can afford them?? And the younger staff. Forget a hello. Or how can I help you. You aren't even gonna get a smile. I tried to be friendly & engage with the young cashier today... lol that was a hard NO. She's mad being at work & it showed. Which is a bummer for Bordines image. Plus she was rough on my plants putting them back in the cart & stems were breaking off. Oh well...I do absolutely LOVE the Bordines potting soil. Which is actually a decent price. I get several every year & my plants thrive.Wrapping it up: if you're rich, love plant variety & have no intentions of having small talk or friendliness at the register....Bordines of Grand Blanc is the place for you!!

Great Dane Plays Simon Says: Careful people. We just spent over $600 on plants and large hanging baskets. Not to mention around $1500 a few years ago. This time….not good. The hanging baskets started looking terrible within a week. I trimmed them and bought some liquid grow and by week 3 they were done for. I wasn’t aware of the 1 week return.?. Anyhow I contacted the store and explained the situation. All of the other decorative plant boxes which are next to the dead/dying plants look great. The lady told me the plants look like they are infested with some type of bug and basically “sorry about your luck”. And I was back there to buy other items! Never again. There are to many options out there for great plants along with great customer service. Not to mention I was driving out of my way to go there. For expensive diseased plants. If you’re a gambler, good place to go I guess. Win some lose some.
