Matthew P.: If you’re looking for good customer service, this is not the place. After a week, I had to call this gentleman asking for my boots. He could not locate them and said he would call me back. He didn’t. I showed up at his shop at which point he reported having found the boots, but when I asked to see them, he accused me of not trusting him, and told me to take my boots and go. So one week later, I still have unrepaired boots and I’m now looking for a new repair place.

Kelly Statler: Thought I found a quality person had taken quite a few things. There was very happy, willing to bring more. Took a pair of moccasins that needed a new zipper in them. They were black. My son bought them for me from California they were special. Wasn’t even the first time I wore him a zipper broke. Took it back was told there would be no charge. Waited a week wanting to hear what’s up with my moccasins so I called Bill. He was very rude and upset and was yelling at me said he did not have another zipper to match. And then it would be $40 to fix my zipper. I told him, sir I really don’t care how much it will cost to fix it because they’re special to me. When I went to pick them up today, he brought me my shoes. I have my recording on because I knew there was going to be a confrontation !!

Neha Crowl: My fiance got a pair of welding boots about 4 yrs ago from this store, the guy said if anything happens to them bring them back and we will either fix them or give you another pair since they have a lifetime warranty on them. Well my fiance only wore them for about 3 months since we got them in 2019. And the heel and rubber cap ripped out of the boot. So we took them back on 4/15 and they said they can't help us, they can't fix them and they can't replace them. Then one of sales guy said Red Wings got rid of the lifetime warranty 19 years ago. This place has lost a good customer and we will let everyone know that this place is a joke and the employees are rude and liars.

I've gone thru those higher priced European brands and bonded welt boots like Bic pens, Irish Setter boots outlast, outwear and remain waterproof by far. And this store is by far the best for customer service and complimentary swag! Thank You for the socks and mink oil which the total was the same as the boots alone with the discount. You have a customer for life.

Pam Bowman: I have Plantars Fasciitis which is like walking on glass, literally. The saleswoman took a lot of time fitting me with the perfect shoes. I bought Saucony brand running shoes. She had me to step on a machine both before and afterward which showed the inflammation of both feet. She also fitted me with an orthotic insert different from the one the Podiatrist had recommended. I love them! It turns out most shoes are cut in at or more narrow in the middle but my feet are not. She found the correct shoe for me and I am so grateful.

She made sure we loved the style and were completely satisfied. The store is Covid safe with masked employees, sanitizer, a brief sign in, and chairs cleaned and marked.
