Alana Marie: Terrible company, bad quality cameras, can barely hear audio, cameras were never installed where I wanted them as the technician made it seem as tho it was “too much work” - when I signed up I was told there was a 100$ gift card promotion, NEVER GOT THE CARD- it’s been 2 yrs and everytime I call they tell me they aren’t in charge of the promotion!? As soon as the equipment is paid I’m canceling the service. Camera quality is subpar at best- I see better images with Ring cameras and Xfinity- and 40$ cameras sold on amazon as you can see from the photo it’s choppy and very pixilated- no matter the setting I chose I can’t see 5ft past my property line

Travis Tausch: The system is garbage. If you live in a rural area it fails without internet and uses over 100 gigs a month to run it.

Kevin Johnson: Service stopped working and they still wouldn't let me cancel the service. They locked me in a 3 year contract for adding a doorbell camera without explaining it to me. The customer service is poor. They should go out of business for shady business practices.

The manger calls me 8:30 on a Saturday night screaming on phone suggesting that I go with competitive company brinks which I am going to now Bc I don’t want a company that doesn’t appreciate me as a customer

Megan Romano: I'm not one to leave reviews, however, my experience with ADT has been dreadful. When I initially had all the equipment installed and signed the contract, I was told that if I were ever to move, ADT would relocate my equipment to the new address. A year later - present day - I move and call ADT to transfer services to the new address. I was told this wouldn't be a problem. Then a week before they are scheduled to come out, a representative calls me and tells me I have to purchase all new equipment and that they will not move the old equipment. A lot of back and forth phone calls later and I talk to a supervisor stating that their "policy changed" and that they cannot (and will not) move the equipment I spent nearly $3000 on. They told me I can "do whatever I want with it". I was renting at my previous residence and if I cannot move the equipment or use it, then it literally has no value to me whatsoever. How they can do that, is beyond me. It feels like a scam to say the least. I got out of my contract immediately. I would never recommend ADT to anyone unless you install the equipment into a home you know you'll be at forever. If not, it's a waste of money.

Jason Ripple: ADT techs are very professional and really know how to satisfy customers. All the work was very well hidden and the clean up was perfect. I have multiple cameras and doorbell cams and these thing really can add the "safe" feeling.

Alarm went off and it was a door sensor that fell off and technician will not come out to fix it. Representative will tell you to just put back up. During the intial installation, the tech crimped the kitchen fan wire and it stopped working. Called ADT and representative said upfront that it's has nothing to do with them and they're not going to fix it. Called an electrician and he said that the tech did crimp the fan wire. ADT company will not admit to their mistake or take responsibility. I highly do not recommend this company.

Juli Bates: I've only had my system since March 20. The most important camera quit working and I had to wait 10 day for a technician. The problem was defective equipment which had to be replaced after only 6 months. Then to add insult to injury I was charged a $25 fee. Seriously ADT? What a racket.10/6/20 updated review as Mr. Fredericksen reached out to me about the problems I expressed above. He kindly refunded the fee and also credited my account for 1 month's monitoring fee. The fact that they cared to reach out and resolve this speaks volumes and makes me believe that I did indeed pick the right security system. Thank you.

mohammad ettaher: BEWARE!!!!!!make sure you read contract very well. I signed a contract in 2011 and some how I'm locked in for a year whether I like it or not. Also im being charged almost double what ADT chargers. Even though my contract ended 4 yrs ago, there was in small print that it automatically renews yearly with a cancellation penalty. Canceling would cause me to pay for equipment that I'm sure is considered ancient, nothing has been touched since 2011. When I voiced my displeasure not one worker cared to help. In fact after receiving the run around for days the final email I received was a very condescending email basically stating I'm screwed no matter what I do and I better have a reminder to cancel 30 days before they renew me for another year.

Abundant Sunshine: I recently changed my alarm monitoring company to Citizens Statewide Security Inc. I am very happy with the smooth transition. Deb, the owner, and Chop, the technician, both were very thorough in explaining what services they had available. I purchased glass breakage motion detectors and a small remote for the system. I put the remote on a lanyard and keep it hanging on my neck because I am at risk of falling. The remote control has made my life much easier as I no longer have to rush to my main control to turn off the alarm when I have opened a door with the alarm still set. When I use my remote, it sends a message to my phone app too. The first few days I had the new alarm monitoring with Citizens, I accidentally set my alarm off (before I purchased the remote) and they were very prompt in calling me to check on me. Chop is very knowledgeable and made some adjustments to my old system. The service I received from Citizens was far more superior than my old company. So happy I found them.

No other solution than to upgrade as no parts were available to us for the old system. SO glad we upgraded to the new system. It is so much faster and easier to use. No complaints! Installation took roughly a full day, but was well worth it. Jessica's communication and assistance throughout the entire project was super efficient. Would definitely reccomend them again.
