Steve & Jennifer Dunckley: My sons vehicle was overheating and i was worried about finding a mechanic in flint since i live 3 hours away. I found this tuffy through reading the reviews, so i called to get out ruching to take a look. I spoke with the manager Duane. He was very friendly and accommodating. I had the car towed there the next morning. Duane had the car diagnosed by lunch and fixed by the end of the day for alot less than he even quoted.He was very honest and helpful and i wouldhly recommend using this Tuffy location. Overall excellent customer service, pricing and work!

Joshua Rouleau: Stopped in as my brakes were making a grinding noise and Dwayne, even though it was late took 5 minutes to look. One of the bolts was missing on the passenger side rear calipers (all new less than two weeks) Thanks Dwayne!

Mitchell Ware: I received a $2200 estimate form them, and decided to get a second opinion. The second shop I took my vehicle gave me an estimate for the same price but completely different issues except for an o2 sensor (tuffy quoted me for 4, we only changed 1 o2 sensor). I decided to go with the other shop and have since put 1500 miles on my vehicle with no issues.

If don't have the time then at least also know they don't just do oil changes and tires.I first read all the bad reviews to see if it was like many of the dishonest, high price place that plaques our city or even had any knowledgeable people that worked there. I notice that almost all the bad reviews were done a year or more ago. I also learned that almost all or all the people that worked there a year or more don't work there any more ( the people that might of cause the bad reviews ).I am mechanically inclined to a point but don't have all the tools, the time and getting to the age I don't want to do it any more. If your anything like this or even don't have a clue what is needed then you need to make this place your number one stop, you won't be sorry!

Martin Jennings: Thank you for helping with what ended up being a piece of metal in one of the tires of our van. It was easy to schedule a time when there would be enough staff onsite early in the day. When I came back, the tire was checked, the metal was removed, the tire was returned to good-as-new. Munro at Linden and Miller Rd. in Flint Township is the best business of its kind in the area!

Spammen Junc: I used to come here probably 15 years ago, and never had a problem.But, a note to people who read reviews to choose a place, as I do, the current crew doesn't work on the hybrid system, no matter which component. The guy tried telling me I *have* to take it to the dealer. I just moved back to the state, and have to find a new shop, but I've had hybrids for 18 years and in many places-- please know that you do *not* have to take your car to a dealership if they try telling you that. There are plenty of skilled mechanics at good shops who work on and know hybrids and hybrid systems. They just happen to not be one of them.

Nathan Byers: Ive used Canrock before with success. This last time I walked through the door at 5:31, sign says they close at 6. Explained I had my wifes tire in the back of the truck and it needed repaired. He told me I would have to leave it becouse they close at 6 and they could get to it the next day. The parking lot was empty I was the only customer. The only thing I could say back was "do you know anyone around that actually works till 6" and he said no. I went 3 minutes east to Budget who did a great job. They showed me it was a side wall blow out that couldnt be fixed, they got a new tire on for me and I was on my way within 15 minutes.

Natalie Brewer: Do not go here for repairs. Maybe they should stick to tires. I had them replace my whole powersteering system. They left bolts loose, missing bolts, the lines rerouted wrong way, left old lines there-cut, left boots not tied on resulting in water getting into rack, ruining seals in rack n pinion, powersteering pump bolts cross threaded not tightened, powersteering belt broke off causing car to do a 180 in middle of road. I brought back there socket they left on my untightened bolt. Thankfully my new boyfriend is a mobile mechanic who re did my whole steering system or I would've filled in small claims court for my money back. Nate the mobile mechanic just got a call from a customer saying he just got his AC compressor done at Monroe and bolts loose causing it to Break OFF. Monroe get another MECHANIC before someone gets HURT! I should just contact the attorney General of MI!

Alvin Brown: Very very poor. Asked for a simple task to be done, which was to flush out the coolant. Set up an appointment earlier on the day to have service done. Waited for 2 1/2 hours and no one even checked on my vehicle. Should not take long to get a job done, especially when an appointment was made early on the morning for the purpose of being done.Then to offer an early service for the next day. That was the point of setting up an early appointment to begin with. Don't say your speedy if you can't do a simple task and there was not even many cars being serviced beforehand.

It just ended up being me heat sheild was coming off and they removed it for me . Great Buch of guys working there . Imrul Kayes Shuvo: It’s the same me who gave a 5 star at Monro, Clarion, Pennsylvania when I had a flat tire to service there. Today, I went here to change a wheel stud and bolt because one of the wheel stud got broken. They told me that they were bringing it from AutoZone and it would cost around $430 total. I denied to service because I’ve checked that the part is only 5 bucks at AutoZone. They then denied to let me drive and told me that there were safety hazards and that’s beyond their policy. I denied to pay the huge amount and stuck there. They then told me that they would give me some discounts and it would be $360! I didn’t wanna repair and wanted to leave with my car. They then told they already took off the tire which they couldn’t put back to my car and let me drive with three studs for the safety reasons. They then made the total $256 and I told them to fix it because they denied to put the tire on. On the bill, I see that the parts are only 6 dollars and the rest they charged me for the labor cost!!! This is how this store is doing their business! I had good experience with Monro in other places but this place made me totally disappointed. Never gonna go there again.

Jerilynn Peet: Counter clerk was not knowledgeable about make and model of car right in front of them, it took two people to find the drain plug for my car. And to top it all off, tired were overtorqued when put on and tightened down in the incorrect pattern. Will not be taking my vehicle here again. Cheaper and easier to do the work at home.

Danny Bragg: Good place for tires but won't recommend it for a front end alignment not at all take it somewhere else they will tell you needs a hole new front end me front end did the alignment with the new parts I put on that was a week old in 30 minutes but Monro tried to get 500 bucks from my son will not be going back there for nothing the manager didn't even know what the hell was going on
