Alyssa Schulte: The first time I tried El Potrero, I was dining in with my family of 7. Our waitress was horrible, our order was messed up, our food came out randomly, and we had to continually ask our waitress for the same things over and over again over the course of about 2.5 hours- we had a 2 year old and a 4 month old baby with us, and it was not busy at all!After paying our bill we asked to talk to management. The management seemed incredibly nice, apologized profusely, blamed his waitress for being new, then asked for my cell phone number to talk during the week over what his restaurant can improve on (we dined in on a Saturday). I said okay because I had such a horrible experience, the bill was a lot and I sympathize with a business trying to do their best.The manager called me on Tuesday afternoon (we dined in the previous Saturday) and I spent a very long time listing off the things that I experienced there and why they aren't okay in the restaurant industry, so he said he was very sorry, and would love for our family to give his restaurant another chance so he would give us 20% off a pick up or dine in order next time if we just tried it again.2 months later, my same family was visiting and decided we should get a pick up order with this place with the 20% off... so we called, placed our order, I gave my name and number and told them the situation we were returning in. THE SAME MANAGER I talked to in person and on the phone said to us while placing a pick-up order over the phone "that just doesn't sound like me" and "I wouldn't do that!? On a $70 order!? That's over 14 bucks... tell you what, I'll do $10 off."Our original bill at this place was $110, and he offered 20% off our next order, after calling me during the week and talking for over 20 minutes apologetically, then called me a liar when I finally returned with a $70 order 2 months later with my name and phone number for a pick-up order!?I will NEVER take my family to this location again. Our table is easy, GOOD MONEY, we are good tippers, and we live right down the road from this place. We will be taking our Mexican food cravings elsewhere.But hey, thanks for the $14 off our 2nd order- but it wasn't worth all the hard feelings, and the time spent complaining the first time honestly! Or worth our family feeling awful twice over the first horrible dine-in situation we had.

Great food. Nice atmosphere. Good prices.Edit: The Manager was EXTREMELY rude to me when I ordered my meal exactly "how"a previous waitress there told me to order what I wanted. So, next visit, when doing so they got it wrong, again. I want to be very polite and I hate sending food back, but the waitress quickly swooped it away when I said it was incorrect. The manager barreled to our table and scolded me in "how" & what I was to order. I didn't (and don't) want what he was demanding that I order. It was belittling and frustrated me. I cannot see going back when normally we would. Especially, today!!! Happy Cinco deMayo.

tanya holcolm: NOT busy when i got there. 6employees, had to wait for a table to be cleaned off to sit. employees wearing crock shoes with holes in the toes i asked for light topping, he added extra. wasnt accepting gift cards or chipolte points. they got busy (15in line) after i sat down and no one came to help. this was my first visit and my last! dirty lobby, no one helping, not taking gift cards, crock shoes, cold food, not following food prep instructions....dirty dishes and food prep tables everywhere.

Even the hot table looks like it’s never been cleaned. 9 out of 10 visits finds this store looking as though a tornado has recently ripped through it.After waiting in line debating whether you actually want to risk the food born illness(es) that most certainly awaits you, you’re greeted by a burrito artist who has surly been trained to make you feel as though you’ve interrupted them with your mundane needs. You need them, they don’t need you.Once you gather your whits from this jarring interaction you’ll be pleasantly surprised by the “30 min wait for rice”, “out of chicken”, or the classic “we ain’t got no sour cream”. The intricate and strategic planning of being out of virtually any item that makes this a burrito business lends itself to a tension among the cue of patrons aimlessly waiting around the disgusting dining room thicker than the aging queso that’s baked onto the trash receptacle.Should you be brave enough to wait 20-30 minutes for the items you actually desire you’ll be lucky enough to continue your walk on eggshells the rest of the way down the hot table until finally reaching the actively dying or potentially already dead inside cashier who will stare through you with dead cold eyes as they mutter “$23.15” if anything at all. “Rewards?” you quietly ask, the cashier quickly points to a sauce stained 6 month old piece of paper that reads “rewards down”. It’s at that moment, your value as a customer is fully realized and you think “it can only get better right?”.On your way toward the door as you’re scrambling to text your significant other the reasoning for being at Chipotle for 53 minutes you reach for a handful of napkins… not here bud, not here.

dustin vangordon: I just went to this location on 4/6/23 and the line was almost to the door. After waiting 30-40 minutes in line, the line employees are not communicating at all, the lady checking out the items is asking everyone down the line 3 times what we had in our bowls, one of the line employees is chomping on gum like no other, and after I asked for a large chips and Queso at the register, a bag of chips was placed in my bag, but no Queso. So I had to go back for that. It didn’t feel like any managing was really going on this night.

Adam sharp: Well, where do i start? This place is a huge carnival. Let me just start by saying please do the community you serve a huge favor. Don't let your employees(clowns) sit on the counter. Thats a start. 2nd please get some type leader running the show. I was just served by 10 teenagers who have 0 communication skills let alone know what keeping a clean workspace means for the health of the paying customers. This place has been here for a yr minimal. Please tell me why we are out of almost every product we offer. After paying 50 dollars for what was the most depressing meal i have ever eatn, I can assure you i will never step a foot in that circus tent you call chipotle again. I beg you to please get some real managers and some good team leaders. Train them kids. Or else this will be yet another food establishment thats a complete failure to this already dying city. Chelsea: Everyone here has a horrible attitude. This last visit our bowls were made terribly. Hardly any toppings put on. This location used to be amazing but lately they have hired workers with the worst attitude I have ever seen. Not a simple greeting or have a nice day. They won't even look at you when making your food or when you pay. The workers make it not enjoyable to go there. It even shows in the quality of how your food is made.
