Runyans' Country Tree Farm Inc: what do users think?
Pam Rooker: If you are looking for the BEST Christmas tree farm around, this is it.You'll receive a warm Welcome from us and memories to last a lifetime.Come see us in 2023.
Steven Williams: Absolutely the best Christmas tree farm in the area!
Samuel Buchler: Our family has been coming here for 20 years. It’s always been a staple of our Christmas season. This year they were extra busy and it resulted in us waiting in the woods for 90+ minutes after cutting down our tree. When we got a trailer back to the store the owner was there and covered our tree and snacks. Our experience this year was not what you should expect by coming here, unfortunate as it may have been they handled it greatly and we will be back for many years to come.
Officer Buchler: very kind. cares so much about there costumers and there trees. 🎄🌲🎄🎄🌲🌲
Depke333: Awesome Tree farm
Matthew Blondeel: This is a Great place to make a family tradition. High quality trees and loving care and service. The owners truly love people as is evident in every area of the farm. You will probably meet them because they are always making sure every family is enjoying the experience. It is clear that this is not just a way for them to make money but a way to share God's love to everyone. On top of all that I may just find a reason to go back again this year for more Hot Carmel Apple Cider! Merry Christmas!
tim Warren: Awesome family tradition for three generations. Runyan's just gets better every year!
Shelby Kleinknecht: Absolutely loved it here! 😍 So friendly and helpful. Plus the selection alone of both you cut and precut Christmas trees🎄 are great and the pricing isn't too bad either I spent less than $100 got a great tree, some delicious hot cocoa, apple cider and coffee☕ and home made cinnamon sugar donuts 🍩 😋
William Hatt: Vary friendly and helpful. Will recommend them to friends and family.
Elizabeth Bates: They had a great selection of trees, and I loved the center pieces
Nicole Murphy: Great experience at the farm today. We got an 8 foot Fraser Fir for $78 which is very reasonable to us. We also tried their large gingerbread cookie and it was very delicious and chewy. The hot caramel apple cider drink is so yummy both my husband and I ordered one. Our kids had hot chocolate which was super tasty. The chocolate peanut butter brownie is out of this world moist and delicious. We purchased some raspberry filled and cinnamon sugar cake donuts. The donuts, though tasty, were on the dry side and they only had a small variety to choose from. I was bummed I didn't get to try the egg nog and caramel apple donuts. There were so many employees available to help and everyone was very kind and friendly. This was our first year doing a real tree with our young family and we plan to make this experience a yearly tradition at Runyan's.
Spencer M: Nice people
Gerald Weller: And they take debit/credit cards. Awesome experience every year!
Linda Cannon: We love Runyans. Great trees and other goodies. Everyone is friendly and helpful
Nick Lyden: Just 4 stars because of their limited selection on trees considering its so early in Dec. They did a great job maintaining their covid protocols and it was still a fun experience this year. We enjoyed our visit. Great prices on Christmas gifts too. Go buy some gifts from them and support a local business. Thanks for our tree!! Merry Holidays
Brian Ernst: Awesome
Scott Badgero: Thought we would try a different place this year. Could only purchase precut and not a good selection. Won’t be a returning customer. No one waited on us. After purchasing the tree it was by far more expensive than any other tree farm I have gone too.
Heather Terlecki: I will go back there every year for the rest of my life! Staff and workers were so nice and warm hearted i literally almost cried. Definitely worth goin out there! Thanks again runyans! 😁💕🌷
Soby Mcnoby: Will definitely make this a family tradition ..
Timothy Manz: Merry Christmas from the Manz family... love our Christmas tree and we will be back next year... Awesome staff as well
Megan Ramey: Always a great experience and traditions to be made

kent towns: Always a great experience! Awesome people!
Renee Nikki Dee Fuller (Nikki Dee): Nice and beautiful, freshly cut trees at a very fair price. Employees were very helpful and courteous. Will definitely be back again next year!
Lauren Nurmi: The tree my husband and I purchased was the first tree we had ever purchased in the four years we have been together. There was something magical about getting a tree for our first Christmas in our house. Thank you to everyone who helped us get such a beautiful tree!
Eric: Very helpful, and the trees are amazing!
Caryn McFarland: Great place. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Didn’t have exactly what I was looking for so they went out and cut down another one just for us. Highly recommend!
connie spaly: The most beautiful Christmas tree I have ever seen 17 footer. They delivered it and set it up, I highly recommend whispering tree farm and they earned my 5 star rating.
Teri: We went there, for the 1st time today. The trees were beautiful and not too expensive. The owner and employees were super nice and attentive. I will recommend this place, to everyone I know and we plan on getting our tree there next year.
Andrew Armstrong: We have been buying our trees from them for years. Their tress have always been fresh, often cut that morning. They are helpful and friendly. As a result we have a tree that we like and lasts long.
Kayla’Kay J.: My family and I been going to this place since I can remember. He always remember my mom and remembers my sisters birthday(November 21st). Very friendly and now since I’m an adult with kids I’ll forever take my kids to go search for a Christmas trees here. Family tradition. Thank you.

Petiprin’s Christmas Tree Farm: what do users think?
Bob Hetherton: Very poor selection, mostly overgrown trees that people have chopped off several feet off the ground. Couldn’t find anything around 9 ft that had a regular or decent shape. No new growing trees. Definitely all old growth, time to shut it down.
Michele norkus-comby: Terrible selections with a tremendous price increase from last year. We have gone here the last few years to support our local neighborhood. We knew this year might be slim pickings but wanted to give it a try. Never would have thought they would of jumped prices like they did with very little inventory they have (they must know its their last year to jump thos prices) and really you can only cut the tops off to get a half way decent tree. Kind of a rip off. This was the last year for us going here.
Bianca Borders: Great little tree farm with a good variety of trees. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Had a fun time cutting down our own tree!
Jerom Savage: Great U-cut christmas tree farm. The owner James extremely nice and helpful. My family had a great time. We will definitely be back next year!
Loren Butts: Lowest price was 80$ for their smallest trees. Drove all the way there after seeing great reviews and was very disappointed. Not affordable at all.
Joe Bonifazi: Great time and friendly people!
Lori Alley: Great tree selection and great service. You get a saw to cut your tree and a sled to carry it out...then they shake & bale it. We drove almost an hour to get there and we will be there next year, too!
Tim Fargo: Very nice trees at good prices and friendly people. Much better selection than the places down nearer metro Detroit that have been picked over. Still many good trees left as of 12/6/2020.
Dayne Hopkins: Nice people. Tons of tree options. Much better than Runyans where we used to go. You cut the trees yourselves, which we prefer.
Jennifer Hunter: Several trees still left. Most are large so you may need to cut in middle of tree. Staff very helpful.
Ben Jolley: Super cool experience. You get there and the family is very friendly and welcoming. They give you a sled and a saw and give you the pricing. This year they said any variety under 9' was $60. There are a lot of trees to choose from. Neat experience and good family memories.
Sabrina Walker: Very nice family owned.
Brittany Livesay: Most Beautiful trees ! So Many varieties on sizes of trees and very helpful
Timothy Horne: Great friendly people!!
Jeffrey Powers: Very nice selection of tall trees, 10+ ft. tall. We found a beautiful Fraser Fir.
Betty Ciesielski: Beautiful trees and very helpful. Our tree stands tall in the downtown Linden. James Petiprin was extremely helpful.

Windy Hill Tree Farm: what do users think?
Joseph Swords: The staff at Windy Hill was helpful and festive. We found the perfect sized (7') Black Hill Spruce with rich blue and green colors for $58. Our boys enjoyed the animals, maze, and telling Santa about the nerf guns and Pokemon they hope to receive this Christmas. We ended our morning with cider and doughnuts while sitting in the magically decorated barn. Definitely a five star experience.
Karen Galvas: This place is really nice .We got a beautiful tree. The weekend they have hayrides and a maeze Santa and Mrs Claus.they have wonderful crafts and wreaths a concession stand .It's well worth the drive
Chrystal MacAuley: Love this place...been coming here for the last 10 yrs
Jonathan Román: Awesome staff and beautiful trees 😀
Caleb Hobbs: Beautiful farm, friendly staff, a cool toy train, and awesome trees at a great price.
A. Elizabeth T. Slag: Loved this tree farm!!! We Brought our 4 and 6 year olds, they played in the hay maze and were able to visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus. Everyone was super friendly, not that crowded and a great selection of trees! Highly recommend
13 13: We have been going here for the past three years, they are amazing there. #1 tree farm in Michigan
Scott Bullard: $80 for a 3 foot pine y'all
Meaghan Mitchell: This place was awesome! Very kid friendly, with animals to visit, room to roam while looking for trees, tractor ride, and hay bale maze. The staff were super friendly and engaging with the kids. The environment exceeded my expectations. The concessions barn was beautifully decorated. Just overall an awesome experience and will be making this a family tradition for years to come.
David Bartell: Very cool, and family friendly. The trees are beautiful and the staff very helpful!
Tobias Lerke: Very affordable decorations, friendly staff many of which are family related. Staff helped put the tree on top of vehicle. Animals and small hay maze would be enjoyable for children. Both uncut and pre cut trees are provided with multiple types available. Wear boots due to being muddy and wet around the trees. Hot chocolate and apple cider was tasty, donuts only on the weekends. There is a nice indoor seating area. They made us a custom large absolutely gorgeous wreath with lights. Will return every year for wreaths, decorations, trees, and the enjoyable staff.
R S: I cant really say BECAUSE THEY NEVER ANSWER THEIR PHONE ,When I call to see if they have trees I need. I've called 10 times. Screw it. I go somewhere else.
Cadenza: Updating my review as we have finally gotten a hold of someone. Very thankful that they still had a few trees and let us get one. I wish we could have gotten a hold of someone sooner, or had some kind of post saying what was going on. But I am grateful they had a few trees left for us to pick from.
tonya blackwell: Its a great place to start family traditions. It has been 20 yrs of family traditions for my family, we really enjoy it
Paige Pallaska: Such a wonderful holiday experience for the whole family. We had so much fun searching for our perfect tree, visiting with the animals, and also getting beautiful hand-made wreaths, arrangements, and grave blankets. We can’t wait to visit again next year!
Nick Jaco: Makes people leave with out a mask. Even though everything is out doors. They kick people out with a medical condition and is very rude!
Nicholas Jaco: Refusing people for no mask even though they have a medical condition. The place is all outdoors
Tammy McPherson: It is awful that you lost someone to Covid!! We have purchased our tree from Windy Hill for several years. We have had great conversations with the owner and enjoyed the whole experience. This year however, totally different. When we arrived we got out of the truck and was met by a gentleman who stated we need a mask. I stated I forgot mine and asked if they were selling any. His response..."No, get out of here, we don't want you here." All from a distance of 20 feet. Nothing else said. We left. Covid is stressful on everyone, but that treatment was uncalled for and undeserved and unprofessional.
Todd Babcock: What an experience terrific time!!! Recommend to everyone to go out take a tractor ride!!
jeff gorton: I've been buying my tree here for years and this year the selection was not good at all. We've bought a beautiful Frasier Fur here for years and this year was the year of 2020 thays forsure. We ended up getting another type of tree which was took us forever to settle on "something". I'll chalk this up to welcome to 2020 cause why wouldn't the only thing left be screwed up. Yes I'll be back next year to go support my local business. I hope next year the trees are much better.
Jane Dyer-Parrott: The owners are friendly, helpful & concerned about their customers! Trees are beautiful & the atmosphere is delightfully Christmassy!!! Thank you...we have & plan to return again!!!

Trim Pines Farm: what do users think?
Erik Zavicar: Took the time to talk to me about site prep and design options even though they supply trees that are much bigger than what I need. I appreciate the great customer service.
Stacey Peterson: Would be nice if they let google know or advertised they are not open any more after driving so far to get there.
Wendy Wisner: We took our inner city church youth group to cut down their own trees. The first young man we met was very helpful and sweet.I was shocked by the attitude of the "employees" at the checkout. When I asked if they needed my phone number or tax ID she called the owner who stated they charge tax to everyone. No discounts for ANYONE!Trim Pine's prices are much higher then other tree farms with in a 20 minute drive of the church. We as a church nor our family will ever be shopping at Trim Pine Farms again.
Linda Light: Ron and I went to talk to Mike there about our scrubs and he was so helpful in giving us all the information about putting new ones and how to plant them and keep them up. I would recommend him to anyone having trouble of any kind in landscaping. We also are using his mulch and Diary Doo with all our landscaping.
Aaron Klosterman: I've been working with Trim Pines for landscaping/ tree planting at my home and business for years. Their customer service and knowledge is always top notch! They always have great advice for me when it comes to tree planting and anytime I have a question, they have an answer. Anytime we purchase trees, they take the time to drive us us around the farm, explain the characteristics of the different tree species and make great recommendations based on our needs. Customer service like this is hard to find these days. Keep up the great work Trim Pines!!!

Douglas Tree Farm & Nursery: what do users think?
kathy kiley: Great place to get a fresh cut tree. Owner is very friendly and hwlpful.
Margaret Helin: Been getting our trees there for years. Great service & trees.
Laura Hunt: We found a lovely tree, and really enjoyed the owner! Please call before you visit - Google has the hours posted incorrectly...and while the owner is very accommodating, I'm sure you aren't going to be able to go out looking for a Christmas tree in the dark. Great selection of firs, blue spruces and beautiful nursery trees. We will be back for trees for our yard!

Mutch's Hidden Pines: what do users think?
Polly Crosley: It’s the best. We come here every year from down in the city to cut down our tree. It’s well worth the drive. Our tree was perfect and we received many compliments on it. Someone even thought it was fake it looked so perfect. There was minimal droppings from the tree as well even with low water maintenance (things get busy when you have a baby and a toddler). The photo of the tree is at the end of this season, and it looks brand new. We got the tree the first weekend they were open. Looks like we picked it yesterday. The second photo is the droppings from the tree after I beat it on the ground. Very minimal for being cut for so long.
Trever Helmstead: Great placed to pick a tree will come back every year!
Glenn Surbrook: Great family experience with Santa and Mrs. Claus.
John Marion: Very "with it" tree farm. Organized and tagged, groomed trees. Many options to choose from.
Rebecca Weekley: Friendly staff. Beautiful farm and great trees!
Rob Puckett: This place was a ten but now very disappointed on prices on Christmas trees,
Krystal Kozuh: This place runs like a well oiled machine!! Everything is so efficient and convenient, even on the busiest of days. Lots of quality, beautiful trees to choose from at a decent price. This is our second year visiting Mutch’s and we will definitely be back again next year!
Sherry Potter: Beautiful place
life of cat 2: It was pog
Samantha Hallman: This place is so wonderfully quaint. Tractors to drive you out to a large and well-maintained tree farm, super friendly high school/college kids working the rounds, hot cocoa/cookie stand, fire pits throughout to warm up while you wait, log cabin with Santa, country store in a barn - it’s just lovely and reasonably priced. Such a great way to make holiday memories with the family.
O P: We had a great time! Any size blue spruce $50!
Allison Bieri: This was our first visit to Mutch's and what a wonderful experience! They have it all...a fun but low key and quaint atmosphere, friendly staff, huge selection of trees and great prices. We will be back next year!
Brian Palencik: Always have a great selection of trees. Staff is always very helpful and polite. Would highly recommend this tree farm for your next Christmas tree.
Levi Johnstone: Great customer service, beautiful trees, and good prices. Best tree farm in the region!
Holly Urbanek: We found this place by mistake and so glad we stopped!!!! And THANK YOU for being open this weekend, started a new tradition for us 🎄🎅❤️The staff was beyond friendly and helpful, we enjoyed the Wagon ride, great selection of trees, gift shop was super cute and cozy, Santa and Mrs Claus were just a great end to our day, the whole experience was outstanding!!
Moler Brian: This our 2nd year. Just got back from getting out tree. Love going there, Great Staff, love the have the wagon ride out and back. Went yesterday and bought a wreath and today a tree.Coffee ans Cocoa a little pricey.Everything was great.Brian , Zachary and Shelby
David Castro: It is a really big space to find your Christmas tree 🌲. I loved that Santa and Mrs. Santa were there even they were behind of a window, They made very happy my kids.At the end, we choose our tree and take it home. My entire family loved the trip.
Karen Buckley: Nice friendly employees. Huge selection of three types of fir trees. I will be returning next year.
Heather Jackson: The older lady standing outside your gift shop needs to stop ruining families Christmas holidays! 😡 My husband and I have a family tradition every year of taking our children to pick out our yearly Christmas tree & matching wreath. 🎄 After meeting Santa shopping after hours at Walmart last year we accepted the invitation to come to Mutchs. 🎅 We were excited to come & we had a lovely day there! The trees were plentiful, the sun was shining, we saw Santa...everyone was in a great mood and happy to be out together as a family, something we don't get to experience as much anymore because of Covid. 🌞 We paid for our tree and everything was fine until we decided to walk over by the gift shop area. Now I want add I believe in wearing masks, both for my safety and yours. I'm a rule follower and would never do anything against Covid or Mutchs recommendations! My entire family was wearing a mask except our 3 year old. We walked by the garage area and an older dark haired woman said a minimum of 5 in the gift shop and we all have to wear masks. Fine with me, we were all wearing masks. She said our 3 yo was okay without one. Now mind you the Mutchs Tree Farm website states for Covid 19 mask guidelines... please wear a mask when entering the gift shop or if social distancing is not possible. We were told since the gift shop was empty we could all go in together since we were one group. She also said how there wasnt much left in there anyway... like trying to deter us from entering. 🤔 My husband and oldest son waited outside in the grass with our dog. While standing in the gravel talking with my family & about to walk into open garage, the woman complained my mask wasnt up high enough even though the tip of my nose and nostrils were covered but still I happily compiled. My eye glasses were already touching it. My 3 children and i wear glasses and it was steamy in there for us with masks and glasses on so we couldn't stay even a min because I cant see without my glasses and cant take my mask off. I understand, my problem. So all left the gift shop and went back out through the garage. We were standing in the gravel outside the garage. I turned my head back and stopped by the last wreath hanging on the wall, right underneath the open garage door and removed my glasses to see the price tag. I couldn't see it so i put my glasses back on and pushed the bridge of my nose forward to vent the mask a quarter inch to release steam to try again to see the tag. The lady working yelled at me again that "I can't do that either and need to wear my mask properly or I can't be in the garage" Ridiculous. I'm standing outside underneath the wide open 10 foot garage door in the opening of a 3 sided room. The worker was the only person inside the garage and was a good 20 feet away from me. She is costing you money and customers by her excessive rudeness and paranoia. I say this not only as a customer but as a business owner too. She's extreme and her rudeness embarrassed us and made it so we won't we come back again Covid or not. I've been many places since this all started in March and have always worn my mask, required or not and have never had to be spoken to like this, not once but twice. 😷Alao many nice trees are not for sale. You see a beautiful tree, get excited, everyone runs ovet but then there's no tag on it so thay means nope we can't cut it. No tag, no tree. I understand but repeat that 100 times in the course of 2 hour trying to find that perfect tree. 😂
Michelle Hoskins: So many beautiful trees, it was hard to choose. Fire pits everywhere, friendly attentive staff. A GREAT family place!!!
James: Local family owned and ran business with great staff. We have been return customers for years. Great for all ages - put they have Santa and Mrs Claus to visit while you wait for your tree to get wrapped. Great little tradition that won't break the bank.
