Richard C: Yeah I was in Burlington coat factory walking around looking at everything because I like to take my time and look at things before I purchase them I'm a white male who has a lot of tattoos and the cops were called on me saying I'm a shoplifter a known shoplifter and I haven't even lived in Michigan but a couple months and have been in their store one other time and spent $180 on clothes and jackets so if I was you I wouldn't go to Burlington coat factory on Miller road if you have tattoos or if you take too long to look at stuff because they will call the cops on you
Sarah Carr: They have a really nice selection of shoes at this store. I recently went here shopping for boots and found more than I expected. I ended up with a pair of boots and two pair of shoes at checkout and I spent probably less than I would for one pair at some other stores. My favorite thing to shop for here though is the bath/body products and the accessories. They have some really high end beauty products flor way cheap! Shampoos, serums, lotions, bubble baths, and soaps. You name it! They also have some cool things in the accessory aisles. Just unique looking clutch purses, jewelry, stockings, and hair pretties. The candles are where it’s at though. They have candles here that are top notch, normally expensive, and sold in high end stores. That’s because they last the longest, they are made with all natural ingredients, they smell the best, and now they are only available at Burlington Coat Factory and sold there for nearly nothing. It’s so worth it! See you over there!

I worked for Frank DeLorenzo at don Franco’s Salon, when it was in the Hyatt! Late 1980’s early 1990’s ish! Anyway this shop is fun and the people are wonderful. I had my 87 year old mom with me and they loved her and took the time to talk to her and I, even though they were busy. My mom bought me not 1 but 2 hats. The hats are great quality and I always am asked where it was purchased!! Props to #shift & #flint💞 I love how they’ve occupied that corner of the block. It’s a must stop at place while you’re in the area, so close to Farmers Market too🙌🏽

If I want high end products- be it clothing, jewelry, bags, etc.- this is where I go. For the quality you get, the pricing is affordable. What you find here, you will not find anywhere else in the area.

Elizabeth Vanhecke: Shift Flint is such a fun store. I’m obsessed with every item in there. I basically stopped buying clothes from any other store and shop almost exclusively at Shift Flint for unique and trendy outfits you won’t see on anybody else. It is also the BEST place to buy gifts (accessories, home goods, novelty items) that are guaranteed to brighten the day of the lucky receiver. I’ll pick up cute items just to sock away for when I do need a gift to give because I know it won’t be there if I wait because everything is unique and they only stock a few of any item. The owners and staff are so fun and trendy and the vibe in the store is pure joy. Their Instagram page @shiftflint is also fun to follow to see the latest trends and fresh looks. The price point on their items are very reasonable. Awesome, high quality pieces at affordable cost. I highly recommend a fun girls night out in Downtown Flint to shop at Shift and then eat at one of the cool and trendy restaurants. If you are unable to check it out in person, their online store has everything too. Shift Flint is my go-to store. Love love LOVE SHIFT FLINT ❤️

Most of my recent purchases in the past couple of years has been from shift from fun long down vests (in hot pink and silver) to camouflage shirts and a gorgeous faux fur. I receive many compliments when I head out in my “shift” purchases. Also got great gifts for friends and family there. Just a fun place to shop. Multiple sizes from petite to 3X so really something for everyone! Great retail therapy!!

Last time I checked you have to honor the listed price. The manger caused a scene in the store yelling. We called corporate and they did in fact say that she had to honor that price. He filled a complaint on her. Terrible customer service.

bobbie manns: friendly staff eager to help and the only place I have been able to find embellished jeans. prices are crazy expensive (up to $180 per pair for jeans) but you are paying for the name and the shopping experience so, it's a personal choice if one wants to spend that kind of money. (personally i hit up the clearance rack...still more than I usually spend but, as mentioned the only place I was able to find embellished jeans)
Cecilia Catchem: To start off with all the staff is rude and do not care about their customers. All I wanted to do is just replace the size of the shirt. I grabbed the wrong size and they would not let me exchange it to get the correct one.

Kathy Sayles: Went to the Maurice store in the Genesee Valley Mall. While looking around in the plus size clearance rack an associate approached myself and my 3 daughters and asked what we were looking for. I replied that we were just looking around. The associate informed me that I was in the wrong section for my size and shooed me out of that section. After looking on the racks that were “my size” I happened to notice a pair of capris on the plus size clearance rack and made my way back over to that section to look at them, and was once again shooed out of that area. After finding a dress to try on we made our way to the dressing rooms, after noticing that the dressing rooms were unlocked I took my one item in to try on. Shortly after entering the dressing room that same associate came to the back and got very rude with my 3 daughters, telling them that anything that went into the dressing room had better come back out, and it better be put in the appropriate location. I originally went into that particular store because I bought a pair of pants from that location a few years ago and wanted to see if they maybe had another pair that were similar, but after being treated like a thief that was going to rob them blind I don’t feel the need to spend my hard earned money at a store where the associates have no problem being rude.

Madison Lester: Maurices is always a must go for me while I am at the mall. They have clothes 0-24 and they also do a completely FREE service called a “style session”. You just call and tell them what size you wear and they create tons of stunning outfits for you!! Even down to the shoes and jewelry! The girls that work there are always eager to help and are always so friendly.PS if you have your little ones with you they also have a kids corner with coloring books back by the fitting rooms for all of you mamas out there!

If you call ahead of time and ask them to book a personal styling session, they will pick you head to toe outfits that match your style needs and have them ready in a fitting room for you when you get there. You also get a free reusable Maurice’s bag while supplies last, AND you’ll get your own personal shopper to grab you size exchanges as needed. The store is always neat and clean. Located down the JCPenny wing!
