Ayy Lmao: I’ve been to golden eagle multiple times and have been satisfied with most of my purchases, and the pricing is fair for many of their coins and precious metals. However, do your own research beforehand online to see if you are getting the best deals. Also, be very wary of any of the “grab-bags” they offer. I purchased one and was pretty disappointed in the contents. Lesson learned.

Lost For words: First off I’d like to say I’ve been a customer for years now, always enjoyed the place. Not so much since his son took over the counter , prices are Extremely High.He pays 2 under spot on rounds & sells them for 9 over which is perfectly fine, “until things settle down that is. You can only get over on ppl so many times before they realize it. By the way, sometimes they will refuse to buy from the customer do to volatility. Bad Business IMO

Mike E: Let me tell you about my experience with this coin dealer. I am a regular customer who makes very good business to this company. I’ve been coming here for about 2 or 3 years. I come in 4 times in the past 2 or 3 months. One of the workers start shouting at me when I am talking normally to him. Mind you I’m not too far away from him. So I talk in a normal tone but he continues to be rude and obnoxious. About 10 minutes later I pick out the coins I wanted. I go to pay and all I have is a gift card to pay with. He says we gotta charge a fee to use the credit card machine. Usually there’s a minimum of a 15 cent charge on any transaction. They charge a 3% fee. So what does the worker do? He goes and steals from the credit card fee and charges me extra. I come in a different time and I buy some silver coins. Man that was a big mistake. I pay him 20 dollars cash and I needed to pay another dollar which I didn’t have. So I tell him to charge me a dollar. What does he do. He goes and charges me $1.63. If I let you use my card for 1 dollar how come I am charged 63 cents extra? 15 cents was all he should of charged me extra. Which would have amounted to $1.15. They have stolen from the greatest customer they will ever see in their lifetime. THESE PEOPLE ARE CROOKS! Do not come here they will try to steal from the fees of using a credit card. Jeff I will not be making anymore business to you ever again. You have lost a great customer and will never find another one like him.

If your curious on the value of a coin collection he is willing to appraise it. So go and enjoy Golden Eagle coin stamps.

Chaz Andersan: if you are looking for silver I would look somewhere else. Currently they are charging $16 per ounce over spot for silver eagles and they only pay spot if you want to sell yours. I used to shop here a few years ago and they were very fair and I understand that this is a different market but these prices are ridiculous.

The woman tried to say it was the going rate. I took her to another place that i had done business with before, and they gave her over $3000! Don't go to Genesee Valley Gold and Silver. They rip you off by trying to offer you 10% of the true value.
