Comic Relief: what do users think?
chetham brazill: Nice place
Budgieking: Went there to get transformers shattered glass comics, and they reliably had it instockThey got almost every brand comic, and occasonally has vintage toys
Kayden Sharick: Very pact inside and not very friendly or helpful
Carmen Slocum: Lots of cool Pokemon cards!
Noel Stalker: Great selection of new comics and back issues
Matt Shaker: I have fond memories of this place from when I was a kid, so I went in and had a look around for old time's sake. I've been thinking of collecting comics again for years. But... look, I'm not going to be rude here, but I was disappointed with the customer service and the state of the store. I walked in with close to $500, and purchased nothing. I can't believe this is the same place I once met Mart Nodel, creator of Green Lantern.
Justin Latreille: Great people
Zach Cooper: Awesome local comic shop. Check it out!
Zugly Monster: So many Funko Pops
Cyberpunk Eddiegordozen: A very good selection of comic books all sorts of other collectibles as well would highly recommend
Duwayne Troyer: Get all you comic and games
Kellsy Pirozek: This place is awful. Was never greeted, or asked if we were alright, or needed anything. To the kid behind the counter; you don't have to click your nails on the counter while a customer is standing looking at items in the front of the store as if you're in some kind of hurry. You also don't have to roll your eyes at customers when they are talking to you about coming back for a comic YOU should have pulled, or flip their newly purchased comic in their face, because AGAIN, you're in some kind of hurry to get us out. Pretty rude. It's also VERY unorganized. Good luck finding anything specific you'd be looking for.
Gecko E: Place was amazing very nice worker tons of amazing comics
Thomas Natzke: Great place for comics and collectable they have a very large selection to choose from.
Kelly Brown: I am going to leave an honest review. In response, and based upon other honest reviews, the owner will probably be rude and tell me “good story”. But here goes: Parking is horrible. I had to park across the street and walk over. The store looks run down and shady. When you walk inside, it is not much better. Those who said it looks like someone’s basement are being generous. It is very disorganized, extremely dirty, dusty and has an unpleasant odor. No one was working at the register and no one ever greeted or acknowledged us the whole time we were in the store. There was some kind of card tournament going on in the back of the store. People had fast food out everywhere and were talking very loudly, including creative strings of curse words. Some merchandise in the store was covered in dust so thick I could not read the price tag. There was a dry erase calendar in the corner of the store that still had dates and events from July 2015. Everything appeared to be overpriced and I felt like I needed gloves to look through things. We left without purchasing anything and will not return based upon this experience. We went across town to the store on Richfield Rd. We were greeted as soon as we walked in the door. It was clean and well organized, no dust, no bad odors. They will have my business.
rick bastuba: Go see Lou ..
Dannielle Shafer: This was a great old school comic shop. My son Found some back issues he had been looking for and their new release wal was full of all kinds of independent releases! Really enjoyed the visit!
Jenn Hoornstra: I always find back issues I need. Well organized and helpful when I have questions.
Matt Anderson: Love this place, tons of great comics.
Bradley Winebarger: Fair price on everything I checked. Large selection of comics and magic cards. Also has a fair selection of board games, collectibles, and some other items.
J Nicholson: A true gem. Love this store! Staff is always friendly and willing to take the time to talk comics and super hero’s with my son. Everyone should take the time to stop in slow down and buy something tactile in this digital world. A comic book is a time machine that takes you to new worlds and even back to your childhood.

Jim Thurlow: They have comics and more comics. Owner was very nice and they had many different comics to pick from. Had a couple new shelves and then many long boxes to thumb through. I'll be back.
Brea Glenn (mssweet7): This is one of my favorite comic shops in town. They offer discounts when you purchase multiple books, and they'll hold new issues of books for you so you don't have to try to rush in around school and work schedules. They carry a lot of Indy and obscure comics, and they even have some mature content behind the counter for 18+.
Me Two: Great small local businesses very friendly

Holly Blake: My son absolutely loves this place! Not enough time to go through everything they have
Jenn Hoornstra: New collector, loved the straight forward organization and prices.
Kevin Loxton: Very good selection. Prices were very reasonable. Owners could not have been more helpful or nicer. My son and I will be back.
Matt Hopkins: They were sold out if what we were looking for but they were very helpful.
Andrew Iwamasa (CCornerMI): Nice classic comic shop! New comics and back issues for all genres!

The Good Beans Cafe: what do users think?
F F: Ken is super nice and coffee is very good!
Al Conrad: First time here and won't be my last. Owner Ken is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. The decor is beautiful with a 1920s bar out of the old Capitol building in Flint. 100% would recommend
Christopher Hopp: Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5More
Roz Weedman: This is a post-worst-of-the-pandemic review. The Good Beans Cafe has survived. I'm sure it wasn't easy but it is open again. I think the owner would like you to know that it is OPEN (I'm writing this Nov. 12, 2022) and that the HOURS ARE MWF from 10 - 2 and people will need to wait for more staffing for more extended hours. So I hadn't been here (I don't live in the area) since before the pandemic closure and I cannot tell you how grand it was to stop for a cappuccino and see people talking and enjoying their coffee at the Good Beans again. For those who don't know, the drinks are extraordinary, the owner friendly and gracious, the atmosphere just fantastic -- it's a terrific funky coffee shop that would also be right at home in Ann Arbor, for instance. It's got its own vibe (obviously generated by the owner) that is still intact, too, like every excellent indie coffee shop. There's enough dedicated parking. My friend and I sat there probably a good 90 minutes catching up and enjoyed ourselves.I highly recommend this place and hope folks can find the time to rejoin life at the Good Beans even without full hours yet. Welcome back, Good Beans! Glad to see you again!
Michael Puckett: The barista was friendly and the coffee amazing.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Valerie Lewis: What a wonderful neighborhood cafe!
Julia Abel: Great vibes and good drinks :)
Karen Fattal: So friendly, awesome cold brew!!!!!!
Camille Turner: My newest obsession is a good caramel or mocha latte! I have gone past this place for years and finally decided to go in. After asking about my taste buds, the owner made me a simple yet sumptuous mocha latte. He advised me how to make one and what to use at home as well- even the type of machine to buy for an at home experience. Very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. I purchased the coffee, and other ingredients from him and made it at home...HIS is much better though. He IS the barista! I'll be going back.
JUSTIN SCANLON: Excellent coffee and friendly atmosphere. Better than ever after re-opened.
WB Sey: Dine in: Yes Outdoor seating: Yes Takeout: Yes Delivery: No Curbside pickup: NoMore
Ken Sylvester: Dine in: Yes Outdoor seating: Yes Takeout: YesMore
Killian Michaels: Great coffee shop, a must visit when your in the downtown area.
Cathy Sutton: The music and vibe is chill, the coffees are very tasty and the waiters are really kind.
Case Christopher: Best coffee in town.
Jon L: Great products, lots of vegan options, nice atmosphere and good music
Santiago Ochoa: Good Beans, even better service.
T.J.: Super friendly place. Nice neighborhood atmosphere and good coffee.
Tobias Lerke: Good coffee and sort, welcoming atmosphere, the owner is very social and can tell likes his espresso, that he cares and has invested in his service. Strongly supports LGBTQ+, Kettering University LGBTQ+ student organization meets here every Friday. Definitely outclasses Star Bucks and Tim Hortons with a long list of recipes to choose from.My favorite is the Old Flannel and mocha with espresso.
Jenni Z: The staff is so friendly and knowledgeable; I've never had a bad experience here! Friendly comfortable atmosphere and extremely supportive of the local art community.
Lorielle Alexander: One of my favorite spots ever. It's closer to the house and the prices are great. Old Flannel Shirt is my favorite but I need 4 shots in mine 😆
